gonna start cleaning up and posting all the dumb art i made for ffxiv now that ive finally finished the first expansion after playing off and on for two years

spoilers for some thoughts on a realm reborn underneath the cut/

Had alot of fun playing through it and can't wait to get started on the next expansion! I've got thoughts abt ARR tho!! The two big moments that had me feeling a certain way was when 1) the waking sands gets found by the villains and everyone gets captured/killed and the wol is all alone. It was so sad! AND THEN they make you bury all the fallen🥺 They really lulled you into a false sense of security and rhythm just to take it all away leaving you feeling so lonely. Boys road trip with Cid and Alphi was fantastic tho! I loved getting to be an unlikely slightly dysfunctional trio that has to go save everybody^^

2) was the FUCKING THANCRED REVEAL! OH HOW I WAS FOOLED! all the times i just wrote off the red flags. More than once made jokes abt how funny it was that when it was his turn to go on a mission with wol he just fully flaked and left the newbie to fight a whole ass deity by themself. "he felt bad abt it afterwards" i said "he was so apologetic" afdjhbckhg literally everytime you'd show up at the waking sands thancred would just be sitting by himself in a corner looking incredibly depressed so i labeled him my precious emo boi. They left to breadcrumbs to figure out the Lahabrea betrayal and i fully ignored them T-T

game play did drag in some moments that i think lessened the urgency of the story beats but overall i really did love playing through it! It's made me really excited to see how each expansion gets better since i know everyone says the first expansions are the jank ones.

Guess who chose to forgo sleep and play 8 hrs of destiny straight just so I could record this seasons cutscenes before the game goes down for maintenance? what a way to spend my day off.. I have regrets, although knowing me this was inevitable.

one thing i didn't expect is that learning how to draw bg3 dragonborns has actually made it easier to draw mechs and vice versa

like fr it's just abt fitting basic shapes together. cube logic.

sure, sex is pleasurable and fun, but do you really think doing the nasty in the middle of a haunted house is smart? there's a murderer out there and you're taking off your clothes which is REALLY ill-advised. you could get tetanus! you seem to be under the impression that you're in a romcom or softcore porno, not a horror movie, and that's a lethal mistake to make.

I was gonna try to dispute that cus y'know #ace ... but honestly in a horror movie scenario where i 100% would die first it's probably fitting lmaoo I'd be the himbo jock archetype that dies early to tip the protag off that there might be a killer afoot

So back with an update on trying to set up commissions! After many a phone call with paypal they still sadly will not allow me to use their service. SO! I’ve been browsing around for other options! My brain is completely melted from reading through so many different tos’🙃

Ones I’ve seen a lot of people use are ko-fi, venmo, and square(<-idk how it works with only digital goods tho or it’s accessibility internationally ) also I’ve seen stripe around but not overly recommended… they’re also kinda sus and I don’t wanna deal with paypal by another name type shit y’know

I should make a poll to see what people feel most comfortable using. Help me come to some sort of conclusion since I’m at a standstill rn…
