my hot take is that bouncy is horseshit and everybody just loves the chorus because every verse sounds absolutely horrible and on the rare moment that it would sound good otherwise their voices have been altered to the point of sounding like robots

#I hate auto tune being turned up to 1000 when you just KNOW the song would sound good without that metallic ringing sound #Like if you are going to alter your voice so heavily at least make it purposely so like daft punk/kanye/etc were known to do #exo lotto is a good example bc they don’t usually sound like robots but ig too many people thought they were fake or whatever #so they probably went oh fine you think we can’t sing? take this instead then. and then you listen to any of their other songs #which isn’t to say they NEVER correct their voices like Heart Attack is right there but for the most part it’s not that extreme ykno
