gender is like pokemon. most people only know charizard and pikachu and when i say i like the ultra beasts my mum doesn't know what that is
#it felt exactly like trying to explain why i as a nonbinary person clicked the “mr” option#i told my brother that i really like blacephalon once and he said “isn't that a digimon? that sounds like a digimon”#instead of describing my gender as masculine feminine or neutral i'd describe it with pokemon#pokemon that share the same vague vibe of my gender are#blacephalon#stakataka#sigilyph#male frillish#porygon-z#i started listing pokemon then realized that i can just keep going#and i'm going to#krabby#parasect#shiinotic#araquanid#lurantis#magnezone#all 3 stages of the alola starters#exclusively the titan orthworm#bulbasaur#ivysaur#venasaur#(separately as opposed to the alola starters)#roggenrola only because is fun to say#this isn't just a list of pokemon i like but the ven diagram is almost a circle#almost but very distinctly not#i don't like sigilyph that much but it's easily top 5 gender pokemon#and xurkitree is literally my favorite but not gender at all#ok that all of the gender ones off the top of my head

Hey, it's me again! I was just wondering, how can I get Ceruledge fairly early in SV? (I have both games but I started off with Violet first.) My Pokémon are currently in their level 20's and 30's (LVL 30 exclusively for my Floragato as of writing this) and I'm still fairly early in SV only being on Titan Orthworm who I haven't fought yet. I was thinking that, if I evolved Charcadet into a Ceruledge, she could help the team gain more of an advantage. Mind giving me some tips? ~Strike anon~
If you enter and exit the entrance to Zapapico from the East Province (Area 3), Sinistea can spawn and you can defeat them for the chips they carry. I ran around a bit left and right looking to see if one spawned before going back into town, waiting a second, then reentering the route.
I looked by the tree on the right side (facing out into the route) and the hill on the left side cause they liked to spawn there for me. It wasn’t too hard of a grind, took maybe about an hour/hour and a half.

OH YEAH how's progress on Violet so far? Thoughts on Arven now?
I've been progressing a lot in Violet now!! I'm halfway through all 3 story lines. I really like Arven and his story line is definitely my favorite (i would probably work on it exclusively if there wasn't such a large level difference between Orthworm and the next titan). I'm dedicating a lot of my time to the game now so I hope I can finish it soon :)

Since I’ve built competitive versions of all new fully-evolved Pokemon (except for some Violet exclusives), I decided to do a second playthrough where I use an RNG to determine the order of Gyms/Titans/Bases.
Here’s how I arranged the list before randomising, in case anyone else wants to do this:
Early: Cortondo Gym Artazon Gym Levincia Gym Cascarrafa Gym Klawf Titan Bombirdier Titan Orthworm Titan Dark Team Star Fire Team Star School
Late: Medali Gym Montenevera Gym Alfornada Gym Glasedo Gym Great Tusk Titan Dondozo/Tatsugiri Titan Poison Team Star Fairy Team Star Fighting Team Star School
I split them into Early and Late since the later ones require tons of grinding if I have to do one of them first, and one of the gyms isn’t even accessible without glitches until you get one of 2 or 3 powers for Koraidon/Miraidon. I also added School for fun.
Here’s the randomised order I’m doing:
Levincia Gym Artazon Gym Fire Team Star Klawf Titan School Bombirdier Titan Cascarrafa Gym Cortondo Gym Dark Team Star Orthworm Titan - Great Tusk Titan Dondozo/Tatsugiri Titan School Poison Team Star Montenevera Gym Alfornada Gym Fighting Team Star Glasedo Gym Medali Gym Fairy Team Star
Amusingly, the first 4 things are on the east side of the map - so what I’m doing is doing those eastern things, flying back to School, then doing 4 western things. Orthworm afterwards breaks the pattern but I still find this amusing nonetheless.

Clover's Path of Legends Headcanons
During Uva Academy's Treasure Hunt, Clover exclusively focuses all of her attention on helping Arven gather the Herba Mystica. Here are her experiences:
Clover takes down Klwaf and Bombirdier very easily. The titans were no match for her Corviknight and Toxtricity respectively.
Titan Orthworm proved to be a challenge, but luckily a Fire Blast from Clover's Dragapult knocked it out.
Titan Iron Treads was a formidable opponent. Clover had to get creative by using a combination of Dubwool's Cotton Guard boosted Body Press and Dragapult's Fire Blast in order to win.
Dondozo was a breeze thanks to Meowscarada's Flower Trick, and Titan Tatsugiri was taken down by Clover's Sylveon.
Arven was impressed by Clover's battling skills. He asked Clover why she's helping him instead of doing the Gym Challenge.
Clover explains to Arven that she already did the Gym Challenge back home in Galar. She tells him that even though she loves the fun of battling, she doesn't like the spectacle behind it at all. Fame is not her forte.
