Origin’s King and Lipstick’s Luna Release Gold Star Portal Song “Your Eyes″

After gaining attention as a fan favorite couple on the special We Got Married Summer Season as husband and wife, King and Luna have released a collaboration single through Gold Star Portal. The track is a detour from what fans may expect from the pair who are both rappers in their groups. Both Luna and King’s vocals are showcased in the song. “Your Eyes” is a romantic track with sweet lyrics that will please fans who have missed the two since their virtual marriage on We Got Married. The song was co-written by both King and Luna and produced by King.

Lipstick’s Luna's mother passed away on the 2nd

Lipstick’s maknae Luna’s mother sadly passed away on the 2nd due to further complications of advanced Alzheimer. Pakpao Champoo was diagnosed around 2013, at the age of 41. In Thailand, she was shuffled between a couple of great nursing homes, causing a ruckus at one countless times due to her confusion about where she was. Luna then decided to move her mother to a more modern and overpriced hospital, paying for a 24 hour care and two nurses, since she couldn’t be around all the time due to her schedule.

She finally hit near comatose state, roughly three year after her diagnosis. The doctors said “She had no idea whom Luna was, but her face would light up upon seeing her, on the occasions when she registered what she was seeing. At that point, she couldn’t speak, but she appeared happy to be around her. Luna was with her mother a couple of hours before she died, but didn’t seem to know she was her daughter at all. After agreeing with the family, her body will be sent towards Alzheimer research.”

BC Entertainment released a letter wishing condolences for Luna and her family and asked for privacy about this matter.

LIPSTICK's Luna opens up about her struggles in 2016

During SBS Young Radio show, LIPSTICK’s maknae Luna opened up about her recent problems regarding hair and weight loss. The main dancer mentioned that while she was always on the skinny side, she started losing a lot of weight when studying for acceptation exams in Seoul University, stating that she feared not making it trough the Medical School exam because of LIPSTICK and LIP GLOSS schedules.

“- Lip gloss started promoting two weeks before the exam so not only we had crazy calendars filled with practice, recording and variety appearances, I also had to use what I had left from my day to study. I always used the car rides as an opportunity to sleep, even for a tiny bit. Some days I only managed to take a nap of 40 minutes.”

But Luna said that it gave a tool on her health as well, and confirmed the rumors that she was actually wearing a wig during Lionheart promotions.

“- My hair was already frail, since Hoot! promotions I started bleaching it and because I really liked how blonde looked on me, I asked them to bleach even more every comeback we had. At some point my blonde hair became my signature and BC kept bleaching it even more. But combined with the stress I was living with , the pressure and how badly I took care of my own health, one day I was running my hand trough my hair and when I took it out, I saw tufts of it my hand, and it never ceased to stop. I  thought I was going to be bald, and for someone with only 19, this can really shakes your confidence. BC decided that I should use a wig for a while until my hair could get it’s healthiness back.”

And the decision of dying her signature blonde hair to a much audacious color wasn’t just for looks, as it seems. The hairdressers in charge of Lipstick and Lipgloss at first wanted to give her pastel pink hair, but she pleaded for them to not do that since it would need even more bleaching.

“- Although this auburn color is harder to maintain because I have to dye it constantly, I think it’s much more worthy because my hair is at least in a healthy state right now.”

Knight's Daesung and Lipstick's Luna are the new ambassadors for luxury brand D&G

The 32-year-old Italian luxury brand handpicked LIPSTICK’s Luna and KNIGHT’s Daesung as it’s ambassadors for their newest collections. Jacques Yang, managing director of Dolce & Gabanna International, recalls that when he first saw the pictures of them, he was taken back by their effortless yet captivating edgy visuals. “It was like ‘Wow!’,” Yang says. “They looked edgy but cool at the same time. Their images fit well with the brand and they’re also adored and popular figures within both younger and older audience. ” The director couldn’t stop the compliments on both of the good-looking idols, both which come from groups that are famous for their no-visual-hole status. As the faces for the new campaign, Luna and Daesung are also a way for the brand to approach a wider audience. The world of high-end brands can appear as a little too serious and boring sometimes, Yang says, and these two made it more approachable. “It’s a way to energize the world of D&G. You can be young, you can be edgy and you can still like Dolce & Gabanna. They totally achieved the task. It has actually made older people look at our newest collections with a fresh perspective and boosted us in a very interesting way.”
