i LOVE hosting i don’t think u understand i spent my afternoon gathering supplies and now im Ready for a festive mocktail party with my friends !!! I have a cheeseboard, grapes, bread and oil. i have it set up so they’ll come in an immediately be handed a drink. once everyone is here i have a little present for each of them. after that we’ll go upstairs to the kitchen for the snacks & more drinks & conversation. i have candles burning, the fireplace is on, everything else is lit by christmas lights. music is playing. i am Ready

#ljs life #i set the time as ‘seven ish’ so i probably have a few minutes before people arrive #but i am so Ready im excited i love hosting #once i have my own place i will host So Much More #currently i like. my parents are at an unrelated christmas party so i was like ‘vibes this space is mine now’#also all of the mocktails are my own recipes and im very pleased with them #i have one im calling Leftover Crumble which is basically a spiced sparkling apple juice (like a cold cider)#and then one that I don’t have a name for yet but it’s ginger beer with citrus & rimmed with honey + sugar #I might just call it ‘sweet & sour’ idk #and then my last one is variant on another mocktail i created that I call Original Sin which is sparkling apple juice with lemon #and then you add a shot of pomegranate juice to change the colour it’s very fun #except this one im calling Naughty List and you add a shot of cranberry juice instead #and bc I somehow don’t have shot glasses rn but I do have some mini cocoa mugs #I am using those to make it even more on theme :))#literally buzzing i love doing stuff like this
