Oh hey hey hey, the first chapter of my Voices-centric fic is up!

The Long Quiet is gone, but the Voices remain. This place still cannot hold a fragment of a concept, but even as they all try to figure out where to go from here, they begin to become something more than simply fragments, and to become full, separate people with their own bodies. If they can just figure out the process, maybe it can even go... somewhat smoothly.

In which the Voices develop a body of their own and then new bodies keep showing up and splitting them apart. Then they have to contend with the mortifying ordeal of being individuals increasingly alone in own their heads, and also fully-realized beings who go beyond their simple one-word roles, and also have to talk to each other out loud or something? Sounds fake. ANYWAY, this will contain shipping between some of the Voices; the definite and most major ones are Contrarian/Hero and Cold/Paranoid. It will also contain trans headcanons. This is a Voice of the Hero POV fic taking place after the Stranger variant of the "And? What happens next?" ending.

Hey, just came to say that I love- no LIVE for your gorgeour both nsfw and sfw artworks. Seriously. Also wanted to ask why you see some characters as bottoms and tops. For instance Hitch. She's always so teasing and carefree and takes it easy which is why I sometimes think of her as a top (not necessarily in sex). Annie is tough and serious, yet aloof and shy so I get why she's depicted as both a top and a bottom. So what are your reasons to draw characters the way you draw? Ryui-sensei?

I mentioned in this reply that the main deciding factor for us is the initiative: if a character lacks it or would rather wait for another person to make a move, we tend to sense bottom vibes from this character, because this is the type of bottom we enjoy in ships. There are exceptions and other factors of course and it’s very subjective to our tastes of course.

While the top/bottom distinction isn’t as prominent in w/w ships for us, Annie feels like an obvious bottom because, well, like you said, she seems aloof and maybe even strict but she isn’t really pushy. She feels like someone who’d maaaaybe try to flirt and provoke, but give up pretty quickly because she doesn’t really want to be the initiator that much. She’d respond to flirting and other things though, in her own way of course.

With Hitch though, I agree that she’s more of a “top” than Annie because welp yeah she has more initiative and she’d tease and flirt more openly, but I feel like she enjoys being taken care of, so she’d gladly let someone else top if she could. She doesn’t mind either way though.

Levi lacks initiative too. I say it every time these two are mentioned in the same post, but damn it Levi and Annie are so similar in a lot of ways hahaha. He just feels like someone who would let his lovers do whatever they want to him. Of course, there is also an aesthetical aspect to this: I just enjoy seeing small Levi under another person’s huge body. In fact, aesthetics is a very important reason.

Eren, Erwin and Zeke are all super stubborn and somewhat aggressive. They know what they want, they’re used to getting what they want. And it’s very fun and amusing for me to see them as someone who is obsessed with Levi, each in his own way. But all three of them are hungry for him. They approach him differently, and Levi responses differently to all of them, but the top/bottom dynamic maintains.

With Jean and Reiner, it’s the same: initiative + aesthetic. When I saw shivering mess of a Reiner in ch.99-100, his fate was decided.

And with these two, seeing them being all tol and still blushing and being pushed around. Their attitude, no matter how sassy it is, is very easy to imagine breaking down as soon as you push, which is what also makes them bottoms for us. Same goes for Levi, he’s very hard to push though lol which doesn’t really mean anything because it won’t stop his tops.

more western au headcanons bc for some reason im way too invested in this now

-its a crazy for you reference. but also a fanciulla del west reference. and theres some various anime jokes thrown in too. anyways what is this au even

-my self insert spent time in the west? maybe as a kid? but currently lives in the city. but news reached her the saloon she had memories of the music at was going to be demolished or something since no one bought it and the band there was fired/let go recently, so she pulled some strings and was able to purchase it. so now shes on a journey to go west and bring music back to it. shes a little stubborn and wants it to be like how she remembers it, and all the while self deprecates about how she’ll never be as good/the same as her childhood favorite group there but as things progress she learns confidence and to not be a little shit about this. and that confidence inspires confidence or at least if ur not a dick it should

-is extremely clumsy on her feet but surprisingly not terrible at like hoedowns/square dances. i mean my favorite dance is ball of yarn and that line dance one (virginia reel or something maybe? i dont remember the title) and i feel like both fit the setting

-is currently staying in the restaurant audrey works at. she helps do the dishes and clean up and whatnot but audrey still thinks of her as “that freeloader” in which she tips her hat like “yer too kind lil’ ma’am~” and audrey rolls her eyes. why is the person that wrote her such a massive dork. anyways idk this au is weird (i say this like uchuu no kishi isnt even weirder or at least just as weird)

-the crazy for you reference is obviously the going west to help put on a show at some building n music and stuff. the fanciulla reference on the other hand is the card playing. tho its more like card “playing”. bc my self insert is a massive idiot and doesnt actually know how to play anything (except maaaaybe go fish) and mostly just shuffles the cards menacingly or puts them into towers and stuff. but all the while just wants someone with a silly hat or silly hair or both to come in and challenge her to a card game. idk if moz does that or not.

-would absolutely no holds barred save her friends butts if they needed it. and probably would get injured doing it. would punch a train using the power of that demon butler (but actually its cowboys and rap music)
