I’ve never celebrated pride month so here goes nothing.

Hi, my name is Kelsey or Kels, she/her pronouns are just fine, and I go by the label of Pansexual. My realization of me being a Pansexual came around the age of 14. At first I came out as Bi but not to long after I learned of Pan, so it stuck. It’s been a little over 10 years now.

I’ve never actually came out of the closet except to two people but that’s because I never felt the necessity to come out. As far as I’m concerned my sexuality only matters to me and my future friendships/partnerships.

I’m thankful that I’ve never felt like I was hiding a huge burden or like I had a weight on my chest because I was hiding something. That just never mattered to me. Because if someone has a problem with it then whatever, their opinion doesn’t mean a damn thing.

But I give a lot of love and support to the people who are scared or worried about coming out. I just hope that you guys know that you shouldn’t feel like you have to rush to come out. Come out on your own time. But what do I know.
