On one hand yey finally new cloaks and coats (and clothes in general) in Kösem S2, on the other hsnd if they invested just half of that money in a better storyline, we might already have had a third series in the franchise.

#Magnificent Century #magnificent century kosem #magnificent century kösem #like they are mostly pretty and way more detail oriented than the old ones #but there are some like e.g. Gevherhan's blue cape coat that wasn't necessary since there was a very similar one made for Hürrem and Fatma #maybe add the cape to it but then they are very similar #also Atike already reuses a lot of the older ones so why did she need the turquoise one?#there is a perfectly fine one that could have been updated which was previously worn by Fahriye (and maybe Mahidevran)#seriously there was so much labour and time they could have been able to save #and in return also money #especially when they had Safiye's costumes that could have been reworked into new pieces for Kösem alongside a few new one #except for a few ones most of Safiye's very detailed gowns are never seen again #and they must have been expensive as well
