what do you mean by "sometimes" trans women are women and trans men are men?
well i mean sometimes their birth sex matters more. but like other times I'll call them what they want to be called. I mean like I would still think women are adult female humans and men are adult male humans but then trans people are the exception to the rule. but also if someone has transitioned a lot then maybe I would consider that they have changed sex (I mean not 100% but like the appearance at least).
idk I try to strike a balance between being nice & um recognizing what words usually means and that birth sex can still affect life sometimes.

this post is like a 6/10 the bare bones are good love the concept love the run on sentence but i could do better . but i feel like i'd just be repeating posts that pissed me off and that'd be embarrassing for me honestly .but it's just like the needlessly mean posts that go around from time to time, you understand
i think i could translate mean girls 2004 into a screenlife short film about a queer 20something on the outskirts of some big us city who has a mildly popular tumblr blog and lets it get to their head so bad that it turns them into an asshole and they dont even notice it happening before theyre on tumblr like "and honestly these boring fascist bitches wont even read my 150k word long dog motif cannibalism sex fanfiction due to puritanism and democrats and i bet they dont even order for themselves at restaurants anyway" and any time anyone slightly disagrees with them online they tell them to kill themselves

So episode 6 of IWTV s2. My thoughts? Many. Enjoy them, I'll try to make it as coherent as possible in my current state. Spoilers and my mental breakdown below the cut
Fuck this. I cannot wait for a week after this episode, how am I supposed to be normal after this???
So I guess I'll start from the start? The tension is in every word and I get why Daniel's getting afraid for his life, I mean I am afraid for his life rn and he's not even real.
The Dubai scenes, they contrast really well with the first couple episodes of this season. The cracks in Loumand relationship are very apparent now, they can't even decide on what painting to have in their house. And I read a post that was like "season 1 was music, season 2 is art" and it's so true and this means like their relationship is empty i guess or something. Maybe just that it's falling apart.
And the way they began this season holding hands and sitting so close, acting like everything was perfect, ready to fight Daniel and now they sit as far away as possible, fight like all the time about everything and Louis and Daniel (and even Rashid I think) keep on further unionizing against Armand... I think that's just great.
And Armand knowing that they know and from the start trying to spin it. I'm not sure how the sentence "Why do you ask, love?" from Louis is like the coldest thing ever but it just is.
I'll talk more about Dubai later.
But now to Paris. Claudia's diary "Fuck these vampires" - girl's so right (in both meanings of that word btw). Claudia was never really my fave, but out of everyone I feel like she deserves a happy ending the most (not counting daniel here) and fuck, she's not getting it. i know but it still hurts like hell.
Her and Madeleine's relationship is great. Inbetween all the plotting and manipulation and murder this feels like one of the only peaceful things. In the scene where Claudia reveals herself I though that she's like Madeleine's guardian angel. But also an angel of death. But Madeleine doesn't mind and I think that's very important, that she doesn't really see Claudia as a monster - or maybe she does, but it doesn't change what she feels (after all, she thinks that she's a monster)
Then the turning. First Louis trying to convince Armand and him not obeying- as Daniel says "maitre only when it's hot or convinient" (it was hot in the art room btw and it's so not fair that we didn't get to see at least a little more i mean that whole scene was inexplicably so hot and i need moreeee).
But it also reminded me of another post, the "Armand is a willingly leashed tiger" because like yeah, Louis has the power up until the point when Armand no longer wants him to have it. (also Louis persuasion being "imagine me without the burden of her" sucks, like sorry but this hurts, even if you didn't mean it and yes it matters if you meant it. But his later method - aka kiss to shut him the hell up - seems much better.)
Then I got a little pissed or perhaps confused at his "Are you asking or making me?" because we know that Louis can't actually make Armand do anything, not when he is 100 % sure he doesnt want to. Because if he could, Armand would've turned Madeleine. (speaking of, Armand not having turned anyone is pretty interesting, but i guess that that's how it was in the books and it was important so sure why not)
Also Louis' "It's ok, it's ok" here reminded me of "Of course, of course!" and also "It's fine, he's fine, we're fine" and it's just so funny how they all think that if they say things over and over again they'll convince themselves that they're true.
The turning itself was beautiful, as Louis said it would be. Like it wasn't violent, there wasn't fear, no tears. Just love and devotion and I'm so sad that Claudia's and Madeleine's beautiful dream didn't last longer.
Louis not caring afterwards is just another exampke of his dissociative state and I worry about his mental well-being. (All of their mental and physical well-beings tbh)
In Dubai again, Armand finally talking about the erased memories and how they both hate on him for it and they're right. Like what do you mean Daniel doesn't have the right to be angry, of course he does. It's fun to see Daniel delighted about fighting Armand.
But also... Louis asked him to get rid of those momeries (if he believe him. And I, in this episode more than ever and despite my better knowledge, do believe Armand. Maybe it's just because of Assad's phenomenal acting but I believe his words and I believe his tears. Which actually makes this all worse btw.) and that makes the whole situation suddenly much more complicated.
Other Paris plot - Santiago (fuck Santiago) and his coup -, yeah that kept me on my toes for the entire episode. Like Armand says that he was in love and Louis says that he got lazy but I just think he must've been blind to not see it.
I feel like Dubai kinda reflects this (Louis and Daniel unionizing as we've said and so it's like Armand losing his power over his people again) but also. Paris and it's aftermath was the biggest crisis of their relationship, must've been (followed by San Francisco and Daniel I'm sure). But now as the recount it they are also reliving it and are also in a full-blown crisis and i hope this one doesn't end in a fire.
And the ending of it all. Fuck. I was near tears watching it.
The double-date in the cafe felt like a dream, they even said in the episode insider that they wanted it to feel surreal or something like that, like a romantic comedy. And for a few minutes it does. They let you believe that they could be happy. You know they won't, you know that shit's about to go down and everything will end in ruin but this single scene makes you beg, no please, no don't fuck it up, just stay happy, like this, it can be good. And despite knowing what's coming, you stick your claws into this idea of happiness like a lifeline.
And then it hurts that much more when this perfect bubble pops.
I admire all the actors because idk what Armand was feeling the moment he stepped outside but through Assad's acting I felt it too. And as Louis looks around, seeing the world stop, here I know exactly what he must've felt- the realization hits, the betrayl and then the immense worry for Claudia and Jacob portrays it so beautifully.
"He chose." This breaks my heart. Because what did he choose exactly, or better yet, what did he choose over? I mean this is terrible, the trial, but what was his other choice? He calls himself a coward so maybe it was Louis and Claudia and Madeleine or him that the coven would go after. But maybe this was actually the better choice idk.
But like you see the regret in Armand's face in Paris but especially in Dubai and I trust him. I believe him that he regrets it, I believe him the tears and as I've said that just makes it so much worse. Because he chose this and now they suffer for it and he suffers for it too and blames himself (rightfully so), but it still hurts.
And then Lestat. Fuck. I knew this was gonna come (I just couldn't help myself and because of my recklessness saw a spoiler, that he's gonna be there) but that in no way did that knowledge diminish what I felt when I saw him. Because, hell, idk I'm just so excited to finally have him back because I love him but also I hate him and am so scared as to what he's gonna do. He's gonna testify against Louis and Claudia sure but what if he won't? Does he want to kill or fuck Louis? Will his and Armand's past play part in this or is that a box to remain unopened until later?
"You cannot script a hurricane" they said and so this means Lestat will go off script. But to what extent? At least to which it results in burning the theatre down.
The preview didn't help my state, quite the contrary actually. Louis in Paris is scared that Lestat's gonna come. Santiago's laughing. What does Armand feel? Who knows not me, I'm just scared. And excited. I feel like I won't fall asleep for two days after this but it's fine. I'm fine, everything's fine.

Ok...
I need someone in the WW with a gun. Preferably Severus Snape. And I'm not saying he should go and shoot the Marauders or Voldemort. I'm saying that people in the WW are so fucking condescending that I want them to see and understand why exactly there is a statute of secrecy.
I clarify that this is mostly something I see in ff and I'm not sure if it's so much like this in canon. Feel free to tell me.
But back to the point, the amount of wizards compared to muggles is laughable and with the appropiate weaponry wizards are toast.
Also, poverty. I headcanon that the concept of poverty in the WW and in the MW are not the same. People goes on and on about how poor the Weasleys are and, ok, they aren't rich, but with only one working parent they manage in a family of nine? Wtf?
Ok, Ron took his own food instead of buying from the cart on the train, and yes, they used hand-me downs. That doesn't seem like enough reason to view them the way everyone there seems to.
Arthur literally works in the goverment.
Now, lets think about the people we see briefly on Knockturn Alley. They look very poor.
What does poverty entail in the WW?
Lets go step by step.
Assuming you can pay for housing, even if not a very good place, and you are able to afford enough food.
There is no electricity in that world, so that's one thing you don't have to consider. There is gas, maybe, if there are normal ovens. Then water.
And then you have bills to pay for your property.
Then, normally a person would have to pay for the furnishing and clothes they use, correct?
Everything, and I mean everything you own would be used indefinitely.
With no magic things break and clothes wear off. They can also be too big or small. Or maybe you simply don't like them, idk.
With magic everything can be repaired as many times as you need and what you fixed would be as good as new (for exampke, Harry's glasses in the first movie where an 11 years old Hermione fixed them). Clothes, maybe can't be repaired (though I doubt it), but if you are careful, with shrinking and enlarging charms, they could be used for a long time, maybe even by different people. I idk if there is enough transfiguration around for you to change clothes into something you like better. Going by Ron's reaction at the suit he used for what I think was the Yule Ball, I'm guessing you can't (which I find weird, but ok, lets go with that).
Conclussion, clothes and belongings would not be as much of a problem in the WW than in the MW.
Lets go with light, water and gas, yeah?
There is no electricity. You can literally make water appear. The amount of effort required is not specified, but if you had need of clean, drinking water, you can get it. And if you can't afford gas (assuming it's actually necessary in that world), there are spells to start fire, to heat water and who knows if there are actually spells to warm up a person.
Now, lets make thing even more unfortunate and assume you have nowhere to live.
Are you going to tell me that a person wouldn't pull up a Newt Scamander and live in a bag? Hermione charmed her bag in DH, so it can be done. Maybe get a cereal box and charm it to live there, who knows?!
And food. Ok, this may be a real problem, but perhaps there are also ways aroud this. Going and growing your own food it's not easy, but if you can create different micro-climates (again, Newt Scamander), and with spells and potions you can't convince me don't exist, it is possible.
But would it really be necessary? Would a person with magic reach that point when they can go to the MW and use their magic for easy coin? They could go around fixing things with no effort and receive regular payment. They could scam people or rob a house and go to Gringotts. Sure, justifying the money could be a problem, assuming the goblings care. Or they could simply buy everything in the MW and discard Gringotts.
My point, people in the WW would not imagine how things could be if they found themselce with no way out.
Perhaps I'm being unrealistic (even if we are considering magic) and am not seing something or cknsidering other things that would make all of this things too hard to be pulled of. Once more, feel free to tell me.
But lets go back to the gun thing, ok?
Because with all I've read in fanfiction I feel like wizards are portrayed in a way that makes them seem incredibly condescending of muggles while at the same time they manage to remain ridiculously ignorant. And even if I'm going by a lot of what I see in fanfiction, I feel that canon is not very far from it.
So, lets give someone a gun, lets get someone shot, not fatally, so they can tell the tale. Someone should be hit or nearly hit by a car. Damn, make someone get electrocuted. Make them see the effects of drugs.
Take them to a fucking hospital so they may see what its like to break a bone and have to endure a surgery and weeks or even months without being able to use a limb because there's no quick, easy fix.
I have this headcanon that some people in the WW need a reality check.

I mean ... That's basicalyl how finish works
As far as I understand (not a fin)
They have two pronounce that do not indicate gender but levell of agency and formality
One pronoun implies that the perosn/thing has no agency or that the agncy is not optional it's what you use for people because of course their agency is not optional so it does not have to be pointed out by the pronoun
It is also teh more informla one
The other is more formal an also implies agncy. A lot of people use this one for their pets ... tarro cards ... but also for exampke if you run in to a piece of furniture oyu might use this one to explain how there was a sudden case of excessive chair in your way ...
Tumblr media
My elderly father started talking about how frustrating he finds “the pronouns thing” and I was like. Oh no. He had such a good stand on this, he’s been they/them-ing his cishet siblings for god’s sake! Is he regressing?? And he was talking about how difficult it is to remember, and how onerous it feels to expect strangers to keep track of it, and I’m like oh no oh no.
Then he says, “I mean, the problem isn’t the gender thing. The problem is four words: she, her, he, and him. We got rid of stewardess and turned it into flight attendant. It doesn’t matter if the flight attendant is a man or woman, so we got rid of it. We just need to get rid of those. I don’t need to know.”
“You don’t need to know… people’s gender?”
“No. I don’t care, I don’t need to know, and I don’t want to remember it.”
So we can relax. It’s just a continuation of his crusade to they/them the world. He doesn’t want to remember anyone’s gender. He’s abolishing the genders.

Great editing can mean a lot of things, here are some examples.
A. If you want to shake up the audience, do it for a reason.
youtube
The Blair Witch Project is a great example of when film makes created something technically bad on purpose to gain a certain emption from the audience. In the case the editing is choppy and shakey to emulate found footage.
B. The best cut is the one you never see.
youtube
This shows a transtion scene in the movie oldboy which is nearly invisible due to the overlay of the twos scenes into one another.
C. The art of editing is the art of trickery.
youtube
What this means is that the editor has the ability to manipulate the audience via edits without them realizeg. Thia clip is an exampke of how great editig can make quick pacing work for a plot that has taken place over a larger amount of time withiut jarring the audience.
D. Cut in motion, whenever possible.
youtube
At 6:30, The consept of following camera movement to create good transitions is discused and shown as a clip formt he movie diehard.
E. Look at the movie as a series of arcs.
When editing a film you should focus on the different emotional arcs that are throughout to help maintain proper pacing and emotional feel. An example of a dilm with mutiple emotional arcs is Little miss Sunshine which came out in 2006. The first arc is one of the main characters finding out that he is color blind and cannot be a pilot, the second is the main arc when another main character finally makes it to her beauty pagent.
F. Keep tracking the emotional impact.
The most important thing to consider when editing is how your edits are making the audience feel. Make sure to not cut away from an emotional scene to early or linger too long.
youtube
this clip is a good example of this tip and the one previous.
G. Don’t presume anything until it’s all put together.
Sometimes the edit doesn't hit the right marks until it is all put together. Don't trust the exact emotional impact when judging a film not entirely put together yet.

please I cant count how much 2 baddies and 1 porsche makes me cringe in fact any song that mention brand name or car name, just gives me the ick it seem kinda childish or overdone. even lisa song I think shes more good at fashion and conceptual based imagery than coming up with actual flow. flower is more my fave song in comparison bc i can listen to the whole song of jisoos with ease so its more pleasant for my ears to take
money for exampke was harsh to listen to except for that one segment that i think is the viral part of the song "my money moves" and so on was my fave bit. so in a way i do get why songs go viral for just that one part however i wish i could like the whole song rather than just one aspect of it and songs a getting too short for me to fully get into it. sometimes i also find skz music quite harsh on my sensitive ears. i want to love them as a group and i think theyre so funny and adorable / talented to watch as a whole but their songs just dont hit my vibes at all, currently ateez are my main loves but even their songs dont always hit and i think its more so the production (sorry joong i just dont like autotuned vocals in songs ok it only works for some instances not all of them. also im still waiting for more san solo stuff)
my problem with kpop as a whole is generally groups are getting too young thus so is their songs and its genuinely hard for me to find actual need to hard core stan a group if theyre like teens to early 20s bc i have such a huge age gap from them, come on kpop dont be like stale bread... and as older or same age groups go into military i kind of have to find someone else to follow in the mean time or i tend to find im prefering older music than current modern i guess tiktok related music.
my qualm with general music today compared to older music is i think i like how organic older music is or was in comparison, it was more naturally made than a computer made song not that they arent talented at what they do it just doesnt always vibe with me or sometimes the lyrics can be really off when u try to read them in english yet at the same time i get why these songs go viral but its not for the simple pleasures of listening to a good quality song. i think kpop when it sees what someone else is doing is popular someone else tries to replicate it instead of bringing something new or fresh in i actually think its terrified of being too individual and not standing out or not being viral
its kinda why ateez caught my attention and the mfs did just that (if only they had been an older age group sighhhhhhhhhhh) i love their concepts and overall talents oml theyre such an endless group with not having too many members (sorry nct but i forget ur names after the first 5 members ok) like theres often bits of songs i will skip but then i feel bad for not liking the entire song or thinking what i wouldve done or added differently to make it sound a better song or what english word i wouldve switched and so on just so it would rhyme better maybe thats what kpop lacks i like that it includes some random english lyrics but it often make no real sense to me
not like how id feel if i listened to green day or another familiar song where i already get the gist of the lyrics that have slightly better flow than some korean songs theyre not all bad its just not often as hit of a song as they might think it is if thst makes sense? sometimes it do be just the name or face of idol that make the song more relevant than what it deserves peekaboo is good example of nice flow and high note mix so is some of nct earlier songs or even jopping is catchy song as a whole its more listenable than their latest.
sorry for rambling hehe.
Idk but I LOVED money, I think it's better than Lalisa. Yeah I know it's not the best lyrically but it's too catchy, plus the dance is so fun! But yeah, I agree with you a lot. I like SKZ as a group but some of their songs are a bit too much for me. My favorite songs would be Domino, LALALA and Miroh. I think that their older work was better than what they're pumping out. (Sorry but their album with 5 Star was not it 😵‍💫 it was too obnoxious to my taste). Sure LALALA can be found obnoxious but idk, I think it's at a minimum, plus the instrumental is so freaking good! Yes I love ATEEZ!! I think they are a good example of more "unusual" songs that keep it to a minimum. The system is becoming like McDonald's, cheap stuff that don't leave you feeling the best after and takes your money (that's why Wendy's is better 😛). The NCT part is so true 😭 I usually listen to their songs if there is a part that's catchy but the rest of the song can be... well!

100% agree and i do like reading others opinions sometimes as well other times i might browse websites and be like who cares?
fr its just out of hand nowadays ik idol groups rely on their fans for a lot of their success so its basically supply and demand is it not? they supply brief distraction from the problems among the world but fans have to unfortunately pay a fortune to merely interact with them. i mean if u go back to other eras the 50s for exampke elvis concerts used to only cost $1.50 and nowadays if you had to pay a fortune to witness a music group interact with fans via fan call its not worth it for older fans. its such a rip off. id lowkey wouldve preferred the 50s pay even tho it wasnt perfect by no means bc of what was going on at the time. but the way prices are is just obscene. its almost too much in large quantities like the industries are just pushing whatever out people are buying it over and over again. wheres the logic and common sense in any of it? im sure the idols are also going to eventually get fed up with all their extra work that they have to do to secure a loyal fan base but im finding even if i like one grouo its mainly briefly cause im not putting money into their career if that makes sense? i dont feel like i owe them a penny just to be entertained but at the same time theres still pressure to spend on groups and artists bc everyone has to belong to some type of clique to fit in. its like we cant just simply like a song or a group and we cant dislike a song or a group without some type of backlash either.
even hobbies are becoming an overconsumption too in the sense that instead of people doing them for fun theyre doing it for views clicks subscribes and comments.
I agree that you shouldn't have to pay a fortune to interact but at the same time, it's understandable. There are millions of fans for one group worldwide, and they need to be more selective since everyone's trying to meet their idols. It's more competitive than anything. And idols are rarely seen in public if at all nowadays, so it's even harder. And the fifties were also generally cheaper in everything, that's certain, but at the exact same time, it's cheaper because of their current economic and cultural significance. Twenty-five cents was worth more than because of their economy back then, and the pay was smaller because of it. And I generally think the idols and their company aren't to blame because, at the end of the day, it's their job that they're trying to live off of and sustain themselves and the company. I really blame the toxic 'fans' paying thousands and buying hundreds of items to win a fan call, and therefore making it so it's near impossible for others to do so without matching that. Toxic 'fans' who come for people just because they don't like a particular song or group. Hell, some toxic 'fans' come for group members or groups who interact with their faves. Really, it's more of a fanbase thing than an idol problem. And with the extra events, idols knew what they were getting themselves into. It's like any other job, essentially. They get paid and get to meet and talk to fans, who're paying to see them. They get paid to dance and perform and be on their game for a concert, as well as put on a show for their fans and make sure it's a nice environment. It's a give-and-take, basically. Just like how actors and models get paid a lot for what they do, artists do the same things in a sense. I think nowadays concert tickets are more expensive because nowadays people are doing more in those concerts. The venues are larger, they're flying farther, they're dancing and singing all at once, while also doing fan events everywhere they go, it's bound to be draining for the artists. We're paying for an experience, labor, travel, and the staffing for the event as well as the time and thought put into it, and the time of the makeup artists and stylists and people of that nature.
Though, I agree with you. It's not affordable for the average person to go to a concert. Though...It's kind of like going to an amusement park in a sense. You save, and plan, and pay. You're paying for the experience, the entertainment, etc. I feel like at the end of the day it depends on the person. Like you're not catching me at Disney World because that's not my cup of tea, but other people see those crazy ass prices as worth it, and those are the people it's catered towards.
But again, it's still really really expensive.

So now i'm going to teach you something bout capitalization... if white indo european people invented fascism and inequality but also "communism"... jews invented CAPITALIZATION... which is when you CAPITALIZE on soemones elses work... sometimes due the bare minimum but still get the money and salutes! This is why you've turned into a bunch of jews because you can't even distinguish someones hard work from someone ridding the wave pf success of others... like for exampke most wannabe macho mens nowadays...that was never a SUPERSTAR coz you don even understand what that is and be putting middle carders as world champions and still be like yaaaahh that is the top guys.. ratings? Low af... buyings? Not much... basixally living off of the wheel that already existed in there.

Awh well, self care is as always happening, although it is good to actively acknowledge it by writing these blogs.
So after going to bed, when i started to nod off on the sofa instead of delaying it, i found myself awake at oh yes, 2.41am.
So let's see..
It's ok to be afraid, in fact its normal. No one knows what is going to happen in the future. That in itself can be scarey.
I am loving our connection, girls. We seem to be back as we were collaborating, learning together, caring for each other. Thank you.
I wrote a little on my book last night, then adapted what i worked on as i was finding being in front of the computer screen too much. So, exampke there of my listening to my body, adapting myself as i did and doing the mindful writing challenge day 3, which was audio, physical, as well as writing by hand.
The physical movement with stretches and the breathing patterns is reminding me of the importance of body movement. That released some energy that did.
Doing the writing exercise, too, which i did then manage to type up and post before deciding to call it a day.
So young, Ade I hope my writing these blogs on self care is helping you.
Yes, helps you to remember.
Good.
We are all very proud of you MT. You work through the trauma and help us see another way things could be. We love how compassionate you are. Thanks for being open to sharing this with us so we can learn it too.
Absolutely.
I'm going to make a hot choccy.

I've decorated my grotty bathroom, transforming it into a somewhat less grotty bathroom.
This is a temporary cosmetic fix until we can afford to do it properly. (which could be years because things keep coming up that take priority like leaky windows and broken boilers.)
What's hilarious is that I did the flooring and the side of the bath in about 4 hours, freehanded all the vinyl cutting and whatnot and made a lot of dumb mistakes and it still looks better than whatever it was the house's previous owner had done to it.
I have a theory that the last owner was a dodgy builder who decorated this house entirely with excess materials from his jobs. For exampke there's a corridor that is wallpapered with vinyl flooring which we peeled off to reveal a second layer of vinyl flooring stuck to bare bricks.

Agree 100%. You can love someone and yet oppose them when they do sth clearly wrong. In my opinion, if they were together in canon and then for exampke lived together in capitol in au where sej doesn't die, and coryo would still organise the hunger games and do horrible things, sej would surely leave him. That's just who he is - he has his own personality, beliefs and priorities. He isn’t conformistic, weak and can't be reduced to the role of obedient husband
I'm about to say something that might be considered unpopular, but Sejanus did not worship Coriolanus.
Now maybe your reaction was "yeah no shit?", but I've seen so much in this fandom about how Sejanus follows Coriolanus around like a lost puppy, ready to do anything he asks, because he considers Coriolanus a God or whatever.
I've seen more than a fanfiction where Sejanus would just accept Coriolanus hating the districts, and vibe with it, just because Sejanus loves Coriolanus.
Ahem.
I think most of the fandom is forgetting Sejanus literally just has a crush on the guy.
In my opinion Sejanus is 100% in love with Coriolanus, but that doesn't mean he worships the ground he walks on. Yes he considers him his best, most trusted (and only) friend because everyone else bullies him, but that doesn't mean Sejanus is ready to give up all of his morals just to please Coriolanus.
Proof of this is found multiple times in the book:
In District 12 he has a photo with his class in District 2 (with Marcus) instead of the one taken of him and coryo before the Games;
He effortlessly lies to him and doesn't have any regret about it (go king);
Keeps fighting for what he thinks is right no matter how many times Coriolanus tells him to stop;
I'm not saying Sejanus didn't like Coriolanus (I ship Snowjanus and am a firm believer Sej was in love with Coryo) but that does not mean Sejanus' entirely personality was based on liking Coryo. It's iterally the opposite, and in a parallel universe where they're dating, Sejanus would most definetely break up with Coriolanus if it ever came down to choose him or the morals he stands for.
