TLJ fans who refuse to take any actual legitimate criticism of the movie scare me
#ew diversity rey sucks ugh sjws#ella rambles#like im not talking#i'm talking "hey the way it portrayed its characters of color and female characters wasnt the best#as pointed out by actual poc and women#like i enjoyed admiral holdo as a character but#tlj stans dont listen to criticism of her through a latinx pov#who communicate that poe is belittled and treated poorly by a white woman#or the fact that paige was killed off so damn early#or rey and kylo#i don't think many of them understand how disgusting that shit made me feel#like fam if you don't find kylo attractive (me) that shit is scary#weird guy showing up in ny dreams? hes shirtless? were by a campfire?#those images almost give it the hallmarks of sci-fi blockbuster romance storyline#which is why it angers me so much#also the trilogy not meeting up until the literal end of the movie??? tf#also personal opinion but the condensed timeframe is really hard to understand and have character development in#but the tlj stans take it so personally that they refuse any criticism of the movie whatsoever#like you like a movie a lot of ppl had problems with! okay#youre defensive! understandable#but like no piece of media is perfect#and in all fucking honesty no white man is going to write characters of color and women completely and totally correctly#anyway im on my bullshit today#anti tlj
