Meet the Tesla Model S Charging Port

Tesla Motors could've made a boring charging port, but instead they made one that can be opened when you're standing nearby by pressing on the charging cable button. They made a charging port that glows with a futuristic blue light that is easy to find in the darkness of your garage. When you plug in the charging cable, a light around the charge port pulses green during charging and the instrument panel displays charging information. When charging is complete, the light around the charge port stops pulsing and the light turns solid green. If you happen to insert the charging cable incorrectly it'll glow in yellow color to warn you that it's not been plugged correctly. Once you're done charging, the car must be unlocked in order to disconnect the charging port.

Tesla Model-s has a flexible dashboard display The Tesla Model-S wheel controls are powerful enough to let you place the different User Interface components on the side of your preference. In my case I like having the current track being played on the left hand side while having my energy consumption graphic on the right, if you like it the other way around you can change it.
