Here's something I’ve been thinking on recently:

I don’t hate Eve anymore. I mean, yes, she was the person who led to the death of my mother, but she wasn’t in her right mind. And she really did her best to raise me and my sister, to make up for it. At least, as far as I could tell, she really had a good heart. She just went through a lot and deserved better because of it.

And my increased tolerance towards Eve has in turn made me hate Adam more. To call him my foster father would be an insult. I won’t get into specifics, but I don’t think he even wanted to try. We just turned up one day with our mother dead. He didn’t ask for it. And he just saw me as stupid anyway.

But sorry for holding so much resentment towards you, Eve. You didn’t deserve that.

hi sleep deprived elluka clockworker here to announce um i like my world. it's fucked up in a lot of ways and a lot of people in it did horrible things but i was just thinking of. like. the timeline of it all. the fact that so many people had their own stories. each country in each time period with its own customs and things unique about it. each person was a living being and no one could possibly know all their stories as well as they did but each one was someone's loved one and the fact they existed at all is more than enough ummmmm yeah every once in a while i just get Sentimental and this time i don't feel like trying to stop myself. if you're from any of the worlds of the first, second, third or fourth periods, no matter if it was as one of the most important people on the planet, or as some random villager shout out to you. you maybe spent a little bit of those chaotic times existing in the same space as me or maybe not but what matters is you existed yeah bye gonna explode from being vulnerable now!!
