Nicholas Wayland was no hero. No patriot saint who served his country out of duty or honor. No prince to save any damsel. Everything he did, he did because he wanted to. And most of the things he’d once wanted ( some of the current ones, too ) had to do with Jameson. Jamie, Jamie -- sweet summer smiles and a laugh so bold it was bound to leave the weak breathless. He’d joined the war for her -- his sister dearest who’d surely find trouble. He stayed in Cheyenne for her -- her body buried in that quaint house he now lived in in the city’s northeastern edge. And then, of course, there was the fact that he helped this stranger ( though perhaps she would’ve done fine one her own, but alas Nicholas was the overprotective sort of brother ) by dragging her behind a wall, pressing her there, before she bumped into something far worse than he; something far worse than a man who lived in the grey area. Raiders. Despite hating this -- the proximity with a stranger, the touching, the everything --, he did it. Why? Because her blue eyes and brown hair made her look oh so familiar, oh so much like his twin that Nicholas just couldn’t help it. Gritting his teeth to keep the discomfort from being overbearing, he whispered a single, rare word ( he didn’t do much talking ). “Quiet.”

Today was a good day. It didn’t take much to make the small blonde come to a decision about what kind of day it was, but she always decided by the peak of the afternoon. Her reason for today’s optimism was of course simple as anything; having been waved at and smiled to by some of her fellow camp mates and therefore causing a warm sensation to start bubbling in her heart. Only solidifying the truth -- that the smallest thing could make the girl smile. Someone had to in a world full of downfalls, right? Her walk to Springhill Suites was joyful with an added pep to her step and even better, she didn’t cross any walkers on the way over. When she wasn’t doing her job within the Capitol, you could almost bet the blonde was out exploring or with any of the people she had chosen for constant company these days. Today she would visit a girl she hadn’t quite won over, but was definitely determined to. A pleasant smile crossed her features upon realizing that she wouldn’t even have to ask a guard for her location as the brunette appeared from the entrance. “Hey!” She shouted, bouncing over.

obviously, he has a massive schoolboy crush on his wife, evelyn. though hes always had crushes on people (from school, from the movies, from magazine covers), as soon as he saw evelyn he knew she was the one. he’s never looked away from her. hand on his heart, she’s his soulmate.  @eviemarlow

👀…someone my muse likes, but doesn’t trust. 

he finds it awfully hard to trust anyone outside of his very inner and secret circle. someone he likes is janicka. she’s a funny girl, whom he can see himself caring for in a bigger brother kinda way.. honestly?? anyone who looks like they need a big brother sorta thing - he’s there for you.

his brother galo - sibling rivalry is one thing but the hatred which has consumed galo is something else. the jealousy, the way he always picked up women.. and the fact that their middle brother fausto caught all the attention of their father, didn’t help.
