every time I reread The Isle of the Lost, I mourn the fact that we never see mad scientist carlos in the movies
#I KNOW that when showing the classes and academics it made sense to focus in on Evie bc of her character arc#but where is my loser nerd carlos#“tech whiz” and we see him use a laptop twice and 3D print something. riveting#let him invent things and fuck shit up and break ethics codes please#I like the idea of carlos and evie becoming academic rivals once carlos realizes he's losing his spot as the smartest of the four#evie and carlos teasing each other over getting non-perfect scores while Mal and Jay are just happy when they actually pass a test for once#carlos de vil#the isle of the lost#descendants
