In RF4 I was planning on playing as Doug, but after changing Frey's avatar is still there. I went into settings to turn it off but then I couldn't see the expressions of anyone else. How should I deal with this?

I hope it’s all right that I’m answering publicly, because I’m sure there will be other people wondering the same thing.

Unfortunately, there is no way.  Changing your appearance only works for the gamesprite, not the avatar during conversations.  Turning off avatars means EVERYONE’s Avatars; it’s all or nothing in that sense.  I’m sorry I haven’t a better answer for you.  (Believe me, I sympathize; it would have made a Doug/Dylas wedding so much more LOLsome!)  I’m afraid we’re stuck for it.

We can only hope that if and when RF5 is ever developed, they’ll take that into account… (/unsubtle hint!)

well part of the issue is sev likes their relationship as it is and he's not one for romance in the traditional sense--he does think it's silly and kinda gross after all (because he's an actual 12 year old boy lol). so it takes him all that time to realize, at that point, their relationship won't change just cos he gets a ring and legal documents to "officially" recognize it.
