i never stop thinking about the canonical reasons for bumblebee’s name being bumblebee. there’s a spectrum of reasoning from “oh okay that makes sense” to “that’s fucking insane” and all the way in the “that’s fucking insane” corner is tfa straight up going “yeah he’s called bumblebee because sentinel prime called another kid wasp for his stingers and when bee tried to do the same maneuver he fucked it up really badly so sentinel just called him Mistakes Boy for the rest of his time in autobot camp. and that’s his name now” LIKE WHAT THE FUCK LMAO
