one of the worst feelings is when u prepare food for everyone and then serve it to them, and it’s so clear that no one likes the food. it’s like a slap to the face, it’s just the worst.

#the food in question was mexican rice with beans btw #and then I made a side of groundnut tomato sauce to pour on top #everyone acc left some food on their plates n some could barely finish half #ffs it wasn’t even that bad #it wasn’t bad at all actually #a bit underwhelming #but not BAD #this type of shit makes me never want to cook for my family ever again
