11 Questions Tag Game

Rules: repost with the rules, answer the 11 questions, make your own 11 questions, then tag 11 people.

Knowing me, I got around to doing this WAY late. But hey, I still got it done! Because I waited so long I got tagged twice, so I’m going to answer 22 questions and create 11.

Thank you so much to @agarotado27dejunho and @bokulikescomics you two are amazing and doing these are so much fun! Huzzah for tag games!

Here we go: 1) What was your favorite book you read this year? I loved The Raven Boys (I haven’t finished the series so I’m not sure which is my favorite yet!), and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

2) What are you the most excited for in the moment? I’m super excited for this next year, as weird as that is. As long as I can actually create changes in my life instead of watching my problems consume me as I slowly become more and more helpless (hahahha)

3) If you could choose anywhere in the world to travel to, where would that be? As terrifying as the bugs would be, I would like to see New Zealand once. The stuff of fantasies. *.* If I couldn’t make it, I would like to visit Australia. I just love Australia. I’m also low-key terrified of it too (just like New Zealand).

4) Do you like your name? love it! It’s kind of nice to have only met a handful of other Kendras

5) What’s a song you can’t stop listening to in the moment? Uhhh well my pump up song is currently Whatever It Takes by Imagine Dragons. As much as I prefer Badlands, Bad At Love by Halsey is in my head all the time right now. Also Sign of the Times by Harry Styles has been in my head? Oh and Greenlight by Lorde! I finally listened to the Cleopatra album by the Lunineers, and I totally recommend it. If you are going to watch the music videos, I’d probably watch them in the order of “sleep on the floor, Angela, Cleopatra” because they are all connected a little bit.

6) What are three things you can’t live without? Food, water, and a sanitary living space. Jk I won’t be smart. The internet, my stuffed animals (hey, don’t judge, I collect), and sugar. It’s got me hooked pretty bad. ;) I mean, fruits are amazing! Look at pineapples and watermelons!

7) Which living author would you like to meet, if any? I’m lucky enough to have already met Susan Dennard (but can we please meet again), so JK Rowling, Holly Black & Cassandra Clare, and Sarah J Maas. Maggie Stiefvater would be super cool too!

8) Are you currently obssessed with a fictional character? It would be a lie if I mentioned just one, so… like all of the Voltron characters (but mainly Shiro and Lotor), the love square of Miraculous Ladybug, Aeduan from Truthwitch, Martin Septim from TES IV: Oblivion (I’m never NOT obsessed 9) 9- Which kid’s cartoon holds a special place in your heart? I don’t think this counts, but Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper is something I LOVED as a child, and I can still remember all of the songs. (Yep. I was one of those kids)

10) If you could have any book due to be published within the next three years in your hands right now, what book would you choose? The rest of the Magisterium series!!! Please!! Also Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard. The book is set up to be AMAZING. It’s the third book in the series (Truthwitch was the first) and I’m actually crying thinking about how perfect it’s going to be. @ Susan Dennard (lol but not really) I need your book now.

11) What’s one thing about you that usually surprises people???? I don’t know that I surprise people? I guess if you only knew me from a large-group setting, you would be surprised how loud I am in a smaller group, and how I ramble on forever, never shutting up. Kinda like this entire post

1.5) What is the most evil thing you’ve done in a The sims game? I’ve never played one, sorry. I was ruthless in Thrillville and Zootycoon, though.

2.5) What are the top three things you want to learn? How to create digital art, how to knit and sew (I only tried once when I was nine), and how to keep up with not procrastinating (I usually crack day two).

3.5) How likely is it for you to wake up early by yourself? If I’ve been getting consistent sleep, and have been waking up at the same early time everyday because of my alarm clock etc., (odd mix) then I’d say pretty darn likely! I can’t trust myself to do it consistently, though.

4.5) Any specific card games you like? Spoons is a favorite! I play solitaire on my phone a lot, but I wouldn’t choose that in person. Apples to Apples is great, but Uno wins over that 110%. Uno is amazing. I played it once with an acquaintance (a friend of a friend) who was 16 when I was 11 and I totally wrecked him. It’s been years, but I actually ran into this person again and he remembered. It was hilarious. Then there’s War, which is either super fun, or ridiculously boring. I played a 3 hour game of it about a month ago. It was so intense. I got my friend down to just one card, and it happened to be an ace. Then she won all of the cards back until I had just three, then I won half of the deck back. Then I got down to five cards. I was maintaining them, and making very small gains. My friend got bored so she shuffled everything up so I lost. I’m a bit bitter, but I figure at least I didn’t go out without a fight. I’m also super competitive (but my friends will never know, I like to secretly hope to win. I can’t handle rude people, and showing you want to beat someone is Rude™ lol)

5.5) Do you enjoy swimming in cold water? I’m a swimmer, so I have to. Every day I jump into a freezing pool to swim, and it often takes 200 yards to warm up and get used to the temperature.

6.5) Is there any random word you know in a language you don’t speak? Okay, this is really weird, but I do know “kurejitto kādo” which means “credit card” in Japanese because one time when I was little, my dad went to Japan for a business trip, and when he came back he told us that he found that asking if they take credit cards was the most important phrase to him overseas.

7.5) Are you good at Monopoly? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I’m glad you asked. I am a queen at Monopoly. I make Donald Trump look like a broke college student.

8.5) When was the last time you pet a dog? Approximately 15 minutes ago. I have the bloofiest boy.

9.5) Are you good at imitating voices? I’m terrible. I have a couple spot-on impressions, but don’t ask me for anything I haven’t studied. Ask me for a Gollum imitation? I’m all yours. Elmo? Not so much. I can think of tunes really well generally, but when it comes to actually recreating them, I am trash.

10.5) Do you practice any sports in your free time? Sports are my job practically. If you are fast enough, any college will take you for free. So I try my best.

11.5) Your opinion on math? I love math. But math hates me. I think it’s really interesting and mind blowing, but I tend to grasp the concepts of it slower than other people, and I tend to forget a bunch of the rules.

Do not feel obligated to do this! I just thought this was a fun thing, and I figured I’d spread it to others. Honestly, I’m lazy, so I’m surprised I got around to doing it myself! (No matter how enjoyable it is). I’m very sorry if you’ve been tagged to do this already and I didn’t know or forgot! You totally shouldn’t have to do it again! I haven’t been keeping track of these things. ^_^;
