The art tutorials never cover the things that actually need tutorials (programming) (graphic design) (navigation) (resources) (terminology) (actually telling you the tool they used and how to use it in the first place)

#why is graphic design such an impenetrable fortress #why does every basics lesson assume you have already been working with and know the insides and outs of a programme for a decade #and know all the language #the tutorials exist but good luck finding them without already knowing everything about it #anyways the actual navigating of the programme is the hard part but apparently no tutorial ever made agrees with me #every time i try to learn a technique i get transported back to 2010 surrounded by tutorials on fire #and trying desperately to find someone who will tell me what luminosity is rather than just tell me to set it to x %
