-race met spot at the races in brooklyn and nearly got beat up for being in his territory, but it was still love at first sight for both of them -so naturally, race came back the next day to say hi. they had like a normal conversation that time and settled on a compromise for race to be able to sell at the races but nowhere else. -they became pretty good friends and were still gay pining over eachother but theyre both dumbasses and didn't realize -race told jack about liking him, and jack nearly went all the way to brooklyn just to tell spot to keep his grubby paws off his brother -eventually they started dating, probably during or right after the strike -race still isn’t allowed to sell anywhere in brooklyn 💀 -race got caught in a storm once and spot forced him to stay in brooklyn for the night because he didn’t want him to get sick or cold (not that he would ever admit that ofc) race didn’t want to make jack worry, but he took it as an excuse to cuddle with spot so he did it anyways -race calls spot short all the time. like all the time. to the point where it’s annoying to everybody not just spot -cheek kisses, neck kisses, occasionally hand kisses but they’ve probably only kissed on the lips like once (they’re too panicky and nervous to do it again) -hotshot and jack are prolly like decent friends actually, just because they can bond over worrying for their gay little younger brothers

anyways i am here to tell you that i FINALLY watched s2 of tokrev omg aren’t you proud of me 😌😌 i don’t really have much to say abt it tbh bc i mean i knew everything that happened already you know everything that happened already soo... but i gotta tell you abt the moments that made me feel the most things bc well. i gotta tell someone and my qpp was live experiencing everything bc i watched s2 with them & three of our friends so it’s only you left. okay so first i gotta explain shakey time bc uhh my qpp & i are both shit with ~emotions~ and ~feelings~ so basically when either of us Feels Too Much TM we grab the other by the shoulder and shake?? honestly i have no clue why but somehow it helps with processing ??? well i’m calling whatever that is shakey time. so. too much shakey time in those 4 hours i swear. most notably the whole manila mikey shit (i mean i knew ehat was gonna happen but still 😭😭😭😭) and then on a wayyy happier note izana!! izana <33 and shion and mochi and the haitanis <33 so much shakey time. love izana’s japanese va (idk abt others we only watched it sub so). very happy and i have newfound motivation for sm stuff now help. also do you happen to know who that guy beside mochi was in that one shot where we see him, izana, shion, kisaki iirc, and the haitanis? bc my only guess is mucho. or some random unimportant guy. but like both of these don’t make that much sense. maybe i’m just forgetting smth idk

also i have no clue how the bd arc would do that but i am now going insane over the final timeline?? specifically the final timeline but everyone still has their memories from before the final jump. except maybe kisaki or smth idk but i haven’t figured good criteria for who remembers n why yet. i most specifically need bajitrio to remember bc i think that makes for fun hcs hehe. just kazu & fuyu subtly trying to check for baji’s pulse (or heartbeat) to make sure he’s actually still alive in this timeline n eventually it becoming a habit/subtle sign of love kinda thing bc they do it so often lol. also kazu & fuyu def have an obsession with falling asleep on baji’s chest while listening to his heartbeat. i feel it’d be very reassuring to them idk,, and i think kazu holds baji’s waist 24/7 when they’re the age he would’ve died + older bc there isn’t any injury or scar there (where he stabbed him in the other timeline-) and he sometimes needs to reassure himself that there really isn’t afjkfgjffh

while i’m on that mitsuya repeatedly calls draken in the middle of the night around the time where he died in the other timeline to make sure he’s alive. mikey just makes draken sleep over in his bed and solves the problem with that lol

also. hanma. hanma keeps forgetting that kisaki’s alive in this timeline at first and scares himself shitless every time they interact bc for a split second he thinks he’s going crazy seeing a ghost

Genshin and the smp holy shit. I barely follow mcyt anymore but am still huge on genshin (though a lot healthier now than I was when I was also into the smp) and i just wanted to drop in and say hello and ask how you're doing I guess? sorry if this feels weird in some way I'm just very curious haha

Hi :D! Thank you so much for this message, it’s nice to have an ask like this every once in a while. The dream smp fandom is pretty dead at the moment, probably because of the nature of live-streaming and the time it took place in. The lockdown period still feels like a bit of a fever dream, but I do have fond memories of being in the fandom while it was at its peak. Most of the fan interactions were really fun and it was super active from a fanart standpoint which I loved (although I was on Instagram at the time and not Tumblr).

I went through a small death note phase after that (small as in period of time, it was less than a year which was unusual for fixations for me) and learnt what it was like to be in a small/dormant fandom given the anime ended in 2007. Then I stumbled across Genshin, which I guess is actually pretty similar to the dsmp in a lot of ways.

Firstly it was massive and had tonnes of fan content, which I was so happy about, had frequent drops of new material, and was also a video game which meant fanartists had a bit of freedom to change designs up and make unique character designs (which I think is super cool!).

However, I guess I am a bit sad because as an asexual person I really liked the dynamics of the dream smp, especially found family. Genshin has some great found family/familial content but people focus way more on the sex-appeal of the characters which I something I just can’t relate to. I do like the game and a lot of fan creators but most of the fan things made are centred around what’s sexually arousing to them, which is frequently gay men, and stereotyped and fetishised to hell and back (I’m not sure whether this is a fandom wide issue or a Tumblr issue).

I’m not against shipping, I enjoy it quite a bit, but I think there’s so much interesting stuff in Genshin, like the lore, platonic character relations, mythology and cultural influence, and especially the female characters who tend to get shunted to the wayside in favour of male characters. (I won’t pretend that there isn’t a discrepancy in how the genders are written though, Genshin has some issues in writing female characters as well as other issues like their pretty blatant colourism)

Sorry, this has ended up as quite a long response, but yeah this is pretty much my evaluation of the two fandoms! Genshin is a fandom I do genuinely enjoy, as was the dream smp, despite me being critical of them. I love seeing analyses and will continue to write stuff like this, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

(As for how I am, that is entirely dependent on school haha. I’m in my final year which means lots of exams, but I’m lucky to have some really great friends in my life)

5. RE: BJD Divaz

I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.

I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.

I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.

I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?

If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.

Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".

Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?

The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.

This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.

My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.

8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.

PROS

-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.

-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.

-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.

-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.

CONS

-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.

-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.

-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.

All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.

Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

Hiiiii midnight it’s been a while! I’ve been pretty the air at school is pretty chill rn and I haven’t been as stressed as normal! Anyways I just finished reading the haikyuu manga and none of my irl friends are going to read it so I’m DYING to talk to someone about it while it’s still fresh on my mind (also I remember you saying you read the manga but if you didn’t don’t continue reading for spoilers!) well ANYWAYS the nekoma match took YEARS of my life let me tell you and the cage metaphors and tsukki and kuroo’s battle of the blockers it was probably one of my favorite matches. And KENMA at the end actually having fun ahahah I loved loved loved this match.

And then fukorodani’s match with akaashi was hard to read but the “we are the protagonists/stars of the world” made my bokuaka heart go places but akaashi just breaking was so surprising to see and the fact that they don’t even win nationals makes me sooo sad I wanted at least one team I knew to win nations also

AND THEN THE NEXT MATCH HINATAA the day that scene gets animated is the day I combust someone give HINATA a hug he just couldn’t play for w h a t and then they losttt and he was crying alone and coach ukai and takeda were absolute kings in this scene. Buuuuttt we did get to meet the tiny giant and I thkught he’d look real intimidating and scary but he actually seems pretty cool! The time skip omggg okay yachi saying that date tech went to finals and the Miya twins beat karasuno actually made my heart really happy. I actually read the manga then went back and rewatched the series and started rereading the manga till the end of nekoma match then a week of exams happened and I became antisocial.

Like I was so pumped up for the nekoma match when I realized that was not yet animated and reading the first few pages of the manga was hard cuz my dumbass brain didn't wanna read right to left and interpret instead went rushing through the panels ( hence the re read to savour the storyline and characters) . But once I got into it the match was soo good? Like Kenma really went I don't care you're my friend I'm gonna tear u from limb to limb and did so calmly? I agree with the cage metaphor when he broke through it I was so giddy and I remember Suguru ( Nohebi's captain) commenting how he didn't like Tsukki's vibes and realising that it was same as Kuroo's and hating them both :)

The Fukorodani's match fed my bokuaka heart and was a precursor to Bokuto's 'im a normal ace' part. The tiny giant was kind of a disappointment but that's life for you.. and the kamomedai match man the battle of the little giants - I was so rooting for Hinata but when he collapsed I didn't get it at first but then it hit me and takeda's talk about taking care of body being a part of volleyball and all made me cry. Also Kenma coming to check up on Hinata? Soft. Heart breaking. Cue waterworks.

Somewhere deep inside I always expected Karasuno to win the nationals but they lost and I wasn't even bothered by it at the end

So.. unpopular opinion I kind of don't like Kageyama? He is always being insensitive and a dick to Hinata and when says I'm going forwards or some shit when Hinata collapses really made me dislike him very much. I don't really think their dynamic is healthy so kagehina became a big no-no for me.

But post time skip I loved that they could settle it and work together as equals. But Brazil?! My god, little Hinata become so accomplished-Ninja Shoyou- and the bit abt Kenma sponsoring him, Oikawa meeting him and becoming friends, seeing all these great high school players in the same team- let me tell you Atsumo and Sakusa on the same team with their competitive vibes with Bokuto - man I laughed like crazy at the Bokuto Beam, its so dorky and utterly him- and Hinata was perfect. Is it weird I want spinoff of the MSBY jackals and their shenanigans? I loved how they showed every ones career and Tsukki still playing 🏐 after saying it's just a game - he must have been more hooked than he let on-

daesung’s been skating since early 2014 (quick story: started skating because he saw skateboards on the set for impulse’s debut music video and suddenly decided He Wanted to Learn!), but his first year of major improvement didn’t come ‘til 2019 because impulse’s promotions finally slowed down that year (kind of) and he had more time to go fuck around at skateparks.

but not being ~good~ didn’t mean he took it any less seriously. the moment that he decided it was a hobby that he WASN’T going to drop within a month (shocking!), he started collecting boards and learning how to do his own set-ups, trying to learn abt the history of skating just ‘cause he was interested!

quickly became his second love after music <3 

has always looked for every opening to practice skating. brings his current favorite board w/ him when impulse goes on tour, practices in parking lots, goes street-skating when he can’t sleep at night, etc. obsessed with constant improvement

also likes skating whenever he can because it helps him NOT think!!! that shit is so rare for him, like... his mind moves a mile a minute and most of the time, it’s ~whatever~ but it’s nice to have something he can do that actually gives him some happy static in his brain for once!!!!!!

even though he’s been skating for seven years as of january 2021, most people (mainly fans) still think he’s really bad at it </3 fair enough because all behind the scenes footage of him fucking off with a board is JUST that. fucking off. looking like a fool. and he mainly posts his fails on his social media. but what ppl don’t understand is that you can be a good skater and still eat shit! if you’re pushing yourself, you’re gonna fall... that’s the fun of it. but he just lets his fans (and whoever else) tell him he sucks and that he’s a poser in the comments because it’s funny

honestly not that big of a deal because he blends in pretty well anyway! tends to wear hats (mainly bucket hats and safari hats) along with a facemask, so his face is covered well enough that no one’s gonna think he’s an idol?? even when it isn’t, he lets his hair grow out when he isn’t promoting, doesn’t rly shave unless he has to so the stubble comes out and doesn’t wear any makeup on off-days other than eyeliner so all of his flaws are out in the open </3 just looks like your average scruffy skater boy, esp when he’s hanging with other skaters

ofc he IS still an idol, though, and he DOES still have fans, so he’s been spotted quite a few times. usually really chill about it, will definitely sit and talk with fans if they agree to not go talking about it to everyone. will even skate w ‘em if they skate

what does daesung carry in his skate bag, you may wonder? too much shit, probably. skate tool, wax, extra parts, mini first-aid kit, headphones, portable charger, box cutter, snacks, money, extra clothes, towel, painkillers, shoe goo for quick repairs. used to shove a bunch of water bottles in there, too, but eventually realized it’s more convenient to lug around a 1gal jug of water that he can refill at fountains or... wherever. also used to carry spare shoelaces but now he wears his spare shoelaces as a belt LMAO

this mf makes friends so easily when he’s skating! super supportive, will help people with tricks if they ask or will just offer moral support. not the type to catch an attitude or rage-throw / break boards. just there for a good time

definitely the type to attempt tricks that he has little to no chance of landing and just do...... stupid things..... want to know what it’d be like to push a ramp up against that shed and drop in from the roof but don’t want to do it yourself??? daesung will!

as a result... he eats shit a lot. as i mentioned above, falling is a given, but he takes BAD falls simply because he’s impulsive and likes to take risks (+ wants to show off and is willing to try even if the chances are slim). always has some weird scrapes and bruises going on. acts like he doesn’t know why his joints hurt and then goes and acts like a crash test dummy in his free time

it’s really a wonder that he hasn’t gotten a bad injury yet

doesn’t usually listen to music when skating. has a lot of friends that he skates with and if he’s not with his friends, he’s usually at a public skatepark. the nice thing about the skater community is that they’re SUPER friendly people (usually) and they absolutely WILL talk to you (usually) if you’re giving the same vibes back out, so he likes to keep his ears open for communication

I actually really wanna talk about Rin and her parents, cuz I feel like they’d be really really important for Rumi. If you haven’t caught up on my most recent rants, those three are the family Rumi saves at the end of s9 who I’ve named and decided will be Rumi’s Average Family. As much as the Emperor and Empress of ninjago cared for Rumi, they just. Were NOT what she NEEDED as a grieving kid.

But here is a new family!! One that has literally everything she missed about her parents and their life before the great devourer fucked everything seven ways from Sunday!! Literally they’re just Some People trying to live their lives as best they can. Rin, I’m not gonna lie, is pretty much a self-insert character. She’s opinionated and outspoken, and she literally BEGS the ninja to let her keep Rumi in her room at the start of the Rumi Lives AU instead of taking her to jail. I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for her to be such a strong personality without parents who Also have strong personalities though, which is why I want to be careful about their characters. I’d like to think that one of them is a paramedic or an EMT, someone who’s trained to keep a cool head in an emergency, and the other - WAIT SHIT ONE OF THEM IS A THERAPIST AND GETS RUMI HER OWN THERAPIST!!! And then the Therapist Parent hooks the NINJA up with therapists, and Garmadon and it’s like fuckin Oprah in here. YOU get a therapist!! YOU get a therapist!! YOU get a therapist!!!!

Idk I just. After Rumi gets out of prison, and once she’s living on the lam with Garmadon and Ultra Violet (her gf), I feel like she wouldn’t be able to stop herself from going back to check up on Rin and her parents, these very very ordinary people who showed her basic human kindness for no goddamn REASON. I like to think that the first time she finds them post-s9, she doesn’t even let them know she’s there - just watched through the windows for a little bit, making sure they’re safe, they’re happy, they’re adjusting to their new home. Rin probably adopts SO many animals - all the rats of Ninjago City have names and personalities, according to her, and she knows them all by heart.

Eventually, Rumi pokes her head in every now and again, tho she can’t really do it blatantly. She’s a wanted criminal, after all, and every upstanding Ninjago citizen has a duty to turn her in to the authorities. So she chills with Rin in her room, making friends with her rats, answering questions in either the most honest way possible or with the most bullshit answers possible, there’s no in between. Of course, her parents know the entire time - it’s an inner-city apartment, do you have ANY idea how thin those walls are? But they’ve got a soft spot for this girl who saved their lives, and she’s clearly not hurting Rin, actually she’s not hurting anyone…she walks the evil walk, but she doesn’t really talk the evil talk anymore.

As tempted as I am to make Rumi go from “hehehehehe I’m going to make you suffer >:}” to “am juste. normbal”, it would be boring and unsexy to dull her down like that. Not to mention, is it even POSSIBLE for her to get to where she might’ve been if her parents hadn’t died? She’s not Rin, she didn’t have a Rumi of her own to save her from that, and she can’t pretend otherwise. I think, maybe, she tries for a while - she starts leaving Garmadon and UV for days at a time, crashing with Rin and her parents, maybe considering college? But then they talk about officially adopting Rumi and she just can’t, being adopted again brings up entirely too many emotions and none of them are good, so she runs.

She doesn’t see that cozy little flat again for a long time. She also doesn’t forget about that cozy little flat.

I haven’t plotted everything out yet, and actually most of this is stuff I JUST came up with, so I really don’t know what she does in the interim, but once she’s established a routine with the ninja and is, yknow, mentally and emotionally stable…well, have this:

Jay yawns and rubs his eyes as he walks into the monastery’s game room. “Morning, Rumi,” he says as he catches sight of her on the couch.

“Sup, sparks,” she answers, not looking up from her phone.

Jay is almost to the kitchen before the rest of the scene registers.

“…hey, Harumi?”

She doesn’t say anything, just grunts with a vaguely-questioning note.

“Watcha got there?”

“A smoothie.” She still doesn’t look up.

“Uh huh. Who’s the kid, then?”

“I’m not a kid,” the kid answers automatically. She also has a smoothie next to her on the couch, though where Rumi is slowly slurping hers while watching something on her phone, this little girl has abandoned hers entirely in favor of playing Prime Empire. Her hair is short, choppy and dark where Rumi’s is pale and evenly trimmed. She can’t be more than ten years old.

“Oh, that’s Rin. I’m babysitting.”

“You’re-! Oh, whatever, it’s too early for this,” Jay groans, turning back to the kitchen.

“Jay, it is twelve thirty in the afternoon,” Rumi snaps, finally looking up.

“Exactly! Too. Early.”
