wouldn’t usually ever post my face on social media but I was at omar’s show in birmingham on thursday night! it honestly felt so surreal, I had already seen him in london last year but this time was completely different. as someone who had been his fan right from the start of young royals coming out and even remembering watching the trailer for the show as a friend sent it to me. it has been such an honour to watch his career grow and see him flourish these past almost-4-years. there were times I never thought I’d be able to see him live, at some point I was ready to hop on that plane to sweden but LOOK WHERE WE ARE NOW!!!! he’s genuinely one of the sweetest people and I just want the whole world to get to know him an appreciate his music, acting and even omr beauty.

I’ll stop the yapping but thursday genuinely made me the happiest boy ever!!! 💔

I know I'm risking getting a lot of hate by saying this but I truly believe anyone under 16 shouldn't be allowed at Omar's concerts.

It really baffles me that his fanbase is filled to the brim with teenagers. He is an openly sexual artist, constantly posts thirst traps, undresses onstage, performs all kinds of very sexual dance moves, humps the stage, gets groped by his dancers for certain choreographies, sings a lot about hooking up with strangers and sometimes has downright explicit lyrics about having sex.

The amount of comments (jokingly or not) on some of his posts going "Omar, please don't do that for x show, I'm coming with my parents" annoys me so much. He is an adult and gets to decide what kind of music and show he wants to make. He doesn't owe anyone rolemodel behavior.

If your parents aren't okay with their fourteen year old seeing a man strip onstage, that's very understandable and maybe you really shouldn't be there. Also taking your parents with you means there is less tickets available for his other fans. And we have all seen the ticket war for the February tour.

So yes, I fully stand by saying that there should be an age restriction for his concerts, if not 18 then at least 16.

I love Hoemar and I know most of his fans do too. I don't want him to ever censor himself for the sake of some underage fans. They can listen to his music at home if their parents allow it but they shouldn't come to the concerts.
