couldn’t see me without you, babe ¡! ❞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— synopsis: you’re in love with the it girl of your high school.
— warnings: fluffy, make out session, the most wholesome thing i’ve ever written.
— w/c: 1.9k
— part 2
a/n: credits to @jenctrl for helping me with the kiss scene !
digital cameras fluttered with alacrity as she made her way through the bustling hallways. turning everyone's heads without hesitation. her hair bounced with every step she took. she was as gorgeous as a butterfly, so delicate yet capturing everyone’s eye more than anything.
that was yu jimin.
that was the school’s it girl, as you always said. everything about her made your heart turn into mush and your face turn redder than a smooshed cranberry. those quick little glances she’d shoot your way left you a mess. in the midst of the night, she was the only thing encapsulating your dreams, refusing to leave until dawn.
yeonjun was sick of you for always bringing up jimin; he knew how insanely head over heels you were for her. you constantly told him the little details ranging from quick glances to full blown eye contact sessions from across the room. he swore you were crazy the moment you blushed at the note in your locker that said something along the lines of “you left your key in class; here it is.” your mind just knew it was jimin. only yeonjun knew it was the janitor.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“can somebody please tell me when cubism became a revolutionary movement in the history of art?” yeonjun asked the class as you two stood in front of the class to present your done-last-minute-but-looks-good-enough art project.
you scanned around the room hoping somebody would answer since you clearly didn’t know the answer, having only been running the entire day on two cans of red bull. you crossed your arms, zoning out at the giant window while anticipating the smart kid of the class to answer. you tapped your chin trying to remember if you had anything in your mind since you were the one who wrote these questions.
“1907-08,” a voice spoke out of the classroom, breaking you out of your thoughts. you could recognize that voice anywhere. the way you began to giggle had the entire class thinking if you were having a stroke since you weren’t really the type to even smile in art class. your face lighting up as delusions encased themselves in your mind.
“that’s right!” you yelled out faster than yeonjun could utter out a word, scaring the entire class in the process of doing so.
“of course it’s correct. i’m never wrong,” and there she was in all of her glory, leaning on the door frame with a smirk painted on her face.
you coughed out loud as you choked on your saliva from how intensely she was staring at you and only you. yeonjun nudged you with his elbow, subtly telling you to get your act together since you were being too obvious.
“how may i help you jimin?” your art teacher interrupted. since jimin was older than you and a heck ton smarter than you, it was evident that she was adored by every teacher.
“i wanted to borrow a student from your class for an interview. it’s for my psychology project, and i really need them right now,” jimin spoke, still sporting a smirk in your direction as she knew your art teacher would never say no to her. your heart was doing all sorts of things; dancing around like jojo siwa in karma while also moonwalking all the beats through your body. your palms felt sweat pool in the center from how nervous her gaze was making you.
“take your pick, jimin,” your art teacher offered.
“can i take y/n if that wouldn’t be a problem?” her voice was more giddy than the expressions on her face.
you swore the things around you had stopped moving, the only thing you could hear was your blood pumping through your veins, clearly turning your face red. yeonjun stepped on your foot this time causing you to squeak out loud before muttering out a quick “sorry”.
“not a problem at all. y/n, please accompany jimin with her project,” your art teacher smiled internally, noticing how you turned red, but he was hopeful this could be the start of something new. you quickly nodded, almost embarrassingly tripping over the cord of the projector below your feet as you made your way towards jimin. she eyed you up and down hastily, mentally telling you to follow her to wherever she wanted to take you. you kept your head down as your shyness made an awkward entrance, quietly following behind her. she paid no mind to you until you two finally approached the library. jimin stopped suddenly, catching you completely off guard as you walked straight into her back.
“pay attention, pretty girl,” you froze at the endearment, pinching yourself to recollect yourself out of this dream.
you two made your way inside the library after that little moment, finding a cozy spot in the corner. it almost made you feel as if you were on a date with jimin, with the way she tucked your chair in as you sat down. you truly wondered what that would feel like.
“hi,” you managed to say despite the fact that you were out of breath by just being in her presence. you were oddly confused as you realized she didn’t have her notes with her for the interview until you recalled that she’s smarter than you and doesn’t do her projects the day before they're due.
“so, i have a couple of questions for you. this interview is solely based on having a casual conversation,” jimin paused at your confused expression before continuing, “it’s going to have common questions such as likes, dislikes, etc. is that okay?” she asked you, to which you politely nodded with a smile.
“okay, perfect. first question then. what do you think about museums?” she piped.
“museums? i really like them. i think they capture a lot more than just what was. they hold stories of people who once loved, once hated, and once made the entire world think if there was more to art,” you answered with a small chuckle at the end. jimin simply stared at you, almost in awe with how you formulated your words, especially since she knew that you didn’t like talking much.
“i’ve never thought about it like that! next question, what is your favorite type of flower?” she asked while tucking her hair behind her ear.
“if i’m being honest, i really love the old fashioned roses. i don’t have much to say for that other than the fact that it symbolizes such timeless romance,” you chimed.
“okay how about—wait what’s your opinion on—,” before jimin could ask you another question, the bell for next period rang loudly, reminding you that you had a test today that you totally didn’t forget to study for.
“i’m so sorry! i just realized i had a test today. can we pick this up tomorrow or perhaps, later?” you rushed out.
“oh! that’s completely okay. i’ll see you tomorrow then, or if i run into you later on. thank you for your time!” jimin smiled at you as you grinned before making your way out of the library and onto your next class.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
students had begun to jet outside of classes, piling up in the halls as the final bell of the day rang. you tiredly walked to yeonjun’s locker, filling him in on what had taken place in the library today. you felt the red bull beginning to wear off as all your energy had vanished the moment you stepped out of the test. teachers were heading to meetings they had been informed of at the last minute, causing everyone to be kicked out of class almost right at the bell.
“so, that’s all that happened? isn’t it weird how the questions weren’t the least bit psychology related?” yeonjun questioned curiously.
“well, she did mention that it was an interview based on having a casual conversation, but she didn’t exactly explain it, so i didn’t question her,” you responded tiredly.
“hmm, okay. go get your stuff so we can leave. i need to return this book to the library before it closes!” he yelled as he ran to the library, practically pushing people out of his way.
you shook your head at his buffoonery and made your way to your locker. foolishly forgetting your code before trying again, letting out a grateful susurration as it opened. you grabbed your textbook along with your keys. you were just about to close your locker until you saw a note fall out of the corner. looking around, you swiftly picked it up before gently unfolding it.
“meet me in the art room after the final bell”
without even hesitating, you shut your locker and trudged to the art room only to find it locked. you opened the note again, which you had shoved inside of your pocket, to check if you were at the right room. you clicked your tongue as you waited for something to happen or somebody to at least open the door. you noticed how the hallway had gotten so eerie. the atmosphere of the hallway almost forcing you to get going until you suddenly felt somebody tug roughly at the back of your collar and pull you into the art room.
it was jimin.
“hi, y/n,” she shyly smiled at you as you stared at her in surprise.
“hi, jimin. i wasn’t expecting that strength,” you tried to joke until you realized how horrible of an attempt it was.
before you could say anything else, you saw her rushingly dig into her bag for something. she slowly pulled out a rose from her side pocket and handed it to you, not letting you utter a word as she placed her finger on your lips, almost stilling you out of your mind. you blushed but didn’t dare to say anything.
“so, earlier during that ‘interview’ you mentioned you really liked museums, so i got us two tickets to the art museum downtown,” jimin said, taking your hand, gently placing the ticket in your palm, letting her fingers linger along your skin.
“jimin, i-i honestly don’t—you’re the sweetest little thing ever,” you gazed at her lovingly as you tried to gather your thoughts.
“you don’t have to say anything, y/nnie. i just want you to come with me,” she whispered.
she slowly tucked your hair behind your ear that had fallen in front of your face. you two locked eyes before she cupped under your jaw, bringing your lips near hers. you thanked whatever higher power there was for this moment just before you closed your eyes and let her take the lead.
as soon as her lips hit yours, you knew you were doomed for however long you were going to live this lifetime. butterflies erupted in your stomach while your heart leaped out of your chest in bliss. her soft lips continued to move against yours as your hands remained on her waist, pulling her in closer than ever. you two paused softly, smiling against each others’ lips before pulling back completely.
“so, i’ll come pick you up whenever you’re ready, pretty girl,” jimin beamed before heading out the door.
you happily nodded at her, not trusting your words in the moment. holding your chest as your heart wanted to simply embrace jimin and never let her go, you were sure your face was redder than it’s ever been.
“y/n? why are you so red?”

bummerland — luke castellan
Tumblr media
pairing: luke castellan x fem poseidon!reader
warnings: use of y/n and she/her pronouns, ANGST!!!
a/n: we get the tunnel of love episode tomorrow AND THE PERCABETH HUG SCENE IM TOTALLY NORMAL ABT THIS..
masterlist !
꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱
y/n jolts awake. beads of sweat dripping off her forehead and cheeks. she's surpsied percy hasn't woken up because of her reaction to her nightmares. turning to her left, she sees percy fast asleep.
half-bloods always had nightmares. some campers had it worse than others. tonight y/n could've sworn she had the worst nightmare any half-blood could have.
the nightmares weren't new to the girl. they just started getting worse ever since she got claimed by her father, which was three weeks ago.
y/n wasn't usually the angered type. in percy's words, "she has her moments", but she never was angry at anyone for long periods of time.
since y/n the only older camper in the poseidon cabin, it automatically made her a camp counselor. which might explain why the campers were confused that she didn't show up during sword lessons today. her, luke and clarisse were supposed to teach them today. luke and clarisse managaed to help all the campers, but having y/n there would've made it a hundred times easier.
no one really questioned it, until y/n didn't show up at lunch or dinner that same day. annabeth asked percy about it at lunch, and he guessed she was taking a nap, which wasn't unusual for his sister.
however when luke asked percy for y/n's whereabouts, he didn't know how to answer the hermes boy. percy hasn't seen y/n all day, which only worried both of them.
the next day passed the same way as yesterday. not one camper saw y/n. this made percy more anxious, as well as annabeth. luke made it his mission to find the missing counselor.
luke checked cabin three, and wasn't surprised to only find two empty beds. he then checked the infirmary, the big house (minus the attic), the climbing wall, and near the lake. he ran his fingers through his hair, sighing once he realized y/n was still missing in the camp.
luke was about to go back to his cabin ans call it a night, until his heard a noise coming from inside the woods. it wasn't any sort of monstrous sound, which was the only reason luke followed the noise without a second thought.
he continued to trek through the woods as the noise became louder. he recognized the path was leading him towards the archery range. he can't believe he didn't check the archery range on his own.
once the trees cleared, he saw an empty range. until his eyes landed on y/n shooting arrows at the overused hay bales. luke caught up to her as she was walking to reclaim her arrows, ready to shoot again.
"y/n, we've all been worried about you. none of the campers said they didn't see you. neither did percy," luke grabs her elbow, stopping her movements.
y/n looks at luke as if he had three heads, all with smoke steaming out of their ears. "what are you doing out here?"
luke's surprised by her tone. it seemed rush and cold. he can't remember if he ever heard y/n talked like that.
"i was looking for you! i was so worried about you."
y/n shakes her arm out of luke's grasp and just continues to collect her arrows. "i'm fine luke, really."
luke scoffs, and follows her as she walks back to her bow at the other end of the range. "you wouldn't be avoiding the whole camp for two days, you think that's fine? that's the opposite of fine y/n!"
y/n doesn't respond. she preoccupied herself with loading her bow with a brown arrow provided by the camp.
"what, now you're going to ignore me?" luke's hands were on his hips, watching angrily as y/n continued to ignore his presence. she shot almost three more arrows before he spoke again.
"annabeth told me about you having nightmares," luke's voice was much more soft, but even more concerned.
"why didn't you tell me?" he sounded hurt.
y/n doesn't look towards luke, she starts fiddling with the bow and arrow in her hand. she shook her head, and luke didn't have to see her face to know her bottom lip was quivering.
"i didn't want to bother anyone. annabeth pushed it out of me, and i guess she told you," y/n responded.
luke grabbed the bow and arrow out of y/n's hand and set them on the ground, before he took both of the girl's shoulders in his hands.
"y/n you have to believe me when i tell you, you're not a bother to me. you're not a bother to anyone at camp, i swear."
y/n shrugs luke's hands off her body, and went back to shooting arrows down the range.
luke let out a sound of anger, mixed with stubbornness. "y/n, can you just come back to the camp so people can stop worrying about you, and we can talk about it?"
luke sighs again since he knew he wasn't getting an answer out of the girl.
"gods, y/n, will you stop and just talk with me?"
y/n could tell luke was getting more and more frustrated. she knew she couldn't ignore him forever. she throws the bow on the ground, and discards her arm protection. the girl was now fully facing luke.
"go ahead, talk."
luke starts to explain again how worried he was, and how worried the campers were that no one knew where she was. no one knew why she disappeared, until luke got the information from annabeth, about y/n's reoccurring nightmares.
"all half-bloods have nightmares y/n, you know we all relate to you about that. so why couldn't you just talk to someone about it instead of vanishing?"
y/n tried to respond. her mouth opened, but nothing came out. it's as if her voice box was completely removed. she looked all around, trying to avoid luke's eye contact. she tried to speak once more, but the same croak-y airy sound came out.
"come here," luke simply said, before pulling y/n's arm. he engulfed her in a hug, and she was quick to respond by wrapping her arms around luke's waist. he whispered comforting words in the air, as he held her head to his sternum. he believed she was the perfect height for hugs.
luke heard small cries coming from the girl in his arms, which soon turned to y/n choking on her own sobs. he was fast at calming her down. he did it plenty of times while she was in hermes' cabin, he practically knew her better than she did.
"are you okay?" luke asked once he heard her cries soften, now she was only sniffling. he felt her nod against his chest, and he started to rock their bodies back and forth gently.
"thank you luke," y/n's quiet, "for calming me down, and for finding me."
"like i said, we were all worried about you," luke responded.
y/n pulled away from the hug, "i guess i should go find percy and tell him i'm alive."

A new day, a new chance for you to shoot your shot at none other than your vice-captain of the third division.
You were always messing with him. This ranged from embarrassing pranks a grade school boy would menace his crush with, all the way to borderline hitting on him. There wasn’t a single day you’d forget to remind him he was stunning, and you’d always be bragging about him to the officers in the first division, regardless of the fact that you had absolutely nothing to do with the things you were bragging about. Simply put, you were loud about Hoshina.
Yet, every day, he'd brush you off and tell you to get to work. You didn't let that mind you much though, because you could tell he wasn't actually upset. You liked him unconditionally, and as long as you weren't actually bothering him, you couldn't care less if your feelings weren't returned. Well, you did care, but that wasn't going to stop how you felt for him.
Now, you said all of that, but naturally, you were still scared to just put your feelings out there so you hadn’t actually told Hoshina you liked him. You assumed he knew, but if you said it out loud, you’d have to hear an answer. And that, you were not ready for.
However, you weren’t going to stop messing with him anytime soon. Hoping one day he’d actually fall for you and one day you’d have the courage to properly tell him how you felt.
You were in the cafeteria with the rest of the division, having your breakfast while mindlessly scrolling through your phone, when you saw a post about a new movie in theatres. Immediately your mind went to possibly inviting Hoshina and you scrolled right back up, trying to find out what it was about. Horror. You sighed and continued to scroll. Horror was absolutely not your favourite.
“Oh, is it finally out?” you heard a voice from behind you say— your favourite voice say.
“Would you like to go?” you asked, whipping your head back to see none other than Hoshina Soushirou. Just the sight of him and your heart would flutter. How you loved him. “Together? Us? Just us? You and me?”
“Oh, like we have time to go,” he said.
“Man,” you said, knowing he’d say that. The entire defence force in general had been a lot busier ever since the appearance of so many identified grade kaijus. However, it did make you wonder if that meant he would if he did have time. No, he’s just declining your invitation politely, you’d tell yourself, bringing you back to your senses.
You’ve done this since always, and you do this every time without fail. Whenever a new shop had opened, or a new movie to watch had come to theatres, you'd always shoot your shot— hoping he'd say yes one day. Yes to a date.
Although you were used to getting turned down, it still wasn’t the best feeling. Recently, you've been letting it get to you far more than you used to. Maybe after all these times, the rejection did start to have an affect on you. Maybe you were falling for him even harder recently, or maybe you were starting to hope for your feelings to be returned.
Perhaps a relaxing day at the movies was exactly what you needed. Maybe you’d ask for a day off next week— just to go watch a movie you liked.
So you did exactly that, you filed a form to Captain Ashiro, requesting a day off anytime the next week. Preferably on a Tuesday, because movie tickets were cheaper on Tuesdays.
A few days later, you were called over to her office. You assumed it was just to let you know if you could have your day off and if so, when it was. To your surprise, when you walked in, it wasn't Ashiro but rather Hoshina there, working away.
“Hoshina?” you asked, pleasantly surprised. “I didn't expect to see you today.”
“You didn't?” he asked, genuinely perplexed. “But this is my office?”
“Your office? I thought it was Captain Ashiro’s?” you said.
“It used to be, but I took it over a little while back,” he said. “It's just a lot faster for me to do the paperwork.”
“Oh… I see,” you said, rather surprised you weren't already aware. There was a moment of silence.
“It was rather recently that I had officially started working here,” he said, somehow noticing that you were dejected. Oh, how did he always know exactly what to say? You were never going to get over him at this rate. “Anyways, you requested a day off next week?”
“Um… yes,” you said. Now you felt a little awkward about going to a movie alone, and you really hoped he wouldn't realize where you were going.
“On a Tuesday… are you going to see that movie after all?” he asked and he noticed you stiffened a little, so he immediately followed with, “Sorry, you don't have to answer that. You're absolutely free to take that day off.”
“I am,” you said. Half a lie, because there was no way you were watching a horror movie, let alone by yourself. But you were going to the movies. That was true. “It's been a while since I watched a movie in theatres, I realized.”
“I've never gone alone actually,” he said, imagining you were planning to go alone. “Or are you going with someone?”
“No, I'll be by myself,” you said, but instinctively you asked him out again. It was practically in your subconsciousness to do so. “Unless you'd like to tag along?”
There was a long pause before he said anything, and his unreadable expression only made the silence feel longer. You were expecting a quick rejection again, so the silence was absolutely killing you— you hadn't expected it one bit.
“Actually, I'd like to,” he said. “If that's okay with you, of course.”
You couldn't believe your ears. What did he say? You couldn't have possibly heard that right. What had he said?
On the other hand, he had no idea why he said yes. Why after turning you down all these times? Why now? He had turned down every offer of yours because he knew you were just messing around. You didn’t feel about him the way he felt about you. He knew this because you had done this since the moment you joined, and you couldn’t have liked him back then— you hadn't even know him yet.
But still, he hoped you were serious.
“You're joking,” you said.
“Were you?” he asked. This must be why he said yes. He wanted to know so badly— he was rather exhausted of playing the guessing game with you.
“Not at all,” you said. You thought he had known, but perhaps not. “I've never been. Not for a moment.”
“Then, let's go,” he said with his poker face on, but he was a little shaken. He didn't think you were at all serious, let alone that serious.
“Hoshina, is this a date?” you asked, and you could tell your cheeks were flushed. However, there wasn't much to be embarrassed about at this point, so you might as well have asked before you drove yourself insane.
“Okay…” you said, but you were spaced out. You had no idea what had prompted this all of a sudden, but this was the moment you had been waiting for, for your whole life. Yes to a date.
A date? Was it a date?
“Would you like it to be?” he asked. You had no idea what he was thinking.
“Yes,” you said. “Of course…”
“Then, let's go on a date,” he said. “On Tuesday, at 2pm. I'll pick you up from your unit and we'll go and watch a movie.”
It was yes to a date. A date with none other than the love of your life. You were going on a date with Hoshina Soushirou.
You left the office soon after, thanking him as you left, and you were lost in thought. You truly felt like the world around you had stopped, but at the same time, the time passing was a blur. You thought it’d be forever before your long awaited day, and you’d have plenty of time to calm yourself down and prepare, but it had rolled around before you knew it.
You put on what you personally thought was your best date outfit, but you had no idea if he’d like it. You really hoped he would. Now, you were sitting around, waiting for him to come pick you up. It was still 10 till 2, but he was always ahead of schedule— he hated making people wait, so he was always early. A few minutes later, you heard a few footsteps and some rustling outside your door, and you were pretty sure it was him. You waited for a knock, but it wouldn’t come.
Quickly, you opened the door and it was him, waiting by your door with his phone in his hand, opened to your messages with him.
“Oh,” he said. “Sorry, were you waiting?”
“No,” you said, immediately. “I just finished getting ready. Why didn’t you knock?”
“Well, I’m early,” he said. “Didn’t want to rush you.”
Gosh, you were on a date. With him. You had actually never seen him in anything other than what he wears at the defense force, and as much as you liked that training shirt he had on, he looked so incredibly gorgeous today. And this was just for you. He wore a black corduroy turtleneck, and a simple long coat to go over it. You were still so lost, how had you gotten to this point in the first place?
“You’re stunning today,” he said to you as he smiled a little and you swear you felt your heartrate spike. Did he even know what he was doing?
“Not to mean you aren’t usually…” he said immediately. “Sorry, I never say the right things when they count, do I?”
“No, I thought my heart was going to stop,” you said, frankly. This was the way you always were, there was no point in getting flustered all of a sudden. “You’re gorgeous everyday, but even more so today.”
“Well, I’d have to be glad our date is today then,” he said.
While the two of you walked to the theatre, it was rather quiet. Far more quiet than you usually were. Suddenly, you were so nervous, and there was nothing to say to him. So many questions filled your head but none of them felt appropriate to ask. You felt like the spell would break if you took one wrong breath. You wanted to know why he was here with you today. Why he said yes all of a sudden, why he took a precious day off to go on a date with you, and what he was thinking when he said yes. You wanted to know how he felt about you, or at least how he felt about this date.
“I’ll go get us tickets,” you said, as soon as you got to the theatre. “Please pick a snack and a drink in the meantime, I’ll get the tickets quick.”
“Oh, don’t be silly, I’m getting the tickets, and the drinks and snacks, for that matter,” he said. “Besides, we haven’t even decided on a movie yet.”
“We haven’t?” you asked. “I thought we were watching the movie that came out the other day?”
“What? Why would we?” he asked, genuinely confused. “You don’t even like horror." He pointed at another poster on the wall. "Why don’t we watch that one? Romance is more your type of thing, isn’t it?”
You thought you’d cry. If there was one thing that was worrying you about this date, it was the movie. Horror really wasn’t for you, and you weren’t sure if you could watch the movie without showing it.
“How did you know?” you asked.
“It’s obvious,” he said. “You’ve never asked me out to a horror movie, have you?”
Just how did he notice? “But didn’t you want to watch that one?” you asked.
“Please, I can watch that whenever, on my own,” he said. “I’m here with you today. I’d be a horrible date to make you watch it with me.”
“Thank you,” you said, starstruck. “At least, let me pay for it then?”
“No way,” he said. “I’m taking you out today.”
“No, I asked you out,” you said.
“Don’t care!” he said and went off to get the tickets and snacks.
You were in love with him, and you were going to tell him. You were sure he knew, but you had to tell him properly. It wasn’t even that you were hoping for him to return your feelings, you just wanted to tell him.
You thought you wouldn’t be able to focus on the movie at all, but you were, strangely enough. You were watching a cliche romance movie that couldn’t possibly be about you and Hoshina, no matter how much you tried to stretch the narrative, but you loved it. It was a sweet movie, a type that you've always loved, and you were watching it with the one you always loved. You couldn’t be happier.
So as soon as the movie was over, you went for it.
“Hoshina, I love you so much,” you said, and kissed him. On the lips.
His eyes were wide and his cheeks were faintly flushed. You weren’t expecting that, not even for a moment.
“You’re serious?” he asked.
You were confused, did he think you were playing around all this time? “Yes, of course,” you said. “I’ve loved you for forever.”
“Since… when?” he asked.
“Since the day you saved me, 3 years ago,” you said, immediately. It was like you had waited all your life to answer this. “You definitely don’t remember, but I remember like yesterday.”
He wouldn’t reply, but he was still looking at you surprised, so you continued on.
“I thought I had told you this actually. Not the part that I liked you, but the part that you saved me. I joined because of you, Hoshina,” you said. “Yes, you’re my vice-captain and the love of my life, and I’m one of your officers, but you were my hero and I was your biggest fan for all this time.”
Something in him shifted. It felt like someone had woken him up from a weird haze, and showed him how much colour there is to the world. You joined for him. Not for Mina, not for Gen, but him. To you, he was a hero. To the one he treasured most, he was irreplaceable.
“I love you too,” he said, with the softest smile you had ever seen from him. He was serious, you could tell.
“No way,” you said.
“I do,” he said, but he could tell that you were a little skeptical, or at least puzzled. “I love the way you work hard, the way you joke around, but actually care so much. I love the way you give everything your all. I love the way you always smile when you see me— it makes me feel so special. You make my day, absolutely every single day.”
It took everything in you to stop yourself from sobbing, but that made Hoshina laugh. He kissed you this time, and tears rolled down your cheeks anyway.
Wiping your cheeks with the pad of his thumb, he kissed you on the forehead.
“I absolutely adore you.”
Tumblr media
BONUS:
Later that day, you were going to open up the one cardboard box you still hadn’t unpacked. The one filled with your posters and merch of Hoshina you had collected through these years. You were hiding them, because you thought it’d be a little too weird if you had those just hanging around, but finally, they’d see the sunlight. You would never have even imagined this day when you had those in your room, dreaming of him. If only you could tell your past self— just how thrilled you would’ve been. Well, not that you were any less thrilled now.
The next time Hoshina came to visit you in your room, he was utterly flustered, it was absolutely adorable. He couldn’t believe people actually bought the merch they sold of him, let alone put them up— and in the room of his loved one nonetheless. But he’d be lying if he said he didn’t like it, because it made him so incredibly happy.
He was thrilled that you did, in fact, love him the way he loved you.

The Getaway🐦‍⬛
That Kaz x reader hurt/comfort that was voted in by some lovely people❤️
Mildly edited, apologies for mistakes🫶
The wind blew harshly against your body as you ran through Ketterdam with a stolen scroll in your hand. You felt like you were flying. Grinning, you turned towards the man who ran a step behind you. His face matched yours. A wicked joy had you both feeling more alive than ever. You had just pulled a small heist, now it was your favourite part. The getaway.
A few more turnings through the winding streets and you would be at the switch point. There, you would meet Inej and she would disappear with the loot, while Jesper appears and shoots the men chasing you. That was the plan at least…When you and Kaz finally skidded to a halt at your location, you both looked up at the rooftops for Inej.
“Where is she?” Kaz hissed. You looked back down the road you had come from.
“Where’s the men?” You realised they should have caught up by now. Slow footsteps began to echo, coming from a nearby turning. You whipped your head around to see the man you just stole from. He grinned menacingly before pulling out a gun. Kaz clocked it before you did but before he could even take a step towards you, the shot rang out. The scroll fell from your hand and rolled down the street, towards the shooter.
“I’ll have that back now, thank you.” He said, all too politely. Then, he simply walked away while whistling a jaunty tune.
The shock wore off, as the whistling became quieter. Then came the pain. You held your hand against your stomach, only to be met with a wet warmth. Reality truly hit you when you looked down at your hand and saw the blood. All of a sudden you could feel it trickling down from your stomach until it fell in a pool on the floor. You looked to Kaz for reassurance, only to see him white as a sheet inching towards you terror.
“You need to apply pressure.” He instructed. You complied, but each second you felt as though you were fading. Until, you dropped.
“HEY!” Kaz shouted desperately poking you with his cane. “Stay awake and keep applying pressure. Inej and Jesper will be here…they’re just held up.” He hoped they would make it. A situation like this is the only time Kaz feels useless.
Your eyes started to roll as your vision became blurry. You tried to keep pressing on your wound, but your hands wouldn’t listen to you anymore. As your fingers fell beside you once again, you felt a hard pressure against your stomach. You knew you were delirious when you saw Kaz kneeling at your side, keeping your blood inside your body, allowing you to close your eyes at last. Kaz himself was beginning to feel like he was dreaming too. But his dream was a memory. The last time he had pushed his hair out of his face, your blood on his gloves ran up his arm beneath his sleeve. The wet sensation combined with the coldness of your body under his hands was all too familiar. He could almost feel the water choking him once more.
Kaz wanted nothing more than to sink his memories forever. But they kept surfacing to matter how hard he tried to focus on you. A scream ripped from his throat as he punched himself in the head, as if trying to evict the distraction of his childhood trauma. His eyes fell upon your face as he told himself this isn’t Jordie. You were still alive, at least you would be as long as he could keep himself together. He pressed more confidently against the wound at he thought of losing you, his partner in crime. He never expected to trust someone enough to call them that. He had his Crows, but never a partner. Not until you. Not since Jordie. A tear fell from his cheek onto yours as he stared down at your paling features.
He barely even noticed Inej’s arrival. It was shortly followed by Jesper’s much louder one.
“Sorry! We got held up by-“ Jesper froze when he saw the scene before him, then released a breath when he saw your chest rising.
“Shit. We need to get them back home.” Jesper jumped straight into action, less cautious to approach Kaz than Inej was. He took over Kaz’ position at your side and picked you up.
You woke up to a deep ache, causing you to groan and roll over. The movement changed the pain to a searing stab.
“FUCKING HELL!!!” You screamed.
“Good morning to you too.” Kaz’ made his presence in the room known to you. He was sat at the side of your bed smirking at you.
“I take it the men who were supposed to be chasing us are why Inej and Jesper were late?” You asked. Kaz answered you with only a nod, leaving you still concerned for your friends. Your rolled your eyes as sat up, this time sure to move slower. It did not help much, still feeling like you were being ripped open. You felt Kaz’ cane press against your chest gently.
“Lay down.” He sternly told you. You looked up at him in defiance but stopped when you saw his eyes. “Please.” His tone was more vulnerable this time, small like a whisper. You allowed his cane to push you back down, not missing the sadness in his eyes as a groan escaped you.
“I’m okay.” You sent him a comforting smile, which he returned.
“So are Inej and Jesper.”
Kaz had been in and out of your room all day in between handling business.
“I just came to say goodnight.” He said, though he seemed as though he was holding back. You decided not to pry, since you did not have the energy to get blood from a stone tonight.
“Goodnight Kaz.” You smiled. He turned to leave, looking almost disappointed. Then out of nowhere, he rushed back in and stopped when he reached your bedside. He looked deep into your eyes. The intensity woke your drowsy mind as your heart skipped a beat. “You are very special to me. Today was…” He trailed off and looked away. You thought he was about to turn around and leave again, but instead he sucked in a deep breath and quickly pressed a kiss to your forehead. As his lips met your skin, he lingered for a second. This was the closest you had ever felt to him. Not because of the physical contact though. It was rare for Kaz let someone see him feel. It felt intimate. But it was over as fast as it began.
“Goodnight.” He said once more, but this time he was breathless and shaking in a mix of fear and something else that he was finally ready to name.
“I love you.” He spoke. Before you could process the interaction, he was gone.

Opposites Attract (Chapter 2) - a Shigaraki x f!Reader fic
Your quirk lets you capture almost anyone with ease, and you can't believe you let Shigaraki Tomura escape. Shigaraki can't believe it, either, and according to the League, there's only one possible explanation -- you let him go because you've fallen in love with him. He decides to find out if it's true. You decide you won't fail to capture him again. You both get a lot more than you bargained for. (cross-posted to Ao3)
Chapters: 1 2
Chapter 2
It’s been two weeks since the League of Villains vs Kamino Ward: Round 2, and there hasn’t been a single day that somebody hasn’t read you the riot act. It wasn’t enough that Miruko did it on-scene, well within microphone range of every single news crew who swarmed the park – every senior hero in Yokohama got in on it, too. And as if it wasn’t already your worst week ever, the HPSC called you in for a formal review of your pro hero license. You didn’t sleep at all the night before, and when you got to the hearing half an hour early with sweat stains already oozing through your one nice blouse, you found out that they’d done the review already, and the hearing was just to present the findings. One of the members of the committee mentioned that you looked a little pale. In hindsight, you’re amazed you didn’t have a heart attack.
You found out that the review of your license was a PR thing more than anything else – although your choices weren’t popular or flashy, nothing about how you handled the incident fell outside the hero code. Not that it matters to the general public. If you had an agency, they’d be booking you on podcasts and talk shows so you could explain yourself, but you’re underground, so you’re stuck listening to TV presenters who’ve never met a villain and podcasters who’d piss themselves if they came face to face with even the pettiest of criminals, all talking about how badly you blew it. There was even a petition circling demanding that you make a public apology for what happened to the All Might statue – one apology to the sculptor who made the statue, and one to All Might himself. When that one started making the rounds, you set your social media accounts to private and hid from your phone for the next three days.
Things are starting to die down, you think, but you’ve still got one stop left on your humiliation tour, and it’s the one you’re dreading the most. Your alma mater is always looking for learning experiences to offer their students, so you’re spending this afternoon at UA, listening while the first-year hero students pick apart every action you took in Kamino Park.
It’s an open forum, so everyone who wants to run their mouth gets a chance to do it, and you sit stonefaced in your chair, praying for your composure to hold. Eraserhead said he’d give you chances to respond, and he does, every time a student sits down. But you don’t want to get into a back-and-forth with a bunch of kids. You did what you did. You can’t go back. Maybe they can learn from what you did wrong.
What did you do wrong, actually? The HPSC cleared you. You’re so unpopular right now that they’d seize any chance they got to strip your licenses, but they cleared you – and you’re still here, listening to a bunch of teenagers take shots at you. The unfairness boils up inside you all at once, and when the next kid sits down, you stand up before Eraser invites you to.
“You all think you could have done better than me out there,” you start. “Maybe you’re right. There are always things that could be done better. What did I do wrong?”
It’s quiet for a second. “Are you stupid or something?” Bakugou asks you. “They got away! That’s what you did wrong!”
“Is it? Kurogiri and Shigaraki got away at USJ, and again at Kamino the first time. I don’t see you lighting All Might’s ass up,” you shoot back. Bakugou makes an affronted sound. “Answer me for real this time. What was my actual, quantifiable mistake?”
It’s quiet for another beat. Eraser opens his mouth, but Class B’s teacher speaks up first. “That’s the more interesting question,” he says. “We’ve talked about how Skynet could have done better. What actual mistake did Skynet make that led to the final outcome of the incident?”
You know what it was, deep in your heart, and you also know that the only person who could call you on it is somebody you hope you never see again. A hand creeps up, and Vlad calls on the student – one of Eraser’s. “Yes, Midoriya?”
“I don’t know if I would call it a mistake,” Midoriya says, “but I was wondering – why didn’t you use more of your quirk?”
That’s a new one. You wait quietly, and Midoriya elaborates. “I mean, Magnetism has dozens of applications. You’re sort of known for being creative with how you use it. And r/herojapan did a power ranking of every active hero and you ranked the highest out of all non-charted heroes.”
That’s news to you. “So I guess that’s what I want to know,” Midoriya concludes. “If you have a quirk with a lot of applications and a lot of power to work with, how could the League of Villains escape?”
“Uh –” You glance at Vlad King, then at Eraserhead. They both gesture for you to go on. “What you said about my quirk – you’re right. I can go big with it. But the bigger I go with it, the less control I have, and I’m not creating magnetic fields out of thin air. I’m enhancing and altering what already exists. Every magnetic field I alter is touching another one, and my alterations affect those fields, too. If I want to use my quirk safely on a large scale, I have to alter some magnetic fields while stabilizing others simultaneously, and I have to do that while protecting civilians and assisting my fellow heroes and trying not to get killed. Using my quirk on the scale I would have needed at Kamino just isn’t possible.”
You can tell Midoriya doesn’t get it. Nobody else does, either. “Maybe you should demonstrate,” the girl from Class B who can make her hands enormous says. “Show us what would have happened if you used your quirk the way Midoriya is talking about at Kamino.”
“I think that’s a good idea,” Vlad says. “Ground Beta should be open right now. Let’s go.”
Vlad was your homeroom teacher in your first year at UA. You’ve been struggling not to call him sensei since you set foot on campus, and you know he knows how much you’ve struggled with your quirk. You also knew he was going to support you, but you’re not sure you like how he’s doing it – proving that you’re right, sure, but proving it by proving that you can’t handle your quirk at even partial strength, when the way you were using your quirk wasn’t even the real problem. If you had reacted faster, gotten a solid grip on Shigaraki through other means instead of getting distracted by how not-okay he is, you’d have held all the cards by the time the warp villain came to play. You’d like to see the warp villain try to back you into a corner when you’ve got a piece of rebar wrapped around Shigaraki’s throat.
But you didn’t have your shit together, because you were too stuck on just how shocked Shigaraki looked when you asked if he was okay. Not fake-shocked, not mocking-shocked, not look-at-the-hypocritical-hero-pretending-to-care shocked – truly, honestly shocked, like you’re the first person who’s asked him that question in a while. You flatly refuse to entertain the thought that you’re the first person who’s ever asked him that, because that would be too goddamn sad and you’re not into woobifying villains. You know more than a few heroes who have those romance novels about getting captured and ravished by a not-bad-just-misunderstood villain hanging out on their e-readers, and that’s not your style at all. So why did it bother you, seeing that look on Shigaraki’s face? Why are you still thinking about it two weeks later?
You shake it off as you, Eraser, Vlad, and the students reach Ground Beta. If you don’t want anybody to guess how you actually messed up, you need to do a good job proving that their idea of your mistake is the right one.
Vlad sets up a target a quarter of a mile down Ground Beta’s main street – the distance from one end of Kamino Park to the other – then makes his way back to you and the others. Eraserhead ushers everybody away from you. “Okay,” you say, projecting your voice, “I’m going to show you what it would have looked like for me to use my quirk to drag the League of Villains to me from across Kamino Park.”
Part of you is tempted to just blow it. Use your quirk recklessly, without worrying about consequences or property damage or anything but how it feels to finally let loose. But you’re a hero. You need to set a good example, not give the students even more reasons to question why you still have your license, and even here, there’s a chance that using your quirk at full strength isn’t safe. You get set, feeling the stabilizers in your boots anchor you to the ground. You tap into your metal sense, identifying the target a quarter mile away. Then you extend your hand, activate your quirk as precisely as you can manage, and pull.
The practice target starts moving. Unfortunately, so does everything else. No matter how hard you try to keep your focus on the target and only the target, metal fragments in the concrete lurch upwards, responding to your shift in the magnetic fields, pulling the street apart. The buildings on either side crumple inwards as their steel frameworks tear free. Lightposts bend into impossible shapes. Manhole covers lift from the street and fly towards you, forcing you to employ your other hand to stop them from striking the students behind you. The air vibrates. And sure, the practice target is flying towards you at high speed – but the destruction you’re wreaking on everything in between you and it is worse than what anyone but Shigaraki could have done to Kamino Memorial Park.
You let your grip on the magnetic fields fall when the target’s within thirty feet or so, and let momentum do the rest. Then you turn back towards the students. “This looks bad, right? If I’d done this at Kamino, it would be even worse. Anybody want to guess why?”
“Water mains,” the girl from 1-A with the Creation quirk says at once. You nod. “Cities are full of underground infrastructure, and most of that is made of metal. If your quirk is hard to focus narrowly at a distance from the target, you could do billions of yen worth of property damage.”
“What about people?” the electricity kid from 1-A says – the electricity kid who, if you remember right, also has a wide-range quirk. “Do they get caught when you do that?”
“No,” you say. “I have to be at close range to manipulate the iron in someone’s body. And they have to have enough iron in their bloodstream to make it possible.”
You say that, cringe, and brace yourself for what must be coming – one of the students, probably Midoriya, realizing that Shigaraki’s weapons-grade anemia is what kept him out of your reach at first. Followed by one of the students, probably Midoriya, asking why you didn’t use any of the other means at your disposal to capture him. “Oh,” the electricity kid says instead. “I get it now.”
“I have a question, Skynet,” Bakugou says loudly. “Couldn’t you do all that without destroying everything if you trained your quirk harder?”
You asked yourself that question a lot when you were a student at UA. The theoretical answer was always yes. “No,” you say, without getting into all the reasons why. “Does anyone else have a question?”
A Class B student named Honenuki has a question about what types of property you should avoid damaging if possible, and a Class B student named Monoma wants to know whether you were in Class A or Class B when you were at UA. He looks pretty happy when you say Class B, which is weird. You’re persona non grata among heroes right now. It doesn’t make a ton of sense that he’s excited that you were in the same class as he is. Vlad doesn’t ask you how things have been going; he just pats your shoulder and walks off. You try to escape before Eraserhead can talk to you, and make it exactly five steps before he calls out. “Skynet.”
You grit your teeth. “Do you want me to apologize, too?”
“For what?” Eraser looks irritated. “I asked you to look after my students. You looked after them. I’d be asking you to apologize if you’d let them fight.”
“Oh.” You weren’t looking forward to making that apology. “Then, um – what did you want to talk to me about?”
“My students are used to having their quirks temporarily canceled, but my quirk is unique. They’re much more likely to run into villains whose powers serve to restrain them,” Eraser says. You get where he’s going with this and try to interrupt, but he talks right over you. “I want you to come back for at least one of our basic training sessions. It’s rational to give them a chance to practice against a power set like yours, and it’ll also allow you the chance to work on fine-tuning your quirk.”
You knew there was a backhand somewhere in there. “My quirk’s as fine-tuned as it’s going to get.”
“We’ll see,” Eraser says. “The next basic training where all my students will be present is next Thursday. Come in.”
You recall making a promise to yourself, one which included telling Eraser to go to hell if he asked any more favors. But you still need to rehab your image. A lot. “Yeah. Sounds good.”
You change out of your costume before you leave campus – everything except your boots, which you wear almost all the time – and while you’re waiting for the train, you get a text from the group chat you have with the three other female pros who debuted in the same year as you. That’s about the only thing the four of you have in common, but that’s not stopping Yue from messaging in all caps. I MISSED MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! WE NEED TO CELEBRATE <3 <3 <3
Yue was the last one of the four of you to debut. Her agency held her back for maximum press impact, whereas you just picked a day at random to quit working as a sidekick and strike out for yourself. Kagura, another member of the debut class, texts back before you can. Spa night?
That sounds good to you, but it’s not Yue’s speed at all. GOING OUT! I CAN GET US INTO CLUB 100 IN TOKYO!
Right – Yue’s number 25, as of the most recent billboard chart update. Mayuko, the member of the class you get along with best, texts next. It might be nice to see what it’s like?
Kagura gives a thumbs-up, and Yue sets the celebration date for tonight – and orders you all to come to her apartment to get ready. She has a special message for you. NO BOOTS, SKY. THEY’RE TOO CLUNKY FOR DANCING.
You send back a frowny face, and Mayuko chimes in. You can borrow my shoes. It’s been so long since we got together! I can’t wait!
That’s true, and you’ve missed them – but right now you’re a liability. Are you sure you want to be seen in public with me? I’m sort of radioactive right now.
Nobody will recognize you out of costume, Yue says, instead of what you were hoping she’d say, which is that it doesn’t matter and she has your back. Be at my place at 6!
There goes your quiet night. You board your train and lean back in your seat. If you have to go dancing tonight, you’d better catch some rest now.
Shigaraki refreshes the page, frowning. Then he refreshes it again, getting the same message. What the hell does ‘set to private’ mean? He googles it, learns that only approved followers can see an Instagram account that’s set to private, and feels a surge of annoyance. It figures. He spent two weeks debating whether or not to look you up, and by the time he’s finally decided it’s not creepy to look up the weird hero who has a crush on him, you locked all of your stupid social media accounts.
Part of Shigaraki still thinks everybody’s messing with him – everybody except Toga, who’s delusional, and Twice, who’s probably never touched a girl who wasn’t in the process of arresting him. But something about it keeps bothering Shigaraki. Something about you keeps bothering him. Thinking about it makes him itch, and not thinking about it isn’t working. After two weeks of trying both, Shigaraki decided to look you up and find out what you’ve said about him and the League of Villains, so he can finally delete the mental save file with you in it.
But you haven’t said much about the League of Villains. Shigaraki can’t tell if that’s because no one’s asked you or because you don’t have anything to say – or at least not anything you’d say publicly, which is why he went looking for your personal social media accounts and found them all locked. Shigaraki scratches with one hand and looks you up on Reddit with the other. He has to be pretty specific in his search query. Just looking up “Skynet” brings up a lot of stuff about movies.
The Reddit threads about you are a mix of obsessive hero fans and people who think you’re hot. The latter group spends a lot of time bitching about the fact that you don’t post enough thirst traps. It doesn’t seem like you go for fanservice. Good. Shigaraki hates heroes on principle, but he hates the ones who don’t showboat ever so slightly less.
You used to work with Eraserhead, which is probably why he let you supervise his class. You went to UA. There are links to all your Sports Festival performances, and Shigaraki bookmarks them for later, in case you’ve got skills you didn’t show in the fight at Kamino. You’re not very well-known, and none of your arrests have been of big-time villains. And as far as Shigaraki can find, you’ve never said a word about the League.
It’s not like Shigaraki was expecting to find a whole essay about why you don’t hate the League and why you have a crush on him. He wouldn’t have liked that. But he also doesn’t like the fact that you apparently didn’t think about the League at all before you fought him at Kamino. Maybe you did and you were just keeping quiet about it. Or maybe you didn’t care at all until you met Shigaraki in person, and then you – what? Worried about him? Cared about him? Wanted him to live? Do people actually fall in love at first sight?
Toga would say yes, but Toga’s seventeen, and also insane. Shigaraki can’t take anything Toga says at face value.
There’s one other spot on Reddit where Shigaraki finds you – in a thread on the weirdest hero names. He remembers the movies that kept popping up in his earlier search results and finds one of them on his favorite pirating site. He’s bored. There’s nothing to do right now. He’s decided not to do anything else until the dust has settled. He has time for a movie.
The hideout is quiet right now. Dabi’s been gone all day. Toga and Twice left this afternoon, either to scout things out or to steal more supplies, and Spinner, Compress, and Magne are all napping in the next room. This afternoon, Shigaraki sent Kurogiri to ask the doctor for help. He didn’t want to do that, but with Sensei gone – gone, and it’s Shigaraki’s fault, because it was his stupid plan – the League is out of Nomus and running out of money. They need backup, and Kurogiri’s better at convincing the doctor to do things than Shigaraki is. A scarecrow with a paper bag over its head is better at convincing people to do things than Shigaraki is. If Shigaraki was convincing at all, he would have won Bakugou over, and none of this would have happened.
The movie is sci-fi, or maybe horror. It’s also really old, from some time period where all the movies were set in a world where quirks don’t exist. If quirks existed, this movie would be over before it even started. Probably. Shigaraki wonders if you’ve seen this movie. If you liked it. What other things do you like, in addition to him?
A few minutes later, he gets an answer to at least one of his questions. You’ve definitely seen this movie, and you must have liked it, or you wouldn’t have named yourself after the evil supercomputer that nuked humanity and started building killer robots to take out anybody who survived. Now Shigaraki gets why you were on the list of heroes with weird names, and he’s pretty sure you should be at the top of it. You must have at least a couple screws loose. That’s probably why you took one look at Shigaraki and decided to fall in love with him. If you have fallen in love with him. Have you?
Shigaraki needs to stop thinking about this. He presses play on the movie again. Now that he’s got at least an answer or two, maybe he can focus on something else. Something other than the fact that he’s tired and hungry and has a headache and will probably get dizzy if he stands up too fast, just like he always has. And the fact that none of those things were a problem until you asked if he was okay.
He must fall asleep or something, because the next thing he knows, the screen of his phone’s gone dark, and someone is hollering at him from the other room. “What?” Shigaraki shouts back.
“Get in here,” Dabi says. Dabi’s back. “Your girlfriend’s on the news.”
“All over the news,” Toga adds gleefully, before Shigaraki can argue back that a) you’re not his girlfriend because b) he doesn’t even like you. “She’s even cuter when she’s covered in blood!”
What? Shigaraki stands up too fast, comes close to blacking out, and scrambles unsteadily into the other room. Magne has the TV on, and Shigaraki elbows his way past Compress and Dabi for a look at the screen. It’s the national news, a special report. Something about speed brakes failing on a Shinkansen headed through Tokyo and a catastrophic derailment. Or what would have been a catastrophic derailment, if it wasn’t for you. Before Shigaraki can tell somebody to look up what happened on their phone – his is dead – the news broadcast plays a video of the incident. All Shigaraki and the others can do is stare.
“Damn,” Spinner says into the silence that falls afterwards. “If she’d done that at Kamino, you all would have been toast.”
No kidding. Shigaraki didn’t go to school past kindergarten, but every idiot knows that trains are heavy, and knows that the faster something is going, the harder it is to stop. In the video, you’re on the tracks behind the speeding train, hand outstretched. Shigaraki sees the train shudder when your quirk catches it. It yanks you off your feet about three seconds later, and you get dragged out of the frame facedown, one hand still extended, still hanging on. Whoever’s holding the camera pans left, following the train, and it’s pretty obvious that the train is slowing down. Shigaraki thought your quirk was good for paralyzing people and pulling wires out of the ground. He’d never have guessed you were capable of this.
“Why didn’t she do that at Kamino?” Dabi asks, baffled. “She could have made it big as the hero who took down the League of Villains instead of getting dragged by the press for letting us go.”
“Which do you think dragged her harder, the press or the train?” Magne cackles, and Dabi snorts. “She looks like roadkill –”
“Don’t be dumb,” Toga says to Magne. “She’s got blood all over her. It’s cute! And she let us go at Kamino because she loves Tomura-kun.”
“Oh, right.” Magne nods. Dabi’s still snickering. “The train isn’t half as cute as the boss is!”
Dabi’s snickering gets worse, and Twice is guffawing in the background. Shigaraki yanks the remote out of Magne’s hand and turns up the volume on the TV to drown them out. “ – pleased to report a lack of severe injuries to the passengers, courtesy of the gradual stop achieved by what was first believed to be a civilian acting without authorization,” the newscaster is saying. They’re on the scene. There’s an ambulance in the background. “We’ve since confirmed that the individual responsible for the save is an off-duty hero by the name of Skynet. We have her right here –”
The camera zooms in on you, just in time for you to spit a mouthful of blood into the gutter. Magne was right – you look like shit – and Toga was right – you’re covered in blood. You’re not wearing your costume, and your clothes are pretty shredded. You wipe your mouth on the back of your hand and stand up straight, grimacing. Shigaraki’s taken his share of hits in battle before. He’s impressed against his will.
The interviewer is asking you a bunch of questions, and Shigaraki listens carefully. Now that he knows how powerful your quirk actually is, he needs as many clues as possible about how it works. He picks up things here and there, but he keeps getting distracted by you. By the blood dripping from the corner of your mouth. By the big, bloody scrapes across your torso. By the way one of your shoulders is pretty obviously dislocated, and the fact that you’re standing there doing an interview when you should be getting help. Shigaraki doesn’t need to ask a stupid question about whether or not you’re okay. He knows you’re not. Why does he care?
Because you were off-duty. Because this wasn’t your job. Because you got in trouble for letting Shigaraki go at Kamino and still jumped onto the tracks to get dragged four hundred yards behind an out-of-control train. The heroic system is bullshit, and there’s nothing defensible about it, but that train probably had hundreds of people on it, and they’d be dead if it wasn’t for you. Being a hero is idiotic at best. But if it’s possible to do an idiotic thing the right way, you’re doing it.
The interviewer is asking you why you stepped in when you weren’t on duty, and you’re getting pretty visibly annoyed. Spinner is the only person other than Shigaraki who’s still watching. “She’s underground, right?” he asks. Shigaraki nods without looking away from the screen. “She acts like a true hero. Stain would approve.”
Shigaraki doesn’t give a shit what the Hero Killer thinks about anything. But he has a really bad feeling that he’s starting to give a shit about you. What the hell is he supposed to do about it?
Turn you, obviously. The League could use a quirk like yours, and it would be a serious blow to hero society for an established hero to join forces with Shigaraki. You probably weren’t trying to get Shigaraki’s attention by stopping a speeding train, but you’ve got his attention now, for a good reason instead of a stupid one. The thought of your feelings for him is a lot less uncomfortable now that they’re something he can use.
Kurogiri gets back from the doctor with bad news – the doctor can’t help them right now, because they’re taking too much heat. It sounds like bullshit to Shigaraki, but he has something else on his mind. He talks to Kurogiri away from the others. “Find out where Skynet lives.”
Kurogiri looks surprised. “Why?”
“She’s stronger than I thought. We can use her.”
“I see,” Kurogiri says, but he’s giving Shigaraki a weird look. “Why do you need to know where she lives?”
“So I can let her know I’m interested,” Shigaraki says. Kurogiri’s expression doesn’t shift. “I don’t have to tell her what I’m interested in.”
Kurogiri’s still making a weird face. As much as Kurogiri can make any kind of face. “Right?” Shigaraki prompts, and Kurogiri nods. “Right. Once we know where she is, what should I do?”
“Something subtle,” Kurogiri suggests. “Consider it while I seek the information you requested.”
Something subtle. Easy enough. Shigaraki feels better about the whole thing than he has since he ran into you for the first time. You’re in love with him? That’s fine. If you love him so much, you can help him destroy the world.

“Let’s take a quick break before we run this scene from the top!” Robin called, voice echoing through the building. “Steve, Eddie, will you come here for a second?”
Steve sighed as the lights on the set dimmed, wiping a stray drop of sweat from his brow. He tensed his shoulders, rolling them back and forth as he headed toward the directors chair.
Following behind him was Eddie Munson, his costar and the most infuriating person Steve had ever had the displeasure of meeting. The two of them stood in front of Robin, shooting each other glares as she let out a loud noise of exasperation.
“What will it take for me to get you two to get along?” she asked, running a hand through her hair. “You’re supposed to be madly in love in this scene, and you act like if you stand too close to each other you’ll explode.”
“I-” Steve began, crossing his arms. “Maybe if Munson wasn’t so hard to work with.” He muttered the sentence, but Robin and Eddie still heard.
“If I wasn't too hard to work with?” Eddie exclaimed, eyes closing as he furrowed up his face in a way that made Steve’s stomach flip with anger. “You’re the one who acts like I have the plague, Harrington!”
“I do not! You-” Steve clenched his fists at his sides, “you act as if kissing me is the worst thing to ever happen to you! We’re supposed to be professional!”
Silence rang through the studio. “It’s hard to be professional when your costar is a hit dickhead,” Eddie mumbled, so quietly that Steve nearly didn’t catch it.
He did, though. “What?” he asked, confused. “What have I ever done to you?” He did his best to ignore the ‘hot’ part of the statement. “Genuinely, Eddie, I have been nothing but welcoming to you since we were casted.”
“That’s the problem!” Eddie hissed. “You and your stupid smile, and your stupid hair, and your stupidly gorgeous face have been so distracting these past few weeks!” He rolled his eyes. “Go ahead, call me stupid for hating you because I think you’re attractive. I’m waiting.”
Steve’s mouth went dry. “You- what?” he asked, trying to grasp the situation.
“I’ve been trying not to fanboy over you since we met, Harrington.” Deflating, Eddie looked at the ground. “Let’s get this over with. Tell me you don’t want to work with me anymore, come on.”
Bewildered, Steve could only shake his head. “I want to work with you,” he said slowly. “You think I’m attractive?”
“Me and half the world's population, Stevie,” Eddie said with the roll of his eyes, glancing up through his eyelashes. “Why are you so shocked?”
“You aren’t too bad yourself!” Steve blurted, fidgeting with his hands. He locked eyes with Eddie, both of them staring at each other with confusion.
Robin was the one to break the tension.
“This has been… strange,” she said, looking from Steve to Eddie and back to Steve again. “Come on, boys. Let’s run it from the top.”

Not that I don’t like you, I’m just at a party
You wished that you realized sooner.
The little signs that was being given off ever since that rainy day that occurred few weeks prior to what was happening now. You recalled how drenched everyone became since they were out in the rain. One of your neighbors, Wally Darling, specifically. Two days later is when it started showing physically since he was coming out to less and less. The everyone concluded that he was down with an sickness that Wally came down with.
Lounging around in your home without anything planned for the day as usual. Though part of you was reluctant to hear knocking on your door, or the phone's ringing. Waiting for someone to talk to you and drag you to bring them into their fun shenanigans they have planned for the day. You often shake away the thought, wanting the day to be by yourself as some way to recharge yourself due to your social battery being inherently low for the past couple of days.
You were broken out of your thoughts the moment the phone rang. You nearly shoot up right out of your seat before relaxing, realizing it might be one of the neighbors calling you. You suspect it would be Sally since she's been recently calling you a lot. For advice on the plays she has written and notes that she rambles to you about scenes. All the usual stuff that you and Sally would talk about for hours.
"Hello? (L/N) speaking." It was like an automated line that is always said whenever the phone was picked up by you.
No answer. You thought that it was some mistaken call that was directed to you. You were about to speak again before your voice was caught up in your throat.
"Hello neighbor.."
Wally's voice filled your ear. You haven't talked to him in a long while which surprised you in the slightest. Part of you was relieved that he was calling you.
"Hey Wally!" A smile spread across your face. "I haven't heard from you in a while. Are you feeling okay?"
"I'm feeling great, neighbor." Through his monotonous voice there was some bit of comfort for him through those words. "I'm so glad you picked up. I've missed your voice."
Here was the start of what you thought was to be a short conversation. Chatting about what you were doing the past couple of days and rambling about your interests to him. He didn't have much to say but he made it known that was listening to every single thing you said. Wally would often times thrown in compliments which caught you off guard. Maybe this was the first sign you needed to know.
"Look, Wally I need to go." It was your third reminder to him since you realized how long you've been in the phone for.
"What about the story? Can you tell me more about it, please?"
"I'll tell you soon."
"But–"
You didn't hear the rest of what he had to say due to bringing the phone away from your ear while uttering a quick bye before hanging up. You let out a soft sigh, not realizing how late it's gotten. The sun was already at its prime of setting, revealing only streetlights as its main source to see the outside world clearly. You furrow your eyebrows in confusion as you wondered what time it was. And how long you've been on the phone for.
And I am sick and tired of my phone ringing
Getting prepared for your night time routine you realized you weren't as tired as you thought to be. You just been staring up at the ceiling for the past consecutive hours of the night. You decided against your thoughts of attempted sleeping, getting up from your warm covers and into the chill air of your room.
You chose to do you hair, wanting a new hairstyle for yourself. Turning on some music just loud enough for you to hear only you started with plaiting your hair. You were somewhat aware of how long it would take, but it didn't matter. Just as long as you didn't sit around doing nothing without any ounce of exhaustion is something you didn't want to do.
Through the music you mindlessly part and plait your hair into tiny strands to make braids. You didn't realize how many you've done before you heard a noise. Slowly down your pace you glance to the radio that was carelessly tossed onto you bed. You've heard this song more than enough times to count the beats to the song.
Something about it was throwing you off.
Listening closely to the noise you've made a slow realization of the phone ringing. It was faint since the phone was in a completely different room but it felt like it was directly next to you. Questions starting to flood your mind as you finally finish the hair strands in your hand, directing your eyes over to the closed door of your bedroom.
'How long has the phone been ringing?'
It could've been minutes since the phone has been ringing. Getting a random call in the middle of the night scared you somewhat even though the phone line was directly connected to your friendly neighbors. You turn your head back to the mirror that you were seated in front of. It was better not to answer the phone right now since it was probably a random call accidentally made to you. But was it? You didn't know at all. You just needed to finish what you started.
After the final braid was done, you cleaned yourself up and flopped down on your bed. Barely missing the radio that tilted to the side due to your weight on the bed. Exhaustion finally caught up with you and you fell asleep.
Sometimes I feel like I live in Grandcentral Station
For the next couple of days was a never ending cycle for you. It weirded you out at first without any question. But the more you repeated the same action, it would just happen not even minutes later once you were away from it. Waking up to a mundane routine is something you wished for.
Wake up, get yourself breakfast, phone rings for several minutes, do you daily activities friends, get dinner, and go to sleep.
Wake up, phone rings for several minutes, get yourself some breakfast, the phone rings for an hour, do your daily activities, get dinner and go to sleep.
The phone rings for several minutes, wake up, phone rings for two hours, get yourself breakfast, the phone goes off, stay indoors, the phone rings, dinner, the phone rings, and go to sleep.
The phone rings again. The ringing was driving you insane. It was going on any time you were inside your own home. Whenever you went to another's house, their phone was silent as ever. Something that you had wished for. But it wasn't the only thing that kept you up late at night. You've been having conversations with Wally prior to the endless phone calls. Part feeling bad that he was still stuck in his home instead of being outside and spending time with the neighbors. You hadn't realize that his condition was getting progressively worse the more you kept talking to him.
Wally wanted to hear your voice more. He needed to hear you talk about whatever came to mind or was brought up. The sound of your voice was a melodious tune to him. Wally couldn't help it at all.
You wished you connected it sooner than expected.
And yet here you were. You were sitting down at the dinner table that was in your own home, your food gone untouched. You could only stare blankly at the plate in front of you knowing well that it's gone cold. Your eyes slowly drifted over to the phone that was resting on the counter. You had moved it during one of your calls with Wally so you can multitask: talk to him while making yourself something to eat. Easier and more convient for you, wasn't it?
It's been ringing once again. Your mind automatically thought it was Wally calling you again. It couldn't be anyone else to call you this late at night.
How else would he know that you tend to stay up into the late hours of the night. Or how you would wake up without a thought, doing whatever gets you back into exhaustion so you have more energy for tomorrow. How else could he know these details about you that you never mentioned.
You pushed the chair back without cringing at the screeching floorboard you caused it to make. You storm into the kitchen, opening various of drawers and digging through the various amount of supplies that you had stashed away. You were doing it aggressively to the point were you could've accidentally taken out an entire drawer. Pulling and slamming over and over again before you found what you were looking for. You scooped up a pair of scissors into your hands with the satisfaction of finally finding your desired item.
Pushing yourself away from the messy drawers and cabinets, you rush back over to the phone. You nearly knock over the phone which would've been desirable but it wasn't what you were aiming for. Going to the other side, you trace the long thin cable that connected your phone to the house, which gave access to anyone calling you. Finding no care for the length, you swiftly snip the cord in half.
An unfamiliar silence filled the room. Lowering your hands, you let one end of the cord slip through you hands and onto the floor. Relief washes over your body was you stand up properly. Sliding the scissors gently onto the counter. Turning away from the phone with no care what you're going to do with it. As long as it was silent, you were happy.
The phone rings.
You nearly snap your neck to look at the phone once again. Tou were thinking you might be imagining it all over again. The phone vibrates as the ringing starts up again. You were sure that you cut the phone line. What other cord could be connected to the phone.
'What the fuck is going on? Why is it ringing? How is it still ringing!? Just fucking stop!'
One thing led to another and you found yourself on the floor sitting against the wall. Viewing the phone that was at a distance due to it being knocked over by you throwing it at a nearby wall. It didn't break fully which made you more frustrated, but you didn't have anymore energy to deal with it. You were tired. You wanted it to stop.
"Now neighbor.. is that a way to answer a friend?" Wally's faint voice was heard through the phone, but you made no effort to get closer to hear him better.
"You destroyed your phone," Wally continues to speak with a loving tone in his voice. He sounds genuine, but you knew that there was another emotion present. "How can I be able to hear your voice if I can't call you.. Don't you think it would be better to visit me?”
You remained silent. Something about the suggestion was almost to good to pass up. It has been days since you’ve seen him, and you didn’t want anything more than to make up the lost time with the shorter puppet. But then again, Wally was sick and you weren't going to risk getting others down if you ended up getting sick as well.
You could only stare at the phone but you could feel Wally’s eyes focused on you. Eager for an answer.
Tonight I’m not taking no calls, cause I’ll be dancing

Why Can't You See?
Tumblr media
Summary: The RDA has returned. Since their return, we have not only been fighting with the humans but Jake and I cannot see eye to eye anymore. No matter how hard I try, Jake and I seem to be falling apart. I want to fight for our mateship, but I don't know how much longer I can fight.
Warnings: Canon violence, Disassociation, Attempted Smut (No Actual Smut)
Tumblr media
I will never regret the day I met the Sully’s. They are the loves of my life, and I will always cherish them. Having four kids with them was another great gift from Eywa. But I am so tired.
Ever since the humans came back to Pandora, Neytiri and I have taken over the brunt of parenting; not only that, but we have had to fix everything Jake has been doing. He demands and orders the children, especially the boys, to do outrageous things that they end up failing. I then have to go around and reassure the boys before turning around and talking with Jake about it, leading to another argument: Neytiri standing between us, trying to get the two of us to see reason. This has gone on for over a year now, but today is going to be a good day. The raid has been planned to perfection. It’s going to be an in-and-out operation: blow up the tracks, grab the weaponry and supplies, and get out. We already have our chosen spotters: several men who passed their Iknimaya a little after Jake and I did.
Jake and I lead the team, himself in the air on Bob, while I lead the ground forces on pa’li. My warriors were beside me as we waited for our signal. My anxious emotions were fed back to me by my pa’li, our tsaheylu keeping us connected. My pa’li stomped her hoves impatiently., I sent a wave of calmness to her as I pat her neck soothingly, never taking my eyes off the target.
Over the comms, I heard Jake say, “Ground teams go,” And we were off.
The resounding sounds of battle cries rang through the air as we raced our way to the tracks. The explosives went off with a bang, turning the tracks to scrap metal, and the train itself flew off the rails, flinging into multiple pieces. Rolling over and on top of each other, each causing their own explosion. The fires were horrendously hot, and the sweltering heat nearly unbearable, but everything had gone as planned.
I watched as Jake swooped down from the sky, shooting at the aircraft with a cry, Neytiri following after him with her bow, releasing a cry of her own. I shook my bow, releasing my own cry after them, pleased with the results, as I watched the carrier crash.
“Go! Go!” I shouted at my warriors as we surrounded the crash, “We don’t have long, you know the plan! Stick to your stations!” I ordered as we got into position.
We all got to work; as the air team landed, I noticed that our spotters were on the ground, concerned I reached for my comm, “Devil Dog, you read me? Our spotters are on the ground; who’s in the air?” I asked assertively.
I was handed several more crates before my ear twitched with Jake’s response, “Fireball, we ended up with two more; I put them on spotting, so we have more on the ground.”
I growled as my irritation rose. Damn Jake and changing the plans without telling me.
“We’ll talk about this later,” I growled into the comms before running back to my pa’li and offloading what was in my arms.
I ran back into the crash site as Jake landed. He watched over the scene, his gun in hand, but did not move a finger in helping us. Neytiri was on the ground, ordering those into collective files. The screeching of our ikrans and our battle cried, making it difficult to hear anything.
“Let’s go, two minutes, people, let's go,” Jake’s voice rang in my ear.
I relayed the information, “Two minutes! Let’s go!”
In my haste, I brushed off what I thought was Neteyam’s voice; my boys are back at High Ground; it’s just my paranoia.
On the other side of the destruction, I could hear Norm explaining to grab the high-priority items. I grabbed several more cases of RPGs and ammunition before I noticed my pa’li could carry no more. I swung onto my steed and shouted a call to my warriors, signaling it was time to head out. I looked over to my warriors, watching as they all mounted their pa’li when I heard a war cry, Lo’ak’s war cry. My eyes looked over the wreckage, trying to spot my son, but instead, I was met with the sight of a gunship. A spotter called it first, sounding the alarm.
“Gunships in bound fall back!” Jake’s voice came through the com.
I hastily replied, “I heard Eagal Eye on the ground! I’m going in!”
I sent the warriors on their way as I rushed my pa’li into the destruction.
“Negative Fireball, I have it handled. Head back to base,” Jake ordered through the comm, but I refused even to reply, instead forcing my pa’li faster.
The gunship fired two shots, blowing up the nearby ground and supplies; someone quickly shot at the gunship, taking out one of its propellers, quickly causing the gunship to spiral and crash. I continued on, the dust and debris coating my face and lungs as the heat became worse than before.
“Lo’ak! Neteyam!” I called as I looked for my sons.
“Lo’ak, where are you? Neteyam?” Jake yelled nearby.
I spotted Jake crouched over; as I approached, I saw Lo’ak in Jake’s arms. I was too relieved to be angry, seeing that Lo’ak was okay. I jumped off my pa’li, joining the two.
“Lo’ak! Are you okay?” I quickly checked over for any injuries.
Lo’ak quickly nodded his head wordlessly.
“Where’s your brother?” Jake demanded.
Lo’ak attempted to stutter out an answer, only successfully pointing to a general area.
“You two get out of here; go on!” Jake demanded as he continued for Neteyam.
It felt like a knife had been twisted in my chest, the idea of leaving one of my sons. But Lo’ak was in shock, and I needed to get him home.
I hold Lo’ak’s face in my hands, “Alright, come on, we gotta get out of here; your dad's got Neteyam, okay?”I moved down and grabbed Lo’ak’s hand, pulling him along.
I rushed through the wreckage, pulling Lo’ak behind me and onto my pa’li, and with a yip, we were off. As we sped through the jungle, I could feel Lo’ak’s arms trembling around me. I reached around and patted at his hair, trying to soothe him the best I could. As we arrived at the meeting place, I helped Lo’ak off my pa’li before turning to the stolen goods.
“Alright, Lo’ak, I need your help. Grab some equipment and load it onto the ikrans,” I explain simply, knowing Lo’ak needs direct instructions.
“Yes, Ma’am,” Lo’ak answered.
I grabbed his arm, gently pulling him to me; I brushed his braids out of his face, “I don’t care where we are; I’m not a ma’am to you; I’m your Mama.”
A small smile slipped over Lo’ak’s face, “Yes, Mama,” Before he went and continued his duties.
As we continued to transfer the weaponry, the pit in my stomach built. Not knowing if my other son was okay if Jake got Neteyam out of there, was Neteyam hurt? I chewed my lip as I worked on. I watched as Lo’ak started acting like himself again, a bit nervous but much better than before. My team didn’t take long, as soon we were all in the air on our ikrans. I searched the sky furiously, skewering for any signs of my family. Lo’ak flying close to me, he yipped for my attention; as I looked over, he pointed at three ikrans, Neytiri, Jake, and Neteyam. I was finally able to breathe again, seeing Neteyam well enough that he could fly on his own. But as my chest eased from worry, anger took its place. Neither of the kids was to be on this mission, yet Jake wasn’t even surprised! Because he knew, he chanced out the spotters; Lo’ak and Neteyam were the new spotters. Jake deliberately went behind my back and put the kids on the mission! By the time we landed, I was seething, my anger causing me to shake.
“Sa’nu! Mama!” I heard Tuk yell as he hugged Neytiri.
I bent over and embraced Tuk and Neytiri, an arm around both of them, using this moment to calm my ire.
“Fall in,” Jake demanded gruffly, sounding just as pissed as I was.
I couldn’t stop the growl from slipping past my lips as the rage bloomed again. Neytiri and Tuk looked at me, Neytiri with concern and Tuk startled. I placed a kiss on Tuk’s forehead as I watched Lo’ak and Neteyam slowly walk over to stand in front of Jake, both nervous about the outcome.
And Jake started right into them, “You’re supposed to be spotters. You spot bogeys, and you call ‘em in. From a distance!” Jake’s voice was angry but also wobbled in fear as he got into Neteyam’s face, “Does any of this sound familiar?” Jake turned to Lo’ak, demanding, “Get here!” Lo’ak slowly walked over as Kiri went to check on Neteyam, and Jake continued on, “Jesus! I let you two geniuses fly a mission, and you disobey direct orders.” Neteyam couldn’t even look Jake in the eye as his and Lo’ak’s tails flickered nervously.
Jake turned to Kiri, “Kiri, can you go help your grandmother with the wounded? Please?” His voice was softer yet urgent with our eldest daughter.
Kiri looked at Jake and snarked, “My brother is wounded.”
Neteyam tried to brush off his injuries as Jake pleaded with Kiri, “Baby girl, please,” Tuk had wandered over to Lo’ak, trying to hold his hand, before Jake snapped at Tuk, “Tuk, go with her! Go!”
Our daughters sighed before walking away.
“Dad. Sir, I take full responsibility,” Neteyam started, trying to placate Jake.
“Yeah, you do. That’s right. ‘Cause you’re the older brother. You gotta act like it,” Jake snapped at Neteyam.
My anger could take no more, “That is enough, Jake,” I hissed at him, fangs barred.
Jake stepped back, shocked by my sudden outburst.
“You want to talk about responsibility? As parents, we had agreed that none of the kids would see the battlefield until they were 18, yet you went behind Neytiri and I’s back doing this. We already knew that they weren't mature enough for this! The responsibility for all of it is on you!” I growled out, my eyes wide, as I stalked forward, putting myself between Jake and the boys.
I force myself to speak calmly, “Boys, go to your grandmother; we will continue this later,” But my eyes never left Jake.
“No! We are not done yet!” Jake demanded as the boys tried to walk away.
I hissed in response, causing Jake to flinch again.
“Ma’Jake, your son is actually bleeding,” Neytiri, the voice of reason, calmly intervenes.
“Sa’nu, it is fine. I..” Neteyam attempted to brush off again.
Jake shook his head, “Just go and get patched up. Go on, dismissed.”
Neteyam walked away, Neytiri following him as she looked back at Jake and me, worried about leaving us there for the moment.
“You do understand that you almost got your brother killed?” Jake demeanded from Lo’ak.
“Yes, Sir,” Lo’ak agreed degectively.
“Absolutely not,” I shut that down, “Lo’ak, you and Neteyam shouldn’t have been there in the first place. No, you shouldn’t have disobeyed your father's orders, and for that, you will be grounded, but the rest of it is on you, Jake,” I quickly turned to Jake.
Jake opened his mouth to speak, only to stop short, turning to Lo’ak, “You’re grounded. No flying for a month. Now see to the ikran. All of ‘em,” Despite wanting to protest, I agreed with the punishment.
“Yes, Sir,” Lo’ak responded numbly.
And because Jake can’t keep his mouth shut, “And get that crap off your face,” He demanded before attempting to storm off.
I grab Jake’s arm, glaring at him, “This conversation is not over,” I growled before moving away and checking on Lo’ak.
Lo’ak was sulking as he went to bring Bob away; he looked up at me, his eyes dejected.
“Lo’ak, come here,” I demanded softly, opening my arms for him.
Sluggishly, he shuffles his way to me, wrapping his arms around me as I pull him into a hug. I rest my cheek on top of his head and cradle him close.
“I love you so much, Lo’ak; you know that, right?” I ask him gently.
I could feel him nod his head as he hummed affirmatively.
“And while your father is horrible at admitting it, you know that Jake loves you, right?” I ask again, needing to know.
There was a pause before Lo’ak hesitantly nodded again. Tears pricked at my eyes. Lo’ak should never have to hesitate, yet here I am, holding my son as questions if his own father loves him.
I kissed the top of his head before whispering, “I promise you, Lo’ak. Jake loves you; he loves every single one of you. I’m not going to go against Jake with your punishment, but I will be talking with him, okay?”
“Okay, Mama. Can I go now? I have a lot to do,” Lo’ak asked but made no move to leave my arms.
“You can leave whenever you feel like it,” I answer, rubbing his back soothingly.
Lo’ak hugged me tighter before regretfully letting go, “Thank you, Mama.”
“You don’t have to thank me for loving you, baby, because that is what I was made to do,” I explain lovingly to him.
Lo’ak gave me a small smile before walking away. I smile sadly, wishing I could do more right now. I shake my head before spotting Spider out of the corner of my eye—the little human boy who hangs out a lot. I smile at him as I walk over.
“Hello, Spider,” I greet calmly, “I’m sorry you had to see all that,” I apologized, seeing how uncomfortable he was.
“It’s okay, Mrs. Sully, I know you didn’t mean it,” Spider sheepishly replied.
I frowned slightly, “No, Spider, it’s not okay; none of you kids should have seen that. And as an adult, I am in the wrong. I should have handled that better, and that is why I’m apologizing to you,” I placed a hand on his shoulder, “And none of that Mrs. Sully stuff, it’s (Y/N), or you can call me Mama too if you want. You’ve always been my third son,” I smile softly at the teenager.
“Thank you, Mrs., um, (Y/N), um,” Spider stumbled.
I chuckled lightly at him, “Don’t worry about it, kid. Now, why don’t you come over later? I know Lo’ak and Kiri would love to see you and have an excuse to leave the kelku.”
Spider brightened up at the offer, “Will do, Mrs-, Ma-, (Y/N)!”
“Anytime, Spider, it is always a joy when you're around.”
Spider brightened even more, smiling joyfully at me, “I’m- I’m going to go help Lo’ak now,” He explained, backing away.
“Thank you, Spider; I’ll see you later with Lo’ak,” I watch him walk away to tend to the ikran with Lo’ak.
But as I stood there, all the emotions from the day hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn’t know where to scream, cry, shout, punch something. It’s all there, trapping me in place, slowly leaving me numb. A pair of arms wrapped around me, one gentle hand moving my face, revealing Neytiri. Her face was sorrowful as she watched me.
“Ma’Muntxate, today has been hard on you, hasn’t it?” Neytiri’s voice was soothing.
I nod my head, feeling like I was moving through molasses.
“I got you, Syulang,” Neytiri cooed as she grabbed my arms, leading me off somewhere.
I let her lead me aimlessly, the world nothing more than a blur as my emotions shut off completely. It seemed like it had been mere moments and yet hours simultaneously, but I felt warm. Gentle minstrains along my body, bringing feelings of comfort. I slowly looked around, noticing I was no longer at the High Ground but instead in a small hot spring hidden in the forest. The lush green calmed me. I breathed deeply, noticing that my armored vest was gone, as was my tewng. The colors of my war paint long gone, leaving me bare, just (Y/N), not a warrior, not a marine, not a parent, not a mate fighting for her children, just (Y/N).
“Are you back with me, Tìyawn?” Neytiri asked as she pressed her naked body to mine, holding me close.
I sluggishly wrapped my arms around her waist, leaning my head on her shoulder, “Yeah, ‘m back,” My voice was as sluggish as my body.
We stand there holding each other in the hot spring, simply enjoying each other's presence.
“Do you remember the first time we found this place?” Neytiri asked me as she threaded her fingers in my hair.
“Yeah, it was when you were teaching Jake still. He had gone and done something stupid. You walked off, and I followed. Didn’t think I’d find your bathing,” I chuckled lightly.
“I was planning on doing much more than bathing, but I heard you coming. Your footsteps were so loud back then,” She chuckled in return.
“Much more? Damn, maybe I should have waited a bit longer,” I hummed appreciatively.
“Skxawng,” Neytiri mumbled back.
“What, that would have been nice. You’d probably have plucked my eyes out, but it would have been worth it,” I smile so hard it hurts my face.
I lay a small kiss on Neytiri’s neck; she sighs, leaning her head to give me more room. I continue leaving open-mouthed kisses along her neck, sucking her flesh into my mouth, knowing that marks will be left in their wake. Neytiri threads her fingers into my hair, pulling me closer as one of her hands travels south. But her touch didn’t bring the pleasure it usually does, instead leaving me wanting to get away. I tried to push through it, only for a sob to break through.
I back off slowly, disappointed in myself, “I’m sorry, Love, but I can’t right now.” I blinked back tears, hating that I couldn’t give Neytiri what she needed right now.
Neytiri pulled my face so we were face to face, her forehead resting on mine, “Do not apologize for something you cannot control, Yawnetu. Now come, rest with me.”
I let her pull me deeper into the hot spring. A small ledge in the water allows us to sit submerged up to our necks. Neytiri pulls me into her lap, holding me close as I wrap my arms around her neck.
For now, everything is fine.

Summary: It has been 10 years since you left behind the world of being a sorcerer. You experienced too much hurt to ever want to step back foot in that world, even if it meant never getting to give your heart closure. You worked behind the shadows, executing curses to alleviate pressure on the students who attend Jujutsu High. One day on your way back from your mission, you meet an unexpected guest...
I wrote this because this man has been living rent-free in my head for the past couple of weeks and it needed to be done. I simply can't just write smut, I need substance. So here is my dirty little fic for ya'll. I hope you enjoy it!
Note: I posted this on Ao3. This is all my writing I promise, just posting of different platforms for more people to enjoy.
Faster…  I have to run faster.
You ‘stumbled’ on a nest of cursed spirits. You were now running at a deadly pace to lure them into your trap – hundreds of cursed tools poised and ready to kill every last spirit.
Sweat ran down the length of your spine as you finally rounded the corner of the alley, immediately skidding on the concrete, using your cursed technique to shoot the weapons forward, meeting their destined targets.
Shrieks rang out through the alley from the dying spirits, blood staining the stones beneath their bodies.
Without looking back, you summon your own cursed spirit, Osu. You named it, even though you knew you shouldn’t. With the raise of your hand, Osu opened their mouth as you summoned the cursed weapons, funneling them one by one into Osu.
“Good work,” you smiled, affectionately patting the top of Osu’s gray leathery head. The spirit seemed to pur in response, leaning into the warmth of your hand.
With that, you sent the cursed spirit back to the in-between, which is what you called the shadows you send your shikigami to.
You sighed deeply.
It seems there are more and more cursed spirits these days. I left the sorcerers of Tokyo 10 years ago, but it seems I am still doing their dirty work.
With a look at your blood-stained clothes, you sigh once again as you make your way back to your apartment.
The citizens of Tokyo walk by, blissfully unaware of the danger that lurks in each of their mundane thoughts. Lights of neon billboards light the smoggy night air as cars speed past your relaxed figure.
You used to hate them. People who didn’t have a cursed technique or couldn’t sense cursed energy. For how weak and useless they were, how they contributed to the problems you had to clean up. The lives of friends that have been lost that you’ll never get back.
After the Star Plasma Vessel incident, you were convinced that you no longer wanted to be a sorcerer. You were on a mission in Nagasaki when it happened. You were ordered by the higher-ups to return immediately to protect the vessel, Riko Amanai.
As soon as you received the order you moved, getting to Tokyo in just 6 hours.
But you were too late.
Toji Fushiguro had successfully killed Riko Amanai, and disabled Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. This was the first update you got. The second was when you arrived in Tokyo. Satoru killed Toji Fushiguro and secured Riko’s body.
You shivered as you entered your apartment. You remembered Satoru's face that day of Riko’s memorial service, cold and emotionless.
That day changed everything. For everyone…
“Hiiiikaaarrriiii~?” you called into the room, flipping on the light switch to find someone sitting on your couch.
“Yo,”
The familiar voice called and you stopped cold, keys falling out of your hands.
Your cat, Hikari, lay in his lap, soft belly up, purring at the sensation of his long fingers scratching her.
Traitor.
You quietly cursed your cat as you crossed your arms over your chest, pulling a cold mask over your shocked features.
“Satoru,” you say coldly narrowing your eyes at the man who you haven’t seen in 10 years. Instead of heavily tinted sunglasses he now wore a black band around his eyes. Now he dressed casually instead of his usual black uniform.
He’s not here on business.
His laugh sounded through the room, light and airy, but you knew it was fake. You had spent too much time with him, even now, you knew him like the back of your hand.
“I never thought you would be so cold towards me, y/n!” he smiled, the kind of smile he displayed when he wanted to be friendly, but knew he would win whatever argument he was in.
I’m annoyed.
“Satoru, I am no longer a sorcerer. I have no place in your world. I declared as much all those years ago. Leave.”  your voice was so stern it made Hikari rise from her place in Satoru's lap and come caress your leg as if comforting you.
He paused for a moment, smile dropping from his face, as he studied you. He peeled off his blindfold, exposing those brilliant blue eyes. A stark contrast against his moon-pale skin and silver hair. The world seemed to rest in his eyes as they seemed to sparkle with life.
You didn’t falter. Instead, you held his piercing gaze, refusing to bow to the man you once loved hopelessly.
“I came to warn you. So before you try to kill me, hear me out.”
Your eye twitched at his words. A taunt mixed with sincerity. He had always been a cocky arrogant bastard, but his expression was so serious it scared you. So much so that you nodded and sat across from him.
“Nice place, by the way.” he offered and you scoffed in return, telling him with your eyes to get to the point.
He held up his hands, took a deep breath, then spoke.
“In the next few years, the Jujutsu world is going to change.”
If it were anyone else, you would’ve punched them for telling you bullshit that doesn’t involve you but… That serious expression didn’t leave his face.
“Which curse is it?” Satoru held no fear for himself, but rather for everyone around him, including civilians, ever since Riko.
“A first-year name Yuta Okkotsu showed up with a cursed sword imbedded with a high-class curse named Rika. Geto attacked him…”
Geto? I knew Suguru defected, but to attack a student? How far gone is he?
Satoru swallowed and then continued.
“Geto is dead… But y/n, this is just the beginning. There’s a group collecting Ryomen Sukunas fingers.”
You didn’t hide your shock.
“They’re trying to resurrect him…” you whispered, nearly to yourself but he heard you while nodding, confirming your suspicion.
“That’s why the curses are gathering in greater numbers, they’re feeding off the chaos. My guess is the group is trying to bring the glory days of the curses back. Which means –”
“They’re going to raise the number of sorcerers, but they can’t do that with you around.”
Your eyebrows knitted together.
What are you getting at, Satoru?
“Exactly, I don’t know how they plan to disable me. But when that happens, they’re going to need you y/n. Innocent lives will be lost if you don’t step in, but it has to be at the right moment. They’ve forgotten about you, about your skill how your strength was second to mine…”
You were already shaking your head. The thought of going back to that power-hungry world. That bloody world…
“Y/n think–”
“No,” you said breathlessly, Satoru's emotionless face of that day flashing in your mind. How he was a hollow shell for the remainder of that final year.
It broke something inside of you. You had seen so many deaths, but to see him, the man who smiled so carefree and bright be rendered to… That? Sure, he gained a deeper connection to his power, but at what cost?
“Y/n,” he said your name, voice softer as he reached across the coffee table, his warm fingers brushing yours.
“No, Satoru. You don’t know what you’re asking me to do.”
How could he? Your feelings were one-sided, to begin with.
Back then, you watched as girls flirted with him as he flirted back. Yet you were always there. You always listened to him when he needed someone to talk to about his scars, about the shadows that chased his light. He did the same for you, but perhaps it was out of pity.
You pulled your hand out of his touch, foreign and familiar. Even after all this time, your skin still missed him.
“You’re asking me to step back into the world I hate the most, but only after something horrible happens to you…?” your eyes stung as you finally met his gaze. His features were blurry, but you could see his fair eyebrows knitted together as he bit his inner cheek.
“I won’t die,” he promised, voice soft and vulnerable, a voice that you had only heard once before.
Your lip quivered.
“There are things worse than death, Satoru Gojo. I rather die, than watch you suffer again,” you admitted.
His eyes widened at your words, shock plain on his face but you didn’t care, you pressed on.
“I will not go through that again… When I got that call saying you had been disabled by Toji Fushiguro I felt like I couldn’t breathe. It was as if all the air in the world had evaporated. I traveled through the in-between to get to you. Only to find you…” your words died in your throat as salty tears fell from your eyes.
Shaking your head, you ran your hands down your thighs to ground yourself to reality.
Satoru was wordless. Which was rare for him.
He hadn’t stopped looking for y/n for the past 10 years.
When she suddenly announced her separation he felt lost. He had gained a lot, but he lost everything important to him. She had been there for him since the beginning, and he for her.
He recalled the first time he had ever seen her cry. There was a rumor that she had no feelings, that the strong female sorcerer was all ice with no heart. But when he saw her high up in a tree, knees tucked into her chest, rocking slightly, he realized they couldn’t be more wrong.
It’s not that she didn’t feel, it’s that she felt too much, lost too much to the point where she didn’t want to let anyone close to her fragile heart.
Satoru stared at y/n’s current crying frame, he watched as she tried to steel herself. Hands rubbing her thighs to try and soothe her pain, to ground herself. She chewed on her bottom lip as she concentrated between his eyebrows, unable to truly meet his eyes.
Memories of their past flashed in his mind. Particularly the night he opened up to her about growing up in the Gojo clan, and the things he had done leading up to attending Jujutsu High.
They were stuck on a mission together, the atmosphere was awkward and they only talked when discussing how to swiftly dispose of the lower-level cursed spirit. Satoru was particularly annoyed because he thought he was given such a remedial task, one that was without Suguru which at that point the two of them had become inseparable.
“Y/n, are you always so serious?” Satoru drew out his voice while leaning over her shoulder, lazily craning his neck to meet her eyes over his glasses.
She simply waved him off with an elegant hand while rolling her eyes.
“The sooner we finish this mission the sooner I can be done with you.” She sighed, popping a piece of gum in her mouth as she pressed on.
What is wrong with this girl? Usually, women kill to get a chance to be alone with me.
“Hey hey hey aren’t you being a little too mean? After all, you should feel grateful that I am here.” he boasted, stuffing his hands into his pockets, matching her brisk pace easily thanks to his long legs.
Her features further dropped into annoyance as she eyed him sidelong with one eyebrow raised, as if in a warning.
“I have no idea why we got put together. Anyways Gojo, we’re going to be entering the area where the cursed spirit was sighted. Even though it’s reported as a low-level curse we should still be cautious.” the woman scolded as she pushed a piece of her long hair behind her ear. For some reason, that act alone distracted him.
“I’m not worried since nothing can touch me. Unless I want it to of course.” he shrugged and she rolled her eyes again.
“Yes while you may feel invincible, I am not blessed with your lovely Infinity skill. So I will continue being careful.” another bemused sigh escaped her full lips.
Why am I so distracted right now? Is it because I know she’s putting up a front?
He was lost in thought for a while till her voice called out into the silence.
“This should be it. You remember the plan, right?” her eyes meet his over her shoulder, a coy smile tugging on her lips.
“Of course.” he returned her smile.
“Well, that was easy.” Satoru whistled looking at the pathetic excuse for a curse. Its corpse lay motionless on the floor of the abandoned skyscraper.
“Too easy…” y/n said, voice wary.
She crouched down in front of the corpse, face emotionless, eyes dissecting every aspect of the curse trying to find its secrets.
Scary. She’s too smart.
Her plan went effortlessly. She had him drop his technique entirely so they couldn’t be sensed. She went in alone since the curse was reported to only attack young women. He was to tail her, concealing his existence until the curse showed itself. Once it did, all he had to do was attack it with his cursed energy.
“Such a weak curse.” Satoru clicked his tongue, hands returning to his pockets.
Why did we even get put on this mission? Y/n maybe I could see, but me? Why couldn’t I go on the mission with Suguru? I can’t–
“GOJO MOVE!”
At that exact moment, he felt a huge amount of cursed energy that he didn’t sense earlier, but he was too late.
Y/n had jumped in front of his body, shielding him from the attack.
Y/n looked at Satoru with wide eyes as the cursed spirit stabbed through her abdomen. Blood spilled from the wound and her mouth as the spirit pulled back.
In a second he killed it, but it didn’t matter.
Y/n fell to the ground, hand tightly pressed to her wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
Panic bubbled in his chest as he quickly ran to her side, taking off his jacket and shirt, beginning to rip the fabric into ribbons.
“What’re you?” she asked weakly, color already draining from her face.
“Don’t talk, move your hand.” she hesitated, but she moved her trembling hand from the wound.
Shit, I need to stop the bleeding. I could use the Reversed Curse– no, too risky. I haven’t practiced enough.
He moved her jacket and shirt up, exposing her bright red stomach. Taking a deep breath in, he begins stuffing her wound.
Y/n screams out in pain as Satoru stuffs the hole, packing it as tightly as he can and he does the same to her back. Despite the pain she was in, she forced her body to be still for him.
“Almost done,” he promised to her, she only nodded through gritted teeth. Her skin was clammy and cool to the touch.
She’s going into shock.
Hastily he secures the packed wound with the remainder of his t-shirt and then wraps her in his jacket. He watched her face for a minute, her breathing is ragged and her eyes are tightly shut as if she was trying to block out the world.
“I’m going to move us now, can you hold onto me?” she nodded weakly as she reached up wrapping her arms around his neck.
Her blood smeared all over Satoru’s bare chest and stomach as he stood. He pulled her higher to have her head rest in the crook of his neck to try and return some warmth to her skin.
I can’t take her to a hospital right now… There will be too much of a commotion if I do that. Better if I take her to a hotel for the evening and call someone in secretly to treat her.
With one last look down at her he prayed for the first time in years that she survived the night.
“I’m happy you have half a brain Gojo.” Shoko chided as she finished healing Y/n’s wound.
They both had been dressed in fresh clothes thanks to Shoko.
“If you didn’t act when you did, she would have died because you’re trash,” she added, pulling out a cigarette and making her way to the balcony. He followed behind wordlessly, lost too much in his thoughts to truly take in her words.
Shoko was always with Suguru and Satoru, and she is skilled with her Reversed Curse Technique. Thankfully she answered when he called, if she didn’t he might’ve had to do it himself…
“Thank you for coming,” he said in reply, and she eyed him while she lit her cigarette, taking a long drag of smoke.
“Where’s Suguru?” she asked instead of responding to his thanks.
“Another mission. They stuck the two of us together. It was supposed to be just one curse. But…” his words died.
It’s my fault. I got distracted. I let her get hurt.
Shoko sighed, reading his mood, and took another pull of her cigarette.
“She’s alive, that’s all that matters.” she flicked the ash over the edge of the balcony.
“I won’t tell the higher-ups, I’ll keep this a secret. But learn from this and be more careful in the future. Not everyone can protect themselves as you can.” she took another long pull, blew out the smoke, and put out the bud.
“I am leaving, call me if anything changes.”
He watched as Shoko left and then positioned himself on the chair in front of the bed that housed y/n.
The pain was gone from her features but she was still far too pale. The blood that colored her cheeks was gone. The tips of her fingers felt impossibly cold. He had to keep watching the rise and fall of her chest to remind himself she was still alive.
Hours passed like that, guilt wracking his mind as he watched her sleep, then she woke up.
“Gojo?” she called weakly, hand immediately going to her once wounded abdomen.
Her face twisted in confusion as she continuously touched the skin there, feeling for the hole.
“Shoko healed you.”
His voice was soft and raw, he had no masks to put on today. He couldn’t, not after what she did for him.
She nodded once, wincing as she positioned herself on her side so she was facing him.
“Why do you look like that?” she asked while running a hand through her messy hair.
“Like what?” he knit his eyebrows together.
Why is she already picking a fight?
“Like a wounded puppy.” with a huff, she flicked his forehead. Of course, he had let her, but it still left him surprised.
“See, that’s better. That face suits you way more.” she smiled softly with cracked lips.
“What face?” some life returned to his voice.
“The face of a surprised idiot.” nodding as if proud of herself, she burrowed further into the blanket.
“Why’d you do it…?”
“Hm?”
“Why’d you jump in front of me, y/n? You know about my skills and yet you…” he shook his head, unable to finish the sentence.
She seemed to ponder the question for a moment, eyes on the ceiling.
Clearing her throat she spoke.
“You may not have noticed it, but you let your technique drop. I felt the difference in the energy. As soon as I noticed the spirit's attack there was no way I could counter-attack in time to save you. So if you look at the scales, and ask what life holds more value, it’s yours. So I choose you.” she said it so matter-of-factly, the blatant disregard for her own life, saying it held less value than his own.
“What?”
He couldn’t wrap his head around it. From a young age, people have tried to kill him. He was positive even the old higher-ups wanted him dead but didn’t want to face the consequences of killing the head of the Gojo Clan. Yet here this girl, who he barely knows, is saying that his life is more important to her than her own.
She smiled as if reading his thoughts.
“Although I hate to admit it, you have the power to change this world. I do not. If I could save the world's savior, then maybe my tarnished soul could be spared.” her voice was sweet like honey, but her words struck him deeply.
“Tarnished soul?” he repeated her words like an echo.
She smiled again, though this time sadness traced her features, settling into her eyes.
“You saved my life, so I suppose I could share some of my demons.” she ran her hands along the blanket.
“I discovered my curse technique when I was young. Being able to sense cursed energy and summon Shikigami came very easily to me…”
She considered something for a moment, then continued.
“You see, my home life wasn’t what you would call a ‘Happy Family’. So I was glad to have a distraction.” she paused, again running her hands along the blanket as if she was soothing herself.
“One day I came home early from school with my report card. I had gotten straight A’s so I wanted to show my parents. I entered our small home only to find my father stabbing my mother… Out of fear and rage, I attacked and killed him. It was also then that I discovered I possessed the Reversed Curse Technique. I tried for hours to heal my dead mother to no avail. Her wounds closed, but her heart didn’t beat. The police found the scene two days later, with me hugging my mother's body…” By the time she finished, her words were barely a whisper.
Silence fell in the room, only the sound of their breaths filled the space. For some time, neither of them spoke.
“I have never told anyone that.” she professed, voice shaky and unsure.
Not knowing what to say, he reached for her hand. She accepted his touch, and he enclosed her fingers with his, her hand feeling impossibly small.
“Your soul isn’t tarnished.”
She met his eyes, hand trembling in his. Something about her expression was so raw, so vulnerable that he felt that he needed to wrap his arms around her and protect her from the world that had taken so much.
“I killed my blood,” she shakily whispered, tears pricking her eyes. He soothed her by rubbing soft circles into her palm.
“So have I…”
“I can’t promise you anything, y/n,” he answered honestly, recalling the pain she shared with him. Knowing full well how much of him she held in her heart, and how much of her he held in his…
She ran her hands down her face, nails lightly digging into her skin.
He read the reports of her movements when Mei had found her. She did networking remotely for a hospital but still went out of her way to hunt down cursed spirits. Going after nests or high-grade curses, to help alleviate the risks for students training at Jujutsu High.
When he got the reports months ago, he almost dropped everything to see her then. But everything got so busy with Yuta.
Now that he’s here, all the things he wanted to say died in his throat. The sight of her shaking and crying, the tears he only ever got to see, made his knees weak and his resolve crumble.
Women were always interested in him, some he entertained, but none he cared for. Not in the way he cared for Y/n… No one compared.
“You’re those kids' best hope if I get taken out of the fight,” he said honestly.
He thought of his new dream, and re-strengthened his mind, trying not to let his resurfaced feelings sway him.
Her eyes met his, and his breath caught in his throat.
Time had been kind, and her beauty only grew. Eyes mature and loving, face kind and warm. So different from how she looked as a sorcerer.
She took him in for a moment, for the first time since she arrived she truly looked at him, she saw him.
He felt naked under her gaze, he had never been self-conscious, but with her, he felt nervous. Fearful he wasn’t enough, that he wouldn’t ever be enough.
“You’re playing dirty, Satoru Gojo, by bringing the next generation into this.” he watched as she sighed, shoulders curving inwards as she leaned back against her chair. Her blood-stained clothes clung to her skin.
“Then you’re agreeing?” she nodded, stress already lining her face.
Before he could talk, she spoke.
“Now if this concludes your business, leave.” the edge from earlier returned to her voice. It threw him for a loop.
“You don’t want to talk?” his voice, though sounding normal to anyone else, sounded pathetic to his ears.
She eyed him again, eyelashes wet from her tears.
Beautiful.
“Satoru… What do you want from me?”
Your heart was in your throat.
You agreed to sign yourself back up for pain because Satoru was right. If he was taken out of the fight, those kids will need someone to help them, your personal feelings aside.
But how could it not be personal? When the man you loved, who you still love, sat across from you with an open unguarded expression. Practically begging you to continue talking to him.
You spent years trying to forget him. The memories you both shared, the internal wounds you healed together. You tried finding your peace in others, but it was futile. The sight of his smiling face still shined brightly behind your eyes. The stories of his achievements chased your ears.
You sighed, running your hands through your hair whilst awaiting his answer.
“Do you still feel the same about me, y/n?”
Bastard. Answering my question with a question.
“Does it matter? You never saw me in that light, to begin with,” you answered him bitterly, some of your anger returning to the surface.
Genuine shock filled his beautiful eyes.
“I. Why do you think that?” he cocked his head to the side as if studying you.
“It was obvious, Satoru. In many people's eyes, you are a God. Women practically threw themselves at you, and you greedily took in all their advances. I watched it happen time and time again. If you harbored feelings for me, you wouldn’t have acted that way.”
The truth hung between you. You ran your hands along your thighs to calm yourself, not wanting to cry for a second time this evening.
You made to stand, but Satoru caught your wrist, halting you in place.
“I took you for granted,” he admitted eyes on the floor.
The warmth of his hand spread to your flesh. Your skin sang at the feeling, your pores drank him in, missing him as much as your heart did.
You stayed silent. The air between you two was impossibly heavy as your heart pounding against your chest, like a bird trying to escape its cage.
“I won’t apologize with my words…” he stood, now towering over you, even with the coffee table separating your bodies.
Those beautiful, intense eyes pinned you in place. You now truly looked at him for the second time this evening.
He grew into his features more, now even more beautiful than he was when you were a teen. He was unreal, like that of a painting. All silver as if he was pure moonlight with eyes like the clearest sapphires. You resisted the urge to take his face in your hands, to greedily bask in his warmth – in his scent.
Satoru walked around the table as he gently let go of your wrist. Instead, he place both his hands on your cheeks, cupping your face as his long fingers tangled themselves in your hair. Despite yourself, you leaned into his touch, closing your eyes.
I’m still so weak to you.
“Will you let me make it up to you?” his soft voice whispered, thumbs rubbing your cheeks.
You trembled at his touch. He was close enough that you could smell him, the smell of fresh summer rain and jasmine. Beautiful and alluring – it was home. He was home…
Satoru crouched down now, his face just mere inches from your own. Your breaths mixed as he stared at you so sincerely it made your chest hurt.
You gently grabbed his wrists.
“I can’t lose you…” the words came out of your throat in a croak. The thought of him being hurt or worse frightened you. It made your blood run cold and your stomach churn.
“I am yours, y/n.”
Not a promise that nothing will happen to him, but a promise of his heart, and that it belongs to you.
You nearly wept, the words you thought you would never hear now filled your ears. You almost thought this was some twisted dream, and that at any moment reality would slam into you the way it always has.
“And I am yours, I have been since that day you saw me crying in that tree.” a confession of your heart fell from your lips. One that you held so close and suppressed like a child's dream thinking it will never come true.
He pressed his lips to yours. A soft sweet pressure that made your stomach flutter. You fit so perfectly together that it was dizzying. His lips moved smoothly and passionately against your own, tongue licking your bottom lip asking for permission which you granted.
The taste of him caressed your tongue, the smell of him filled your senses, the press of his warm body against your own it all made your toes curl. Your tongues danced as your fingers found their way to his silken hair, tugging slightly, pulling him deeper into the kiss.
You had been kissed before, but nothing compared to this. The way his tongue teased yours, the loving press of his soft lips, and the reassuring pressure of his hands against your face; made your knees weak. There was a painful desperation between you two. The unspoken fear that you’ll never see each other again.
His hands slid from your face to your waist, pulling you closer to his body. You gasped at the contact, heat spreading from your face to your chest at the feeling of his firm muscles against your torso.
You were so lost in the feeling of him you forgot you had to breathe, so he pulled away first– a string of saliva connecting your swollen lips as he rested his forehead against yours.
You both breathed heavily, eyes hooded and dark with desire.
He caressed your face as if he was trying to remember every curve, dip, and pore that resided there.
“Y/n,” he whispered breathlessly, desperation coating his voice.
“Satoru,” you answered, just as winded as him.
“Don’t run away again…”
Your eyes widened.
He pulled his face back, allowing himself a full view of your features as he lovingly massaged your scalp.
“I understand why you left. But you didn’t even say goodbye.”
Blue eyes searched yours as if trying to find answers to the questions he’s had for years. Your mind went blank as your blood still sang with praise from the press of his lips, already missing his warmth.
You overlapped his large hands with your small ones, gently rubbing the sides of his palms.
“I won’t run,” you promised.
He didn’t move, his eyes still searched yours indefinitely. Almost as if he was holding his breath, waiting for you to change your mind.
“I won’t run, I'll fight for you, and for our future.” those words removed the invisible chain that shackled your heart. For so long, you held everyone at arm's length, but where did it get you? You were tired of pushing away your feelings.
A smile slowly spread across Satorus's face. It was a dazzlingly unpracticed smile, a real smile. One that was only for you.
“Our future?” he repeated while humming as if thinking your words over.
You bit your bottom lip in embarrassment as the blush on your cheeks deepened. You got carried away by the moment and perhaps spoke too honestly.
“I think I like the sound of that,” he murmured then began planting feather-soft kisses on your cheek.
You bit back your giggle as he continued trailing kisses to your nose, forehead, jawline, then the corner of your mouth.
“Satoru” you called softly, running your hands down the length of his strong arms, hands settling on his shoulders to steady yourself.
“Hm?” he purred innocently into your skin, lips ghosting over the expanse of your neck. The heat from earlier returned to your bones at his touch.
“I am exhausted,” you admitted.
You had spent all day tracking the reported nest. You then used up a fair amount of your cursed energy for the attack. On top of that you just went through a whirlwind of emotions you still have yet to process.
He pulls his face from your neck, eyes now filled with concern as he traces your body for any sign of injury.
You half sigh half laugh as you take his face in your hands, shaking his head slightly.
“I.Am.Fine.” you drag out each word from your lips, tilting his head at each word as if it would make it reach his brain.
You watch as his eyes gloss over as if missing your point entirely.
You sigh, gently stepping out of the warmth of his embrace and gesture to your still blood-soaked body.
“I need a shower, hot tea, and decompression time. It’s been a long day with surprises.” you smooth your hands over your face as the weight of the day settles over you, the excitement of early slowly dissipating.
A smirk pulled on the corner of Satoru’s full lips as a mischievous look filled his eyes.
“It’s quite late, isn’t it?” he mused, playfulness in his tone as he rubbed his chin.
“Yes, it is,” you confirmed slowly, not quite catching what he was planning.
“Well, it would be troublesome for me to leave at this hour, due to the trains stopping for the night. I mean, you know how far Jujutsu High is.”
Your eye twitched. He wasn’t wrong, of course, but what he was implying–
“So I guess I have to stay the night!” he said cheerily, extending his arms over his head like a child spinning in a circle.
I only have one bed… The loveseat is too small for his stupidly long figure.
Heat rushes to your cheeks as you briskly brush past him.
“I am sure you make enough money, go find a hotel,” you say hurriedly, making your way over to your bathroom.
You hear his light footsteps right behind you, entering your bathroom with you.
“Awww, why are you being like that? After we just kissed too?” though he pursed his lips to a pout, his eyes were full of humor.
He’s enjoying this too much.
“Are you saying because we kissed you have earned yourself the right to be in my bed?” you crossed your arms over your chest, making sure to push your full breasts up while jutting out a hip. You wore a breezy white button-up shirt and black pants. A plain outfit sure, but one that complimented your silhouette.
If he was going to tease you, you were going to return the favor.
You watched as he swallowed his saliva, eyes taking in your figure as they danced with desire. He stood several inches taller than you, and it didn’t help that you were in the confined space of your restroom. With your back pressed against the wall, he peered down at you, eyes hungrily taking in the sight of you.
He placed an arm above your head, pinning you in place.
“If I said I won’t do anything unprovoked would you believe me?” he asked his voice deep and low which made your stomach flutter. A smirk was playing on his lips, one that would make most women swoon.
You licked your lips, throat suddenly feeling dry.
“You always do what you want. You get what you want when you want it. So no, I do not believe you.” you continued to meet his heated stare, which seemed to please him. His fingers tilted your chin up further, making you crane your neck up to him.
“Are you suggesting I want you, y/n?” he purred, already knowing your answer.
You rubbed your legs together, trying to relieve some of that growing pressure between the apex of your thighs. A movement that didn’t go unnoticed by Satoru.
“I’m sorry, am I supposed to assume otherwise when you follow me into a bathroom and pin me against a wall? Or do you do this with all your friends?” there was one thing you never lacked, and that was your quick temper. Thanks to that, sarcasm tended to lick your words at all times.
His hand gripped your face, fingers lightly squeezing your cheeks.
“But are we truly just friends, y/n?” he brought his face closer to yours, hot breath tickling your skin.
“I recall,” he hummed as he took his free hand and trailed it down your clothed sternum. “You called yourself mine earlier.”
Your mind was cloudy, dizzy from the proximity of his face, the warmth of his hand gripping your cheeks, the smell of his skin, the soft caress of his voice; all of him was a drug, one that you could get high off of forever.
“I did,” you confirmed swallowing your dry saliva, trying to keep your voice steady.
Anticipation coursed through your veins as his finger continued to travel down your abdomen, hooking under the hem of your ruined shirt.
“Would you like me to show you how well I take care of things that are mine?” Satoru hummed, hot finger swirling around your belly button.
His long eyelashes lowered, making his intense gaze turn sultry and possessive. You forget to breathe for a moment, the heat between your legs spreading like a fire to your stomach, responding to his soft touch.
You bit your lip, your weak attempt at trying to resist him; crumbling with each mixed breath.
“What do you say, y/n? Will you let me worship you?” he dragged his finger up your stomach, playfully pushing under the band of your bra, just below your breast. Your breath hitched as he pressed his lips to your ear, tongue licking your soft lobe.
“Will you let me claim what's mine?” teeth grazed the soft shell of your ear and you gasped, head tilting back as the feeling went straight to your sex.
“Y-Yes,” you whispered, giving up your control, dropping your last barrier.
You felt him smile against your skin as he wrapped his hand around your waist.
“Good girl,”
You had to bite back the moan that threatened to escape your throat as he roughly kissed you, the press of his lips hungry and desperate. Strong hands wrapped themselves around your soft thighs, hiking you up the wall so he could press his hips into yours, hard cock pressing against your need.
Locking your legs around his waist you tangled your hands into his hair, fighting his tongue for dominance, clinging to the taste of him. He let a satisfied moan escape into your mouth as you dragged your teeth along his tongue, pulling it further into your mouth, sucking on the muscle.
He grabbed your ass shaking it roughly, the action making your clothed clit rubbed against his throbbing cock. You moaned greedily into his mouth as he possessively bit your bottom lip, tongue swirling along the swollen flesh.
Pressing his body further into yours, he removed his hands from your rear and began undoing your blouse, lips never leaving your own. He teasingly brushed his fingers over your clothed peaked nipples as he tantalizingly exposed you to him. Expert fingers crawled up your spine to your bra, undoing its clasp.
Supporting your weight with one arm, he took one step backward so he could remove the clothes that kept your skin from him.
He pulled back from the lull of your lips so he could admire you. Your breasts were heavy against your chest as your nipples ached, crying to be touched as the rest of your body did.
Satoru let out a satisfied sigh, eyes taking in your breasts as well as the tattoos that decorated your ribs and sternum.
“My fucking God you are perfect,” he praised, freely tracing his hand over the ink of your tattoos, lighting your skin ablaze.
“Mm, Satoru,” you whined lightly, tightening your legs around his waist to try and give yourself some relief.
He laughed darkly, his pupils swallowed his eyes entirely as pure desire resided in them.
“Eager for my dick, are you?” he hummed, two fingers pushing past your lips. You obediently sucked them, hollowing out your cheeks as you coated his flesh with your saliva as if this was your answer to his question.
You reveled in his pleased expression, he played with your tongue a bit while marveling at you. Ever-so-slowly, he removed his fingers from your mouth. He then scissored your thick, stringy saliva between his fingers, placed them in his mouth, and hummed in satisfaction.
Your insides turned molten at the sight. His eyes never left yours, even when he dragged his fingers out of his mouth. It was as if he wanted to drink you in, commit your every reaction to memory. He had barely touched you, but you could feel your wetness soak through your jeans. Your walls throbbed, practically begging to be fucked by him.
He read your expression easily, smirked, and then pressed his lips to yours instantly claiming dominance over your swollen lips. You were too lost in him to even noticed he had moved to your room, gently placing you down on your bed.
Lips trailing white-hot fire down your neck, he hooked his sinful fingers under the waistband of your jeans. He made quick work of taking the fabric off your skin and he kissed, sucked, and nipped at your neck. You moaned, all earlier pride washing away while being steadily replaced with lust.
You spread your legs wide for him, your sex, still clothed, had completely soaked your panties. Cool air kissed your heated flesh and you hissed, earning yourself a chuckle from Satoru. He rubbed gentle circles into the plush of your thighs, making you squirm with impatience.
He stepped back and you trailed him, sliding your fingers under his shirt, tugging it off his deliciously toned body.
“It’s maddening that you still have clothes on,” you admitted, bringing your knees under you, and planting kisses on his abdomen. He cursed at the touch, fingers entangling themselves in your hair as his gaze burned through you.
“Mm, you look so pretty on your knees for me, y/n.” he encouraged you as he lightly dug his fingers into your scalp.
You began taking off his pants as you trailed your tongue up his torso, his body shuddering against you as began sucking right above his hipbone.
You ensured to leave his boxers on, as he left your panties on you. It was driving you insane having a barrier between you two, but it was also a fun game you knew he was playing; who will cave first?
Ensuring to keep eye contact, you ghost your hand over his clothed length as you dip your tongue under the waistband of his boxers, feeling the stubble of his regrowing pubic hairs against your tongue. His eyelashes flutter as the hand in your hair trembles, you could tell he was holding back. Seeing him this way made your core throb.
“Are you trying to tease me?” he breathed heavily, chest rising and falling above you. It served as your encouragement. Purely drunk off the sight of him being so sensitive to your touch.
For a response, hummed innocently as you didn’t stop your teasing. With your other hand, you slid it up his left leg ensuring it entered his boxers, skillfully avoiding his balls and shaft while you softly swirled your fingers dangerously near where he wanted your touch.
His cock twitched, lightly hitting your hand and you smirked, biting into his hip, eliciting a moan from his throat. You moaned sweetly into his flesh, which drove him mad.
His hands found your shoulders and pinned you down to the bed as his lips found your clavicle, tongue tracing the length of the bone.
“Who knew,” he whispered breathlessly into your flesh, hands spreading your legs wide, as he began planting slopping kisses down your chest.
“That the girl who would cry in trees would be so evil?” Satoru licked his way from your sternum to your navel, tongue swirling around the soft skin making you squirm.
You hummed, fingers refinding his hair which prompted him to enclose your wrists with one hand, pinning them above your head. His mouth wrapped around your nipple, tongue expertly teasing the rosy bud making your toes curl. You mewled, back arching into his mouth as pleasure crawled down your spine.
“Who knew that the strongest man in this world would be so weak to my touch?” you challenged back, voice breathy and low. You earned yourself a nip to your nipple, making you yelp as your walls clenched at the feeling.
Satoru seemed to like your comment about him being strong because he happily worked your full breasts with his mouth, giving you a sensation of pleasure you never experienced before. Your soft moans filled the room, which only encouraged him more. Every lick, suck, and bite brought you closer to that edge.
He noticed too, humming into your skin and then removing his mouth, making you let out a needy whine in protest.
“Were you close, y/n?” he cooed, lips traveling south.
“Asking questions you already know the answers to?” you answered slyly, hands struggling against his iron grip. You wanted to replace the warmth your breasts had lost; wanting to chase the taste of pleasure he gave you.
“I always do, sweetheart.”
He smiled up at you, face between your legs, his breath tickling your needy sex. He inhaled deeply, making you blush even harder but you didn’t break eye contact, refusing to lose to him.
“Look at you, y/n. You're such a mess for me,” he clicked his tongue and dragged his finger up your wet, clothed pussy. Fire pooled in your gut at the lingering sensation of his finger. Your body trembled. You bit your lip, concealing the throaty moan that threatened you.
Satoru got on his knees and pulled you closer to the edge of the bed, your dripping core mere inches from his face. Without hesitation, he licked his way up your clothed cunt in a zig-zag-like motion, stopping just before reaching your swollen clit. You moaned loudly at the sudden pressure as your stomach tightened at the pleasure.
“Your panties are so soaked, and you wore white, too. Almost like you knew,” His voice vibrated against you, making you shiver.
He planted another lick on you, again stopping right before he reached your bundle of nerves, avoiding where you wanted him most.
“You taste so good baby.” he praised while continuing to slowly lick your pussy, your legs began to shake as your body screamed for more. He dug his strong hands into your hips, pinning you to the bed to keep you still for him.
It felt so good, but also incomplete. With each swipe of his tongue, he moaned appreciatively, drinking in your scent, losing himself in the taste of your need, but never fully giving you what you want.
“S-Satoru, mm, please.” you pleaded helplessly, submitting to him fully.
“Be a good girl for me and tell me what I want to hear, y/n.”
Another long lick without relief, you whimpered.
“Beg for me,” he whispered darkly, tongue licking above your clit just for emphasis.
“I-I am yours,” you panted, the ability to form coherent sentences increasingly becoming hard for you with each press of his tongue.
“And?” he coaxed, fingers now joining his dance as he rubbed two of them against you.
You recalled his words from earlier this evening.
“I want you to worship me,” you moaned loudly at the slight brush of his finger against your clit.
“What else, y/n? Tell me what you want.” his teeth are now wrapped around the lace of your panties, ready to pull them down at your words.
You swallowed your pride, allowing yourself to be consumed whole by his eyes.
“I want you to fuck me. With your mouth, with your fingers, with your cock. I want you to fuck me however you want, Satoru. I am yours, and you are mine.” as the words left your lips, he peeled your panties off your body.
Cool air kissed your throbbing pussy making you quiver.
“I am going to make you forget every man that came before me.”
The pure promise of his words nearly drove you over the edge, but nothing could compare to what came next.
His tongue licked up your dripping cunt, making your juices drip down to your ass. He growled anomalistically into you as you coated his tongue. You tangled your fingers in his hair, the sweet press of his tongue against your clit making you buck your hips.
“You’re so perfect,” he praised into your sex, sending sweet vibrations to the deepest parts of you.
His mouth wrapped around your clit, tongue swirling and sucking your bundle of nerves, sending delicious waves of pleasure through your firey veins. Breathing was impossible, you became a moaning mess for him. His name left your lips like a prayer, and he drank it up. Savoring every bit of your helpless moans, knowing they were all for him.
Without warning, he slid two warm fingers into your slick walls, momentarily stretching you, then removing them entirely.
What?
You knitted your eyebrows because the only noise you could make was strangled pleasure-filled moans.
But soon, those two fingers enter your ass, as his thumb entered your cunt making you moan uncontrollably.
You were overstimulated, so much pleasure filled you. His free hand came to play with your breasts, pinching a rolling your nipples between his rough nimble fingers. The edge crept back up, the knot in your stomach tightening.
“S-Satoru I’m–” you cried, your release rapidly approaching.
Tears pricked your eyes. No man had ever made you feel this way, let alone make you cum. You were almost afraid of the release.
“Not until I tell you to baby,” he warned, his tongue flicking your clit relentlessly as his fingers pumped both your holes, driving you closer and closer to the deep end.
You clenched your walls hard, trying so desperately to hold back your orgasm, which only made Satoru pump and suck you faster.
“I-I can’t–”
“Cum for me baby,”
His words were your undoing. On his command, you came hard around his fingers, both of your holes shuddering as pleasurable waves crashed over your body. Stars blotted your vision. Your feet became unbearably hot as your hands held his hair for dear life as if it would save you from your overwhelming orgasm.
“Good girl, cum for Daddy.” Satoru praised you, tongue tracing slow circles on you as his hand helped you ride the wave.
You felt like you were floating. Your body was impossibly light as you came down from your high. You tried to remember how to breathe.
Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale.
Wet lips found yours, the taste of you lingering on his tongue as his body hovered over you. You moaned into his mouth, your body sensitive and mind hazy as the after-effects.
Through his searing kiss, you began to reground yourself in reality. You hook your legs behind Satoru’s, then flip your bodies, pleased to find at some point he removed his boxers as your slickness coated him.
“Your turn,” you take his bottom lip between your teeth, dragging them slowly along the plump flesh. He gives you an appreciative smack to your ass, the feeling going straight to your groin.
You trail your lips down his neck, licking and sucking at the supple skin, relishing in the gasp that escapes Satoru’s lips when you lick his ear. Grinding your slick pussy against him, he grunts, hands holding your hips tight enough to leave bruises.
You smile as you feel him grit his teeth, soft pants leaving his lips.
“Feel good Daddy?” you ask innocently, pulling your face back to look at his beautiful face.
His cheeks were flushed with lips wet and parted, eyebrows knitted together, and eyes completely transfixed on your wet pussy grinding against him.
“Mm, you feel good baby,” he says to you softly and watches as you lean back further, placing your hands on his sculpted chest, moving your hips with a deeper pressure.
“Tell me what you want,” you sigh, enjoying the warm feeling of his thick cock against you. His eyes find your face, taking in your satisfied features, smirking at the sight of you getting yourself off by just grinding on him.
He takes your face in his hand and traces your lips with his finger.
“I want you to wrap that pretty little mouth of yours around my cock.”
The heat in his gaze alone nearly drives you over the edge, so you oblige him. Making a show of you getting on all fours for his lying down frame, wiggling your ass in the air for him, earning yourself another spank.
You take his member in your hand, pumping him a few times, marveling at his length and girth. Satoru just watched you, sucking in air between his teeth at your touch.
Bigger than anyone I’ve ever had…
Meeting his eyes, you brought your lips to his tip. Sucking and swirling your tongue, humming when the salty yet sweet taste of his precum hits your lips. His expression darkened as you moved your mouth down his shaft, hollowing out your cheeks, allowing him to travel down your esophagus until your nose touched his stomach.
“S-Shit, y/n.” his hands fisted your hair as you happily shook your mouth around him, causing him to curse again.
Slowly, you make your way back up, licking his underside as your hand cup and gently massage his balls. He’s beautiful, even with the sweat dripping down his brow and his face contours from pleasure.
You begin to pick up your pace. Ensuring to suck harder towards the tip and make slurping and choking noises to stroke his ego. Your saliva thickened as your throat fucked him and as soon as you could comfortably take him he regained control.
Satoru began thrusting his cock in your mouth at a relentless pace, you could see the satisfaction in his eyes as your tears formed and you struggled to breathe.
“You look so beautiful with my cock in your mouth. What a good little slut you are.”
Your walls clenched at his word as you licked and sucked him as best you could with his pace, getting off on the fact that you were pleasing him. You moaned against him, which in turn made his cock twitch.
“Fuck, just like that baby.” he hissed while throwing his head back into the sheets, the base of his cock twitching more and more in your mouth.
Suddenly, he aggressively pulled your head back, completely taking your mouth off of him, saliva dripping from your wet lips.
He laughs, running his thumbs along your cheeks. He pulls himself to a sitting position as you hungrily stare at his glistening angry red cock that stands proudly against his stomach.
“You almost made me cum,” he mused breathlessly, peppering kisses along your cheek.
“Well, that was my intent,” you smile and he groans, flipping your bodies so that you’re under him again.
He aligns himself with your dripping entrance and smiles at you. He smacks his cock against your clit, sending shocks down your spine.
“Tell me to stop if it hurts, okay?” you bit your lips and nodded, earning you another world-shatteringly beautiful smile.
“So perfect,” he murmurs against your lips as he slowly pushes into you, swallowing your gasp.
You tremble as your walls adjust to his thickness, the feeling of him stretching you felt like heaven. Inch by inch he pushes into you, allowing you to adjust to him every step of the way. His tongue plays with yours as he swallows your satisfied moan at the feeling of fullness he gives you.
“Fuck Satoru,” you breathe between the two of you. He nips at your bottom lip as he grabs your legs, allowing himself to bottom out in your pussy.
“You’re so fucking tight, y/n,” He presses his forehead against yours as a shuddering breath passes his lips. You nod your head while digging your fingers into his shoulders, a signal to him to start moving.
He pulls out of you, almost entirely, then rolls his hips back into yours. The feeling makes your stomach tighten, he reached so deep in you as your velvet walls hungrily sucked him back in causing you both to let out a moan.
He picked up his pace, now biting his lower lip in concentration. You couldn’t help yourself as you reached up and caressed his face, marveling at this beautiful man.
“Mine,” you whispered, almost to yourself.
“Yours,” he answered, slamming his hips into you, angling himself to hit that spongey spot that connects right to your clit.
You couldn’t hide the obnoxious moan that left your throat as he hit that spot over and over again, making your eyes roll back.
“Found it,”
You both lost yourselves in the feeling of each other. Him in the warm wet bliss of your walls tightly hugging him, you in the friction and stretch of him. Your mouths were a hot mess of skin, teeth, and saliva. Your hands hungrily gripped one another. His hands find your ass, bringing your hips up to reach a new depth in you, which you returned by meeting his relentless thrusts.
There was a sort of desperation in your movements together, as if you both feared this would be the last time you would be able to express yourselves.
Your breaths became ragged as you felt the approach of your second release. You hopelessly raked your nails down Satoru’s spine. His thrusts became more erratic as you felt his cock twitch inside of you, which caused you to clench around him. He wrapped his hand around your throat, hard enough to leave a mark, light enough to allow you to breathe.
“Fuck baby, I’m close.” he breathed into your ear, hot and heavy. The words brought you closer to the edge.
“I want you to cum for me Daddy.” You said breathlessly, the words falling off your lips in a slur. He grunted, fingers digging into your plump ass.
He sucked the juncture between your neck and shoulder. He reached between your bodies and rubbed expert circles into your clit, sending you over the edge for the second time that evening.
Your release crashed over you hard as your walls clenched around Satoru, taking him over the cliff with you. His seed spilled in you, warm and deep which made you feel so full and satisfied. You moaned helplessly into his shoulder as he whispered your name in your ear as if it was the most precious thing in the world.
Y/n’s body shuddered against him as they came down from their highs together. Satoru rubbed soothing circles against her sweaty back while peppering her hot cheeks with light kisses.
He has had a lot of sex, but nothing ever felt like that to him, ever. His cock was already hard again, deep inside y/n's warm pussy, plugging her full of his seed.
He had no intention of having children, but he needed to claim her, in every way he possibly could. He wasn’t satiated, not even close.
“Y/n,” he pressed a kiss to her soft, swollen lips. Basking in the taste of their combined lust.
“Hm?” she murmured dreamily, long eyelashes fluttering against her deeply flushed cheeks.
“Turn around for me,” he ordered. She whimpered but obediently did as he said.
Sluggishly, she unlatched their bodies and crawled forward on the bed, and got on all fours, shaking her ass in front of his face. He sighed at the sight, watching as their mixed juices streamed down her plump thighs.
Getting on his knees himself, he positioned himself at her entrance, relishing in the way her body shuddered at the contact. Grabbing her long hair and wrapping it around his hand, he slammed his cock into her quivering pussy.
She moaned loudly into the bed as he tilted his head back, getting drunk from the feeling of her tight velvet walls sucking him back in, taking all of him. Satoru didn’t hold back as he greedily fucked her, watching as her ass bruised with his hand prints bounced on his cock.
She cried his name into the bed, hands gripping the sheets as her chest fell to the mattress forcing her back to arch at a harsher angle. He watched as drool pooled from her mouth with her face squished, moving back and forth with each hard thrust of his hips.
“You’re doing so good baby girl,” he moaned meaning every word.
She smiled, lifting her head slightly to meet his eyes, nearly driving him over the edge. He never came quickly before, which is why he was so shocked when he nearly busted from her mouth alone. She had bewitched him, in ways that no woman could even compare. From the feeling of her lips, moans that were soft and musical to his ears, down to the taste that dripped for him. No one came close.
“Mm, you feel so fucking good.” her praise was like honey, making his cock twitch and he set an ungodly pace, hands digging into her hips so he could pull her into his deep thrusts.
“Fuck fuck fuck,” she cursed, her legs shaking beneath him as her walls clenched around him.
He smiled wolfishly, roughly grabbing her face and kissing her. She moaned into his kiss, unable to control the tears falling from her eyes.
Tasting the salt on his tongue, Satoru pulled away and sweetly kissed her tears away.
“Does it hurt baby?” he asked softly, fear suddenly coating his veins.
“N-No, you’re just, ah, so, you feel–” her words were messy and slow, yet he couldn’t help but think she couldn’t look more beautiful to him.
She let down each and every last barrier for him tonight, and he knew how scary that was for her. He wanted to appreciate her, in every way possible, starting with giving her the pleasure that he knew no one had given her. He could tell by her reactions, the surprise on her face at each orgasm that she never came through sex before. It filled him with pride and a sense of ownership.
He slowed his pace, rubbing circles into her lower back to allow her to breathe.
“What is it, love?” he coaxed, lovingly smoothing her hair out of her face.
She gulped down air relaxing into his touch, and she sighed.
“It’s a lot, I-I’ve never.” she closed her eyes, body shuddering against him. Again, he felt her walls clenching him deliciously, it took everything in him not to moan.
“I know, baby. I know,” he assured her, peppering kisses along her spine. His hips moved in sync with hers, matching her pace while enjoying the full feeling of her.
“Do you want to stop?” he offered, but she shook her head with vigor even with her eyes showing signs of exhaustion. He couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped his lips, she was just as drunk off of him as he is of her.
He was enjoying this almost too much. He could do this for hours, but he didn’t know if her body would hold up.
“Good girl,”
At his praise, her pussy responded, clenching hard around him.
He smiled, taking his hand and pressing it to the base of her neck, gently forcing her face down into the bed. She screwed her eyes shut, teeth sinking into her lips to conceal her moan.
With a deep breath in, he picked his pace back up, rolling and hammering his cock into her. Her legs began shaking so much to the point they gave out on her, her body laying flat on the bed as he continued to bring them closer to their high.
“Fuck, you’re so deep,” she moaned, voice muffled by the sheets.
He grunted, the compliment filling him with even more motivation.
“You do such a good job at taking this dick, y/n.”
She whimpered her orgasm close. He could tell by how tense her body was. Her walls were impossibly tight around him, clenching down hard on his cock as if it was trying to suck him in.
“D-Daddy I'm close–”
His eyes rolled back. Hearing her sweet voice say such dirty things for him drove him crazy.
“I want you to cum all over my cock baby.”
He pressed kisses to her shoulder, sucking on the skin as his release crept up on him, balls tightening to prepare for the burst.
Her hands clawed helplessly at the sheets as he overstimulated her body.
“That’s right, let go, y/n. Let me make you feel good.”
She screamed his name as she came all around him, dragging his orgasm out of him. White-hot fire crashed over him as he stopped dead in her, shaking violently as he spilled his seed into her for the second time.
“Fuck,” she heaved, chest rising and falling heavily. He could only nod against her clammy skin, lips pressing soft kisses to her shoulder.
She reached her hands around their bodies and began rubbing his thighs, small hands trying to soothe him.
Laughing lightly, he slowly detached himself from her. His cock missed her warmth immediately as he set out to her bathroom, bare feet padding on the cold hardwood floors. He found the towel he sought and returned to her side.
She whimpered while he helped her into a sitting position. Slowly, he pressed light kisses to her face as he gently cleaned his seed off of her. It had spilled everywhere. Down her thighs, on her ass, on the sheets. Everything was sticky from their various fluids, and it made him feel good knowing he was the one that caused it.
He looked to y/n. She leaned back on her hands, eyes closed, forehead slick with sweat, lips parted as she tried to breathe. Her nipples were still peaked as he took in the sight of the love marks he had left on her skin. It made him smile.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered, pushing some of her hair that stuck to her face out of the way.
“Hm, so are you.” she hummed happily, opening her eyes to meet his.
His heart skipped a beat.
The way she looked at him was indescribable. Even back then, she had been one of the few people who were completely honest with him. She didn’t care how powerful he was. She ignored it and accepted him. He showed her the darkest parts of himself, and she still supported him with a smile. This woman, who he failed to realize his feelings for till it was too late, looked at him with nothing but love.
He pulled her into his lap, taking her lovely face into his hands.
“I can’t promise you it’ll be easy with me,” her eyes widened.
“There may be a time where I get hurt, or I sacrifice myself for my students, or I make a stupid decision.”
“You always make stupid decisions,” she chided with a snort, coaxing a smile out of him.
“But, my heart is yours, y/n. For however long we are here on this earth, I promise to love you, and only you.” the truth of his words clanged between them as his heart pounded against his chest. It was the first profession of love he ever made and meant – it terrified him. Being this vulnerable, knowing now he truly had a weakness.
She smiled, softly taking his hands in hers.
“I love you, Satoru Gojo. I will love you through the pain and blood that awaits us. I will love your stupidity. I will accept your demons, fears, and dreams all the same. I will support you. I am yours.”
His lips found her soft ones, trying to conceal the tears that fell from his eyes. Despite that, her hands found his cheeks, lovingly wiping away his tears.
He couldn’t stop the flow. He felt so much at once; relief, pain, sadness, longing, happiness, fear, love. It overwhelmed him. He had missed her for so long. The way he would push her buttons so she could spit fire at him. How he was the only one who saw her soft laugh. He missed the way she would hold his body with her small one, promising him he wasn’t a monster as her scent enveloped his senses. He chased the smell of her for years, due to it being the only thing that made him feel at ease.
He realized then.
She was home. She is his home.
One year later
“Y/nnnnnnnn~!” Utahime called out to you, arms spread wide and she ran towards your approaching figure.
You smiled softly, opening your arms to accept her embrace. The woman crashed into your arms, chest pressing hard against yours as she sobbed into your neck.
“I thought you died! To think that bastard Gojo found you before I did!” she cried and you laughed, rubbing circles into your friend's back.
“Oi! What do you mean by ‘bastard Gojo’? And get off my woman!” his tone made you chuckle.
You two haven’t changed much.
“Utahime, let y/n breathe.”
You look in the direction of the voice and saw Mei Mei.
Your heart stopped. She looked even more beautiful than she did when you were young.
Utahime begrudgingly lets go of your frame. Though she pulled her cool indifferent mask back on, you could make out her slight pout.
Mei Mei grabbed your shoulder, her red lips pulling into a wicked smile.
“Have you been well? Has this trash been treating you well?”
“Hey, I’m right here!”
“Yes, I have been well, how about you?” you smile innocently as you, Mei Mei and Utahime start walking – ignoring Satoru entirely.
The grounds of Jujutsu High were just as beautiful as you remembered. You chatted idly with your friends, sharing stories of the past ten years. Utahime couldn’t hide her tears at some parts, where Mei Mei reassuringly rubbed your shoulder. Satoru lazily trailed behind, a secret smile on his lips as he watched you smile with your friends.
As you entered the main building you sighed, memories flooding your mind of your time here.
“Time sure does fly,” you muse, spinning in a small circle to take in your surroundings.
“It does,” they all said in unison, making you chuckle.
“Do they know?” you asked no one in particular, knowing everyone knew what you were asking.
“Gojo is still hiding your existence from the higher-ups, which is why we’re confused as to why he brought you here. Is it for Itadori Yuuji?” Mei Mei asked carefully, eyeing Satoru side-long.
You nodded once. He proposed that you meet Itadori Yuuji, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki so they could learn your face and trust you in the future.
As you approached the classroom an annoyed female voice rang through the hall.
“Oi! Idiot A and B are you listening?!”
“Yes yes yes, we’re listening”
“I want a steak”
“No you idiot I said we’re eating sushi! Sushi! Listen and repeat after me. Su-shi. Tell that happy-go-lucky teacher of ours that we want sushi!”
You had to stifle your laughter as Satoru opened the doors to the classroom, arms spread wide with a nonchalant smile plastered on his face.
“No need to fear your good-looking teacher is here!”
“Huuuh?” the students said in unison, their heads cocked to the side as they stared at the teacher with dumbfounded expressions.
Mei Mei and Utahime positioned themselves outside the classroom, ensuring to keep an eye out for anyone who might come down the hall and see you.
You quietly step into the classroom, an awkward smile on your face as you softly wave to his precious students.
“Hello, I am y/n l/n. It is nice to meet you.” you bow deeply to show respect to the younger generation, but you hear Satoru’s sneaky chuckle.
“Gojo-sama is this the girlfriend you’re so obsessed with?” a cool-toned voice called out from the black-haired student.
Toji’s son, huh?
“No way, this is your girlfriend?!” the pink-haired boy called out, voice full of energy and brightness.
Sukunas vessel.
“Of course, it’s his girlfriend, look at the way he’s standing so close to her.” the young female chided, looking at you with bright sparkling eyes.
You couldn’t hide your laughter. You used your hand to cover your mouth as the sight of them reminded you so much of Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko.
“I wanted to introduce you to her, so in the future, if you have to work with her know that she can be trusted. Back in the day, her strength was second only to mine.” Satoru bragged about you shamelessly to his students, making you blush.
Yuuji blushed while looking at you whereas Megumi simply turned his gaze away. Nobara still looked at you with awe.
“Why aren’t you a sorcerer anymore?” Yuuji asked, and you smirked bringing your index finger to your lips.
“It’s a secret.” you threw the students a wink, and Megumi let out a sigh.
“You’re just as bad as him.” Megumi stuck his chin out towards Satoru, which made you smile inwardly.
It’s still strange to think Satoru raised this kid, even if it is to spite the Zen’in clan.
“Don’t be rude!” Nobara slapped his knee, causing Megumi’s eye to twitch.
“Stop fighting, you’re making me look bad.” Satoru scolded, but none of them listened.
“Huh? Who cares about that?” Megumi challenged, easily pushing Satoru’s buttons.
“Eh? What did you just say you brat?” Satoru wasted no time, locking Megumis head in his arm, aggressively messing his spiky hair up.
You stood, trying to stifle your laughter at the lively sight. Nobara cheered Satoru on while Yuuji remained shocked at his teacher's actions. You could hear Mei Mei sigh and Utahime covered her eyes in disappointment.
You didn’t know how long this would last, but it made your heart feel so full. It healed the very last wound that plagued your soul. Finally, you were whole again.
You became remade in the brightness of their light.

Interview with Evan Ross Katz (2024)
Tumblr media
Whether he’s carrying Kylie Minogue to the Hyde Park Festival stage with his pal Andrew Scott, making the Internet go collectively feral for merely running a half marathon, chasing dinosaurs (in the upcoming Jurassic World reboot), romancing Matt Bomer (in Fellow Travelers) or Simone Ashley (in Bridgerton) or Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo (in Wicked) or, with his most recent venture, launching an LGBTQ+-focused charity, it seems Jonathan Bailey is always up to something. And yet, he still makes time, from his hotel room in Thailand (where he’s shooting Jurassic World 4), to hop on a Zoom with me to catch up.
We discuss everything from chafed nipples to queer shame to who he’d like to see in the “Drink Your Milk” T-shirt to if we’ll see him on Broadway any time soon, which is to say it’s a brief but wide-ranging chat.
I haven't seen you since the Met Gala! When we last spoke, you were prepping for your first half marathon. I obviously saw the viral photos that went around of you at the finish line, but how did it go?
You know, I should have put those nipple stickers on. That's my main takeaway.
[Laughs] Did you bleed?
I did a bit, yeah. Did you? I know you've done a couple of marathons.
I did bleed, and I didn't know about the bleeding beforehand. It's not something you really hear about but it's painful and uncomfortable.
Totally! And not even just beforehand: It took ‘til 4 hours later when my best friend told me there was evidence [of the bleeding]. But anyways… it was euphoric!
At least there was no photo evidence of that element!
Exactly! So thankfully, it's done. But it's just the most amazing thing, isn't it? And the community as well. Hackney Moves is amazing and they raised loads of money. It was the Bridgerton [Season 3 release] week so I feel like you could sort of harness that.
I do have to ask you a pressing question: Days ago, it was announced that Wicked had moved up its release date and will now be released the same day as Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2. Many online were affectionately calling this Barbenheimer 2.0, which led many to try and speculate about a proper portmanteau. Jon Chu wrote on Instagram that the consensus seems to be “Glicked,” which you reposted on Instagram, signaling a cosign. But I have to ask you, Johnny: Are you not considering“Wickediator”?
I love it. Whatever Jon Chu has ever said to me, I’ve taken as gospel, so I actually hadn't explored all the other options. The one that I've now heard since then which is making me reconsider everything is “Gladicked.” [Laughs] It's quite good, isn’t it?
Yes! To me, “Glicked” feels too Wicked-skewed and then “Wickediator” is just clunky AF, so I like where you're at.
We want it to be equal footing for sure. Another thing that I love that went viral is someone going: “Oh, brilliant. A film for the ladies and a film for the ladies.” [Laughs]
I am both ladies!
Oh, yes. Me too!
Let’s talk The Shameless Fund, the charity you founded to raise money for LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations. Can you tell me about the formation of this project?
It's been a labor of love over the last three or four years. It's been quite an organic experience, mainly inspired by Fellow Travelers, hence why I started with a collaboration which references a very specific scene and a performance by Matt Bomer.
I think through Covid and Bridgerton coming out, I found that there’s a real sense in the queer community about awareness of people who came before you and other experiences. And then obviously in Fellow Travelers, which explicitly explores that, the character I played was sort of on the front all the way through a very complicated experience for gay men at that time.
He experienced real moments of blooming liberation and quite insane amounts of oppression as well, and he was always fighting. He ends up becoming an activist, essentially, and I think it was in playing that part — which was kind of spiritual for me and for everyone who's involved in it — that I was like: Right, okay. I know that I've got this idea in my head and having experienced how much love there is for things like Bridgerton and how much money there is in collaboration, I felt that there's so many things I had said “no” to because it didn't feel quite right for me but if there was a world in which I could marry all of it in a creative sort of cocktail, then why not? And to give back to the community that I so love, and also, I'm a massive beneficiary of the work that the people that came before us did, so that's where it came to fruition from.
You collaborated with our dear friend Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Loewe, on a T-shirt with a memorable quote from Fellow Travelers to promote the launch of The Shameless Fund. How did this collaboration come to be?
During the strikes during the filming of Wicked, I went on a run one day and this idea of a T-shirt came into my head in full form. Then I sat next to Jonathan [at a Studio Voltaire fundraiser], and he’s lovely and brilliant and naughty and has a foundation, so it was all kind of organic.
Then I went over to DC to present Matt Bomer with an award for the Human Rights Campaign and it was really galvanizing to experience the American fervor. It was a gala, and the energy in the room was absolutely wild and there were amazing stories on stage. I texted Jonathan and I said: “Look, I have an idea and it involves milk and a T-shirt. What do you think?” and he said: “Call me tomorrow,” and then he said yes within the same phone call. I just felt tentative because it’s the sort of thing where you ask and you don't know, but then it went from there.
I do recall first seeing a photo of you in the shirt several months ago during a night out with the Loewe team in China…
I went to the Loewe exhibition in Shanghai, which was incredible, and that night, we had quite a big night out and I wore the T-shirt because I’d been given the first prototype.
I was having a little boogie and [Anderson] uploaded it whilst I had no access to the Western World — my phone was off the whole time. So by the time I came home, you could see that people were gonna go wild for the T-shirt. Now, it's sold out and we're gonna get some more and it'll be a first step for The Shameless Fund to raise some money.
Jonathan Anderson did my and my husband's wedding looks and I had to send him that same initial text to be like: “Can one even ask this?”
That's what's so brilliant in life: People who have the ability to collaborate, and that's just what Jonathan does.
One thing that you said just now that struck me is: “Why not?” I interview a lot of people in your profession and they're not asking that question all the time. A lot of people say:
“Oh, there's lots of money I can make. I can have more money. I can have more things for myself.”
Why are you a “why not?” person rather than a “why”? Is that something that was imbued in you by your family and your upbringing or is it how you've always been?
I don't know. I just feel quite strongly emotionally. I sense injustice in certain places, and I think what comes with success — especially being a gay actor — is that you think: “Hang on a minute. Are there limitations? Are there glass ceilings?”
When you experience success that you never thought you would and you grew up thinking that you're limited because of your identity and who you are, I think about the people that have supported me and the people that were really pioneering, but also, the actual heroes who do the real work; the people who work for these nonprofits and these charities where the majority of their energy is spent trying to raise money. When Bridgerton came out, I was inundated with requests to help draw attention to [these organizations] or raise money or donate things that they could sell, so that's where the kernel of this idea came from. All my life, I’ve been thinking about how I can give back.
It's not for nothing that you call this The Shameless Fund. We grew up at a time when, and I don't know if this is the same for you, but I didn't know that gay people existed. I thought I was the only one because I didn't have access to the kind of media kids do today where you can go on Instagram and see that gay is not only acceptable; it's cool. There's this very significant paradigm shift. I feel like a lot of gay men of our generation felt this shame as young people and often spend a lot of our adult lives working to rid ourselves of it. What is it for you about this idea of shame?
I totally agree in terms of generations. I think the queer experience changes every five years. Even with some of my friends who are 10 years older than me — it's just so specific to cultural moments and representation as well, as you're saying. But I think my understanding of shame, especially having experienced Fellow Travelers, is that it permeates. It's not just a community that experiences the shame; it's the people around them. It's the parents who don't understand it and kick their kids out of their house. It's the sisters, it’s the cousins, it's the nephews, it's the children that are in broken families because of it. It's actually so toxic, that sense of self-hatred. That’s why The Shameless Fund is actually something that I hope is going to benefit everyone, even beyond the community itself.
Also, the older we get and because of the world we live in now, you can read The Velvet Rage and you can read Matthew Todd’s Straight Jacket and you can explore and have conversations with your friends that are really enlightening and you can have therapy, if you're lucky enough that you can afford to do that. As a 36-year-old now, I look back and I just go: “My God, I had such a loving family and yet I was still so isolated and so crippled.”
Shame can stop people from having a proper education and from being able to structure proper emotional relationships, like fundamental relationships with their family, which is the one place you're supposed to feel safe. It's flawed if the family is not aware of what you're going through.
How did you come up with the name?
I did have other names [in mind for The Shameless Fund], but we won't go into them. One was so aggressive! [Laughs] But “The Shameless Fund” felt punk enough and fundamental enough. To me, I think that to be without shame is to be able to be joyful and to be able to thrive and to be able to learn and have a bloody good time whilst doing all those things, so it just felt right that it should be targeting shame because then hopefully it benefits the whole community in every color on the pride flag and, in turn, will also help so many people around them.
So what can people expect next?
There's going to be some really fun things coming with The Shameless Fund and there's different ways in which it can grow, but I have people who really know what they're doing who are helping lead it. By the end of the year, we'll hopefully have worked with three different charities, starting small and helping people understand the work they're doing because that's the most important thing. If you think about Instagram, other than chatting with Evan Ross Katz [laughs], that's the platform through which you can really draw attention to things. Literally anyone in our community who's thriving at the moment — in a community that's obviously under threat going forward — knows what it's like to receive support. We know what we missed growing up.
I, too, grew up with an accepting family, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t still feel ostracized. I appreciate you recognizing that nuance, one I think many of us experience in some form but don’t always discuss.
Now, on The Shameless Fund’s website, it does say that more collaborations are coming. As you said, there’s going to be a restock of the Loewe shirts, but are there other brands in the mix?
There are other brands, and it'll be really exciting because the scope is endless, but I definitely had a couple of other ideas. After Fellow Travelers, the next thing will be a Wicked garment, so you might have to keep your eyes out for that. Maybe jumpers and sexy boots?
That’s perfect for my fantasy! So we've seen Kylie Minogue wearing the shirt — who I was lucky enough to be introduced to by you on the dance floor at the Met Gala after-party, thanks again — and we've seen Kit Connor, Scarlett Johansson and your Bridgerton co-star Luke Newton sporting it as well. I'm wondering who else is on your wishlist of celebrities that you'd like to see in the Drink Your Milk T-shirt?
Oh, God. What a question! Great shout. I would love to see Jerrod Carmichael in it right now. Very specifically Jerrod Carmichael.
I feel that.
I would also love to see Hanson in it. Their three-part harmonies are a knockout at the moment.
At the moment?
[Laughs] We were just talking about this today. I’ve literally just come away from a field where I was running towards or away from dinosaurs, and we were talking about Hanson for about four hours today and listening to their three-part harmonies.
That is not what I was expecting.
Who else? I can only think of people who are going to be wearing it over the next few weeks, which is quite exciting. Is there anyone you want to see in it?
I have quite a few people. First of all, Jamie Dornan. I would love to see him in it. Paul Mescal, for obvious reasons. And the fans are waiting for Matt Bomer!
Don’t you worry. They’ll be satiated! They’ll be quenched. And Andrew Scott had a good time at Glastonbury is what I’ll say. [Laughs]
I bet he did! Last but not least: Richard II is bringing you back to the stage. Wicked is giving us the musical theater moment we've been craving. Is there a musical theater moment that’ll be live on stage in Jonathan Bailey's future?
Potentially, actually. Maybe in 2026.
On Broadway?
I would! I had the best time recently in New York and I watched as many things as I could. I saw Stereophonic, which, to me, was like a religious experience. That, and Oh, Mary! And Cole Escola.
That is what it's about. I would come back to watch that; I was so inspired by it. Obviously, I'd love to [be on Broadway] at some point and you just have to wait and see what pops up.

Do any of the gang members find out that they have any disorders/mental illnesses/etc. once they get timewarped and if so what are their reactions? Ranging from “oh, I though that was normal” to “NUH UH!”
timewarp was founded on the gang realising they have ptsd and kieran's autism being more obvious and worse in timewarp. but in detail
kieran is autistic
sean might have adhd but he doesn't actually have hyperactivity as a symptom. plot twist he just has that erratic trauma avoiding energy. it is a lot more masking severe c-ptsd and imposter syndrome that is his behind his exaggerated happy personality. see reform school lore
arthur is one of the few diagnosed he definitely had an acquired brain injury which while a physical injury manifests with mostly neurological symptoms. sometimes he gets confused or irritated for seemingly no reason, and this has been a thing since long before timewarp. the gang move on from joking about how dumb he is he does have an intellectual disability as part of his ABI. his response was very "oh I thought that was normal" and "bah i ain't need help".
the gang have subconsciously been aware of this long before they had the medical knowledge to understand it and are all pretty used to quickly explaining things or reminding arthur of stuff he forgets. lowkey consider this canon ever notice how the gang talk to arthur sometimes not entirely condescending but explaining things on his level eg sean being the one to point out the grays will definitely recognise him and he should hide in the wagon, grimshaw almost playfully reminding a grown man to wash because he straight up forgets, gentle reminders of what they're doing through heists even beyond game mechanics a lot of heist cut scenes are super repetitive like charles very much breaking down we're blowing a hole in the bank. take the spool and connect it to the detonator. the detonator is over there. it just feels like they know arthur isn't always entirely there and are v supportive. arthur is so curious and asks so many questions and the gang just roll with it and answer most of the time it feels so kind and positive.
arthur also definitely has adhd. hyper-fixates on new interesting thing for a month and then completely forgets everything he ever learned about it
almost the entire gang acknowledge they have ptsd/c-ptsd and varying levels of trauma as a response their lives/childhoods/relationships with parents/being a VDL. acknowledging it doesn't mean they do anything to move towards recovery because they are still mostly men raised with 19th century values who hang shit on each other for flinching at loud noises or being 'is someone shooting at us' alert
lenny and isaac as the most aware begging their friends/family to take their mental health seriously and are constantly met with 'lmao no' 'that's?? normal?? what do you mean' and 'NUH'. lenny cries 'please this is re-traumatising you are actively upsetting yourselves' while the gang go 'boo grow a pair' despite experiencing varying levels of anxiety attack in response to triggers.
john will only bring up 'hey stop making wolf jokes about me it is Actually a Trigger' to stop the gang bullying him. very genuine trigger and phobia of wolves and wolf-like dogs but still doesn't take it seriously himself
bill has recognized anger management issues and is in therapy. alcoholism is a definite concern. he's also just got a lot of internalised homophobia and complex feelings about the gang and his own childhood to unpack and learn how to articulate and express his feelings in a healthier way. only one of the adult gang who is actively trying to improve his mental health through therapy go king
the d in dsm-5 stands for dutch and he is thriving in in-patient care. not even the doctors know entirely what to diagnose him because he seems to have symptoms of everything but is responding best to medications traditionally used to support bi-polar
special acknowledgement to karen who is very very depressed but is a thriving with anti-depressants because trying to get the gang to go to actual psychologists and therapy is Hell. her and sean send each zoloft memes constantly

We're Gonna Run Away and never come back
Tumblr media
John fucked up this time, he got a little too careless with his love of dolly and accidently killed george.. when at a shooting range they made to finally get outside instead of staying cooped up in that RV all day.
Dolly had told john that her and george had a conversation outside when John was asleep.. John being ever so protective.. and ever so Jealous.. Got behind George aimed the gun.. and fired..
BAM! was the only thing Paul and Ringo heard before seeing george collapse on the ground with a huge hole in his head.
the other two looked at John and Scattered, while George bled out on the ground, dolly even think he would do something like that, it even made her think "what have I created..", when John realized what he did he dropped the gun and ran into the RV grabbed somethings and left with dolly.
It only took 2 hours before George corpse was found by some hippies who were only taking a walk, when they turned the corpse over.. they saw George's face, someone murderd a beatle.. how was that even possible.. weren't they protected..
One of the hippies ran far to reach their phone and call 911.. police were on the scene immediately after hearing the news, searching the everything like the RV and other places before finding the gun just thrown.
they pick the gun up, checking for fingerprints.. and they couldn't get a clear DNA because all of them had touched the gun.. so the three remaining Beatles were put as missing and they also all had warrants for their arrest.
John was already far gone he fled with dolly and was in the woods close to a near highway, when John realized it.. he started to run even faster waving his arms around for help yelling "I NEED A RIDE, I NEED A RIDE!" dolly watched him, since no one could she her she didn't need to join him in his antic's she just stayed behind him.
A Blue car with a husband, wife and one teen stopped and let John (along with dolly) in the car after he told them where he was headed they drove off
Paul and Ringo were together.. they ran in the other directon, finding a farm with an old woman and some workers asking them if they could stay there for a while after explaining someone shot their friend in front of them.
they didn't say it was John and they didn't believe it was John, he was close to George so close to the fact that they used to talk about dolly together like some weirdo's.. but it doesn't matter anymore.
the woman let them stay with her.. if only they could sing and perform for them every night since she was a huge fan of them, which they agreed too.
This was a crazy day for them all, there were warrant posters with their pictures up on it along with officers telling the press about George's death, and death suicides from every fan.
the boys just wanted everything to blow over and they could come back into the public but they couln't not after today, their stardom was over. forever

"Shall I say hello?"
Flash fic challenge!
Jane prompted: Andrew and Renee summer camp (bonus: archery scene). This is the slightly extended version of the scene I wrote!
-------
“He’s staring again.”
Renee looks up at Artie, then follows his gaze over her shoulder. There’s a table against the wall that everyone seems content ignoring. That’s fine, Renee supposes, since its single occupant prefers to sit alone and keep watch. Andrew is looking their way, but she thinks he just sensed their eyes on him.
Artie says, “He’s always staring. It’s so weird.”
“You noticed, too?” Next to her, Charlie shudders dramatically. Artie copies her but ups the drama, wrapping his arms around himself as he shakes.
“You were staring first,” Renee reminds him casually. Finally, Artie breaks to look at her instead, a grimace seriously twisting his face.
“No, I wasn’t. I just noticed he was staring because I just looked that way.”
Renee had been inspecting her sandwich for its contents when he made his remark, so she won’t debate him on it.
“He’s a starer,” Charlie says. “Have you noticed he stares at you a lot, Renee?”
She hasn’t, not really. Andrew and her exchange looks sometimes but it’s never unsettling like the others are making it out to be. When the instructors make bad jokes, he’ll find her in the crowd to roll his eyes and it makes her laugh. She says, “Maybe he wants to make friends.”
“He’s too scary to make friends,” Charlie says.
“He doesn’t talk to anyone,” Artie says, “not even if you’re speaking directly to him.”
“He talks to me.”
They all blink at Renee.
Charlie leans into her and whispers, “What does he say?”
He tells her when her shoelaces are untied, which is very nice of him.
He’d once instructed her to tell the camp counsellors he’d rather drop dead than do the zipline. “If they ask,” he’d said, “I’m foraging in the forest.” She’d thought foraging had been a fun, but she hadn’t gotten the chance to use it; no one had asked for Andrew until roll call after the session, and by then, he’d quietly returned.
Renee finds she’s neither good or bad at archery, but his advice at the range had been particularly useful for improving her stance. The range was outside and covered in nature’s debris, but she had not heard him approach until he’d said her name.
He’d been standing next to her some paces away, his eyes wide with concern, though his expression flattened when he’d successfully caught her attention.
“Drop your shoulder,” he’d told her. She’d dropped the shoulder drawing the string. Andrew circled to her other side and said, “No, this shoulder.”
She did, and when he was satisfied with her form, he’d let her shoot. She’d been steadier, her shot more sure, and it pleased her. He’d said, “Remember that,” then walked away before she could thank him.
Renee shrugs. “Normal stuff.”
“He’s not normal,” Artie is quick to say. “Caroline said he totally followed her around camp once and—you remember? He picked a fight with Tony and broke his nose.”
Shut up rises and swirls in her throat, but she swallows it back and buries it down. She doesn’t want to be irritated with her fellow camp mates, but these kinds of talks of Andrew have been popular because he keeps to himself and doesn’t stand for bullies. Renee won’t ever say Tony deserved the beating he got, but she doubts it was unprovoked.
She clears the gossip from her mind and corrects her mood with a practiced smile. “His nose was not broken. Shall I say hello?”
“No,” Artie hisses. He lunges at her from across the table but his grip is shaky. She easily breaks free from it and climbs over the bench with her tray in hand.
Andrew notices her immediately as she strides over to where he’s sitting. He looks suspicious of her but doesn’t tell her to go away when she invites herself to sit.
“Hello, Andrew,” she says.
He glances over at the table she vacated, then slides his gaze back to openly stares at her for a long minute. “Cool hair,” Andrew says, and Renee smiles brightly at him.
“Thank you.” She tugs at the blue tips of her hair then tucks her bangs behind her ear. She should tie her hair back to get it out of her way. “I did it myself.”
“I can tell.”
Renee laughs, not at all offended by that. She draws her eyebrows together to look upset, but her smile is too wide. “Hey, it’s hard work, you know. It won’t always look nice but I’m proud of it anyway.”
Andrew grunts, which Renee takes as acknowledgment. She asks, “Have you ever dyed your hair?”
“No.”
“Would you want to?”
“You just said it’s hard work.”
“Well, sometimes it is.”
“I prefer never to do hard work.”
“You like archery.” Andrew narrows his eyes at her accusation. “That’s hard work.”
Andrew doesn’t answer that. Instead, he puts his drink down and switches his sandwich for Renee’s. She watches him for a moment, amused as he appears to ignore her and takes a bite of her original sandwich.
“What’s this?” she asks, sliding her tray forward.
She’s lifting one of the edges of the sandwich when Andrew says, “You hate onions.”
Renee can’t help the surprise that takes over her face. She smiles, wide and true and pleased to be known. She puts her dessert jello in his tray as thanks, and he shrugs one shoulder as if to say thank you and you’re welcome at the same time.

When the nominations came out at the end of January, you couldn’t believe it. You had actually been asleep, just coming home from finishing up a press tour in London for your latest film. You had been counting down the days until you could join your husband back in bed in your home in California. Miles had promised you a quiet morning in, just the two of you getting reacquainted with one another, however, he had different plans.
The Oscar buzz had been in the air for weeks, as he was awaiting to see what awards TopGun was going to be nominated for. He didn’t think that the film was going to have as successful of an award season as they had been having. Hell, he didn’t think the movie was going to be as big as it was, period. He had woken up before you, and was sitting on the back porch watching the sunset, refreshing his twitter feed every forty-five seconds, when he saw the Best Actress nomination pop up. He nearly spit his coffee halfway across the backyard as he quickly ran up to your room, and all but jumped on the bed to wake you up.
“Best fucking Actress! Baby, you got fucking nominated for best fucking actress!”
You could hardly understand him as he was shaking you awake, his voice full of excitement. It took you several moments to realize what he was talking about, and your agent called you to tell you the news that Miles had already broken.
“Best fucking Actress, Y/N. You got nominated for best fucking actress!”
You broke down in tears as Miles held you in his arms and placed kisses all over your face. You had been along for the ride this award season, feeling the honor of being nominated and winning a couple awards. Your name had been mentioned a couple times during the Oscars talk, but never did you think that you would be nominated. You were still relatively new to the movie scene, this film has been your breakout start. The world couldn’t get enough of you, calling you the next ‘Hollywood Sweetheart’.
“The Oscars,” You mumbled after you hung up with your agent, still not believing a single word that had been spoken in the last hour. You. Nominated. For an Oscar.
“The fucking Oscars,” Miles mumbled against your skin, “You did it, baby.” You blushed and turned to face your husband. You let out an excited squeal and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him to lay back down in bed next to you. He chuckled and ran his hands down your back, as you intertwined your legs together. You brought your lips up to kiss his soft ones, your hands tangling in his brown curls. Ever since he got his role in ‘The Gorge’ he had been growing his beard out, and you actually liked it. You thought that the ‘Rooster’ stache had driven you crazy, this beard was a thousand times worse.
Miles hummed against your lips as he easily moved so he was on top of you. You were in just one of his shirts, so he easily slid his hand up your bare thigh and hooked it over your hip.
“We should celebrate,” He said, placing kisses on your lips.
“How so?” You let out a moan as he nipped at your skin.
“I can think of a few ways. . . both of them require very little clothing,” His hand had barely touched your rib cage when your phone rang. You groaned and looked over to see who it was, immediately pushing your husband off of you, “Hey!”
“It’s Glen,” You said, and Miles rolled his eyes. You swiped to answer the call, “Hel-”
“BEST FUCKING ACTRESS!?”
— — —
The last two months had been a whirlwind. You had interview after interview lined up after the Oscar nominations had come out. You were in New York in the morning, and LA at night. Miles felt like he had hardly seen you at all. It even got worse when he moved to London to start shooting ‘The Gorge’ and you stayed in LA, working on a new project. He missed you like crazy, and called you any time he could.
You were up early. Earlier than you needed to be but the nerves had started early. You sat on the small balcony of the hotel, watching as the sun rose over the waves. Today was the day. The day that you had watched on TV for years, and dreamed of what you would say if you ever won. You were running through the list of people to thank in your head, but you knew that you’d probably miss someone and get a text about it later. Miles was still fast asleep in bed, his bare back on display and the sheet hiding his modesty. He had flown in two days ago, and he had hardly let you leave the bed. You bit your lip as the memories of the night prior filled your mind. The touches, the kisses, the words that were said.
Taking a deep breath, you stood up from your chair and walked back into the bedroom. Miles stirred slightly as you pulled the blankets back and climbed back in next to him. He turned on his side to face you, putting his arm around your waist and pulling you back against his warm chest.
“Sleep,” His voice was raspy, “Need it.”
“I have my sleep schedule back to normal,” You said, and placed a kiss on his bicep tattoo, “Too nervous to sleep.”
“Don’t be,” He sighed, and tried to pull you even closer to him, “You will be amazing. You’re always amazing. That’s why I married you.”
“I thought you married me because I like Kyle Schwarber.”
“That’s an added bonus,” Miles chuckled, “But I also married you because you’re beautiful, talented, smart, caring, kind, amazing, and I love you.”
You turned your head back to look at him, his brown eyes open. You could see the different strands of green that were mixed in his irises, “I love you too,” You pecked his lips for settling back in his arms for a couple more winks of sleep.
— — —
The carpet was at five, and your glam team had shown up at noon to start getting you ready. Your agent, Amanda, was right there the whole time, helping call the shots. You hardly knew a thing about makeup other than how to put on foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lip gloss. Most days you weren’t wearing makeup at all, either too tired or didn’t care enough to put it on when you were doing something like going to the grocery store. Miles was getting ready in another room, since your team was taking up most of it.
“You said you wanted something classic,” Leo, your stylist said, “Very old Hollywood, nothing too eye-catching. I feel like we’ve had a good run this award season. We are yet to make the worst dressed list, and the tiktokers agree,” You giggled and sipped your tea as another stylist was doing your hair, “So, I decided on black, and ball gown-ish. Can never go wrong with a good black dress.”
You stood up from your chair and walked to the garment rack full of black dresses. Your fingers skimmed over the various fabrics, halfway listening to Leo explain about the dress. It wasn’t until you got to the last one that you gasped and looked over at Leo, who had a knowing smirk on his face.
“Oh, I’m damn good at what I do,” Leo praised himself and grabbed the dress from the rack and held it up, “Valentino, classic ball-gown, off the shoulder, a train for days.”
“That’s the dress,” You smiled and bit back a childish giggle as you sat back in the make-up chair and let the professionals do their job.
Leo helped you into your dress and zipped the back of it. It fit just right, hugging your curves and pushing your breasts up just right. Your hair team decided to put your hair up to showcase off your neck and collarbones. Leo had given you a gorgeous diamond choker to wear, making sure not to take away too much from the top of the dress. There was a slit in the dress which would showcase the black Louboutin, which was going to match Miles’ dress shoes. You were finishing up putting in your diamond stud earrings that had been a gift from Tom Cruise on your nomination, while Miles walked in and let out a low whistle.
“Holy shit,” He said, “I thought you were perfect on our wedding day, I didn’t know it only got better.”
You blushed and looked over at him, “This is okay? It’s not like. . . bad is it?”
“No, sweetheart,” Miles walked over to you and gently lifted your chin up to look at him, “I don’t wanna be a cliche, but you take my breath away,” You playfully rolled your eyes as he laughed at his own pun, “But you are beautiful, breathtaking, there’s nothing else like you on the planet.”
“You flatter me, Mr. Teller,” You put your hand on his chest, leaning into him.
“Just doing my husbandly duties,” He smiled and kissed your lips quickly, knowing how you felt about smudged lipstick, “Now come on, we are going to be late.”
You took a deep breath and took his hand, letting him lead you out of your room. Your heartbeat was in your ears as you stood in the elevator, his hand on your hip and him standing behind you. He was humming the melody to ‘Take My Breath Away’, drawing small circles over the fabric. He knew you were nervous, it was like his sixth sense. No matter how many carpets and premieres he’s dragged you to over the years, you still felt that ball of nerves in your stomach.
The drive to the Adobe theater made you want to throw up. The second you pulled up, you could see the fans gathered around start to whisper to one another about who had arrived. You gulped and felt your hands begin to shake as cameras and phones were pointed towards your car. Miles reached over and grabbed your hand, giving it a tight squeeze.
“Is it too late to decline?” You asked, your voice shaky.
“Yes,” Miles said and you gave him a look, “I know you’re nervous,” He leaned over towards you, talking low, “but sweetheart, you got this. This is your night. I’m just the arm candy. You are the Oscar Nominated Best Actress. . . I’m just some dude who grew a mustache and did a shimmy on the beach.”
“Should win an oscar for that scene alone,” You joked and Miles cracked a smile.
“There’s my girl,” He said, bringing your hand up to his lips and kissing your diamond ring, “Now, let’s go so the whole world can see how stunning you are.”
You nodded and Miles got out of the car first, fixing his tie and jacket, waving to a couple fans who yelled his name. You closed your eyes, taking in a few slow deep breaths, as the door opened. Miles smiled at you and held his hand out for you to take. You mouthed a thanks as you carefully stepped out of the car. Much like on your wedding day, Miles was careful of the train of your dress, lifting it in his hand so it didn’t drag on the ground until you got to the red carpet. The fans standing by yelled and screamed your name, and you turned to wave at them as the two of you walked towards the entrance of the theater. The second you stepped onto the beige carpet, Miles let go of your train, but made sure to spread it out. You looked over your shoulder and smiled at him as he stuck his tongue out a bit as he spread the fabric.
“What?” He asked, looking at you as if you were the only one standing in the room.
“Nothing,” You smiled, and held your hand out for him to take. He walked up and grabbed your hand, intertwining your fingers and kissing them as you made your way towards the first stop of pictures.
Miles went first, giving his best smoldering look at each of the cameras. You couldn’t help but giggle as he moved from side to side, looking at the various cameras. The director of the carpet nodded for you to start your walk. You held your hands together, fiddling with your ring as you got to the first red X on the carpet. You took a deep breath and rolled your shoulders back, looking at the photographers yelling your name. Miles stood off to the side and watched you. You were so effortlessly beautiful and confident getting your picture taken. He swore you did not have a bad angle. He could watch you all day stand in front of a camera.
“Miles! Come get next to your wife!” One photographer yelled and he nodded, going over to stand by you. He wrapped his arm around your waist, settling his hand on your hip.
You felt more comfortable having your husband behind you, like a strong wall holding you up in the storm. You relaxed a bit more, your true smile coming out instead of the fake one you had perfected from years of standing next to Miles at premieres. When you were done having your picture taken, he guided you to the next stop on the carpet which was the various interviews. Your friend Vanessa Hudgens smiled brightly at you and waved you over while Miles went to do an interview for Entertainment Tonight.
“Darling, look at you!” Vanessa said, giving you a hug, “How do you feel about not only your husbands, but your nominations tonight?”
“Oh boy, where do I begin. . .”
As the award show dragged on, the worst your nerves seemed to get. You and Miles were sitting next to Jennifer and her husband. The rest of the TopGun cast sat behind you, Tarzan having quickly come up with a drinking game like he always does. Lewis was texting Glen updates on winners. They had won one award so far, and were by far the loudest in the room when the sound team stepped up on the stage to receive it.
When the announcer announced the next presenters, it felt like pterodactyls had just been launched in your stomach. Your hands grew sweaty as you pulled your palm away from Miles’ to wipe the sweat away. He grimaced and grabbed your hand again, holding it tightly in his. You looked at him, your eyes wide with anxiety and nerves. He smiled at you and leaned down to place a kiss on the side of your head.
“I love you,” Miles whispered, “You are spectacular, and amazing, and I can’t believe I get to sit here next to the Oscar nominated best actress.”
You looked at your husband and nodded, a smile easing on your face. You sat back in your chair and listened as the nominees were showcased. When your name and movie were presented, you could hear your friends around you stand up and start cheering. You turned red as Tarzan let out a whistle and Jay had to grab his suit coat to pull him back down in his seat.
“And the winner is. . .”
You felt like you could throw up. You closed your eyes and held Miles’ hand tightly in your own, as you heard the winner be announced. You opened your eyes and looked towards the front of the auditorium, where Michelle was sitting, a giddy smile on your face as you clapped for her. You stood up with the rest of the crowd, giving Michelle a standing ovation as she accepted her award. When you sat back down in your chair, it felt like you could breathe again.
The second you got to the afterparty, you lost sight of Lewis, Tarzan and Danny as they went off to go get drinks. Monica had found some old co-stars, and Jay was talking with his wife. You had a smile on your face as you watched your fellow castmates congratulate other actors on their awards. A glass of champagne was placed in front of you and you turned to see your husband standing next to you. He kissed your temple again, and put his arm around your waist.
“I’m sorry, baby,” He said.
“Cause I didn’t win?” You asked and he nodded, “I didn’t deserve to win. I was in a tough category against legends. It was an honor to even be talked about to be perfectly honest.” You looked up at your husband, “Just gives me something to work towards next year.”
“You amaze me,” Miles kissed your perfectly painted red lips. You hummed into the kiss and scratched your nails along the scruff on his cheeks, “Now come on! I want to dance with my Oscar Nominated Best Actress.” You giggled as he grabbed your hand and pulled you to the dance floor.

Part 1
Part 2
That night you got a call from your Aunt Helen in the middle of the night. It was something about Arlo not taking his meds that night and he was yelling at Francis outside. You got up and called one of your old friends for a ride. You had left your car in Virginia and didn't want to rent a car since you didn’t know how long you would be here. Your friend, Maggie had gotten off her closing shift at 1 am and picked you up around 1:30. It was a 2 hour drive and you insisted on paying her for the gas since it was so far and so late. She took the money but waved you off saying her house is an hour away so it wasn't a big deal. As soon as you pulled into the drive of your childhood home you could hear Arlo screaming from the porch.
Maggie stopped you before you exited the car, “ Do you want me to wait?”
“No, I'll probably be needed for a few hours.” you gave her a soft smile.
Maggie’s face was colored with concern, “ Alright then, just text me if you need a ride back.”
“ It’s really alright Maggie,” you continued, “ Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it.”
And with that you got out of the car and walked towards the porch. You stopped half way and turned to wave to maggie as she backed out. You breathed a sigh, “ Alright Arlo..”
Raylan had gone down to see Boyd. There was construction on his way there so that added an extra hour to his drive. He heard Boyd had been at his cousin’s bar more recently and ended up at Johnny's bar. As he walked up to the door he encountered patrons leaving in a slight panic. Raylan bypassed them to see an altercation between Johnny and another man. Johnny had a sawed off shotgun in hand as he sat in his wheelchair. Raylan saw the man pull first. Raylan pulled faster than both of them and shot the man. At the angle Raylan was at he hit him in the arm and within moments the man was out the door. Raylan chased after him, but the man hopped in a van. Raylan knew he would not be able to keep up and it was dark so he missed the plate. He called Art, knowing the man would still be in the office. It was around 9 when he called. The local police showed up in a few minutes, but it took the Marshall’s over 3 hours to arrive at the scene. The Marshals stayed to question the witnesses.
“So Raylan,” Brooks said as they leaned against his town car, “ I didn’t know you had a sister?”
Before Raylan could speak Tim walked from around the trunk “, I didn't know you had a hot sister.”
Raylan looked at Tim from under the brim of his hat, “ Tim, shut up.”
Rachel huffed a laugh and shook her head as Tim backed off, hands raised, with a smirk on his lips.
It was so late when everything was wrapped up that they decided to get rooms at the closest motel. It was a shithole. Raylan and Tim took one room while Art and Rachel took the other.
Raylan’s phone rang at 3:49. He groggily picked up, forgetting to check the caller ID.
“ Hello?,” he mumbled. On the other bed, Tim sat up looking at Raylan. He had been a light sleeper ever since his service.
“Raylan, I need you to get over here right now.” You whispered into the phone, someone was yelling in the background.
Raylan sat bolt upright, “ Y/n?, Where are you? What’s wrong?,” he spat out. Tim’s eyebrows furrowed at the mention of your name.
“I’m at Arlo’s,” you breathed, “ He’s off his meds and waving a gun around, I have Aunt Helen hiding in your old room and I’m in the kitchen.”
“ I’ll be there in a couple of minutes. Stay away from him.” Raylan hung up and started putting in his shoes and coat.
“ Where we going?” Tim asked, following in Raylan’s lead putting on his gear and grabbing his gun.
Raylan grabbed his keys, “ Arlo’s. My sister is there trying to get him to take his meds and he has a gun.”
They left the room and practically ran to the car. Raylan must have broken 12 laws careening down Harlan’s road to get to the house. They pulled into the drive. Jumping out of the car they could hear the yelling from inside the house. As they ran up the porch a gunshot rang out.
You were trying to talk Arlo down. He had worked himself into a rage, talking about how Francis had run away to noble's holler again. You were trying to get him back to reality when you heard a car pull up. You turned back to Arlo hoping to distract him from Raylan when he came into the house, but when you looked up you say your daddy pointing his gun at you and yelling at you like you were Francis.
“ No Daddy! I’m not Franci-” You tried to say until you heard a loud !POP! And felt a burning pain in your right arm.
The next thing you knew you were knelt down on the ground with a pretty blond man next to you. You blinked hard and your head started reeling from the pain and noises surrounding you. Tim recognized your quickened breathing and wide unfocused eyes as a panic attack. After taking a quick look at your arm he saw it was only a shallow graze and focused back on you. He said your name and rubbed the sides of your shoulders as he looked at your eyes and tried to get your attention. It took a second, but you finally made eye contact.
“ Okay good. Now I'm going to need you to breathe,” you heard yelling to your left and glanced in that direction, but Tim spoke your name again. “ Y/N. Not over there. Here. girl, breathe.” He grabbed your left hand and put it on his chest. “ Breathe with me, okay? In… out… good. In and out.” He  continued this rhythm until you looked a little more relaxed and your breath started to even out.
Tim knew that Raylan and Arlo were still at a standstill but their voices were getting louder. He didn’t want you to start panicking again so he decided the best plan was to get you out of the situation. He looked you in the eyes and said, “ Okay, we are going to walk outside to the car, is that okay?”.
He waited until you nodded then he grabbed your left hand and put his other hand on your waist, careful of your right arm. You were still facing each other and once you both stood up he pulled you to him so you could not see your dad or brother. He then walked you to the door while leaning his head towards your ear. “It’s okay, we are just going to walk to the car. Don’t mind them.”
As you reached the porch you tried to turn your head to see what was happening. Tim moved you to his side as he continued to hold your waist as he pressed you against his left side. He guided you down the drive and to the backseat of the car. He opened the door and had you scoot inside to the middle seat while he dropped into the seat you left empty and closed the door. He texted Art after pulling out his phone. From your new vantage point you could see the house, but not the people inside.
Shit.
The people inside.
“My Aunt Helen,” you gasped and turned to Tim.
“She’ll be alright,” he whispered. He was looking you over when your breath started to become uneven. At that Tim pulled your face towards his chest as he pulled you into a hug, still wary of your arm.
“ Shhhh,” he cooed, “ You put her in a room upstairs right? Raylan won’t let your father out of his sight and he definitely won’t let him hurt her.” Tim continued to hug you and run his hand over your hair and back. He didn't want you to overthink yourself into another attack and you seemed to gravitate toward physical touch. As he soothed you he could hear you begin to take more substantial breaths. After about 10 minutes while he cuddled Raylan’s sister he saw Raylan exit the house with his Aunt and a few more guns than he entered with. He looked like he was on the phone as well. Tim decided that it would probably ease your anxiety to see them, but when he looked down to tell and realized you were asleep. He decided to let you be while Raylan and Helen walked to the car. Raylan opened the backseat door and peered in with a worried expression.
“ She alright?”, Raylan asked, noticing your position on Tim and his face morphed into a scowl.
“ She will be,” Tim hummed, “ but I think she is in shock and she will probably need stitches. Arlo?”
“ I called the local police to grab him, he is currently handcuffed to the stair rail. I didn’t want him in the car with either of them,” Raylan said while looking between his sleeping sister and Aunt who wore an indignant expression on her face.
“ You can leave me here Raylan,” she huffed, “ it’s my job to take care of him.”
Ralan sighed and pinched his brow, “ Just get in the damn car.”
