#please feel free to ignore this#This is my pettiest hill to die on#I went to an event at a new hotel that just opened in my neighborhood#and they had plastic plants everywhere#and just like looking at the level of everything else in the hotel I was like hm. tacky#I told my mom this story (she knows brands) and she was like how very disappointing that brand is known for a much higher level of quality#And like this is very much a 'when in Rome' thing I don't expect fresh flowers (or any table decor lmao) at like McDonald's#but have some respect for your own price point#If you sell steak and lobster I want the steak and lobster experience not the Waffle House experience
