Wait so is this like. The manga version also? Or is this like a full metal alchemist oh shit we ran out of things to animate letâs make up our own story now???? Very confused
i have. no fucking clue to be honest but if i were to guess the manga will be similar?? bc im assuming asagiri and harukawa had the chapters done for months now, early enough to give them to the anime team to animate and 111 is just one of them
i really didnt like this episode i think the pacing was bad and rushed so im hoping theres some more info in the manga?? but also. it would suck so bad if we were now behind the fucking anime and unless we get like 3 fucking chapters next month thats whats going to happen
and with the 2 hours later thing, i dont think its an anime thing bc of how it resembles the fit fukuchi is wearing in that last doa official art, but 2 hours????? girl what on earth is going on. this arc has been so pong and exhausting and the writing has been decreasing in quality and were all tired so the idea of sth huge happening soon is just really not that exciting to me. i want to see the political repercussions and the page not another fight, at least not now
but yeah tldr i dont think this is an anime only resolution, at least not entirely. a lot of the things make sense ig (like bram regarding his body and dropping the vampires, i feel like thats the only thing that could have happened) but maybe the pacing will be better and maybe therell be some useful info
#sorry idk if any of this makes sense im really tired#im really not happy with this episode the chuuya reveal was so fucking dissapointing#and the fukuchi plot got so convoluted i cant even say if it was a good ending bc idk#i hopes fukuzawa would die and idk maybe he will?? doesnt seem like it tho#i just wish we had some fucking stakes in the story again bc there are none as of now#even with the new threat like oooh whats going to happen#there will be cliffhangers every chapter no resolution and more dropped plot points?#like for the amount of violence nobody is ever seriously hurt#bc of the yosano ex machina which i dont dislike#but god asagiri let a non antagonist die or suffer consequences im begging you#and i dont even understand what happened with one order like is fukuzawa responsible for it now#does he have the power to control everyone#and wheres yosano jfc#ask#sorry again my brain feels like scrambled eggs

Okay, you know how City Spirits are a thing?
And Superheros both Die, Un-Die, Re-Die, Dimensionally Sorta Maybe Die But Then Don't, and also never Died in the first place? And probably do at least a portion of that in Medical? While ALSO hanging out, quantumly maybe Dead, maybe alive, in their Super Cool Clubhouse?
Which is ALSO exposed to space rays, the entirety of The Magic Club, weird alien Technology, aaaaand whatever they decide to store on it??
:T
I'm just SAYING...
For as long as dwellings Of Significance have existed, there have been house spirits. They are the IDEA of the house. The SIGNIFICANCE of it. What makes it HOME. The weight of the halls that turn into Halls. And The Watchtower? Is KNOWN to enough people, to have SIGNIFICANCE.
It's a HALL where Heros Live. A Place Of Safety. It GAURDS.
It is also inanimate. Steeped heavily in every sort of energy, be it magic or science, and multidimensional fuckery imaginable. But? Not SENTIENT. Yet.
Until of course... this new fangled Anti-Ghost Shield comes out. By the new and recently no-longer on the run (from the Goverment they're at war with) Dr.'s Fenton! Why were they are war? Don't worry about it!
They Won.
:)
Unrelated! Never threaten their kids. They WILL find you. Not a threat, just informing!
:) :)
The security guy they sent to the expo was from Gotham, unfortunately. So he found the couple to be completely normal. They? Should not have sent Thomas. He was hired BECAUSE his parents were Mad Scientists in the making. Batman was steering him away from a life of crime. Thomas could judge "normal" from "deeply unhinged" if it belly danced infront of him, in the seduction dance of a thousand, deep fried, mackerel.
It's his version of face blindness. Great with technology though! And the shield worked a treat. Even promised to be both ethical AND programmable! Not harming the ghosts it pushed out unless they try to force entry AND allowing them to program in exceptions. Allowing Heros such as Deadman to freely enter!
Is it a little janky looking? Yeah. But if it works, it works. They add it to the systems and flip it on.
One small and immediate problem. There is now a small knight shaped child in the engine room. She was NOT there a second ago. She has controlo of the ENTIRE Watchtower, claims to BE the Watchtower, and knows all their names. Knows a disturbing level of information about every employee on the Tower.
Oh and apparently "No one is leaving."
No one panic! Just unplug the... she has swallowed the ghost shielding unit into a wall. Slightly panic.
Panic lite.
Luckily, no one is willing to throw the first punch at what appears to be a small child. So the JLA Dark have a chance to literally run over.
They demand to know who's bright idea it was to add... "ectoplasm"? Was THAT the energy source? Oooh. Their departments probably in trouble. Later though, the hero's are trying to negotiate with a small child. Who is apparently a ghost.
It's not SAFE, she's insisting. Everyone has to stay HERE where she can protect them. From the nebulous threat of Bad Guys. They LEAVE and come back HURT. She is UPSET and everyone is going to STAY! Forever!
Not good.
Then Thomas pipes up, like the oblivious asshole he is, that he should PROBABLY call the engines makers. They did mention something a long these lines might happen.
WHAT.
You think, Thomas? Might be a good idea, maybe? Just a bit? YES FUCKING CALL THEM!
(All right, all right! No need to YELL! *ring ring* 'Ello? Maddie? Sorry to catch you at dinner-)
So now? There is a glowing college student, who was escorted here by a WEREWOLF, who just? Tore open reality? To some green, swirling hellscape? And popped through like "sup, sorry I'm late. Was in a council meeting!" And judging by the ficking CROWN and the various quietly panicking magic users, he probably didn't mean student council, and just?
Guess he's hear to talk to their newly sentient Tower.
Question! Asks Thomas, of the fucking Ghost King because of course he does, are they Dads now? Or if they already have kids, Dads AGAIN? Do they have to come up with a baby name?
.......oh dear lord, the Ghost King looks like he has to think about it.
What are we gonna tell our SPOUSES!? "Hey honey, guess what I got at work today! A NEW CHILD. They're a space station!"

Wanted: Bonus Ending
Warnings: Fluff, fluff, more fluff! Implication of Smut, Implication of Pregnancy, Ghost can't Cook :-( (but we love him for it), Polyamorous Relationship), etc.
Original Fic
You woke up beside König and Ghost the next morning, exhausted and bruised. Ghost looked down at you, mask absent, his face lifting in a warm smile.
âMorning, Sweetie,â he said, voice gravelly from the nightâs activities. König shifted beside you, squinting as he became conscious. You smiled up at Ghost and landed a kiss on his lips, sweet and soft.
âMorning, my love.â König stretched next to you, spine popping. He groaned.
âDonât think Iâve got another one of those in me,â he jested, leaning back on his elbows, taking in your disheveled appearance. You laughed, Ghost gave a chuckle. All was well. Until you tried to rise from the bed.
âWell, Iâd better go and make some breakfasââ
âOh no, youâre staying right here,â Ghost said, getting out of bed, stretching his arm across his chest. âYou need to rest; youâre not lifting a finger.â
âI second that,â came König, rubbing the back of his neck. Heâd also abandoned his veil, having discarded it sometime after you fell asleep.
Your muscles ached, everything sore. It didnât take much for you to relent.
âAlright,â you said, rolling your eyes. âFine.â
You looked around the room. âI like the new apartment, by the way. Very roomy.â
âExactly what I said,â Ghost said, throwing on a shirt and his boxers. He amde for the hallway, calling back: âTook us long enough to find it!â
König leaned over and pressed a kiss to your cheek. âWe thought youâd like it. Itâs got enough space for the four of us.â König looked down at your stomach, his eyes crinkling in a smile. You took his hand in yours and squeezed it, hoping he could feel even a fraction of the warmth - the love - you felt now. You remained in each otherâs gaze until Simon called König from the kitchen, at which the taller rolled his eyes, playful.
âI must go; my boyfriend needs me!â
You pouted. âBut I need you!â König bit back a laugh.
âMaybe, but youâre not a walking disaster when it comes to cooking, though, are you?â
âGive me enough time; anything can happen.â
You shared a laugh before he alighted and took to the kitchen, grabbing his favourite robe on the way. He rounded the corner, and you eased yourself into the pillows. König popped his head back round the doorframe.
âOh, before I forget, if you move even a muscle, Iâll be forced to put extra bubbles in your bath.â
âOooh, is that a threat?â
König smiled, his nose crinkling. âNo, itâs a promise!â
Neither Ghost, nor König let you do any work for the rest of the week, tending to your every need and whim, ensuring that you felt every inch of their love as they snuggled with you on the sofa, watching your favourite film for the tenth time that week. And, as you belted out the opening theme song, they couldnât help the smiles that crossed their faces, your shared future flashing in their mindsâ eye, feeling all the joy it would bring.

Health and Hybrids (III)đœđ»đ
[I can't remember the original prompt posters for the life of me but here's a mashup between a cryptid!Danny, presumed-alien!Danny, dp x dc, and whatever prompt made the one body horror meat grinder fic.]
PART ONE is here PART TWO is here and this is Part Three đ Ao3 Is here for all parts
Where we last left off... Boy had a break down, stole a medical cot, took a nap. Bone Appetite. Oh yeah and maybe he made a friend. Maybe
Trigger warnings for: body horror | gore | post-dissection fic | dehumanization (probably) | my awful attempts at following DC canon. On with the show.
đđ»đœđ»đÂ
Sleeping in a puddle of your own fluids gets really gross after a while.
Danny grumbles quietly. Ew. Itâs allâŠblood and plasma and goo and ectoplasm and various other nasty body liquids he doesnât actually want to identify.
Gross. Heâs soaked the mattress some too.
And he wants food. He can feel the empty cavern where his stomach ought to be rumble with wantwantwantwant. It makes his core whineâwhen his body is too damaged to be human, sometimes it treats itself as if being human is his obsession. He wants, because having human food and water and safety will make him more human again.
âŠMaybe he can snatch another one of those NastyRibs today. Theyâve got meat. Protein.
Dannyâs tail lashes as he considers going to the cafeteria again. But what if he gets lost? And loses his cot? Itâs a nice cot. Much better than dirt and far superior to the container.
Maybe it is just smarter to go to sleep again? The more he explores, the more likely it is for someone to see him. To find him. To put him back in the container.
Danny presses closer to the cot mattress, his fluids squelching up around him. And what if the one thing finds him?! The thing he couldnât bite?? Thatâs not safe! He canât get picked up by it again! He canât fight back! What if it crushes his core??
His curtain pulls back with a sharp skkkhsk of metal rings on metal bars. Danny bares his teeth and hisses, andâ
âOh. Itâs the buzzing human again. Danny slowly lets his damaged muscles relax. It purrs in a language Danny canât hear (did he lose his tiny ear bones??) very quickly and very pleased as it chats about something. Whatever. Itâs not a threat and itâs a good distraction. Danny rolls onto his side so he can watch.
It makes a sad noise. Danny perks up. Why is it sad? Why would itâ? BAGEL! Actually it doesnât matter why the human is sad because it gives him a bagel. With cream cheese. Untoasted!!
Carbs go down sooooo smoothly. He doesnât even get any crumbs stuck between his mostly-present teeth. Itâs good. So good.
The buzzing human buzzes away, leaving Danny in a cloud of agitated air and a vague sense of concern. Concern? Did something happen?
The immature human voices come back. Danny perks up. They sound familiar, but they lack the vibrational quality of the buzzy human. It will be harder to tell what they want and where they are.
A face pokes past the curtain. Dannyâs sight is too poor. He canât recognize it. He hisses.
The buzzing child slides back in with a hvmmmmvm to put itself between Danny and the new face. Good. Bad, if the human gets hurt, but good that it doesnât want Danny to get hurt either.
The new face doesnât attack them either. It makes a long, drawn-out noise that Danny is mostly sure is a complaint or three, but the buzzing kid hops around, free and light, and zips off and zips back.
Danny peeks from under his arm.
Oooh. The new human has clean blankets. He does want those. Maybe theyâll sop up the fluids heâs sitting in. NowâŠwill they offer them? Will Danny have to fight them for it?
His tail flickers. If theyâre more like ghosts, heâll have to fight. Danny doesnât want to. Theyâre young humans. He might injure them without realizing. But he really wants those sheets. Maybe he could steal them very quicklyâŠ?
Danny doesnât have much time to wonder though because he is snatched off the mattress??
He almost bites the buzzing human before he recognizes the buzzingbuzzingbuzzing under the skin of the human holding him in its grip. Why is he being held?! Is this a threat??
Is he going back to the container??
There are more young humans here suddenly, taking his bed andâhey! Taking his cot! They pull off the mattress, drag it off somewhere, and Danny wonât bite but he will phase through the arms of the small human and leave.
So he does.
Itâs not comfortable to find another empty conference room and to hide there. But young humans are impatient.
Theyâll leave Danny alone.
âŠeventually.
For now, though heâll just hide his core under the table. Itâs scratchy carpeting and hard wood on his sensitive core and heâs cranky and tired and he misses his cot.
If that red and blue thing tries to pick him up again, heâs going to bite him.
*
The hand that wakes him up is not the blue and red human this time.
Danny thinks it is, at first, and bites it as soon as he reforms. But this human yells and drops him, so it is not! Fantastic. Danny slides through the wallâ
âAnd the human tugs him back into the conference room by his tail. Hello?! What?? Ow??????
Danny barely has time to bare his teeth before the whole world is spinning and moving fastfastfast andâ
He plops onto his cot. Or. Danny is plopped onto his cot. Heâs. On his cot?
The hell?
Itâs. Danny sniffs. Pokes the mattress. There are new sheets on it. One layer underneath feels bouncy and tense, like itâs rubberized. But itâs his cot. Undoubtedly. It still sort of smells like all his juices rotting.
The buzzing human zips into the curtain that hides Dannyâs cot. It and the new adult human start arguing. And then the adult starts buzzing.
Dannyâs back is all tense and he doesnât understand. Weird. Weird. Weird. Weeeird.
The adult goes away. Then Dannyâs left with the younger buzzing human, and three strangers.
Theyâre so blurry. At least the humans that vibrate endlessly are red. The rest are a random mystery to himâsplotches of warm reds and yellows on black, which is just dark enough to screw with his recently lacking depth perception. Fantastic.
Danny presses his face into the pillow.
His more-familiar-human buzzes off and is back in a flashâthis time with a half-dozen different fancy breads.
They smell nice.
They look nice. Probably. Danny inches closer. Thereâs some spots of red, of blue. Thereâs probably fruits in them. Sugars, carbsâif thereâs a lot of oils in them, thatâs good for fats as well. Danny really needs the extra calories at the moment.
He almost goes for them. He does. But he doesnât want to encourage that stupid picking-him-up behavior, so he leaves them be and pretends theyâre not there, in the hopes that the young humans go away before he starts showing off his teeth about it.
The red human inches closer, and makes cunning little Donât You Want It? noises. Dannyâs neither a baby nor an idiot. He keeps a narrowed, half-formed eye out.
The buzzy human buzzes closer.
Danny stretches out his claws. A little twitch of pain and they solidify nice and sharp in the yellow light.
The buzzing human wisely takes a step back. And leaves the breads on the end of the cot.
Smart.
Danny doesnât touch them until all four humans are long gone, their voices lost to the base. After that, though? Each pastry is gone in one bite.
Danny makes himself invisible, wishes for darkness, and he rests.
*
Thereâs more food on the end of his cot when Danny wakes up the next morning.
Granola bars. Dried fruits.
âŠOatmeal.
It takes forever and makes his back and tail ache like crazy, but Danny swaps his cot with one of the other little cots in this large, medical wing. His aura flares in the hopes that heâll cut out cameras, but who knows if it will actually works.
Of course, it would work on another ghost, hopefully, and warn them to Stay Away! Iâm mean! if they wandered into his territory. But otherwise, who knows? Maybe Dannyâs too sick to actually be scary.
Danny sleeps behind a new curtain that night.
He doesnât like that things that remind him of the container are chasing him.
*
The red human buzzzzes back into his old cot space the next day. When it sees that Danny is gone, it cries.
Danny carefully makes himself invisible. Just in case.
The human buzzzzzes away and doesnât come back for a moment, until it does, bringing back one of the darker human-shaped blobs. One talks, and then the other, their voices as chattery and annoying as when birds get upset with other birds.
More whining. More noise.
Danny rolls over, puts the pillow over his head, and pretends he doesnât exist.
He doesnât hear any footsteps. He doesnât see the curtain jiggle. Danny thinks he sees feet poking out from behind his curtain, just the once, but he doesnâtâ
Something touches his invisible form. Danny flinches back into visibility, andâshit. Shit. Shit. Theyâre touching him. Theyâre touching him on purpose.
He tries to go intangible. The hands slip through him, but itâs not enough; they know heâs hiding here now, and now something is going to come get him.
A hand brushes his core. Danny whines.
The hand. Stops. Pulls back. Somethingâ itâs flesh-colored and soft and is held out for Danny to investigate.
Brown-black tears plop out of Dannyâs sockets without warning.
âŠOh. Itâs a band-aid.
Itâs. Itâs so simple in its familiarity. Itâs soft. Itâs rubbery between his fingers. The little paper peel. Theâitsâ
âŠItâs probably fine. If. If theyâre bringing him a band-aid.
Everything still hurts, but the background ache is easiest to bear when he sleeps it off, hour after hour of praying his body knits itself back together. He tries not to think about the things heâs lost. The physical, tangible flesh heâs lost. The brain matter. The organs. TheâŠhopefully he hasnât lost a limb, but he has a feeling chancing a transformation to look isnât going to go well for his overall health and wellbeing.
Dannyâs core keens. He wants Frostbite. He wants Mom and Dad. He wants Jazz. He wants someone to put him into a safe bed with ice packs and to bring him soft foods and to lay beside his core and purr and he wants someone to take care of him.
He wants someone to take care of him.
Danny needs someone to take care of him so badly.
âŠDanny drops his intangibility. Some of his body becomes borderline corporeal, even. He has no idea what he looks like or how bad the damage is exactly, but he hears a muffled gasp and an acute intensification in the buzzing, sharp and high and scared.
Thatâs not a proud, smug response. Thatâs not a mean, gleeful response.
Okay.
MaybeâŠMaybe Danny is actually safe here. Maybe this wonât hurt too.
Danny doesnât remember everything, but he does end his session slathered in clear cream, wrapped in cloth bandages as well as two young humans can manage, and with a band-aid stuck against some cavernous hole in his forehead.
Heâs even awarded a blueberry muffin for his bravery.
(Good for him.)

This is a question asked before with different characters and now I'm curious on my two favourite but I have a small idea on what'd happen
What would zed do if Raze died?
Oooh...like if Makkaro killed her? Let me think...
Well I think Zed would still demand to see her for proof, to which Makkaro would most likely take him to see her remains. Even if Gienne tried to convince Zed, I don't think he'd believe her after all that happened.
Upon reaching her cell, the beacon spell would be countered and Makkaro would have a new prisoner.
Meanwhile, across the world, even across the universe, the affects of Raze's death would be felt. Nothing too flashy would happen, but the world would feel a little less...magical. Everyone would still have their magic, but there would definitely be a feel and a few environment affects. Nothing disastrous, everything would just calm down.
Also, the shield surrounding the planet to prevent intruders would be gone so who knows what could come in.
I think at that point, Gienne would stay at Makkaro's side. She would be resilient in her resolve. Calling Makkaro a child for wanting her to run away. She loves him and despite the decisions he's made, she'll keep fighting for him.
Makkaro will get frustrated with her and demand that she leaves. Gienne will leave, but she will never be too far away and she even tells Makkaro where she will be staying.
Time goes by and Zed is becoming more and more disheveled. He is constantly resisting the pull of the World Ender. All the while Makkaro is becoming more and more insane as he finally conquers the entirety of Scimitaria, but it's only a matter of time before he slips up and Mahann takes advantage...
Mirrin and Gienne are the only survivors as the flee back to Fusfeimyol. The Sultans are dead and they need to get word to Manasia for aid as Fusfeimyol is still feeling the affects of the last great conflict.
Gienne isn't too keen on going back, let alone seeing her family again, but now she has no choice. Mirrin protects her from whatever might happen and he does when the Pisces family tries to guilt trip her into coming back.
Eventually, the Council of nations agree to declare Makkaro and his vampires a worldly threat.
Back with Zed and Makkaro, Zed has found a way to escape from the castle and goes into hiding in the wastes of Scimitaria. He is starved and alone until he comes across a vampire who decides to take him as their personal blood bag in exchange for his life.
(Perhaps this vampire could be a new listener character? OOOOOH VAMPIRE ROMANCE STORYYYYYY)
Zed's life would be a harsh one, but it wouldn't be all bad. But will the stockholm syndrome get to him before Mirrin does?
Makkaro and Mahann are still at odds with Mahann trying to find new and insidious ways to undermine his master.
I'll stop here for now. Maybe I'll revisit this at a later date, but there;s definitely a fun story here!
I'll call this AU...World of a Dead God

What are some of your favourite episodes of the bill?
Oooh crikey, so many! Thank you for the question! These are in no particular order. Also apologies for the formatting, I'm on my phone trying to reply and remember which numbered episode is which and have to go check some of them to ensure they're right as I've bounced everywhere around timelines the last couple of years doing the recaps and they blurred.
* All Change, the millennium new years eve when cid became uniform for the night.
* Respect 1 and 2, the end episodes. I don't like the way some of the character storylines were wound up but those two episodes were an amazing tribute.
* The Chief Super's Party, June and Roy flirting at the bar, Brownlow deeply unimpressed by the company that Roy kept. Roy getting one over on the super without Brownlow even realising which allowed him to support Ted. Ted's drunk driving crash ending up with him sleeping on a boat overnight and solving a robbery to save his job whilst hungover.
* The Target Trilogy, June and Steve get shot at. It's thought that it's Steve being targeted but they soon realise how wrong they are. Poor Jo đ
* An Honour To Serve, Gina's last episodes. Smithy's kiss on the cheek and how much he respects her đâ€ïž "Goodnight Ma'am" (RIP Roberta â€ïž)
* Lullaby with Smithy going from reading Tim a bedtime story in a cell with absolutely no feeling in his voice through to him singing 5 little speckled frogs to try keep him calm and not worry him when they were kidnapped.
* Integrity, Nicks first episodes. The contrast of him and Smithy paired together is awesome. Especially when they unite.
* Gunrunner, Smithy and guns...
* Witness and the episodes featuring Carly in the run up. Smithy really became the paternal figure that he didn't want to initially and cared about her, Leanne and Brooke. (& laughing at Nate when he runs the wrong way after sending him to chase after her whilst he stands and has a nice little chat.)
* Righteous Kill 1 and 2, Max protecting the wife and son of a man he shot in S019.
* Brittaniamania, Mickey undercover as a football hooligan and Debbie pretending to be his girlfriend with Dave and Paul his workmates though Paul being shit at plastering almost got them caught.
* Episode 154, the aftermath of Mickeys rape. The acting is incredible.
* Tinderbox, Brownlow, Conway and Meadows in an outward bounds team building course against Manion and his cocky cheating team.
* Conviction - particularly the riot training episode where Smithy and Callum end up having a physical fight to end their frustration over what happened with Devlin. The last episode of that is a bit frustrating though as I don't think Smithy could give his guilt over that quickly to accept a promotion when it was eating him alive. It made out he and Stevie had continued a thing from Gunrunner too that they hadn't. (the promotion thing bugged me so much I made a fic about it)
* First Impressions 1 and 2, purely for WUK (or "WUS!") and nick and uniform hiding in Diane's cupboard to watch Ben on cctv.
* Blurred Around The Edges, Smithy's army friend makes an appearance and turns his world upside down. (another I did a fic about!)
* Soft Talking, Smithy delivers a baby in the middle of a street and has to try and find the mother when she disappears and get her away from the abusive boyfriend and dad.
* When the snow lay roundabout, Danny the elf knowing what Matt secretly wished, Reg being the only copper out because of the snow (he'd only gone to get a Christmas tree) Rod trying to scam uniform, a cheeky kid outing him and helping polly and Gary trim the tree and the barbershop quartet!
* PC Smith, Needing to show himself in a good light, Smithy volunteers with Nick to look after a gay couple who are receiving homophobic threats. Everyone is surprised, not least Smithy himself.
*Episode 372, Cop The Lot "Simon Cowell eat your heart out!"
* Cowboy Country, Max ends up using his mother's priest to try track a Polish criminal down
*Game Plan, Max goes undercover with the Monks family.
* Tolerance, Smithy's C019 training and interview.
* Episode 69 and 70, cop idol and Cass being taken hostage and murdered by the serial killer đ
* 117 and 118 Smithy's first 2 Sgt episodes including singing at the gay club.
* Good Cop Bad Cop , callum's first. Smithy leaps on him twice and Dan is NOT impressed when Callum acts all dodgy and tries to shut him out.
* 131 Smithy goes undercover in prison to try locate some expensive cars and Ken's son.
* 138 and 139 Smithy and Gina go out for a drink and end up in a drinking game. Smithy cheats! "You're a cab!" The next morning Gina had a little prang and all hell breaks loose.
* 162 the first live episode
* 205 206 Nicks last episodes before going into witness protection. I hate that they didn't make more of his and Sgt!smithy's past but at least they acknowledge it in this episode. It's just a shame that a lot of newer viewers would have been confused as hell at what was going on with their goodbye.
* 214 215 the start of Gina and Jonathan properly.
* Appropriate Force, Callum comes face to face with his ex and her criminal husband. Smithy has to literally pull him away from beating the husband into a pulp for attacking his wife.
* 237 Jim and June get married. For the cast dressed up, Smithy teasing Gina about settling down and shoving her forward to catch the bouquet and the beautiful Gina and Jonathan moments. Though sadly they do end up breaking up.
Killer On The Run, Ryan Jones blames Smithy for him killing his wife. (Smithy had let slip that Ryan was infatuated with a prostitute the episode before) and tries to take revenge, holding both Smithy and Pauline, Smithy's mother at gunpoint at various times
* 272 273 Gina taken hostage by Irene Radford and the story of their history and how alike they were falls out.
* 286 Dan's first appearance at the driving school with Amber and Leela. Amber's attempts to get in with the instructor once she finds out she's a lesbian is hilarious.
* 288 289 Andrea is found out and the station explodes in a fireball thanks to Colin Fairfax. Smithy and Ken's final scene is heartbreaking đ
*298 Dan transfers and puts himself in danger rescuing a woman who is treated as a slave by those she works for as well as being raped by the father. Rosa is terrified but Dan tries to help, made harder by the fact she's deaf and doesn't speak English.
* 302 303 Mickey returns with MIT colleagues and arrests Neil. It's a heartbreaking look at what the rape had done to Mickey or "Michael" as he insists he is now and then something further breaks his heart....
* 327 Gina is found having collapsed at home by Smithy and Jonathan. Gina and Jonathan have a heart to heart and she almost tells him she wants to reunite... Right as he tells her he has a girlfriend. She forces herself to let him go for good đđ
* 349 second live episode and the end of Prosser.
* 360 and 361 Dan finally discovers who it is that has been blackmailing him about his affair and a lot is revealed about his history in these 2.
* 402 403 Smithy returns to work after the Larson debarkle to find Gina graffiting his welcome back posters and his first case involving his ex cellmate
* The Fat Lady Sings, Dave is approached by an opera singer who tells him she's being stalked. He ignores her and soon regrets it. Duncan arrives and arouses suspicions when the others realise he lives in a fancy penthouse apartment and has connections in the operatic world.
* Whose Side Are You On?, Dashers arranges a football match against a group of teens and lets Viv play in goal. (Vivs only experience being netball) so he doesn't have to let Bob Cryer play.
* Square Peg Round Hole, John Boulton is stuck with a needle during an arrest and worries he might have HIV but being John he won't stay at home.
*Wannabe, A young girl makes her attraction to Rod very obvious and he uses it to get her druggy parents.
* Team Play, Jack forces Duncan to take part in a compulsory training course with him. Duncan wants to skip it and work a sexual assault case with Liz. Poor Tom keeps being chucked off the case everyrime Duncan can slip out or take calls before he's dragged back in again to unwillingly participate in the exercise đ
Badlands, the episode with Daves assault and those leading up to it (and after) with Boultons obsession with the Lovers and trying to nail Mick. The one where George loses it and goes for John when he goads him is perfect. Just a shame it leads the the Dave, Jenny, George, Polly mess.
* Trial Run, Rod calls in sick to Moonlight as a bodyguard. He thinks he's getting a female model but ends up with his hands full with two rich kids, one of which is a little shit.
* 427 Dan at the go kart center
* 481 It's Smithy's birthday, but noone will leave him alone.
* In The Know, Leon finds himself under suspicion when he's spotted being roughed up by a target of CID
* That's Love For You & Rescue Me, Leon struggles with a case where the parents of a baby he has bonded with are suspected of abusing her.
* The Truth Will Out, Smithy asks callum to apologise to a bloke who is accusing him of pushing him. He helps out unofficially when a young kid goes missing and panics when he thinks Smithy had gotten stuck during an underwater rescue. Their final scene is amazing.
* Hide and Seek, Leon finds a little girl hiding in a fireplace and they bond a she looks after her whilst they try to find her mother. They have tea parties and pretend to be invisible and all sorts â€ïž and then Tilly breaks his heart when she says "I thought you were my friend." he later risks his job doing something naughty that is seen by Rachel...
* Solace and The Calling. Dominic is incredible in these episodes, it's a real masterclass of how he can show every bit of what Leon is feeling with the slightest change of expression.
* Tombstone, Callum tries to deal with the death of his estranged father and the knowledge that he was a rapist.
Twanky, Sun Hill put on a panto and catch a criminal attempting to off an officer during it, hopefully without the audience realising.
Sorry, went a little overboard there! Interested to hear about yours (and everyone else's!), Anon!? Could have gone on all night naming eps.

What do you think wouldâve happened to Kai if he never got captured by the mfg, sent to the armory, and sent to a prison world after escaping hell in season 8? As if his story was just left off at the karaoke scene
Side note: I always found it so interesting that the first time he has no agenda or threats and can do whatever he wants, he just goes to a small town karaoke bar and pretty much just keeps to himself (and Yelp) until Stefan shows up lol
no this is what i'm saying, anon, everyone acts like he's this evil genius mad man (and like he is but he's also relatively harmless when you don't get on his nerves) that needs to be stopped at all cost and 9/10 times he's just minding his own business bopping around. post-merge he literally spends a handful of days just dealing with his new weird emotions, writing a letter to jo, finding a place to live, and shopping đ oooh so scary, he bought new jeans! look out - now he's eating fries at the grill!
so i think if the mfg left him alone and didnt kidnap him he would have probably just taken some time to mess around and day drink, and then after the novelty of being out of hell wore off he'd start deciding what he wants to do next. if we don't change anything from s6, then he's got no living family, the coven is gone, and he's basically on his own. he has to start over. there's some fun in that, he can do anything he wants and now he's immortal and stronger and faster and he's got these cool fangs - but also i imagine it would be really lonely. sure, he's used to being alone, but i think the part of him that wants connection would start to be hard to ignore after a little while.
i desperately wanted him to get to be a coven leader so i like the idea of him collecting witches, i would accept him going off and coming back with like 2-3 new people and being like "loooook guys i built a coven!! picked this guy up doing tricks in vegas, this girl here was kicked out of the house so obviously we brought her home with us, and this one was actually killing people but don't worry we spoke about it and agreed murder is only allowed in certain situations-,"
s8 kai is still fixated on bonnie, so i'd assume he would either start texting/calling her or risk it and go to town to see (bug) her. maybe he wants her to join the coven, maybe he went to her first and she said no because they can't be a coven of two so he went and recruited more to be like "oookay bonster now it's a coven of 5 what do you say??"
i would hope that something could come of their relationship and even if it's not expressly romantic they could get to a point where he would help her with the hellfire arc. i mentioned in another post that if they had two witches, someone could handle the hellfire in the armory while someone else held katherine in place inside the tunnel with a spell.
i would write it so that bonnie is afraid to leave him with the boys, and he has to assure her he's strong enough to handle them and it would be this tense moment of goodbye:
"go-"
"i don't want to leave you!"
"bon come on i'll be fine, just go we don't have time for this. worry about me later tho it's kind of cute-,"
"okay okay, shut up, i'm going-"
(alternatively i would accept "hey ... be safe" "i will" and then the boys picking on him lmao)
and then instead of passing out she'd race back down the tunnels to check on him. she would get there and see the boys first and have a moment of thinking they turned on him so she thinks kai was sucked into the fire and he gets to watch her freak out about him being gone for good and then he could pop out and be like "don't worry bb not even hellfire could keep me from you đ" and she'd yell at him for letting her think he was hurt but then they'd hug and he'd be like "...worth it" lmao
i just !! want my boy to be happy. we get such a brief window of time where he's himself, with magic, free. so he could honestly do literally anything other than get trapped in a third freaking prison world and end up having a relationship with a vampire teenager and i would enjoy the hell out of it đ

Talk Shop Tuesday! How do you decide how much IRL is in your sroeiea? For example when Rose goes to NYC in the 80s and sees the twin towers, she has a reaction, but there is no Covid or Trump in the Hazelverse.
Thank you!
Thank you! Presuming that funky word in there is meant to say "stories"?
Talk Shop Tuesday
Oooh, that's a tough one, since the vast majority of my stories don't take place in the current present. For the most part, I tend to stick to the timeline established by the canon media, which means that most of my fics are at least a few years "behind schedule"
My X-Men fics take place between the 1960s-1980s
Vivienne's story takes place in the 1890s
My DC fics take place around 2021
Heartstrings takes place in 2013
Taking Flight takes place in the early 2000s
WWFA? takes place in 2014
Nom De Guerre (my other 6 Underground fic) takes place around 2019
Even when my fics do take place in the present (or near-present), I don't have a strict rule for what events I include and which I don't. I suppose I kind of fall into a similar vein as when I decide what's canon and what I'm changing when I write fanfic: if it's something that has a reason to be changed directly, I'll change it, otherwise I'll generally leave it be.
For example: Catch and Release takes place in 2024, but there's no mention of a COVID pandemic having taken place. Half the population Blipped during the prime years of COVID, plus the MCU has a fair bit more technological advancement than the real world, so even if COVID did still exist, transmission would be limited enough to not cause a worldwide event.
However, Heart in Your Hands also takes place in 2024, and I would say that the COVID pandemic absolutely did happen there. For one thing, there's not anything to really prevent that from happening; and for another, I think it can fit into the story in an interesting way. Coney Island is completely empty for the first time Jimmy's ever seen it, it's even more isolating than it was before... all over the world, people are being quarantined in their haunted houses and forced to interact with ghosts they weren't entirely sure really existed before... the Spenglers have just moved onto the Dirt Farm at the tail end of the quarantine period and things aren't quite normal yet... it works for the story, even if it's not overtly mention in the movies or HIYH.
Plus, I feel like there's a bit of a distinction in how the movies were made. Both the new MCU movies and the new Ghostbusters movies were made in a post-COVID world, but I think there's a difference in approach to their atmosphere. The MCU tends to focus on its superhero threats and uses the Blip almost as a stand-in for the COVID pandemic - there's symbolism there, how the world was suddenly changed and people had to adapt to a new way of living, but COVID itself doesn't exist in that world. And while there's no mention of COVID in the new Ghostbusters movies either, there's almost a feel that it still took place: again, not in any overt way, but there's just something about the atmosphere and the way people behave that tells me COVID still happened.
I feel like I'm not articulating this well, and I really didn't mean to focus solely on the COVID pandemic, that's just the main recent event that could go either way on whether or not I include it in my story - especially since most movies choose not to mention it, even if they were made in a post-pandemic world. The long story short is: unless there's a reason for it to deviate from the real-world timeline, it generally follows the real-world timeline. Otherwise you just have to balance a whole lot of Butterfly Effect stuff, and things just get way more complicated.

Oooh ok headcannons/questions/ideas?
- Millie knows more about mechanics and engines than John. Millie is the one that is asking all the questions/buys the car for the family/the kids when they are teens/adults. John is standing back with big âmy wife is amazingâ eyes and glaring at anyone who is rude to her. Also Millie teaches her kids about maintenance. (Maybe with Kenny teaches them to make a car?) idk but Engineer!Millie is amazing.
- Millie already has her âbehave!â mom glare down
- Uncle Ham once told the Brady kids that his facial scar was from being bit by a shark or something similar. The Brady kids believe it for a long time? (Maybe would work better with Uncle Curt saying it about Uncle Dickie?)
- Doctors and hospitals are an ordeal for Millie for the rest of her life. Especially when it comes to pregnancy. They have to shop around for a doctor that will respect Millieâs boundaries and to have her support people with her (1940s societal rules and have John nearby/with her for labour wouldnât exactly mix) Maybe home births? Even so it is John that takes the kids to most of not all of their doctors appointments.
- I donât know how long John remained in the army after the war, but if he stayed into the 1950s I could definitely see Millie struggling with the conflicting roles of former service member and officers wife, especially with the 1950âs cookie cutter housewife stereotype.
- at some time post war, someone tries to tell a salacious version on Millieâs story, based on like stereotypes and shit. Some threats are made (I donât think Millie would know?)(having a war hero/lawyer with many connections on your side is kinda great when you need it)(bombers are scary when they want to be) It doesnât get made and pretty much anyone who wants to tell a story/book/media on the bloody hundredth knows to tell the truth if they want cooperation. Or something like this? Thoughts on the 50+ years difference between the end of the war and the book coming out, whether women serving would have changed the perception on women in society and media, and the fact that the 100th will protect each other from anything, including the media
- I havenât got around to reading Crosby book yet but I feel like Cros would have feelings about Mâlle Zig Zigs Crew being POWs and their condition back home? He thought he was going to be on Bradyâs crew for the entire war, seeing what happened had to have messed him up at bit. Especially with Solly being the navigator? Knowing that if a few things had changed you would have been there with them? I saw that ask about Mâlle Zig Zigs crew with the cold and PTSD and early January and just a weird outside looking in moment. Idk
- would Millie have been held up as an example for any women replacements? Like would Maggie and Winks or maybe an officer have talked about her? Especially if there was a female flight engineer, would Millie have been an example or a hero or something to them?
- if there is any kinda outside looking in moment on the 100th who were at Stalag Luft III especially when talking about PTSD and stuff, I think it would take a while for them (especially Bradyâs crew) to not automatically put themselves between Solly & Millie and people. Especially if there is a loud noise or something, all of a sudden they are behind like 5 people.
- are Hambone and Millie the youngest of the group at the Stalag? The thought of them having a quiet kid/chaos gremlin kind of sibling relationship is very funny to me!
- Millie in my head either dies within a year or two of John in the 90âs or lives long enough (into her 90âs) that when they figure out they are going to base MOTA on the 100th (2012/2013 ish) the production team is told that she is still alive and manage to get her on video somehow before she dies. But when I thought of that, the thought of her living a decade plus without John is too sad so. Someone makes a documentary or video tapes her for a book about the womanâs cabin at Thorpe Abbotts. ? Either way there are tapes of her talking about her experience. đ€·ââïžđ€·ââïž
Anyway this is a lot Iâll leave it there! đ„°đ„°
Hello, Nonnie! Thank you for the ask!
And apologies to my followers for clogging up your dashes a little bit with this, as lengthy as it is, but I won't do it often, and I didn't particularly want to do a lot of copy-pasting to divide it up.
(And, no, that's not a criticism of anyone sending me long asks. I love long asks!)
Everything else is beneath the cut.
On Millie knowing more about cars than John:
Yes, Engineer!Millie in her element is awesome, and it is already canon, though the work isnât posted yet, that Millie is the one fixing the cars post-war, and I should add a reference, given your brilliant idea, that sheâs the one buying them, too.
I would imagine that John knows a reasonable amount about cars just from the culture of the day for men, but even if Iâm right, thatâs still different than growing up on a farm like Millie and Kenny and being responsible for keeping machinery running.
On Millie having her mom face down pat:
Corralling grown boys (cough, cough, the other enlisted on her crews, if they donât outrank her) is not the same thing as managing your own children, but I can definitely see how she would have developed her hands-on-hip behave/disappointed mom face at Thorpe Abbotts, especially with the local children running around too.
On Hambone telling the Brady kids whacky stories about how he got his scar:
Spinning yarns for kids definitely sounds like something Hambone would do, so definitely canon stamped. The man gives off gremlin vibes, and weâve seen a bit of it already in Sunward Iâve Climbed.
After reading https://theveteransmuseum.org/howard-hamilton/ and https://theveteransmuseum.org/part-2-of-howard-hamilton-story/, Iâve already been thinking about a friendship between Gerry Hamilton and Millie, so this would definitely add a fun addition to any post-war story where the Hamiltons star.
On Millie's struggles with hospitals and doctors:
Definitely canon, though I havenât gotten to it yet and am not sure yet how it will all play out. (I remember I had another ask/section of an ask along these lines, but I canât find it right now in my archive.)
A big shame that there were not more female doctors thenâŠ
But yeah, John would be largely the one taking them to their doctorsâ appointments, which might raise a few eyebrows, I donât know yet. And Maggie might be a real support to Millie here, but I still have a lot of post-war details left to hash out.
On Millie and John post-war:
So Brady does not remain in the military long after the war. Heâs out by at least 1948 from what I know, largely from https://www.voicesoflaurel.com/post/john-brady-from-wwii-hero-to-laurel-city-council, and probably earlier.
And yes, I could see some tension there. Thankfully, Brady is good about always backing her up and not expecting her to shape herself into someone she is most definitely not.
On "a salacious version of Millie's story" and other issues:
While the drama, angst, hurt/comfort, and good helping of Laywer!Rosie would be delicious, one immediate question I have would be whether the female officers of the 100th lost over Germany (or even Switzerland, maybe) or female officers from other Bomb Groups, for that matter, would be more at risk for such attacks than the enlisted women. Iâm really not sure.
(And while thinking about this question, I learned that conditions in the internment camps in Switzerland, where Lilian and Florence the two surviving officers of the 100thâs original complement of women were imprisoned, wasnât exactly great, and some were awful. https://prologue.blogs.archives.gov/2021/11/10/world-war-ii-internees-and-pows-in-switzerland/).
And since newspapers and journalists can be just absolutely awful sometimes, this could definitely happen. I believe @precious-little-scoundrel is having something similar happen to her genius POC engineer OFC (although Iâve gotten a bit lost in the sea of the brilliant asks she gets). Her Integrated MOTA AU is darker and much more graphic than mind, but if you can handle such topics, you might want to check her series, Those Who Can, out.
My other issue would be, except if they are constructing the story out of whole cloth, no one really has details to write a salacious story on. For several decades, the only people to whom Millie tells the full or almost full story of what happened to her in Germany are Brady, first, and Maggie, later.
I donât think I would ever write a story like this, because Iâm more interested in the internal and more personal struggles of Millie and John post-war, struggling with PTSD and that multi-faceted can of worms, but if this were to happen, thereâs no direct line of connection between Brady and Rosie, so I could see Crosby hearing from Brady about what was happening and then subsequently giving Rosie a call and being like âare you seeing this ***?â and putting him and Brady in contact.
I think the gap between the end of the war and when books started coming out gave the writers time to process what happened to them and find some semblance of peace before they started having to talk about it to a wider audience. No getting a camera shoved in your face in the relatively immediate aftermath as could happened today in some cases.
And yeah, feminist movements in those intervening decades and the natural opening of military positions to women, which could potentially happen faster in the Integrated AU, definitely would have changed the perspective on women in WW2, which in the intermediate aftermath could always be tried to be spun as an anomaly because ⊠the entire free world was at risk and you have to pull out all the stops to keep the Nazis from running roughshod over ⊠everywhere.
On Crosby and his thoughts about M'lle Zig Zig's loss:
This is Crosbyâs reaction to hearing that Mâlle Zig Zig has gone down.
The weatherman breaks the code. âEganâs gone. Your old crew is gone. The whole group is gone. The only one who came back was that new crew in the 418th. They call him Rosie.â I drop the phone. I canât believe it. Brady, Ham, Davy and Hoerr, all gone. Cruikshank gone. Old southern-boy Murph, gone. All my friends. Every crew who went through training with me in the States is gone. I tell Blake and the crew. They say nothing. They just look at each other. âOkay,â says Old Beady Eyes. âR&R is over. Letâs go home.â
He was definitely impacted by the loss of almost the entirety of the original 100th and of all his friends, as shown in this quote.
If you want to read more about Crosby, his book, and the effect the war (including the loss of his friends) had on him, may I recommend @thatsrightice's blog? She's got a lot of great MOTA posts, including the following which your questions made me think about especially:
https://www.tumblr.com/thatsrightice/742523502387658752/harry-crosby-put-a-lot-of-time-and-care-into-his?source=share
https://www.tumblr.com/thatsrightice/743481573136056320/theres-a-little-paragraph-in-a-wing-and-a-prayer
https://www.tumblr.com/thatsrightice/751909141652602880/hi-have-these-pages-from-harry-crosbys-memoir-a?source=share
On Millie as an example for the later female members of the 100th:
Maybe. Maggie or Winks talking about her would be more likely than an officer, since all the officers who really knew her are all dead or POWs.
On the flip side, I could see the ground crew judging other female flight engineers by Millie a bit. They liked her a lot and not just because of Kenny or because of her easy willingness to spend most of her spare time helping out down at the hardstands.
On the 100th looking out for Solly/Millie after the war:
Habits, especially ones that have potentially life/death or other extremely serious implications, are hard to break, and PTSD would especially complicate things there. I could definitely see this happening.
And maybe you would see this playing out in less overt/drastic ways: e.g., if theyâre walking as a group on some occasion, then Millie and Solly would end up in the middle.
On Hambone and Millie:
As far as I know currently, yes, Hambone and Millie are the youngest, although I havenât found birth month/years for everyone yet. In the main storyline, the only one I know of so far who could be potentially younger than them is McKay, but he was in a different compound at Stalag Luft III. Jefferson, once the Red Tails arrive, is the next closest in age for certain, but he was born in November 1921, which makes him a little over a year older than Millie. Itâs possible that Dennis might be closer in age, but Iâm not certain Iâve found the right John C. Dennis.
Iâm not sure whether that dynamic would quite work in the camp, because of how traumatized she is, but after the war, especially with your idea about Hambone telling the Brady kids whacky stories about his scar, I could see it.
On Millie's death and MOTA Production:
So Millie dies in the spring of 2000; she outlives John but not by much. I couldnât bare the thought of either one long outliving the other. After everything they went through together and a marriage of like 54.5 years, itâs not that they would literally give up after the other one died, but itâs that much harder to fight tooth and nail without your person there.
However, two of her and Johnâs three children are still alive when the production team is kicking into gear, AND Maggie is still alive, so they can get first and second hand knowledge that way.
Also, there are audio recordings of Millie telling her story (i.e., the italicized portions of Sunward I've Climbed). I don't know whether she would want to go on camera, though. And we will see some other ways that her experiences are recorded in âA Hometown Hero: Millie Brady.â

Hello, I was wondering if you could write a isekai AU? MC gets trapped inside the game "something's wrong with sunny day Jack" and tries to make a deal with Jack to help them get back home.
Oooh, that's an intriguing idea for an AU. One day, the average player of Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack suddenly wakes up in the role of the main character.
Isekai Types
Isekai is an interesting genre, with all sorts of variations. Most isekai have something kill off the protagonist in their previous world. Truck-kun is a meme in this genre for a reason after all. If the player died in our world and woke up in the role of the MC, their attempts to get back would probably be doomed from the start.
Then there's the isekai where the person was summoned. Typically that's to be the hero/savior/saint who saves the world. If our MC was summoned, then it would most likely be Jack who summoned them. In this scenario, he would probably be aware of the 4th wall to some degree. If he was aware that he was in a game and that the MC in the game is just the avatar of the real person he's in love with, well... that's certainly reason enough to break the wall between them don't you think? If they don't want to stay in his world, well, then he'll just have to go back with them, now won't he?
If Jack wasn't the reason they were brought there, then that might make it tricky for him to help them get back. Though he could promise to try in order to team up with them and earn his sunshine's trust, since trying doesn't mean succeeding.
Of course that's going with the world as a game. If the world of SWWSDJ was an alternate universe, then if MC comes from our world, then either they're dropped in without a support system or they're replacing the original MC. Plenty of isekai have a person wake up in another person's body when they died or awakened to their past life's memories. Heck, a lot of the isekai revolve around someone suddenly waking up in the role of a character in a dating sim, including erotic ones like SWWSDJ.
Of course if they're reborn as a person in that world, things can get pretty crazy depending on when it happens. Does MC suddenly become aware of their past as a baby? In childhood? While dating Ian? After he cheated? Before the demo begins? After it ends? Endless possibilities~
It could even get pretty dark potentially. What if the player suddenly appeared during the course of the game or after the demo? If Jack is unaware that it's a game, he surely would notice something has drastically changed about his sunshine. Would he still love the person attached to him if they were an entirely different soul, or would he want his real sunshine back? Would he love whoever he's attached to? Would he see this new MC as a threat who took away his sunshine? So many dark questions...
Okay, now that I've gone over a lot of broad strokes of different ways to tackle this sort of isekai AU, let's narrow on focus to the type of isekai setting that I prefer personally for this scenario.
From Player to MC
First of all, the MC is a person who played the game. If they just heard about it from a friend, that would make things a little less spicy, in more ways than one.
Of course how the player would react to suddenly finding themselves in the world of the game would vary wildly depending on the MC. Would they be happy to know they're going to be in that situation? Would they be scared? Since they have some idea of how Jack works, they would have a lot more control over him considering they would know that he can't do anything without their consent and that he needs them to want him there.
If the MC is someone who wants to be with Jack romantically, this would be advantageous for them. All they have to do is just, well, let him love them and keep an eye on his yandere impulses. If they would rather be with Ian, Shaun, Nick, or someone else entirely... then there might be a pretty big problem.
I imagine if the MC found themselves in the SWWSDJ world before they get the tape, they could just skip buying and playing the tape if they don't want to deal with Jack's yandere and manipulative tendencies. Sure, I theorized that the other love interests are yandere too, and Jack's rules makes him the least dangerous one of the bunch ironically, but we don't actually know that for sure. It's possible for the MC to just skip the whole yandere song and dance if they just never play the tape.
Of course... that's assuming that the world they found themselves in really was just like the game they played. The demo changed from the first iteration to the second after all. Who's to say that some things couldn't be different than they were expecting?
Personally, I'd throw in a few twists for fun that the MC wouldn't be expecting despite their knowledge of the game. Plus there's the simple fact that a visual novel's telling of a world and events would have a much more narrow perspective than actually living in it.
Really, it would be the most interesting to have the MC isekai to just before they find the tape. That way they have a dilemma on their hands - do they let Jack remain trapped in a place where he described as hell? A place where he always feels cold and can never sleep? Or do they invite him into their lives, potentially into their head and heart to be their best friend forever despite the risks? It's a juicy bit of drama they would have to consider.
Naturally, there's the question in the MC's mind if the world is actually real. Are they inside a game that's somehow evolved to become a separate reality? Did the game predict the events of another world that they would wake up inside of? Did this world get created for the MC to live out a fantasy? Is this just a dream? Will they be restricted by the events of the story, or do any of the events of the game still matter that much now?
Then of course there's the logistics. The role of Y/N in the game is intentionally vague to be a blank slate. MC had an ex boyfriend named Ian who keeps calling them, they're exploited at their job selling yogurt where customers sometimes ask them on dates, and they have a friend from college named Shaun who is crushing on them. Name, age, gender, appearance, family, background, etc... all these details are intentionally unspoken to better insert whatever entity we like into the role of the MC. What family and relations they wind up having might be something they could never have expected and have no clue how to deal with...
Alice the SWWSDJ Fan
I'd say now is a good point to narrow the focus further to my personal MC, Alice, and the way I would write her going through such a scenario.
I mean, I could write one where I, the player and writer of Alice suddenly find myself in her body living her life. There's plenty of isekai where writers wake up as their characters after all.
Or I could totally go off the rails, go full overpowered isekai protagonist mode, and play with the idea of me literally becoming my overpowered online avatar. I'm sure Jack would be pretty surprised that the person who freed him from the tape is a talking cat with wings that can transform into a giant ass dragon, don't you think? Sounds like a pretty wacky AU.
Still, I'd rather stick with my OTP. Plus it's interesting to consider Alice with meta knowledge. How would she have interacted with the game and the fandom while being just another person who played the demo? How would she feel about the characters, story, and Jack's apparent powers when they're all fiction to her? Would she be a fan or just casually play it one day and wind up being reborn into it? Would her family be part of the game world or the real world? What would her family relations look like in the other world?
Really, it's surreal to think about Alice as having played the game or me waking up living her life when I really go into the nitty gritty details like this.
If Alice's family was in the "real" world, she would miss them terribly and want to go back to them. If they only existed in the game world and her "real" family weren't as nice... would she have reason to leave?
Because Alice wouldn't have grown up with Ian, her opinion about and relationship with him would be different. It'd be the same with Shaun since they wouldn't have bonded and become friends during college. She might have opinions about all the characters, but no emotional connection beyond potentially appreciating them as fictional characters.
I think Alice would enjoy the SWWDJ game, and maybe browse the fandom online, but she would be too skittish to interact openly in the fandom, at least not without using an alternate online persona. She might even have her own self-insert that she draws and doesn't share with anyone because it's too personal. Alice is a pretty private person after all, and her sexual urges are no one else's business but her own.
Still, I can see Alice posting art that she drew of the characters on her socials. She might not have the guts to share her self-insert self-indulgence publicly, even in a fandom that fully embraces and encourage this warmly, but getting some likes for her art online makes her smile.
The life Alice would've lived without Ian as her childhood friend would have been different. It'd be sad if she never had a friend she got close to like she did with him. At the same time, it means that she was never in a relationship that turned toxic...
Her opinion of Ian would be different, obviously, since Alice knows him from the demo as a fictional character. He's the ex-boyfriend who, according to some of the fandom, cheated on MC, so a good chunk of the fandom dunks on him for it. He also gets plenty of cheesecake and is shown to be soft, apologetic, and needy. Being a sympathetic person in general, I can imagine Alice would feel kind of bad for him, but nowhere near as much as she does in canon. It would be more of a casual sense of wondering why someone who acts so soft spoken and nice would be a cheater... if that's really what happened to break Ian and MC up. It'd make her curious to see what actually happened and how his route is going to go in the full release.
Also seeing Ian's sex scene would've startled her. She never expected someone so soft and apologetic to get so rough in bed. It's not really her thing, but it's sweet and sad that MC and him had such a trusting and close bond, only for him to cheat...
Shaun would appeal to Alice with his fun personality. The guy is nice, friendly, sweet, funny, playful, charming, and Moonpie is an adorable bonus. He likes gothic stuff and horror like her, so she's curious about his route in the full game. The teasers about his lore are really cute, funny, and/or embarrassingly steamy. Plus it's really cute that he purrs.
If Alice could pick just one of the love interests to meet and befriend IRL, it would be Shaun. He's the most approachable, not a cheater, and doesn't have a potentially murderous and manipulative side lying in wait... as far as we know anyway.
Really, Alice wouldn't mind befriending any of the love interests in the game. She's just understandably wary of interacting with a real life yandere, regardless of whether or not that focus would be on her. Yanderes are better for fictional self-indulgence after all.
Nick would be another appealing character for Alice. While in real life being flirted with at her job would be a huge red flag and make her uncomfortable, this is a game. She can detach herself from how she would actually feel if a questionable fictional scenario happened to her in real life and focus on the fact that he's a cute, shy guy flirting with the MC. He also has a bit of a wild side according to his profile. Someone with the night job as a dom is something that's a bit out there for her, since she's pretty vanilla, but his puppies are cute. She'd be curious to see how these contradicting facets of his character come into play.
Then of course there's the star of the show, Sunny Day Jack. Jack is the biggest guilty pleasure for Alice. His gentle praise and affirmations just really resonate with her. It's hard for her not to give into the temptation to replay the demo just to hear him speak so sweetly to "her." Hearing him moaning during the sex scenes flusters her, but she can't help but think that it would be kind of nice to have someone who showed her so much gentle love and care...
At the same time though, Alice would be well aware that Jack is dangerous. He's the titular yandere in this yandere eroge after all. So much promotional art shows him covered in blood, looking scary, and threatening to kill anyone who takes away his sunshine.
Yanderes, as a whole, aren't something Alice would want to interact with for real. Even in fiction it's something she's leery about. The idea of being stalked and treated as an object of obsession is terrifying and best left in the realm of horror as an antagonist to defeat or escape. She likes playing different horror games for fun, including ones where you have a scary character in it who stalks and is obsessed with the player, but a yandere erotic game is very different experience than mainstream horror games. She's familiar with the classic trope of the yandere and doesn't want to play a game with non-con elements.
Still, after seeing it on her feed so often, and hearing that there are no non-con elements in the game, Alice gave it a shot... and it immediately became her guilty pleasure. While she would never want to encounter a killer yandere in real life, a part of her would wish that she could be loved so sweetly like that for real... just without the potential murder and manipulative aspects. Also apparently Jack can read the MC's mind? Holy crap she does not want someone in her head like that.
While Alice likes all the characters, Jack is the one she has something of a crush on, but that's normal, right? Husbandos, waifus, and spousos are harmless fantasies for people who don't have a significant other in their lives. Everyone has experienced a fictional crush or two.
After all... it's not like anyone would ever want Alice romantically or sexually in real life, according to her... so what's the harm in indulging in a fantasy that'll never happen?
Alice in Wonderland
Then suddenly, bam, one day Alice wakes up in a strange bed in a totally different apartment. It's strangely a little familiar, but it'll take a while for her to notice that, as she's too busy freaking out about suddenly being someplace that isn't her home. Fortunately, no one is there to witness her freak out.
It's an apartment for two. Strangely enough, the apartment she woke up in has a lot of things that suit her taste. It's as if whoever brought her here made sure she would find it homey.
Did something happen to her mind? Did Alice lose a chunk of her memory after moving to someplace new? Who lives in the other bedroom with all the video games and anime merch?
Then the cell phone on the nightstand starts to ring. Alice doesn't answer out of caution, but sees the name Ian on the screen. It's a coincidence, right? Her fingerprint unlocks the phone, much to her unease, and she listens to the voicemail.
It's pretty surprising hearing Ian's apologetic voice on the other end of the call, begging her to pick up and talking about past memories that mean nothing to her. This has to be an elaborate prank, right? Did someone pay Ben Sinning to record a message for her? But no one who has her phone number knows she likes Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack. She'd be too embarrassed to let anyone who knows her in real life that she's a fan of an erotic game.
It only gets more disturbing as Alice searches the phone to find pictures of herself that she never took... and a number of those pictures are with Ian and Shaun.
This has to be a dream, right? There's no way someone went to this extent to pull a prank on her, and there's no way this is real, so it must be... Pinching herself does nothing except make her feel pain.
After Alice has to take a minute to calm down from another freak out, she tries to figure out what to do. She tries calling her family... but no luck. The phone doesn't connect to anything, and other numbers are the same or different people answer who have no idea about the people she's asking for.
Alice is alone.
So this then leads to the question of what to do. Alice won't just stay in this world. She has a home with a family and friends to get back to! But how did she get here and how can she get back? It's got to be some supernatural element that brought her here, and the only supernatural thing she can think of that might fit is Jack... but he's not there and neither is his tape. She already checked when she looked around the apartment.
Alice has to know for sure. It's risky, but Jack is a supernatural entity. Maybe, just maybe, he'll be able to help her... if he does exist in this world. It's such a long shot, but it's all she has.
Finding a nearby thrift store is easy - it's within walking distance fortunately. Alice hopes it's this one she's looking for. The MC of the game did seem to be kind of lazy, so hopefully they didn't make it a habit of going to all the thrift shops in town.
The tape was in the messy shelves in the back, right? There's cracked ceramics, puzzle pieces in bags, and other assorted stacks of random knickknacks... but it's the black rectangular shape of VHS tapes that she hones in on among the junk.
Strangely, Alice doesn't have to look hard for it. The first VHS tape she spots draws her eye immediately. After carefully sliding it out of the stack of old worn out children's books, she finds the distinct piece of tape with "84 - INCIDENT" written in faded red marker.
For a moment, all Alice can do is stare at the tape. Maybe it's just because she knows Jack is in there and what he's capable of... but she can practically feel the tape calling out to her.
This is crazy. Alice knows it's one thing to indulge in a harmless fictional fantasy, but it's a whole other thing to make it a reality. Yanderes are dangerous, and she's gotten hints of what potential harm Jack is capable of. She can't help but recall the more horrific pieces of art she's seen, of Jack being manipulative and coaxing people into self-harm. Then there's the fan art where he's completely unhinged and murdering people outright.
But apparently Jack can't do anything his "sunshine" doesn't want. At least... that's what the people who made the game wrote about the lore. Hopefully that would hold true in this reality and that she isn't making some huge mistake by letting him out...
Plus, Alice can't help but feel a pang of sympathy and guilt. Jack did describe the tape as hell. With how much of a comfort character he's been to her, it almost feels unfair that she's even considered leaving him to such a terrible fate.
Ultimately, Alice doesn't have many options. It might be a risk, and so many things could go wrong, but Jack is the only hope she has.
After returning to the apartment, Alice takes a moment to psyche herself up, then plays the tape. She jumps hearing Jack for the first time amidst the static, confused but friendly. She sees his face on the screen, her heart hammering in her chest when it sinks in that this is really happening. He's even more handsome in person, but she can't let that distract her.
Alice had some idea about what to expect from the demo, but the exact things Jack says to her is a little different than she remembers from playing the game. Still, when he asks her name, she gives it. Hearing him say her name so cheerfully reminds her of all the nights she fell asleep listening to him talking so sweetly to "her," and her heartbeat quickens a bit. She also picks up the undercurrent of need and desperation when he speaks to her despite all his cheer.
When it gets to the point where Alice expects to pass out like in the demo, the conversation takes an unexpected turn. Just playing the tape didn't seal the deal between them. No, there are actual terms involved. Jack is willing to agree to anything, as long as she agrees to be his best friend forever and save him...
As I've made mention in many of my past headcanons, I think how Jack and MC are bound together was something they both consented to... though some of the things he said may have had implications that the MC didn't pick up on at the time.
Alice, being more savvy about Jack and what he's capable of is a bit more careful about the details... particularly when it comes to how best friends share everything and understand each other even without saying anything. She makes it clear she doesn't want her mind read, and Jack agrees without hesitation. When she agrees and the deal is sealed, she immediately passes out.
Like Sunshine in Hell, Jack falls in love with Alice at first sight once he's freed. How can he not when she willingly agreed to bind her soul to his in order to stay together with him forever and save him from hell?
Really, at this point this AU has some overlap with chapter 2 of Sunshine in Hell... though things do go a bit differently when Alice wakes up.
Alice doesn't remember anything after putting in the tape, of course. In her hazy half-awake state she thinks waking up in the game world for a while was nothing more than a weird dream. She's still dreaming, clearly, because how else would Sunny Day Jack be right in front of her, sweetly bidding her good morning? His smile is even more charming in person, and he's so close that she can feel his warmth. She's had dreams like this before, so why shouldn't she indulge herself?
Needless to say, Jack is both shocked and thrilled when Alice pulls him down for a kiss. He's a bit flustered really that his sunshine would be so bold so quickly, but at the same time it just proves to him what they have is special. It's clear to him that he's not the only one who fell in love at first sight. His sunshine must have fallen for him too!
Although Alice enjoys herself while in this dreamy state, the intensity of the kiss quickly ramps up, getting her pulse racing. She wasn't expecting his tongue against her lips, though she probably should have. Still, she lets him in, and jolts as he invades her mouth, giving her a first kiss beyond anything she might have imagined. She's breathless and flushed by the time the kiss finally ends, dazed for a different reason now.
Alice is fully awake by that point, and conflicting emotions cause her to freeze. She's mortified by what she did, but it felt so good, and the way Jack says her name in a breathless whisper sends a shiver up her spine. She remembers where she is, how she decided to find the tape and free Jack. She thought that she was prepared for what it would be like to have him here in front of her, possibly loving her with an intensity that should be impossible...
That's what cools the tempting heat Jack stoked in Alice. It isn't possible. Jack doesn't know her. He would have loved anyone who played the tape.
This love isn't real.
Although Jack can't read his sunshine's mind, Alice didn't consider the emotional connection between them, and he can feel her warmth towards him cool. Immediately he worries that he did something wrong, came on too strong too quickly. "What's wrong?"
Alice can't look at Jack as she gently pushes him away with one hand and covers her mouth with the other. "I didn't mean... I wasn't awake... Sorry, I shouldn't have..." Her explanations and apologies come out broken as she can barely piece her chaotic thoughts together.
Jack, growing even more concerned by that reaction, tries to be reassuring, telling her it's okay before asking if the kiss felt good. The question just makes her blush even harder. It did good - too good - and that's a problem. She's all jumbled up inside now with conflicting thoughts and emotions. The emotions are almost too much, overloading her, and she can still feel his lips against hers... how hot his tongue was in her mouth.
There's guilt too considering Jack looks like a kicked puppy, and Alice admits that was her first kiss.
Although still concerned by her reaction, Jack can't help but feel butterflies in his chest, and he admits, with a blush, that was his first kiss too.
"Did you enjoy it?" Alice asks, trying to turn his earlier question around on Jack to give herself a moment to think.
Blushing harder, Jack looks at Alice longingly. "Yes...," he says softly. "Alice... sunshine. I'm glad my first kiss was with you."
Alice isn't sure her heart can take such sweet words, especially when Jack is taking her hand in his. She squeaks when he kisses the back of it.
This is what she's wanted in her guilty fantasies, but this is wrong, isn't it? This isn't really love, it's infatuation. Alice knows Jack as a character, but not as a person, and he doesn't know her at all! She needs to focus on home, her family and friends and not this fantasy she's found herself living in.
It's a bit awkward, but Alice manages to put boundaries between them, and Jack accepts it. It's hard for him not to feel hurt, disappointed, and confused, but he assures her that he'll be whatever she wants him to be... He'll be her best friend forever and will never leave her as long as she doesn't want him to go.
Alice doesn't want him to go, and that's the problem. She needs to resist the temptation to just let Jack love her or let her crush blind her to the real person who is in front of her.
After things have settled a bit and Alice feels less like her heart is about to pound its way out of her chest, she starts asking questions - what Jack knows, what he can do... and she can see why the game said his answers could be confusing. Jack really does talk like believes wholeheartedly that he's the character he's portraying. It's kind of neat to learn more lore about the SunnyTime Crew, but it's not helpful for figuring out how she got to this world and how to get home.
Jack learns about Alice being from another world and is quite excited about it, since he did too! This world is so different than from CloudyTown, nowhere near as bright and colorful, but it's still nice in its own way! It seems like a good world to live in, and it's even better because they can stay here together and be best friends forever.
Alice makes it clear though that she wants to go back home. She misses her family and friends and she doesn't know anyone here.
Jack gently corrects her that she knows him. He's here because she wished for a best friend to be with her forever. Alice is kind of surprised by the statement that she wished for it... though it is true that she wanted Jack here.
Although Jack is sorry that he can't help her get back home, Alice does admit that she's glad he's here.
Things have gotten complicated, but at least Alice won't be alone. Sure, Jack is dangerous with his yandere desires aimed at her, and so tempting with his unconditional love... but if he wasn't there she'd have no one... and he'd still be trapped in hell.
No one but the MC could let Jack out. If Alice really was given the role of the MC... if she didn't free him, then he would've been trapped for possibly eternity. The very thought makes her shiver and feel terrible for him.
Thus, Alice is left living life in this new world with Jack, trying to figure out a way to get back home to her family.
The Question of Reincarnation
There's further complications to the situation, however. Perhaps playing the tape did something... perhaps it was part of Alice waking up in this place to start with... but she gets flashes of memories that don't belong to her, hints of emotions not her own.
Another Alice, another life... It's not much, but the flashes creep in when she doesn't expect it, especially when she looks through the phone at the old pictures.
Who was the person who looked just like her in these photos who was in love with Ian and friends with Shaun? The last name is different... she hasn't seen signs of a family. There was a person who lived a life here until she replaced them.
What happened to the MC who lived through the game's backstory? Who was this person Alice replaced?
Then there's how certain events seem a little off from what she remembers from the demo. Maybe she's mixing it up with fanon? Why does she remember having a sleepover with Shaun? That was too vivid to be just a dream. Why does she remember an event from a childhood she shared with Ian that never happened to her?
Jack does his best to support Alice. He's always there by her side, helping her get through the day, including dealing with working at the yogurt place when she doesn't actually know what she's supposed to do at the start. It's even more cringy to actually say the Yogurtopia slogan out loud as it was to read it, especially when wearing such an embarrassing uniform.
Unfortunately, Alice needs the money. She has no choice but to try and live in this place until she can get back home.
There were some memories that bubble up from her life back home though... of being in a hospital with her family around her... Things were serious... there was pain and such sad eyes looking at her... When did that happen?
There's so many unanswered questions. Alice needs to find out how she got there and how to get home. She's also wondering what the deal is with Jack the incident of '84. Maybe there's a way to free him from the tape and allow him to be his own person independent of her.
Although Alice tries to keep her distance, she can't help but really get along with Jack. He's just so sweet, friendly, and funny. His encouragement hits even harder when he's actually there, saying these things to her directly. They're getting to know each other and his interest in her and what she likes seems so genuine... it's hard sometimes to remember that he would've loved anything about her no matter who she was...
It's an overall complicated situation between them. Jack loves Alice, and he can feel that she loves him too. He doesn't quite understand why she keeps trying to put him at a distance even while at the same time clinging to him with such strong feelings towards him. It's troubling, but one thing she makes clear early on is her promise that she won't let him go back to the tape... as long as no one gets hurt, she'll do whatever she can to make sure he never has to go back to hell.
Jack will certainly hold Alice to that promise, just as he'll hold himself to the promise that he'll be her best friend forever.
As time passes, Alice finds it harder and harder to resist her feelings, especially in the face of so much love when it's clear that Jack has a genuine interest in her. She tries her best, but her crush on him eventually turns into love despite herself. Jack certainly didn't help matters by doing everything he could to encourage her to fall in love with him.
And Alice needs Jack. She needs his support, especially as more memories come back that hint that maybe, just maybe, the MC wasn't just someone who simply looked like her and shared her name... and maybe something happened in her old word that would make returning home impossible.
Jack will be there for Alice too when she learns the truth of her reincarnation into this new world... and the family she lost when she died in a world that predicted the next life she would live.
Just like Alice will be there to help Jack accept his past life as Joseph and the delusions he crafted for himself to cope with the loss of everything he held dear...
In the end, after a lot of drama and emotional turmoil that questions love and identity, there will be a happy ending for my OTP in this AU, but only after a lot of harsh truths and trauma about past lives... and how people can rewrite their own reality inside their own minds just because they don't want to deal with a painful reality.
Once Alice and Jack accept who they were before and who they are now will they be able to truly love each other and be happy.

These last volumes have so many chapters. But they're relatively short.
It's hard to think there's only two weeks left.
Stream-of-consciousness thoughts for TriMax Vol. 13, Chapters 1-3 below.
Volume 13 Covers
Ugh, Vash is in too much shadows here. But look at Livio! He looks happy! Is it because he's losing part of his shirt again? I don't think this boy likes shirts.
Aaand everyone's plans have bee thwarted by a friendly octopus. He has that many arms so he can give more hugs!
Shout out to pirate Livio's new and improved fish gun.
Everyone on the back cover's got weird eyes for some reason.
I like how only Elendira gets to keep her shape on the back cover. She's ready to be a dashing pirate.
Why is one of the chapters called "Black"? WHY IS ONE OF THE CHAPTERS CALLED BLACK?!?!
Chapter 1: False Mirror
Oooh, fancy Legato vs. Vash page. I like it.
Ey, it's naked, long-haired Knives again. Been a while since we've seen him.
Definitely Legato thoughts. I guess that day made a bit of an impression on him. Can't imagine why.
Man, this is why Legato wears them big-ass shoulder pads. If I had his history, I'd obscure my actual figure, too.
It sure is in character for Knives not to realize the value of the humans around him.
Gods, Vash looks both desperate and exhausted.
Aaaand Legato's fucking with him.
Holy crap, Legato actually asked Knives about killing Vash to his face??
Gods, Knives is absolutely yawning here for show. He's putting work into trying to make Legato feel like he means nothing to him.
Oh, Legato... baby boy.... You were never going to win Knives' affection by proving you could beat Vash in a fight.
Oof, he sees himself in Vash. I don't even think he's wrong. Vash feels like he's lost everything, that even what still remains, he's doomed to lose if only by the slow march of time.
I make a lot of comments about Legato's unhinged smiles, but I really like his pensive looks, too. I think he's one of the more expressive characters in the series.
I mean, if you want to get technical, he didn't kill so many of them so much as he happened to be more or less present at their death.
I'm curious how this coin holder is tied to a "prize" or a "gift" of some sort.
So... this isn't really a game to Legato. It's not even a test for Vash. It's a test for himself. He just can't shake the idea that if he can utterly crush Vash, he'll take Vash's spot before Knives. Gods, this little yandere.... The world doesn't work like that. Knives doesn't work like that.
All the Gung-Ho Guns he went through, and again, we have the mask side of Livio and a suspicious lack of Wolfwood. Even Chapel doesn't appear this time.
Chapter 2: Double Duel
I'm not quite sure what Vash is getting worked up about here. Perhaps he thinks Legato is making too much light of all the deaths of the Gung-Ho Guns?
Legato is not impressed by Vash's threat. He wants him to follow through or not bother.
I'm continually impressed by people's ability to apparently clearly talk around having the barrel of a gun in their mouth.
I'm honestly not sure what all is happening here. How did Vash get on the ground? What's happening with Legato's right arm? What's up with the pole on a chain? I guess Legato is moving the pole on a chain? It's too big to be reflected by the box he gave Vash, so maybe that's where he's putting his effort?
Well, he spat out the gun. Now he has pole.
Ah I thought I remembered it being attached to the weird boobed spiky ball thing. There's a name for this kind of weapon but I have a headache so I'm not looking it up right now. Generally, it doesn't have a humanoid attachment. It's just a spiky ball on a chain.
Heh, this is them getting their own back-to-back.
Yeah, Livio is hard to kill, thankfully.
Clearly, that's not gonna stop her from trying.
Ahhhhh!! It's good to see Livio comfortable with himself. It's easy to mistake him for a brute, but he has enough talent that, while Chapel didn't expect him to win, he did expect L/R to give Wolfwood a hard time.
Ahahahahaha, he's so cute here.
Chapter 3: Corpse Fire
It's ok, these people don't really have a concept of interstellar travel, so it's not like they have a formalized system for space ships landing.
I think Chronica's a bit desperate. And hurt. She definitely didn't take the loss of Domina lightly.
Legato, my boy, now you're just being dramatic. I mean, I know that's how you are... but Vash has never been keen on theatrics in the name of violence.
DON'T LICK THAT IT'S ON THE GROUND IT'S DIRTY EWW
I don't think Vash believes in things like "dying in a blaze of glory." I think he sees death as death, and that's kinda it.
LEGATO!!! This is NOT about who is "best!" KNIVES. DOES NOT. CARE.
Oh, honey. If it weren't for Vash, humanity probably wouldn't have lasted long enough for you to be born. I realize you probably wouldn't see that as a bad thing, so let me further note that if you had, he wouldn't have accepted you any more. He might have discarded you already because he wouldn't need your help wearing Vash down.
What the eff is this thing?! Now it's full of machine guns?!?
Hahahaha, Livio's trying to call a time out in the middle of the fight.
Ok, that's some impressive dodging.
I like how Livio is more annoyed at Elendira than he is mad that she's still shooting at him after he called for a time out.
Livio <3 Love how annoyed Elendira looks that she's been had, too.

Kali! Girl girl, hi, how you doing?
You know I love 420 Sukuna story of yours. Was reading other Sukuna stories and I wonder what kind of relation Sukuna and us have in your story? Reader is not one of his bitches nor his girlfriend. I got more like a personal slut vibe, yet we love him as well, and he is not exactly empty towards us. What have you thought about us?
Also I am very excited for your new Toji series! You never disappoint. Love ya, xx
Hey nonny! how are you pookies! I'm doing well. I'm about to knock some job applications out of the way then work on e2 of the nursery so i can post tomorrow.
oooh i love talking about these things in my stories so tysm for asking! but so for 420 sukuna is kinda based off this selfship i have. i love trueform!sukuna in the modern world, thats like my fav but i don't really see people write canon divergent so much as heian era or just a complete au.
so in 420 sukuna we aren't an official anything lol. you are right we are kinda like his personal slut or modern day concubine LOL! how i imagine it went down is reader is just discovering her cursed powers and caused a mini disaster/chaos ensues. sukuna just happens to be nearby when she does and thinks they might be useful to him so essentially kidnaps her. reader is surprisingly chill with it seeing as she destroyed her apartment so has nowhere else to go and does not know what to do with these powers so figures fuck it.
unfortunately for sukuna, you end up being kinda useless to him. the power itself is useful but reader is has zero knack for sorcery so you kinda fail badly at every attempt when sukuna forcers uraume to train you.
frustratingly, sukuna ends up trying to train you himself but hes mean af with even less patience and you are a huge brat so right when he gets annoyed enough to kill you he smells how wet you are just from him yelling threats at you. and you are also high key a monster fucker so this is living out the kinks of your dreams rn.
so overtime sukuna goes from trying to break you (this reader is also a machochist) to just accepting your presence and the fact you make an excellent cocksleeve. he just develops some sort of affection to you, as he hates the modern world and you are one of the only things he tolerates. but y'all bicker alot like a old married couple and neither of you care about titles so you just kinda ~are~ if that makes sense.
tyty!!! for asking and let me talk about it. i love geeking about this stuff. i hope you will like the toji series too!!! xx

massive what if in the dumb way of What if Tartar somehow lived? What would the agents do? What if it heavily involved the poor children?
Oooh that could be interesting. I know Iâve talked a little before about different possibilities for what could happen if Tartar came back. Unfortunately I havenât been able to find any of those posts to be able to link them here for reference, but I know one had to do with Tartar potentially having backup save files so we can say it survived through something like that.Â
Initially Tartar would just kind of watch for a long time like how it did before, but now specifically stalking the New Squidbeak Splatoon. It knows that if itâs going to succeed in its goal of creating a perfect world, it needs to make sure they wonât stand in its way. So it watches them for years until eventually the kids are all born. Then it makes a plan to target the children, because it knows that the agents care about their kids (obviously), so it can manipulate them through threatening the kids.Â
Actually, I can combine this with a different au I posted about I think only once. So one day the kids think it would be fun to explore the Deepsea Metro. All the danger is gone anyway, right? There are a few sanitized octolings who havenât gone through the Memverse yet, but theyâre not really a threat since Tartar isnât around anymore, right? They all go exploring and eventually they come across a puddle of greenish ooze. Gibbous warns them all that this is exactly what Acht talked about and that it could be dangerous, and some of them listen but a few donât. Megan dares Don to touch it, and heâs desperate to please his sister so he does. Obviously, this was a bad idea. He starts to feel the effects of sanitization immediately and, because heâs only a kid, he really canât fight it off even if itâs just a small amount of ooze. The kids try to rush him out of the Deepsea Metro, but a group of sanitized octolings come and take him away. The other kids are forced to flee and go tell their parents.Â
The agents are terrified and furious. The rush to the Deepsea Metro to try and get Don back. Though they do notice that itâs strange for the sanitized octolings to have done anything, seeing as there was no one to command them. The only one who stays behind is Captain because she has to look after the rest of the children.Â
Eventually, they do discover that Commander Tartar is back. Theyâre horrified, especially Eight. Whatâs worse is that itâs keeping Don captive simply to use him as a way to manipulate the New Squidbeak Splatoon. It knows that if it can threaten to hurt this kid, they wonât dare do anything. And Tartar can use Donâs memories as a way of targeting the other children too. It can find where they live and any place they might hang out to send sanitized octolings there and attack. It could even try to kidnap them too. And if it were to sanitize all of them, it would have a small army that the New Squidbeak Splatoon canât fight because they wonât risk hurting their kids.
Tbh thatâs about as far as my motivation ran me, now I have no idea how this ends. I mean, I donât really want it to end with Tatar taking over the world, so the agents beat him somehow and rescue Don, but I have no clue how.Â
Thank you for the ask!!! This was long but I had fun with it

Hi hi! á ( áą á” áą )á I hope you're doing well! I love your work very much and learn from you a lot! I appreciate your hard work!
I was just wondering...
Remember Chapter 165-166? What if Kokushibo succeeds in turning his descendant into a demon? How will Muichiro look after being transformed into a demon? And how will the upcoming battle go on? Will Genya, Sanemi, and Gyomei be able to defeat him along with Kokushibo?
Ahh!!! Ahhh!!! Evil Ask, Evil Ask!!!
Ok, first, you're welcome! I'm so glad you appreciate it and that you learn lots!
But now, back to evil. Evil, evil, evil Ask. I'm very tempted to say "powerful demons can take hours, even days to transform, clearly, this whole thing will be over and done with before Muichiro's even halfway through his transformation, nobody needs to touch a hair on his head" but clearly that won't do.
But also, even if Genya hesitates a bit, you know who won't? Muichiro's fellow Pillars, Sanemi and Himejima. The instant they see this happening, they aren't gonna take any chances. Yeah, it's sad, but let's not forgot that Sanemi has killed his own mother. He had to. Even if it would pain them to do it and they inadvertently wind up drowning Kokushibo with all the tears Himejima would cry, they wouldn't hesitate, and they would have full faith in this being what Muichiro would want.
But if we assume that Kokushibo changed Muichiro right away (clearly against Muichiro's will), and Muichiro completed the transformation quickly enough to be on Kokushibo's side and pose a major threat to his former comrades, we also have to wonder how lucid Muichiro is, as he'd be starving for human flesh. He probably wouldn't manage to get any off of Himejima, but Genya might be taken by surprise well enough for Muichiro to get a big bite (though he might take a Nichirin bullet on his way), and with how quick he is and hard to see coming, Sanemi might get bit too. This would be a best case scenario, because then they have drunk demon to work with instead. In fact, if they can tell right away that they're going to have too much trouble with him, Sanemi might even bait him that way. What with Muichiro probably not having solid control of his new demon abilities right away, that might be enough that they can give him a swift end before moving on to Kokushibo, but whether or not they can defeat Kokushibo without Muichiro's Red Blade contributions are questionable.
Ghhhhhhhhhh but this is MUICHIRO we're talking about and Muichiro is a genius. He's gonna figure out his new abilities in no time flat, lucid or not, isn't he? Evil, evil, evil... And I'm going to bow out of designing demon!Muichiro or his powers because I can't force these things, they come to me in bursts of inspirations and I'll bet other people have better ideas coming to them. All I know is that there's probably be Mist Breath involved and he'd be wicked quick. I'd imagine his Mark becomes a demon crest, and his eyes look glazed over like they did after loosing Yuichiro. Maybe something nifty about his replacement hand, like it's as white as his former Nichirin Blade or something. Oooh, maybe glazed white eyes would be cool, and white in his hair--like the top of it is white, the middle is teal, and the ends are black. Huh, what do you, I did get ideas. I kinda like that look but I AM STILL NOT LIKING THE EVIL OF THIS ASK.
It's it's just Himejima and Sanemi and Genya against Muichiro, or even just two of them against Muichiro, or even just Himejima on his own, MAAAAAYBE they'd find a way, but if it's the three humans against the Grandpa and Descendant pair... well.................
This was not a Fix-It AU.

DS9 4x21 For The Cause thoughts (Iâm re-watching, so beware spoilers for future episodes!) [15 July â23]
"You're the captain. He'll wait." XD you know that's not true from experience, Sisko
"You are evil." "I am a Starfleet officer, the paragon of virtue." This is such realistic couple banter XD
Sisko switching pillows so he can smell her, I get that, it's so comforting :3 Such a lovely detail <3 <3
"The Federation only gave Bajor two CFI replicators." Yes Kira, speak up for Bajor!
"Starfleet Intelligence believes the Maquis may try to stop the shipment or even seize the replicators for themselves." Well you would know that, wouldn't you, Eddington?
"There may be a Maquis smuggler here on the station." :O Is Eddington going to turn Kasidy in?! I guess if Odo noticed, he couldn't not look into it without it being suspicious...
Odo's trying to buffer this news for Sisko so hard.
"Who? Gentlemen?" Sisko's so eager to know but that smile will be wiped any second now...
"That's damned slim evidence to base an accusation." "We haven't made accusations. I said we have suspicions." Oh, Sisko.
"Gentlemen. There are times we have to search vessels docked at the station. If you can find a reason." He's good. It's a tough call but he's good. (Like he said, paragon of virtue)
Julian and Garak going on a date to watch tennis!
"Yeah, Nerys!" Julian usually calls her Nerys now? (Can't wait to get back to my spreadsheet to document this hehe.)
"What happened?" "A brilliant move on behalf of the Major. You should have been paying attention." Are you really trying to annoy him that much Garak? Made me chuckle though.
"Don't your neighbours ever complain?" "Sometimes, but usually it's only an excuse to get a taste of my cooking." I can totally imagine Dax doing this! But now I'd love to read a fanfic of Sisko over the years feeding a bunch of random DS9 personnel who cannot resist the smell of his cooking!
"I've got a problem. Do either of you know what a Kavarian tiger-bat smells like?" Oh Jake, I do love you XD Also every writer ever going "mood"
Ohhh. Suspicions have been raised. Oh Sisko <3
Kasidy really shouldn't just call up Sisko like that to ask for him to make an exception for her, it puts him in a horrible position.
Ordering the Defiant to spy on her, ohhh.
"I would not become a terrorist. It would be dishonourable." "I wouldn't say that around Major Kira if I were you." Oooh, I wish Kira had been there to hear Worf say that!
"How about you, Commander? How do you feel about the Maquis?" "I don't have any feelings about them one way or the other. Starfleet says to find the Maquis, I'll find the Maquis. They tell me to help them, I'll help them. My opinion is irrelevant. What matters to me is doing my job like a Starfleet officer. Anything else is an indulgence." Liar! (I guess it is kind of your job but damn you got us all good the first time round.)
Now I know that this Ziyal thing is supposed to be romantic I can see it (ick) but I completely missed all this the first time round.
Jake just read the room? XD Your dad clearly isn't in the mood for teasing.
I can see why Sisko reacts to Eddington's betrayal so hard later on - defecting to Maquis is a personal thing for him now.
Nog sending a baseball game to Jake! Very very cute!
Oh wait no is THIS when Eddington defects and not later?
"I can't guarantee the safety of Kasidy Yates. And to be blunt, I don't want that responsibility." That's just an excuse so he can stay on the station, right?
Oh, Sisko's last ditch attempt to save her is heartbreaking. "Why don't we drop everything and go to Risa. Just the two of us." Ohhhh đ
Kira slamming Garak into the wall and being protective over Ziyal! Yes, that's what I like to see!
"Paranoid is what they call people who imagine threats against their life. I have threats against my life." Oh, Garak. Fair point, though.
"Isn't it obvious? If Ziyal planned to kill me, Kira would not be trying to warn me away. On the contrary, the good Major would also welcome my untimely demise, and do nothing to interfere." "Unless that's part of the plan." "What do you mean?" "Oh, you know. Kira acts like she doesn't want you to go so you'll feel everything's okay, and then you go anyway. Nah, it's too complicated." Garak's face as Quark sets out something utterly believable to Garak, even though Quark's just joking. I need more of these two's interactions, they're always gold.
OH, KASIDY'S DELIBERATELY BEEN SENT OUT SO EDDINGTON CAN DO WHAT HE NEEDS
"I'm afraid I need to take command of the station for the next few hours." *shoots Kira* Yeah, he knows how competent she is, he wouldn't have a chance otherwise.
Oh, but damn, Eddington is GOOD. "You, junior officer, you're in command." Solid tactic.
Eddington's assessment of the Federation is chilling, actually. "Open your eyes, Captain. Why is the Federation so obsessed about the Maquis? We've never harmed you, and yet we're constantly arrested and charged with terrorism. Starships chase us through the Badlands and our supporters are harassed and ridiculed. Why? Because we've left the Federation, and that's the one thing you can't accept. Nobody leaves paradise. Everyone should want to be in the Federation. Hell, you even want the Cardassians to join. You're only sending them replicators because one day they can take their rightful place on the Federation Council. You know, in some ways you're worse than the Borg. At least they tell you about their plans for assimilation. You're more insidious. You assimilate people and they don't even know it."
"I spent five years in a prisoner of war camp by myself. I don't need your company." Gosh, I like this side of Ziyal.
"I'm not going to stand here and apologise for what I did. You had your duty and I had mine." I love Kasidy. She rules. Soft but unapologetic đđ You have my heart, lady

âThatâs all Iâm ever am tâ you and yours. Donât got the fuckinâ brain âtween any oâ you to knock on a door and ask a question, gotta do it witâ the whole curse oâ hell or threat of new juice box existence. Oooh, how scary.â Heâd probably even wave his hands if it didnât mean putting down his very important food, so the one handed finger wiggle was probably going to have to do with how silly this all sounded. Egotistical, all of them, but that just made it hilarious for him to watch what happened when they came across the very immovable wall.
A fleshy, immovable wall at that, but John was sure things out there had wanted to kill him for much less at least once or twice.
âIâm making a point, Edward, but if yâ want go flashing your pointy party fangs around, so be it. Been used as a chew toy by things much scarier than you, so bark about if yâ want for all I care, youâre âbout as scary as a Pomeranian tâ a bloke like me.â He even took a moment to flick a bit of chicken over, clearly testing how many buttons he could get away with pressing. âPrior engagement donât mean piss if Iâm not getting all the information I need tâ know. Yâ got a problem with that, then march your pretty arse out the door and outta my city.â
A single brow raised at the mortal's comment, swiftly reminded why he did his best to avoid humanity in the first place. He was too old and weary of them to actually deal with their wide range of moods. particularly the sharper-tongued ones. "You are of use to me. That is all." He calmly told him, eyes rolling at the fact that he had to remind him, hoping that he wouldn't have to elaborate even further. Explaining things always felt so tedious to him, especially when it came to humans.
He was an immortal, and he had patience -- - but it wasn't without its limits.
Being gestured towards the various ancient marks dotted around the place, that cruel gaze narrowing as he sat further forwards. "Are you threatening me?" His voice seemed to boom through the air, not one to take kindly to such a warning, though he'd ignore the man's incorrect guess of his age, Galeb wasn't one to start handing out his history. He wasn't keen on talking about these things with allies, let alone -- - whatever John had moulded himself into. "Very well." The Kindred stood to his feet. "I think I've had all I can take of you for today. Our prior engagement stands. All else is... up to you."
