Ok, so some new lore was added in Deluxe. Some of that new lore comes in the form of new Magalor information when talking to him when having 120 energy spheres (don't know which mode specifically).
Anyway, apperently Magalor isn't actually Halcandrian, however he DID spent a lot of time there.

MAGALOR THAT IS NOT HOW YOU START A SENTENCE, WHAT IN NOVAS NAME!?!?
Anyway thoughts?
First of all, thank you for sharing, I might never have seen this dialogue otherwise~
Secondly, I think the fact that Magolor talks that way is a large part of the reason people love him. XD ‘Evil’ is baked into his personality; even when he’s trying to be nice he still has to make it threatening (and I have no doubt that he does those little ‘gotcha’ jokes on purpose~). It’s very ‘classic-cartoon-villain-ish’; really makes him endearing and memorable, especially in a series like this where most antagonists have minimal dialogue.
Thirdly: I’m kinda…surprisingly un-surprised by the revelation that he’s not native to Halcandra. ‘_’ Personally I always felt like he was ‘left’ there somehow, like he saw it more as a place he was stuck in than a real ‘home’...so it’s not hard to make the leap from that concept to this. Although it begs the question…where IS he from??
I would write it off as unimportant (no one cares where Gryll came from, for instance) but since Mago seems to be one of HAL’s ‘specialest baby’ characters, I have this sneaking suspicion that they had him say it outright for a reason…hmm…
