new verse update: sandman edition

option 1 (default): cody has his canon powers because andrea was in possession of dream’s sand before and after he was born. while cody got stronger in its proximity, the same thing that happened to rachel happened to andrea, except it happened years earlier before dream’s escape :/

option 2 (by request, only works with comic timelines, and will definitely require plotting): you know how cody’s biological father is literally never mentioned or referenced in his canon? at all? and it drives me absolutely insane because where the hell did his powers come from? yeah about that...
