never take for granted a series that knows how to balance its emotional beats & the humor within it. my god... watching soul eater for the first time and it's so jarring aegahaha
#i haven't gotten very far bc i haven't had time to just. wind down & relax. but... damn.#even nno sometimes i was taken out of the moment; but it still made sense & was mainly the style that threw me off#bc like. we see how miharu&tobari are. their little back/forth... it makes Sense#& of course hk does it so well + knh learns when to drop the humor as the series goes on and the protags are threatened#but. ahhh... i can only hope the gags are better handled in the souI eater manga bc as is it's... aheem heem. oh tsubaki. sorry girl#jestersvaguely
