thinking abt that ‘culturally mormon’ person again honestly im almost prepared to accept it but like can you really claim to be a cultural minority if you belong to an organisation that has a $100 billion investment fund 😐

#the reason i would accept it is if ur ex mormon but still like #heavily influenced by growing up mormon #but then that feels more just like cult trauma like its not like part of your culture to not drink coffee and own no underwear #its not llike youre going to continue being proudly 'culturally mormon'. i assume lol #also individual mormons are like. exploited by the church rather than benefitting from its wealth #but its so strange to me bc idk where exactly it fits in w everything bc its fundamentally just like #a company.#even like catholicism isnt just like a literal company that runs malls on the side like i dont think that fits into any existing framework #we HAVE
