Sorry seeing this just gave me the funniest head canon that dadan has a handful of family photos, but all of them are a MESS. The boys are covered in dirt, their making faces giving the middle finger or just straight up fighting each other in every photo. And sure it captured them perfectly, but she doesn’t have a single photo with all of them just smiling and looking nice so she tried to fix that.

In the end, the photo doesn’t look much better than any other, but she loves it the most because she WON. Luffy took off that damn hat for a minute, Ace has a shirt on, Sabo isn’t trying to be a smartass and give the middle finger. Sure they look ratty from the sheer amount of wrestling that went into getting them dressed, and sure Luffy got decked two seconds after the flash but DADAN WON. it’s her favourite photo not cause of her boys looking happy. She has a thousand of those. It’s proof she won at least ONE battle against them. Or at least that’s what she says when she keeps it on display.
