jam has a fascinating atmosphere for a sketch show created via its use of 90s ambient as a soundtrack and the constantly changing footage speed/framerate/aspect ratio. now can you imagine if it was good
#biggest waste of 3 hours in my whole life was watching this shit#just listen to the eating a burger eith no honey mustard/silent hill ost tumblr post on loop whilst changing the settings#on your monitor every 5 or so minute and that will get you an experience rougly analogous to the good parts of jam#and if you eant the bad parts then go on any scummy 2000s message board for a couple threads and then run into traffic#i can count the good sketches on one hand. and the fact that its probably authorial intent that i can do that pisses me off to no end#sorry i watched this show like 5 months ago and recently saw a video review calling it groundbreaking#my brother in christ he just listens to aphex twin#tbf. to be fair. i would love another show thats similarly experimental with sound design and visuals and everything#even experimental with the kind of flat unfunny delivery of some of the sketches. even some of the edge maybe#but jesus christ how old is this man fucking 14
