Word of a Festival
“I said no, so piss off!” Meikakuna growls before stomping off.
Evelynn lets out an annoyed huff as she watches the Greninja leave. “Fine then darling, you would’ve ruined it anyways!” She shouted as the frog turns the corner.
During one of her recent outings Evelynn caught word of a festival that’ll be starting incredibly soon. Now she could care less for the reasoning behind it, what truly had her attention was the fact that it’s a festival and she hadn’t participated in such activities in a while.
Now she could’ve gone on her own without saying a word to the others, like a proper lady she had to ask around. Baborachi quietly declined the offer, stating that he’s uncomfortable of crowds and public events (and of course thanked her many times for even offering to bring him along). Kelviks also said no, saying that his searches around the world was more than enough time outside the arena for him. Meikakuna? Heh, the answer is quite obvious.
All that leaves is-
“Once again the Salazzle’s offer is denied, however this time more rudely.” Says a familiar voice. Evelynn smiles upon recognizing it, however before she could open her mouth the voice continues. “But it’s quite expected, for Meikakuna is not particularly fond of her. Then again, Evelynn was more than aware of the Greninja’s potential hostility...but would still approach her either way simply for the amusement of irritating her.”
Evelynn chuckles to herself and turns to face the Bisharp. “Guilty as charged~” She smirks, spreading out her hands. “But even then, I’m still a very courteous lady. It would be very rude of me to not include someone after all, hmmm~?”
Messara raises an eyebrow, however said action went unnoticed due to the mask of his helmet covering it. “She speaks of courtesy, however she has yet to press the question upon me.” He continues his narration, despite the words...his voice and expression contains no trace of sadness or irritation.
Evelynn presses the back of her hand against her chin as she slowly tilts her head. “Darling, I save the best for last after all. Of course I was going to ask you, I simply decided that you will be the last one to ask~” She flutters her eyes. “Now, how about it? Would you-”
“I must admit, it has been a while since I have left these walls.” The Bisharp, interrupts. “If the traveling word is correct, then you speak of a festival? Either case, I shall accept your offer and accompany you to wherever this celebration will be.”
“It’s rude to interrupt a lady.” Evelynn huffs, crossing her arms with a pout on her lips. The look didn’t last very long though as her flirty smile returns to her face. “But yes, it is a festival~ I think the reasoning for it is the celebration of some queen’s birthday, but that doesn’t matter.” She leans closer, her voice growing to a whisper. “There will be singing, dancing, and plenty of alcohol.”
Messara’s expression doesn’t move as she whispers that, however after a few seconds his eyes dart the side at the sudden sound of rumbling.
“DID I HEAR DANCING AND DRINKING?!” A loud voice booms as the massive frame of Tapferkeit stomps into the light, causing Evelynn to balk.
She forgot that the Golurk recently arrived, since Meikakuna brought him here due to him having the potential of being the warrior Kelviks was looking for. He’s only been here for a few days, hanging around and doing his own thing since Kelviks needed to make preparations for the upcoming battles.
Even then, Evelynn didn’t forget the Golurk by accident. She barely even knew the giant, so she saw no point in inviting him. He’s a stranger, why should she care?
The Golurk reaches down and grabs Messara’s shoulder with an arm, however due to the sheer size of the appendage...it happens to engulf most of the Bisharp’s upper torso. “Is this a true party I hear?” He chuckles. “I thought that such celebrations are dead to the world, that ‘Balls’ have taken over.” He releases Messara from the fingery prison, causing the Pokemon to stumble back. “BUT IT APPEARS THAT IT’S NOT SO! THAT THIS WORLD STILL HOLDS GLORIOUS CELEBRATIONS OF SONG AND DANCE AND DRINK!” He pumps a fist into the air. “Comrades, allow me to join you in this jolly event!”
Evelynn blinks once, then twice. Slowly her smile morphs into an annoyed frown, just as she opens her mouth Messara decides to cut her off for the second time in only a few minutes.
“The metal giant’s enthusiasm shows no bounds, for his desire to enjoy such a festival is quite obvious to the world.” He speaks, his lips containing a ghost of a smile. “I see no reason why the Golurk could not be invited, for this festival is not selective with its guests...” He glances over at Evelynn. “...No?”
With another annoyed huff she rolls her fine. “Oh fine... Very well, he can join only because as a lady I am obligated to be courteous to him as well.”
“AHA!” Tapferkeit cheers, his rumbling voice bouncing off the stone walls. “I give you my thanks for allowing me to accompany you, fair maiden.”
Her lips twist into a faint dark smile. ‘Darling, if you truly knew me...then ‘fair maiden’ would be the last thing that comes to your mind.’ She thought.
Messara gives a small nod of his head. “With that the decision is made, for now we have a band of three that shall go to this festival.” He taps his chin a few times before glancing at Evelynn. “The festival, it starts in a few days?”
“Actually, it starts in less than two~” The Salazzle chuckles, causing the Bisharp to raise his eyebrow for a second time.
“Last second decision as it seems.” He speaks before his lips raise into a tiny smile, a quiet chuckle escaping him. “However it is not surprising, for you are known for the sudden events.”
Evelynn merely shrugs in response. “Not this time dearie, since I just heard the news of it today. But we’ll need to prepare to leave soon, since it’s a bit of a walk.”
“Say no more!” Tapferkeit booms. “I shall retrieve my hammer, THEN IT SHALL BE A GLORIOUS PARTY WORTHY OF LEGENDS!” With that the metal giant stomps off, leaving the two Pokemon standing in confusion.
After a few seconds Messara speaks up again, voicing the thoughts that are plaguing both of their minds.
“Why would he need to bring a weapon to a festival?”
Evelynn merely smiles in response, her eyes narrowing slightly.
‘This’ll be interesting~” She thought.

Kari thought her heart stopped when this white and blue venomous fire-breathing reptile approached her. She hadn’t seen a Salazzle since her own unfortunate encounter with the Nobuan ones... The world fell almost silent around her as her dilated eyes remained locked in fear at Evelynn, her fingertips clamping onto the bark like jaws.
Realizing how she looked before the coquetteish lizard, Kari took a moment to gulp and snap herself back into reality, looking back at her wounded, resting companion. The medical ‘mon couldn’t let herself break, not here of all times and places. Not when her friend needed her. Struggling as best as she could to regain her strength, adrenaline coursed through her vessels as she grit her teeth. Panic-induced tears began to swell at the corners of her eyes, as a conflicted expression scrunched on her face, battling between the urge to fight or flight. The poor girl... despite her obvious fear and lack of fighting ability, she looked like she desperately wanted to be prepared to fight, for Momoko’s sake, if not her own.
“I-If I was poisoned on top of being infected, th-they said I would’ve... w-would’ve been...!”
She gulped, trying to retain her crumbling composure before Evelynn. Lest those dark thoughts could cause her to collapse, Kari swallowed and kept her eyes on the Salazzle.
“ ... P-please, just... j-just go away... nene... I-I don’t want any trouble...”
The Audino hyrbid’s so shaken from this reaction that she isn’t even realizing the damage she’s doing to her own fingertips from digging into the bark so hard, bruising from the grip.

Evelynn@Rocco: "Now aren't you a rather stunning individual, I like the accessories~" The Salazzle chuckles, flashing the Typhlosion with a playful grin. "I've heard that you're a mercenary, hmm? I hope you'll indulge in a lady's curiosity, because I must ask~ What's the most stunning thing that has happened to you during your career?"
“Oh, you flatter me, miss~ Might I say that you’re rather stunning yourself! Your flames really bring out your uh… Eyes.” Rocco awkwardly looked away and cleared his throat. “Anyways, let me start with that I started doing mercenary work as a Cyndaquil, along with a friend. It sounds strange, I know, but think of it as a junior exploration team or something; Except we needed to do what we needed to do to survive. To answer your question though, there’s just so many things I could choose from… But one in particular was when we had to hunt down a zoroark who was killing people and disguising himself as them. It was really hard to do it, especially when we had no idea who he could be, and if he knew we were after him. I almost became his next victim.” Rocco grinned. “He disguised himself as me and was about to take my friend out, but he managed to outsmart the zoroark and knock him unconscious, even despite the differences in strength. Most children wouldn’t know what to do in this situation, but we were far from the ordinary! Though, I guess you could say my friend did most of our work that time…” He rubbed the back of his head nervously. “Dosen’t mean I didn’t pull my own weight though! After all, what is a main character getting his title for if he does nothing?!” Rocco grinned, doing a little pose as he looked at Evelynn. “Does that answer your question?~”

wow Masou r00d that’s harsh bro, c’mon lighten up that’s not fair
but yeah here’s Delilah, obviously named by her mom. I imagine she’d take after Evelynn more, but would dress similarly to Masou and train under him as well as Evelynn to either win him over, or just to mess with him. Depends on how Masou behaves xD; I’m betting she’d do it mostly to mock him disguised as a form of flattery.

A Festival Worthy of Queens
[Location: Mirstone]
The three travelers known as Tapferkeit, Messara, and Evelynn set foot into the town square. The place is alight with activity of all the folks, from what can be witnessed it seemed that the festival has already started due to the excitement of the villagers.
“Sounds of delighted laughter fill the streets of this quaint village, both adults and children smile with joy as they flow from one activity to the next.” Messara narrates, his eyes darting from one excited face to the next.
“I doubt these ruffians have electricity.” Evelynn adds, much to the Bisharp’s amusement. The Salazzle’s eyes turn to the buildings, noticing their rather medieval appearance. “I do not know how one can live in such abysmal conditions, for a lady like myself quite appreciates the wonders of modern technology~”
“It is a life that has been chosen by them.” Messara chuckles. “And from what have witnessed, they are quite satisfied with this decision.”
Evelynn shrugs in response. “If they choose to live like primitive animals, then I see no reason to stop them~” This earns Evelynn a few looks from the passerby, but she could care less of what they think.
“The Golurk’s own excitement seemed to have overcome him,” Messara’s voice suddenly speaks, rousing the Salazzle from her smug thoughts. “For he has quickly left in order to find a place that he would feel the most joy.”
Surely enough Tapferkeit has already vanished, which is a surprising feat due to his rather massive size and heavy weight.
Evelynn turns to look at her companion through the size of her eyes, her lips forming a grin. “I don’t know about you darling but I feel like dancing. I know you’re quite terrible at it, so I won’t bother asking you to come with me~” She quickly turns and walks away with a sway on her hips. “Ta ta darling~ Don’t scare away any potential suitors with your narrations, alright?”
With that she blends into the crowd, vanishing from his sight.
The Bisharp shakes his head slowly at the insult, looking more amused than anything. “Once again the Salazzle’s teasing is expected, for it seems that she can’t live in this world without poking fun in another.” His lips curve upwards in a small smile. “Nevertheless, that is how she operates...so one can merely deal with it.” His eyes admire the town square again, the surrounding sensations of joy and excitement causing his small smile to gradually grow. “I wonder, what events will this festival hold? What faces will be found within the walls of this fair city?” He lets out a chuckle. “It is a mystery, but all mysteries will soon reveal themselves.”
[Tapferkeit, Messara, and Evelynn has arrived to the Queen’s Festival and are open for interactions!]

Rowan @ Evelynn: "Heyyy, I remember you! The pretty blue Salazzle from a while back! Long time no see, huh? Well, I wanna ask you something. Since I told you about where I'm from a little, why don't you tell me about where you come from? Are there a lotta Salazzle where you live?"
The Salazzle perks her head before turning to the source, she blinks upon seeing the ‘exotic’ Gardevoir and frowns internally when she recognized her.
She remembers her interaction with her in the past, specifically her attempts to get the girl flustered. To say the least it didn’t quite work as she hoped, since the only reaction from her was ‘no one called me exotic before’ and then simply answering her question.
Definitely no fun in that.
But at the same time, there’s perhaps still a chance that she could get some enjoyment out of this interaction.
“Me? Pretty? Oh dearie, you flatter me so~” She giggles, waving the Gardevoir off. “But you wish to know more about moi? Why so? Have you taken a particular interest in me~?” Of course that’s obviously not the case, but she still had to try anyways.
The Salazzle didn’t really wait for a reaction though, since she composes herself before placing a hand on her chest. “But if you truly want to know, I won’t keep a lady such as yourself waiting~”
“Although most Salandits and Salazzles are from Alola, I’m actually from a rather different area. I can remember the name of it since it’s a forgettable place to me, but I believe it’s located near Sinnoh.” She taps her chin a few times before continuing. “It’s a volcanic area has a high concentration of copper as well as salt, it’s not uncommon to find hot springs of salt water.”
Her grin widens. “Of course, when you combine copper and salt along with other various elements and then burn it...you get blue fire.” She gestures to her stomach. “Due to the high concentration of salt and copper, our own flames changed color as well due to the food there. That’s why our bodies have this gorgeous blue that looks FAR better than the typical pink~” She gives a wink. “I think it’s absolutely fabulous looking, don’t you agree?”
Evelynn giggles again. “Because of this my body naturally creates this colored fire as long as I properly eat food with high concentrations of copper and salt, my most favorite being liver and mushrooms~”
“Not to mention the area has a very high number of shiny Salazzle and Salandits.” She adds. “In fact, I’d say that the normal purple has become the new shiny there~”
The Pokemon leans forward slightly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “But that’s all the boring details, my origins aren’t quite as interesting as the lady telling it.” Her smirk widens. “But there’s a few other things I haven’t mentioned yet, but that requires...’digging deeper’~” Small wisps of blue flames leak from the edges of her lips. “Aren’t you...curious darling~? To learn of my secrets? All we need to do is get a room alone and I’ll tell you everything~”
Course there’s no way she’ll actually do it, but if this doesn’t fluster the Pokemon...then nothing will.

Ending the Festivities
[Location: Mirstone Outskirts]
[PoV: Messara]
The three of us walk down the dirt path, having recently left the town limits and making our way back to the arena.
The festival was certainly an eventful one, I couldn’t help but feel my spirits lifted to see such positivity. Although I didn’t partake in many of the activities, simply observing everything was more than enough for me.
Although I haven’t witnessed much of what the other two did, seeing their expressions and behavior showed that they enjoyed it as well.
The crusader is currently boasting of his feats and talking of his ‘jolly encounters’ while Evelynn listened with a small smile on her face, or at least that’s what it seems. In reality I knew that the Salazzle has absolutely no interest in what Tapferkeit is saying and is focusing on her own thoughts, such a detail would easily slip those who don’t know the tells...but I am not one of ‘those’ individuals.
My eyes flick back to the path ahead and more specifically at the forest we’re approaching. This forest will lead us back to the arena, where I am sure that Kelviks is waiting for us.
Once we return, he will most certainly begin the challenge and have Tapferkeit face each of us individually. Although I had no confidence with the past few fighters, I have witnessed the power this Golurk is capable of.
If I were to face him, I am unsure if I will be victorious against him...
...
...Let us hope that it’ll be that way.
[Tapferkeit, Messara, and Evelynn have left the festival and are no longer available for related asks/interactions! However all current RPs will still continue]

The Kiss of Death
[Third Person]
[Location: The Gold Serperior - A Bar located within Unova]
One year ago...
The blue and white Salazzle saunters her way inside the bar, a relaxed smile on her face. When feeling cooped up inside the arena, this bar is one of the many places she enjoys spending her time at when she wants to head out. It’s a ways of a walk, but the drinks and the company is well worth the distance.
Manning the bar is an elderly Lopunny wearing a black vest who goes by the name of Nixon, the long fur growing around his lips gives off the impression of a goatee. He smiles upon seeing the Salazzle.
“Evelynn!” He laughs. “It’s been a long time, how’s it been ol’ girl?”
The Salazzle’s own smile widens as well as she takes a seat at the bar. “The same happenings I’m afraid, dearie.” She chuckles. “I don’t wish to bore you of the dull workings of the arena.” She turns her head slightly, giving him a seductive smile. “So why don’t this handsome stud give this lady a drink? Because she could really go for something strong~
The Lopunny shakes his head in amusement, unfazed by her flirting. “All you had to do was ask, Evelynn. I’ve still got some of the good stuff left, would that be find with you?”
Her eyes sparkle at the mention of ‘good stuff’. “You know me too well!” She giggles. “Yes darling, I could really go for a good burn~”
And so the Lopunny went to work, taking a sparkling glass and filling it with a dark amber liquid. Once filled he sets it on the table, giving her a playful wink. “For a frequent customer, I’d say that this is on the house.”
“Oh how kind of you~” Evelynn giggles again, fluttering her eyes. “You’re going to spoil me at this rate, darling.”
The Lopunny rolls his eyes before resting his arms on the bar counter, a good-natured smile on his face. “What can I say? You’re a good friend of mine girl, I’d say that I can afford to treat you every once in a while.” He glances from side to side in mock caution before leaning close, his voice lowering to a whisper. “Not to mention this is an excellent way to get you coming back.”
Evelynn blinks a few times before laughing. “And it’s working! You’re a clever business man!”
The Lopunny grins before grabbing a shot glass and a cloth, proceeding to clean it. “When you run this place for a while, you learn a thing or two. But enjoy your drink Eve, just let me know when you need something.”
The sudden nickname didn’t bother the Salazzle, since she’s known Nixon for quite a long time. Instead she merely chuckles and takes a sip of her glass, letting a contented sigh as the strong alcohol makes its way down her throat.
Ever since she entered the bar a particular individual has been watching her, not once has his eyes moved away. The Salazzle of course was aware of this, but she chose to wait to see if this fellow was feeling brave enough to approach her.
And so he did, with a sly smile the Pokemon stands up and makes his way over. The Pokemon itself is a Haxorus, a fairly large Pokemon that stands much higher than the Salazzle. He sets a hand on the bar counter, giving her a cool smile.
“Now this is the first time I’ve seen someone like you in a place like this~” He grins.
Nixon looks at the Haxorus cautiously and then at Evelynn, as if silently asking if she wants some assistance. Her smile never once wavered however, which is a sign that she’ll handle this on her own.
“Well, darling...” She begins, looking up at the Dragon. “I’m actually quite a frequent customer at this wondrous place, so I assume that you must be new here~?”
The Haxorus blinks a few times in silence, not necessarily expecting this answer. Nevertheless he rolls with it. “New? Heh, if only! I’ve been coming here quite frequently!”
Evelynn rolls her eyes before taking another sip of her drink. “Alright dearie, I’ll believe you.”
It’s quite obvious from her tone that she doesn’t, which causes the Dragon to frown. It only lasted for a few moments however, since his smile returns. “So...how about I offer that the two of us-” He begins, only to be cut off by her.
“I have absolutely zero interest in you.” She says calmly before looking at him sweetly. “So save your breath, darling. You’re wasting your time with me~”
Once again the Pokemon is left in stunned silence, looking down at the Salazzle with wide eyes. However slowly his lips twist into a snarl, his eyes flashing with anger.
“Now don’t even think it.” Nixon warns, deciding to speak up now. “If you cause any trouble, I’ll have Rich kick you out.”
The Lopunny nods his head at a bulky Chesnaught in the back, who is glaring at the Haxorus.
A low growl comes from the Dragon as he shakes his head. “Whatever, be a bitch for all I care.” He grumbles before turning away.
The noise and bustle of the bar suddenly fall silent, the air becoming very tense. The Haxorus glances around in confusion as he notices this, just as he was about to wonder...the voice of Evelynn breaks the silence.
“What did you call me, darling?” She asks in a calm yet sweet voice, but behind those honey-like words...is something else. He turns to face her with a smug smile, but upon seeing the wary look on Nixon he couldn’t help but pause.
The Salazzle turns herself on her stool to face him, crossing her legs. “Dearie, are you familiar with ‘The Kiss of Death’?” She asks, a calm smile on her face.
The Haxorus shakes his head, he opens his mouth to speak only for Evelynn to cut him off for a second time.
“No? Oh dear... Perhaps this lovely lady should educate you on the matter~”
Evelynn slides off her stool and saunters her way towards him, a hand on her hip. Despite the Dragon standing well above her, she didn’t look at all intimidated.
“The Kiss of Death is a killing technique that a particular assassin created, darling.” She begins, stopping in front of the Haxorus. “She is known as Eris, one of the most feared killers for hire to ever grace this world. She is known for her skill, brutality, and...” Her eyes twinkle. “...lack of remorse.”
She lets out a chuckle. “Now, although she can kill others in various methods...’The Kiss of Death’ is her most infamous.” The Salazzle sniffs and casually gazes at her hand with what looks like disinterest. “Very few people know her true identity, so they never knew who she looked like. What she would do is approach her target and lure them into a false sense of security, and then...” Her voice lowers, looking at the Haxorus almost seductively. “...pull them into a kiss~”
The Haxorus blinks a few times in confusion, which causes her smile to widen. “Now...” Evelynn continues. “During the kiss, she would then spit a powerful acidic venom down their throat~ It would immediately begin breaking their flesh down from the inside, eating away at their mouth...throat...stomach...” She lets out a laugh. “And so much more~ The pain is most excruciating, it is considered one of the worst ways to die. However Eris did not care, for it was very effective and she didn’t need to get her hands dirty.” Her eyes narrow slightly. “And once her victim is dead, she would burn the body...so that it wouldn’t leave a trace.”
She turns away, crossing her arms over her chest. “One day she suddenly vanished from the face of the Earth, as if she died. However darling... Let me tell you a little secret~”
Evelynn turns her head back to look at the Haxorus, her grin widening as her eyes contain a deadly glint. “Eris is not dead, in fact...she is very much alive.” Her voice gets lower, containing an edge that would make even the strongest warrior nervous. “She is standing right here, and you called her...a bitch.”
The Haxorus would’ve laughed and said she was lying, but he couldn’t help but freeze when he saw her eyes. Her eyes contained a malefic glint, her smirk containing a confidence...that she could kill him anytime she desired.
With realization hitting him like a Rhyhorn, the Haxorus takes a step back. “N-Now there’s no need to get hasty!” He stutters. “H-Heh, I didn’t mean anything by it! J-Just me being stupid!”
The Salazzle snorts at this. “Stupid? Dearie, you have done something BEYOND stupid.” She takes a step forward, which causes the Haxorus to stumble back. “Now since Nixon has been generous to me, I’m feeling rather generous myself~” Her smirk vanishes, an annoyed frown now on her face. “So how about that you leave my sight and never return? In exchange, I’ll ‘forget’ we ever had this encounter. Does that sound good?”
The Pokemon nods hastily. “Y-Yes! I think I’ll go with that!” He quickly turns and starts making his way towards the exit.
“Darling~? There’s one more thing!” She calls to him, causing the Pokemon to stop.
The Dragon quickly turns to face the Salazzle, who’s looking at him sweetly.
“Now, if you tell ANYONE about what I told you...” She says slowly, with each word her malicious smile works its way back onto her lips. “I will know, because I still have my connections. So if you let one word slip?” Her eyes narrow. “I will kill you, simple as that. You can’t run from me, nor can you hide. I may have retired, but I am just as good as I was then.”
She lets that hold in the air, enjoying the way the Pokemon was shaking. Satisfied that he got the message she waved him off, her seductive smirk returning. “Now run along dear, I’m not going to keep you here any longer~ But remember! No telling, your life is on the line after all~”
Looking like he’s going to wet himself, the Haxorus turns tail and sprints out of the bar.
Salazzle chuckles to herself before looking at the rest of the patrons in the bar, who are looking at her warily.
“Darlings, you have no need to worry!” She says with a shake of her head. “You know me and I know you~ So I don’t have to worry about any of you telling, hmmm?”
“NO MA’AM!” A chorus of shouts came from the Pokemon, which the Salazzle nods with satisfaction.
“See?” She grins. “Nothing to worry about! And since I’m feeling rather good, I think I’ll buy you all a round~”
Several ‘thank yous’ and well wishes fill the air as she slowly makes her way back to her stool, where a particular Lopunny is looking at her with a frown.
“I could’ve just had Rich throw him out.” Nixon sighs, rubbing his temples. “You didn’t need to do all that.”
The Salazzle shrugs in response. “What can I say, darling? He needed to understand who he’s talking to, after all~”
She takes a sip of her drink, letting out another contented sigh. “I think I’ll have another one of these, Nixon.”
The warm smile returns to the elderly Lopunny’s face as he reaches for another glass. “Alrighty, Eve. But since I have to make a living here, you’ll need to pay for this one.”
“Of course, darling. Of course!” Evelynn laughs. “I’m not THAT cruel!”
The Lopunny pauses while making her drink and raises an eyebrow at her, Evelynn notices this and pouts. “Alright fine, I’m not cruel to those I like. Are you happy?”
Nixon chuckles and continues back to filling the glass. “You can say that~” Upon finishing, he places the glass in front of the Salazzle. “And here we go! Strong stuff for a strong lady.”
Evelynn crosses her legs and takes the new glass, having finished her other one. “Thank you, dearie!” She takes a sip, enjoying the burn the liquid leaves in her throat. “Do you assume that the boy will be coming back?”
Nixon snorts. “The Haxorus? Nope, I bet that by the end of the week he’ll have fled the country. A retired assassin can do that to people.”
Evelynn giggles and pulls out a large wad of cash from her bag, setting it on the counter. “This should cover me and your other customers.” She says, pushing it towards him.
Nixon raises an eyebrow again and looks down at it. “Sheesh, Eve. How much did you make during your old job?”
Evelynn merely smirks in response. “That would be telling, darling~”

Excuse me Evelynn? I'm wondering if you have a boyfriend, if not are you looking for one? :3
The Salazzle couldn’t help but smirk upon hearing the question, because she definitely knew where this was going. Upon turning to look at the individual she paused, realizing that they lacked...any sort of identity. However...this was not some alien-ish creature, for this is a disguise...the strongest form in other to conceal their nature.
Upon fully understanding this her smirk widens. “A boyfriend?” She lets out a laugh. “Oh no, not currently~ However, I’m not currently looking for one either.” She places a hand on her hip, letting her lips spread to a wide grin. “I’m in no rush after all, dearie. I also have dignity, you won’t see me throwing myself at any person who shows even the slightest bit of interest in me after all~” She lets out another laugh. “Not to mention I’m not interested in only one gender, if any person shows the characteristics that I’m looking for even if they happen to be a lady like myself...I don’t see any reason on why I would say no.”
The white Salazzle looks over the anonymous individual, her smile becoming one of pity. “And darling, let me give you some advice. No person with self-respect will go out with someone who must hide themselves behind a mask.” She turns away and waves the individual off. “Now shoo, a lady like myself has more important things to do~ However if you’re insistent on wanting to get into a relationship with myself, then you must ask without the mask. However...”
She glances back to them, smirking once more. “...I HIGHLY doubt that my answer will be any different~”

Origins of the Grandmaster [Part 2]
(Part One is right here!)
When the warriors never returned, Kelviks was forced to take matters into his own claws. The horrid beast will eventually return, and if nothing stopped it...it shall surely bring this land to ruin in its rampage.
Kelviks alone can’t take on the beast, even if he were to lure it to the structure where he could use his link to make him stronger. No...he needed powerful warriors...
One would think that gathering an army would be a simple solution, but the Golisopod thought otherwise. Seeing how easily the beast killed experienced Human and Pokemon warriors, sheer numbers would be too costly.
He needed at least one warrior capable of standing up to this beast, however...how will Kelviks find such a warrior?
Begrudgingly he left the comfort of the structure and ventured out into the land, asking around and keeping an eye out for individuals who showed great promise.
Sadly most warriors he found that others said were strong...did not meet his expectations... Although there was the rare few that did show such promise, when he brought them back to the arena for a proper dual...Kelviks would win by a landslide.
These ‘promising’ warriors always lacked in something; either being too reckless, too slow, too weak, or other various (or even combinations of said) faults that would be their undoing if they were to fight the beast.
And so it eventually came to the point where Kelviks has seen it all, a mere glance and a brief conversation is all he needed to know if a warrior held potential or not. The few he thought had potential? He would be disappointed again and again when they fought him on his own grounds...
Slowly his hopes began to dwindle as time passed, the prospect of finding someone that suited his needs seemed bleak.
...But one day an idea struck Kelviks, something that he should’ve thought earlier.
He was doing it all wrong, to have them immediately fight him. He needed to create some sort of ‘trial’, where these warriors would test their skill to overcome certain conditions in order to prove if they excelled in areas that is required in order to survive and beat this beast.
But how would Kelviks do this? What sort of ‘trials’ would they be?
It wasn’t difficult for him to decid, he needed Champions. Warriors who contained specific skills that forced a challenger to overcome in order to succeed, to prove that they wielded the qualities Kelviks seeks. And if they beat these Champions? THEN they can fight Kelviks, for they have proved that they are worthy enough.
These ‘trials’ sound like an arena fight, which actually describes them quite perfectly. In fact, Kelviks remembers one particular chamber in the structure that resembled a sort of arena. It had a perfectly flat ground, it was circular, very massive in size, contained two openings, and even had several raised stands for one to overlook the area...
Yes...that place will do perfectly to host these fights...
But when he thinks about it, constantly calling the building itself ‘structure’ doesn’t do it much justice. It needs a name, something to give it an identity.
The Coliseum? No no... It needs to give it a sense of uniqueness, to describe its greatest qualities...
The Arena of Ancients?
Heh, that’ll do...quite nicely actually.
And so Kelviks continued his search, but with different individuals in mind. He found many warriors that would be promising Champions, however most declined despite how much he insisted...
...But his search was not in vain, for he found four individuals that not only matched the qualities he desired but agreed to be his Champions.
He found a Salazzle by the name of Evelynn, she’s a very capable fighter who excelled in agility as well as ranged attacks. It would force the challenger to use agility in order to avoid her attacks and overcome her, thus making her a valuable choice as a Champion.
Another individual is a Bisharp known as Messara, a very intelligent and cunning duelist who relied on trickery as well as exploiting weaknesses. To defeat him the challenger is forced to not only be skillful but also just as intelligent, thus why he is another valuable choice for a Champion.
Baborachi is another individual, a kind-hearted Machamp who possessed a very powerful side in combat. His brutality in combat as well as strength is unmatched, in order to defeat him the challenger will have no choice but to match him in strength. Despite his strong dislike for violence he came with Kelviks, his great strength proving to be an invaluable Champion.
And finally is a Greninja named Meikakuna, an individual who possessed the unique style of combat of using the terrain against her foes. By making the ground hazardous with various moves her opponent will need to be incredibly knowledgeable and wary of their surroundings, for being reckless will only get themselves further injured.
In exchange for them being his Champions, Kelviks has given them a place to live inside the Arena of Ancients. Each of them were given a room, using what small treasures he found over the journey he assisted them in buying whatever things they need in order to make themselves at home.
Messara, Evelynn, and Meikakuna accepted their rooms gratefully. Baborachi however preferred to reside within the massive chamber with the gaping hole in the ceiling, where he could nurture the plants there and make it much greater than it is now.
It took a long while to make sure their stay was fully comfortable, buying appliances was one of the biggest challenges. His knowledge on such things were non-existent due to his isolation, so he learned a good deal on modern technology while working out these necessities. Electricity was out of the question due to the nature of the Arena, in the end they had to make do with devices that ran on wood or batteries.
Despite these limitations they managed to make their stay quite comfortable, and with it finished they began spreading word of The Arena of Ancients. Eventually warriors of all shapes and sizes came, eager to test their might against the Champions.
Sadly most didn’t seem to understand the reason for the Arena’s existence, for they desired either to obtain fame or to just test themselves. A good number weren’t even allowed to challenge it, for Kelviks knew that they didn’t have what it took.
Only a few warriors out of the ones that did particiapte managed to beat all four Champions, however they were incapable of defeating Kelviks himself.
This went on for many years, the number of warriors wishing to test themselves decreasing the longer time passed.
And as the warriors became fewer, so did Kelviks’ hopes grow smaller. It seemed that once again the situation was bleak, that he would never find the warrior that could help him defeat the beast.
With nothing else to do, he let word of the Arena die out. No longer did warriors come to challenge it, for most those that came didn’t fit his desires anyways.
Despite the fruitlessness of their attempts he became quite close with the Arena’s Champions, although their own relationships with each other were mixed...they were happy with staying with Kelviks.
With an absence of any new challengers, Meikakuna herself suggested that she would search for anyone of promise during her various supply runs. Overtime she gained an eye for potential just like Kelviks, so she knew who would hold the possibility of overcoming the challenges and defeating Kelviks.
Seeing no other options as well as trusting her judgement, Kelviks agreed.
And thus he waits, hoping that Meikakuna would find a warrior that she would believe would be capable of defeating the Arena of Ancients.
He rarely left the arena anymore, only occasionally to check on the status of the place where the beast will return. No longer did he need to go outside to hunt, for with supplies brought by Meikakuna as well as the food grown by Baborachi supplied everything they needed.
The Machamp brought down needed soil and used bought fertilizer to make the place rich for plants, with some seeds and a caring hand it became what one can only describe as a paradise.
Many fruits and vegetables grow there as well as beautiful trees, bushes, and flowers. Baborachi would use these plants for food and medicine, his medical and culinary skills are something many would be envious of.
Messara would spend his time reading as well as teaching Kelviks and the others with his vast selection of literature and history. However if one were to feel daring, he wouldn’t mind accepting a challenge to a game of chess.
When not teasing others with her flirting (specifically Meikakuna), Evelynn would either go out to towns for social interactions or spend her time singing in her room to music on her media player. During her outings she keeps an eye out for any curious individuals, for if any catch her eye...she would notify Kelviks or Meikakuna.
And so...they wait, to see if Meikakuna would ever find someone that could be the one.
...However...as of now...she may have found that said individual...
...All that’s left to do is for her to see for herself...

The Arena of Ancients
[PoV: Meikakuna]
[Location: The Arena of Ancients]
The travel back here took me many days, however with the excitement of finally finding someone who held the potential...the walk meant nothing to me.
Upon finding the stone entrance I proceeded down the stairs, the walls lined with small crystals that gave enough light to properly see. Upon reaching the main chamber I look around, only to stop when my gaze falls upon Kelviks. It’s obvious that he was waiting for me, his hulking form looking almost intimidating in the light of the crystals.
“Welcome back, Meikakunaaa...” He hisses with a small bow, slowly making his way towards me with a loud clacking sound with each step he makes. “Your journey, I assume it went...wellll?” The Golisopod looks down at me, his tone sounding hopeful.
So I tell him.
I let my smile be shown, giving him a nod. “Hopeful indeed, Kelviks.” I say. “The Crusader, Tapferkeit... I’ve witnessed him in combat, and from what I’ve seen...he is a force to be reckoned with. I believe he holds the potential to be the warrior you have sought all this time...”
Kelviks lets out a laugh, a low...yet relieved laugh. “Yesss... Yes yes... Meikakuna, I thank you...” He bows his head slightly at me, the chain-like mask covering his face clinking faintly as it waves from the movement. “Tapferkeit...his tales show promise, very much sooo... To have you visually confirm, Kelviks...is pleased...very much sooo...”
I nod my head in return, as I open my mouth to comment further I freeze as I hear a particular voice shout my name.
“MEIKAKUNAAA~ DARLING!”
Before I could turn I feel a pair of arms wrap around me in a tight hug, my body immediately tenses as a scowl replaces the smile on my face. “Evelynn, get off me!” I hiss, pulling said Salazzle’s arms off and pushing her away.
I turn to see her giving me a pout, crossing her arms. “Now that’s not a way to greet someone who’s missed you, dearie.” She huffs. “It appears that despite getting some fresh air, your sour personality hasn’t changed at all.”
I grit my teeth together as I could do nothing but glare, it’s obvious that she’s trying to get under my skin...but it infuriates me to no end.
And Evelynn knows this, seeing how a smirk is tugging at the corners of her lips. She turns her head to look at Kelviks, her icey blue eyes glinting with curiosity. “Now you look like you’re in a good mood, Kelviks dear.” She chuckles. “I assume that Meika has found something good?”
I clench my hands into fists upon hearing the nickname, something that Evelynn also does to anger me. Before I could open my mouth I find myself cut off once again, but by Kelviks this time.
“Indeed, Evelynn... Very much indeeeeed...” He chuckles in return. “Meikakuna...has sought out the Crusader, and she says that he holds potentiaaaal...”
“The air feels much lighter in this chamber, more so than ever before.” Another voice cuts through the air, signifying that no other than Messara has arrived. The Bisharp steps into view with a small smile on his face, trailing behind him is the Machamp known as Baborachi. “The glee on the Golisopod and Salazzle’s faces shows what the answer is, for that the Greninja has found the one that we have been seeking.” His gaze turns to me, his smile turning into a faint smirk. “However the air surrounding Meikakuna burns with anger, showing that she has fallen victim to Evelynn’s teasing...as always.”
“Welcome back, Meikakuna.” Baborachi says softly, looking at me with a soft smile.
At this point I take a deep breath and shake my head, since I’m just letting myself get worked up. With my emotions more under control I give a weak smile back at Baborachi. “Thank you, Baborachi. It’s good to see you again.” I glance at Messara and give him a glare, who replies with a shrug.
“From the glare I’ve received, it’s obvious that Meikakuna does not appreciate my narrations.” He chuckles. “However this is the way things are, for none shall be spared from my words.”
Kelviks’ small claws near his neck tap together multiple times, creating a distinct clicking sound that draws are attention. “Champiooons...” He says loudly, he looks at us to make sure he has our full attention...and then speaks to me.
“Meikakuna, when will Tapferkeit arrrive?” He asks.
“He did not specify.” I respond simply. “However he gave me his word that he will come, however there are some things that he requires to finish before he can come.”
The Golisopod nods at this before looking at the rest. “Now...it is time that we prepaaare for the warrior’s arrivalll...” He lets out another low, chittering chuckle. “Spread word of the Arenaaa, once again...it is opeeen... By spreading word, it makes it easier for him to find us yesss?”
“And what if others show up, dearie?” Evelynn inquires, something that I was about to ask myself.
“Let them come, let them come!” He laughs louder. “Kelviks...is willing to test out other warriorrrs if needed, however by spreading word...spreading knowledge...” The gem on his forehead glows, but only briefly. “...He will find us with...no difficulty... Yes yes...”
He lowers his giant claws to the ground, tapping the stone ever so slightly. “The Arena of Ancieeents...is open once...again...”

The Chronicler of Shadows
[PoV: ???]
[Location: ???]
Not a few minutes earlier Kelviks came in to inform me of the possibility that Meikakuna may have found a fighter with potential.
It has been a long while since we’ve found someone who beheld such promise, sadly however their capabilities didn’t match our expectations. Such a thing is to be expected, however it’s disappointing nonetheless.
My gaze glances around the chamber I call my ‘room’, my tastes in decorations are modest. I’ve hung a few pictures on the stone walls to add some variety, a large bookshelf to keep my collection of reading material, a bed to sleep on, a nightstand, a coffee table and assorted chairs, and finally...a chessboard on said coffee table.
I walk over to the table, my metal feet causing loud clicking sounds against the stone. I sit down on one of the chairs, my eyes narrowing at the pieces strewn around the board. Occasionally I get a few players, whether it be Kelviks or Meikakuna. However it’s not unexpected for me to play against myself, such as what I’m doing now.
I move a black rook forward, setting in place to Check the white King. This game has taken place over several days, where I would occasionally move a piece every hour or so. At this moment the black side appears to be winning, for it holds more pieces.
However little does black know that white has been setting an elaborate trap, by positioning its various pieces in specified locations it waited for the right opportunity to strike.
And with the Rook having moved, it provided that such opportunity. I move my white King, opening space for the white Queen that had been sneakily hiding behind. This forces the Black King into view of the White Queen, but it can’t move. One space is locked down by a Rook and Knight, while the other is blocked off by its own pieces.
Checkmate.
With satisfaction I smile, giving a small nod of approval. Yes I technically set this up, but it was a good thing to see in the end. Chess is a game of mind and tactics, by playing the game...you also learn what to not do in actual combat.
I pause as I hear something, a second was all it took for me to figure said sound to be very faint footsteps. I have trained my senses to detect the faintest of hints, whether it be quiet sounds or small details. I’ve gained these senses through a special training, the training of awareness and...narration.
By narrating the things around me, it allows me to search for details one would normally miss. It increases my perception, giving me an advantage over others. It’s also quite enjoyable too, not to mention it proves to give me an advantage when it comes to combat.
Between everyone that resides within this ancient structure, those near silent steps match only two individuals. Meikakuna and Evelynn... Meikakuna is currently out searching for this warrior Kelviks mentioned, so Evelynn is the logical conclusion.
I wait for her knock on the door, then I begin.
“The Salazzle knocks on the door, the three taps create a soft noise against the stone door. The daintiness of their footsteps betray their identity, allowing me to know who they are.” I say aloud, still sitting in my chair. “Come in, Evelynn. What brings you to my chambers?”
The door opens and the white Salazzle enters with a swagger in her step, an amused smirk on her face. “It appears that I can never get the jump on you, Messara~” She chuckles. “Darling, has Kelviks told you the news?”
I start placing the chess pieces back into play-ready position, my eyes glancing down to the board. “Evelynn walks into the room, her steps containing the confidence she always bears. She points out the obvious with her comment in an attempt to spread humor...” I look up back up her, an amused smirk of my own forming. “Such attempt is appreciated nonetheless.” My eyes go back to focusing on putting back the pieces on the chessboard. “To answer your question, yes...Kelviks has informed me of this warrior. Is that why you desired to seek my company?”
She lets out another laugh. “Oh no, not at all! In fact...” The Salazzle winks playfully at me. “I’m wondering, are you busy later~?”
I glance back up at her, my expression turning into an unamused frown. “Once again the Salazzle attempts to ask me out for a date, despite the fact that I’ve told her numerous times that-” I narrate only to pause, specifically because she’s laughing.
“You’re so easy!” She barely manages to say. “Messara you silly Bisharp, I’m not asking you out.”
My eyes narrow in irritation, deciding to wait in silence till she calms down to explain what exactly she desires from me.
After several long moments, she eventually regains her composure. “I’ve grown a bit rusty to be truthful, dearie.” She chuckles, wiping a tear from her eye. “It’s been a while since I’ve had a proper fight, or even a spar.” She gives me a knowing grin as she sees the realization in my eyes. “It’s not good for a lady such as I to be in such a state, so I’m asking if you’d like to spar in the arena.”
I place the last pawn into position before standing, once again my smile returning. “When the Salazzle finishes her offer, I can’t help but shake my head in amusement. It’s unexpected for one such as Evelynn to desire for a spar, seeing how she often avoids getting her hands dirty unlike a proper individual.”
Evelynn blinks before scowling, she opens her mouth to argue only to pause when she sees my grin growing. She lets out an annoyed ‘hmph’ and crosses her arms. “That’s not funny, Messara.” She mutters with irritation.
“The Salazzle’s annoyance is obvious, but deserved nonetheless.” I chuckle. “It is only fair to return to favor for her earlier attempt, after all.” I step away from the table and walk past her, making my way to the entrance. “Your offer is accepted, sparing with others will quickly refresh your skills.”
“Then it’s a date~” She purrs slyly, causing me to stumble in my steps. I glance back at her with annoyance once again, she merely winks at me in response before walking past me with a sway in her hips. I let out a soft sigh before leaving my chambers, closing the door behind me.
“I don’t have all day, darling!” Evelynn calls from down the hall, quickly making her way over to said arena. “Don’t keep a lady waiting, Messara! It’s awfully rude, after all~”
I roll my eyes in response, but I couldn’t help but smile. “Evelynn’s antics is to be expected, but they catch me off guard once again.” I say to myself. “However little does she realize that I intend to not go easy in this spar, for it is only expected. If she desires to train, then I shall give her a challenge in return.”
With that I walk down the stone halls, the crystal torches showering the walls with multi-colored light.
Heh, it’s about time Kelviks turned on the lights. It was starting to look like a cave in here...

The Lady of Azure Fire
[PoV: Evelynn]
[Location: ???]
I make my way over to the table where my media player stands, a soft sigh escaping my lips as I look through my selection of music. Most music I listen to tend to be instrumental because of my love for singing, a lady has to have her passions after all hmmm?
After flipping through the songs I decide on a particular one, one of my most favorites. Once the music plays, I take a soft breath and begin to sing. Such a song has no need for words, every tune doesn’t need lyrics to be beautiful.
It also gives my voice a good workout, not to mention it helps me pass the time. This place has grown rather dreary and stuffy as of late, I should probably go out more.
As I sing I let my gaze wander through the room, MY room. This place with its stone walls tends to get rather dull, so with my hand of decoration this place looks fit for a lady such as myself. Nice reds and pinks cover the room, contrasting quite nicely with my bright white and blue skin.
I hear a knock on the door, immediately I pause the media player before turning to face it. “Come right on in~” I purr, letting a sultry smile work its way onto my lips. I’ve learned that it’s quite fun when I flirt with others, their reactions are always priceless.
The stone door opens with the sound of stone rubbing against one-another, allowing me to see who it is.
“Kelviks my darling, what brings you here~?” I singsong, making my way over to my bed before draping my body onto its covers. Even though Kelviks doesn't get flustered from my flirting, I still do it until the one day I finally get him to blush.
Said Pokemon steps into my room, the clicking sounds are heard from the steps he makes. It’s quite easy to notice Kelviks approaching you, but perhaps my music was too loud for me to hear. “Kelviks has something to tell you...” He begins only to pause, his gaze turning to my media player. “I am not interrupting anything, nooo?”
I let out a playful giggle and wave him off. “Oh no dearie, not at all! I was merely keeping myself occupied, your company is actually quite refreshing~” I give a wink for added measure, which causes Kelviks to chuckle in response. Drat, maybe next time.
“Gooood..." He says. “Kelviks has something important to tell youuuuu, something very important indeeeed...”
It’s not often that the dear has any news to tell, since nothing really happens here. I couldn’t help but lean forward, my interest quite obvious for the Pokemon. “Important? Well don’t keep a lady waiting, what is it?” I ask, my impatience somewhat getting the better of me.
“Meikakuna has come to Kelviks earlier, saying that she may have...found a worthy...wariorrrrr.” He answers, I couldn’t help but blink a few times before fully realizing what he said.
“A worthy warrior? You mean that Meika found something?” I say, my shock quite evident. “That’s...definitely very important, it’s been a long while since we’ve found someone that could potentially be the one.”
Kelviks nods his head before pausing, I couldn’t help but smirk as I have a good reason on why. “Careful Evelynn...” He hisses, although his amusement is quite clear. “You must not call Meikakuna by such a name, you know how she...feels about iiiit...”
Oh yes I am quite aware, actually. She often gets EXTREMELY bent out of shape when one gives her a nickname or flirts with her, which of course I gotta do both of those things since it’s quite hilarious. “But she’s not here~” I giggle, rolling onto my back. “She doesn’t have to know, hmmm?”
The Pokemon shakes his head before chuckling. “You have been warned, Evelynn... Kelviks will not be held responsible for what she may...do to you...”
If that girl wants to pick a fight over a petty thing, then I’d like to see her try~
“Nevertheless...” Kelviks continues. “I must tell...the otherrrrrs, for if Meikakuna speaks true...then there is much to preparrrre.” He gives me a small nod. “See you soon, Evelynnnn...”
I give a playful smile and a small wave as he turns to leave. “Fair well, darling!” I say to him. “Thank you for telling me~!”
Once he closes the door behind him, my smile becomes one of thought. A potential warrior hmmm? I’ll be honest, it’s been quite a while since I’ve had a very good fight. I’m definitely quite in good shape~ The only worries would probably be me being rusty, but even then I find that unlikely.
I’m a simple Salazzle with only a few needs, one of the big ones is having fun. Flirting with others is definitely a big one there, but a good fight can definitely get a lady’s fire burning.
If this warrior turns out to be enough for Kelviks to let them challenge us, then I must get ready. A lady must be prepared, hmmm~?

The Groundskeeper
[PoV: Kelviks]
[Location: ???]
Click clack goes my steps, the sound bouncing off the walls as the echoes they are. This place is empty...but such a thing is expected when it is hidden in the middle of nowhere, yesss?
It has been many days since Kelviks had sent Meikakuna to find and learn of the one known as Tapferkeit. It would be foolish to assume that she would return so quickly, so Kelviks must be patient...
Heh, Kelviks is very good when it comes to patience. When you live as long as Kelviks, patience is something you are forced to embrace.
I take a turn down one of the many halls, the dim light from the torches lining the wall causing my shadow to dance. Kelviks knows the place like the back of my claws, every hall...every chamber...it is imprinted into Kelvik’s mind like a scripture on a stone tablet. Permanent? Perhaps not, however it can last a long time if kept well.
I suddenly hear a song bouncing down the halls of stone, my eyes widen in delight as I recognize it to be Evelynn’s lullaby. She is a wonderful singer, her beautiful voice matching her beautiful form.
Hmmm? Oh no no no, Kelviks does not see her in that sort of light. She is a good friend of Kelviks yes, but that does not mean I can’t acknowledge what is obvious.
As her song flows through my ears I enter a chamber, the walls lined with carvings made my Kelviks long ago. Each image depicts a story of what Kelviks has to tell, of prophecies. My gaze locks onto a specific carving, on the stone it depicts a large hole in the sky with a horrendous fiend leaping out.
Time... Time is running out, Kelviks needs to find someone soon...
This structure serves a purpose, to find one who can fulfill the prophecy. Kelviks watches over this place, keeping it from falling apart. Many others live here with Kelviks, they are guardians... Champions...
Meikakuna is one such Champion, Evelynn is another. There are two others who fill such roles within this place, and what of Kelviks?
Kelviks is the Groundskeeper, a simple yet important role. Now what use would this place be if it were to fall to disrepair, yess? I oversee its workings as well as lead, so Kelviks is in charge if simply put.
Still...we must find the one who can fulfill the prophecy, or else dark times will come...
I let out a hissing sigh as I turn and leave the room, my heavy thoughts focused on the prophecy. As I walk down the hall the sounds of Evelynn’s song flow through the hall like an enchanting spell, the beautiful music slowly lifting my spirits.
No no no, it would not do to be negative. One must have hope, Kelviks will find the one that he seeks... This Tapferkeit...he could be the key, perhaps...he cand fulfill the prophecy.
Yes... One must have hope, all is not lost yet. Despair is unbecoming of Kelviks, dwell on it no further.
