In which you know River

Imagine being a companion to the doctor that can see the future. But not everything, just small glimpses.

Imagine you end up travelling with him and donna to the library and you meet river song and you see the woman youve seen in so many of the future visions youve seen and your mind just suddenly relaxes. Like youve been searching for her everyday, looking in grocery lines and while running for your life. And there she is.

And the doctor is being rude to her and you cant stop staring because shes right there and you dont know what to do anymore because it feels like youve been searching for her your entire life. And then she says something, and calls the doctor "sweetie" and "pretty boy" and something in your mind and heart quivers and you dont understand why. Why is she so important? Who is she?

And you see her talk to the doctor and her smile wanes and her whole face just, becomes a mask. In the blink of an eye. And the doctor says "who are you?" And you want to scream at him because you know her. Youd trust her with your life. And her walls build back up and you struggle not to just go over there and shake the doctor because of course he knows her! Youve been telling him about the archeologist with the space hair since youve gotten onto his ship the first time! And its HER. And shes RIGHT THERE.

And the doctor leaves for some emergancy and you walk up to her and you see her breathing shakily and you place a hand on hers, over her tardis-blue book. And you tell her "I know you". And river whips her head upwards with hope and shining eyes and she looks at you and her eyes are confused for a second, like she isnt sure how-

And then it clicks. All those times you told her you knew her before she knew you. All those secret smiles you gave her in her past and your future. Those knowing eyes, seemingly knowing her every secret without being in the right time to be able to. And she remembers that one time she accidently evedropped on the end of a conversation between you and the doctor, where you told him "of-course we can trust river! I know her, doctor. You know that!" And the doctor goes on about how seeing someone in the future is not really knowing them and you stopped him and go "I know her. I promise. If you trust me, youd trust her."

And river looks at you. And she smiles brightly because on the day her hearts broke, they started again. With a smile and a hand on hers, you gave her hope for the future.

Eventually MK will cave and just ask Wukong directly

MK: So... You're a Stone Monkey, right Monkey King?

Wukong: Uh... yeah? Pretty famous for being born from a rock egg, kid.

It's a heavily risky and dangerous ritual because you are effectively using your own life enercy to produce an heir. The conditions to trigger that biological quirk of ours just so happens to have lined up perfectly with a certain mountain.

MK: *a little confused* Does that mean the baby daddy is technically Buddha?

Wukong: As hilarious as the Buddha's face would be if I tried to claim that... no. It does not mean the Buddha is the baby daddy. The baby is mine and mine alone.

I feel like Wukong 100% tried blaming the Buddha once he got to Thunderclap Monastery. The arhats and Pilgrims were all very nervous, but thankfully the Buddha pointed out that his hand was merely the soil that acted as a medium for Wukong's body to produce the egg. You don't blame the bed for making you pregnant XD

I love Wukong's hesitation cus he knows this convo might lead him to reveal that MK is the very same creature as he is. Cus if MK has finally come across this info - has he started asking questions on where he came from?

But phew - MK *only* wants to knwo about Wukong's Egg.

My first independent owl house post and its about Eda and Lillith.

In the scene provided by lillth we see a bunch of interesting stuff. Namely the may the pain be shared spell. It doesn't have a spell circle or glyph to cast and no one besides Lillth has ever cast it. Which is a little suspicious but that's not what I want to talk about. The part of that flashback I'm most interested in is when they're teenagers.

In this scene we first see Eda preform the formation with ease then we see Lillth try and fail falling down in the process. When Eda offers to help Lillth up she at first reaches back but stops herself after looking at the door. It's in the shot in the backround and presumably that's where the rest of the house is.

Now thanks to the season two trailer we can see Eda evedropping on a violent conversation, her mom likely being one of the participants. What if the other one is Lillth and Gwendolyn is shaming her daughter telling her that she relies on Eda too much. So when Eda reaches out to Lillth her first reaction is to accept, her second to draw back and get back up on her own.

If their mom is as horrible as this post indicates they should do all they can to keep up a-fear-ances. Or something terrible might happen.

Hey, thank you for your request! It was interesting to think about how each member would react but I had a lot of fun writing this! I hope you enjoy! 😁 This is also a lot longer than I intended it to be but I got a bit carried away 😂

Namjoon:

Namjoon had observed the way Soobin acted around you for a while, seeing the leader of TXT’s infatuation with you. He first became aware of it when they were at a company gathering, Soobin laughing and chatting to you the whole time. Although Namjoon was confident in your relationship, he felt some type of jealousy whenever Soobin was around. It was like he felt the need to be with you at every moment to be reassured that you weren’t flirting with Soobin without realising.

You were currently in the kitchen of your apartment preparing some ingredients to cook dinner when Namjoon walks into the room and traps you in a back hug, his chin resting on your head as you continue chopping the vegetables.

“I was told today by Taehyun that Soobin has a crush on me, isn’t that adorable.” You inform Joon, a giggle on the end of your sentence. Namjoon instantly tenses a little at his suspicions being confirmed.

“Don’t worry Joon, I have no interest in anyone other than you. Soobin just has a schoolboy crush, I’m sure it will be gone soon.” You continue as you feel your boyfriends grip get slightly tighter around your waist.

“I know.” He smirks before placing a kiss on your cheek. “Thinking about it, I find it kind of sweet really.” He chuckles before burying his face into the crook of your neck. You relax when you feel the smile on his lips as he presses feather light kisses to your skin.

Seokjin:

You are currently at the studio with all members of BTS, the boys having a break for a while after working so hard on their next comeback. You were all sat in a circle talking together, Jin’s arm lazily wrapped around your waist as you cuddle up to his side. The conversation had turned into talking about when they met TXT, all of them praising how talented they are and that they will be really successful in the future. Jungkook, loving to annoy the older members whenever he gets the chance, suddenly states that he overheard Taehyun tell Beomgyu about his crush on you. Everyone instantly looks at you and Jin to see your reactions, Jungkook sitting with a cheeky smirk looking very pleased with himself. You sit up properly and look at Jin. His eyes are wide with a serious face, you couldn’t tell how he was feeling.

The thing is, you were actually closer to Taehyun’s age than you were to Jin’s. So when you started getting closer to TXT Jin became slightly worried, thinking you might have more in common with them or that you could have more fun. Adding the fact the Taehyun has developed a crush on you was another reason for Jin to worry even more. What if he flirted with you? Or asked you out? Seeing the worry in Jin’s expressionas he stares at the floor deep in thought you decide to speak first.

“Um, I’m flattered that Taehyun has a crush on me, that’s very sweet. But I already have a boyfriend who I am extremely happy with.” You state as you try to get Jin’s focus onto you. He finally makes eye contact with you after you have spoken and smiles warmly.

“I’m so glad you feel that way. It would break my heart to see you with anyone else.” Jin softly speaks. He presses a kiss to your lips, full of so much love and passion that you can feel your head spin. You chuckle into it as you hear the guys complaining and telling you to get a room.

Yoongi:

You were laying across your sofa on your phone texting with Beomgyu. You had become pretty close with the boy since you had been helping them with some preparations with their next album, spending most days in the studio with them and hanging out. Beomgyu had sent you some random memes that he had found of himself and you were cry laughing at them.

Yoongi hadn’t properly seen you for days as you were both so busy with work. He sits down on the sofa next to your feet and looks over at you. You don’t pay him any attention as you are so engrossed in your phone. You giggle as you reply to Beomgyu before going back to scrolling through your phone waiting for his next message.

“(Y/N)? Are you too busy to acknowledge your boyfriend?” Yoongi speaks, getting your attention.

“Oh sorry, I was messaging Beomgyu.” You smile at him apologetically before putting your phone down on the coffee table. You turn back to Yoongi and start asking him about his day.

You had just left to use the bathroom when your phone buzzes to alert you of a text and Yoongi picks it up intrigued by what it could be. It was normal for you to answer each other’s phones in case it was someone calling or texting with an emergency.

From Beomgyu: I need to tell you something that I’ve been too nervous to say. So I’m just gonna do it over text. I’ve had the biggest crush on you for a while and I know you have a boyfriend and I wouldn’t want to get in the way of that but I just felt like I needed to put it out there.

Yoongi’s eye go wide with surprise before anger starts to overtake him. Just as he is about to put your phone back down you walk into the room and see his cross expression.

“What’s wrong yoongs?” You question innocently, not being aware of the situation.

“Why don’t you read Beomgyu’s message and find out.” Yoongi snarls before passing you the phone. You gasp at the message and instantly turn to face your boyfriend who is sat with his arms folded on the sofa, anger clearly more evdient on his face than before.

“I have no idea where this has come from but you don’t have to worry at all. I’m not interested in Beomgyu as anything more than a friend.” You state as you sit next to Yoongi and soothingly fun your arm up and down his bicep.

“I love you.” You whisper to him, sadness showing as your voice starts to crack. Yoongi’s eyes immediately look into yours and his body language softens. He knows in that instant that you are being truthful and his heart breaks a little at your reaction.

“I love you too.” He whispers back as he pulls you close and cuddles you tightly.

Hoseok:

Hobi is your sunshine boyfriend. He loves to be around people and make everyone laugh and smile. So when he sees you sitting on your own looking down he rushes over to you and wants to try and make you happy again.

“What’s wrong?” He questions as he sits on the floor beside you. You look up at him and force a small smile onto your face.

“Hueningkai just asked to have a chat and then told me that he has feelings for me.” You mumble, reluctant to share the confession with your boyfriend.

“Aw that’s really cute.” Hoseok beams at you and laughs at your surprised reaction.

“What do you mean it’s cute?” You question confused.

“Well he’s only 16, this could be his first real crush. You know, like when you got a crush on me. I was the older, more mature man that the young (Y/N) fell for.” He laughs and a genuine smile finally breaks out onto your face.

“Haha I guess you’re right. Not about you being mature, but about me being Kai’s first real crush.” You laugh.

“Hey, that’s not a nice thing to say about your loving and caring boyfriend.” Hoseok playfully protests before getting revenge by smothering you with kisses.

Jimin:

Jimin had always been envious of TXT’s height. Now Jimin isn’t short but he is the shortest member out of both groups and so when he heard that you find tall guys very attractive it made him feel a little sad.

While you were visiting him at the dorms you had received a phone call from one of your friends and left Jimin to take it in another room. Your friend also knows the boys of TXT and had heard a rumour that Soobin fancied you, which you instantly brushed off knowing that even if it was true you were very committed to Jimin. What you didn’t know is that Jimin was evedropping your conversation and heard everything.

You re-entered Jimin’s room to find him waiting for you with a slight pout.

“So Soobin fancies you then? I guess he is your ideal man right?” Jimin says before you can even enter the room properly.

“So what if he fancies me, I’m all yours.” You reply without a seconds thought, sitting next to him as you intertwine your hands together.

“You’re my ideal man, no one else.” You conclude.

Taehyung:

You were sitting in the park with the members of TXT having a picnic. It was a hot summers day and you were busy laying on the picnic blanket sunbathing while everyone was playing games. Yeonjun sits down beside you to catch his breath after trying to chase down Kai who had poured water all over him. You open your eyes and peer up to see Yeonjun staring down at you.

“Hey Yeonjun, taking a break?” You ask as he smiles warmly at you.

“Yeah, just taking in the stunning view.” He replies and winks at you before standing up and going back to join in the games. It wasn’t unusual for Yeonjun to flirt with you and it is fairly obvious he fancies you which you found sweet. What worried you however, is what your boyfriend Taehyung would say if he knew. Just as you were thinking this you hear a familiar voice call your name and you turn your head to see Taehyung walking over to you. A huge smile appears on your face as you stand up and rush over to him. You press a deep kiss to his lips as soon as you reach him and feel him chuckle at your excitement at him joining you.

Taehyung had instantly joined in playing football with the boys while you sat and watched, cheering them all on from the sidelines. Yeonjun approached you again and smiled at you.

“You look so beautiful today (Y/N)” Yeonjun compliments you. You blush at this and thank him. What you didn’t know is that Taehyung had heard your interaction and approached the both of you.

“Hey baby, I’m gonna sit with you for a bit. I’ve missed you today.” Taehyung smiles cheerfully before he sits at your side and wraps a protective arm around your waist. He pulls you in for a passionate kiss before looking at Yeonjun.

“Hey Yeonjun, you can take my place in the game.” The look Taehyung gives the younger male makes him stand up and hurry over to the game, a smug look resting on your boyfriends face as he pulls you into another kiss.

Jungkook:

You were attending an awards show with Jungkook and the rest of BTS and TXT. It was the first awards show you have ever been to so to say you vere nervous was an understatement. You had spent hours getting ready wanting to look perfect for the event, which, as a result left Jungkook speechless as you walked into the room. The whole night he made sure that he had either his arm around your waist or he was holding your hand, not wanting to let you out of his sight in case anyone tried to flirt with you.

You were just walking out of the toilets when you bumped into Hueningkai. You knew Kai had a crush on you, it was pretty obvious as he blushed every time you spoke to him and he always seemed nervous around you.

“Sorry (Y/N), I wasn’t looking where I was going. I must say, you look absolutely incredible tonight.” He blushes with slight embarrassment as his compliment.

“Aw thank you Kai, you’re very sweet. You look very handsome too. I’ll see you back at the table.” You smile at him warmly before walking back to the BigHit table. You sit in your seat next to your boyfriend.

“You ok kookie?” You question him as you notice his stern look.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve been noticing how all the guys have been looking at you tonight. I swear their eyes might pop out of their heads.” He states looking slightly tense. “I mean, it’s so obvious Kai has a thing for you.” He continues as you giggle at his jealousy.

“Why does it bother you so much? I’m all yours.” You say as you lean into him, his arm instinctively wraps around your waist to pull you even closer.

“You’re very cute when you’re jealous.” You remark before pecking his cheek making him smile again.

is it canon that since Deku's desk is behind Bakugou's, that Uraraka often goes talk to Deku and Bakugou often hears their conversation? i mean, when she was speaking about going to the internship with gunhead because of her fight with Bakugou, he was right there on the frame, he could hear the impact he had on her decision

It is not canon that he often evedropes on their convos - whether willingly or by accident - but logically speaking, I’m sure he catches bits and pieces here. It’s only been shown once, in the situation you’re referring to. I just don’t know if he was really listening to what they were saying, or if he was processing it as mindless chatter, as he was shown to be annoyed by the conversation and trying to tune it out. He reacted to the conversation in the same way he reacts to Deku geeking out about heroes and over analyzing things. So I truly don’t know if he processed anything that was being said in the conversation or if was all registered as annoying chatter, interfering with his desire to come up with a hero name.
