MARREN'S EVE MINI EVENT 001 . . . RED RUM FRIGHT NIGHT !

hellooooo everyone ! in celebration of our server finally opening for ic - interactions, i was thinking it'd be fun to do a little mini - event as a warm up for writing together. and, well, since we did drop in the tags right on halloween . . . what better event to do than a costume party ? the details of our mini - event can be found under the cut.

this mini event will take place ic - wise on NOVEMBER 9TH, starting at 8 pm & ending at 3 am at the coveted RED RUM NIGHT CLUB. each saturday, red rum hosts a "costume party" where the best dressed gets a small prize.

now, ooc wise, this event will run from the point of publishing, up until MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH. it's a very quick event that's just for fun, & can be used to start sns threads or para threads. there will also be an event thread made in our event threads channel that members can write in, in the same breath as those old, chatzy style rps that people used to do. if you wanna make an edit for your muse's costume or something too, you can & can just post it in the edits channel in the server.

as for costumes, bc ik this is likely to come up . . . so long as a fandom is not being written in the rp, i will allow you guys to assume that it can be media that characters can dress up as ( or, could be referenced in the rp in general vs. just having a ripoff title of the media but still like . . . is the media. ) if the fandom is here then the media just won't exist in marren's eve ; mainly bc my brain is getting a headache at trying to explain rip - off fandoms that are basically the same as stories these characters partake in.
