Had a blast at practice tonight. I used my #pearlticotorressignautre #aluminumfreefloater snare...it’s extremely dry with the #evansuv1 over #evansclear500 so I’m going to swap out some heads between now and Sunday morning to see it I can get the tone I want. I’m always telling people that the drums are the most expensive instrument to play, because there are so many different head/wire options. My snares all have different head/wire combos. It’s taken me years to be able to afford to buy extra heads so I can try out different combos to get the right sound. Then there’s the different #puresoundsnarewires I use for each snare. The list goes on and on. Multiple cymbals, different sticks, and even different cases and bags. I’d never give it up though.
