Sometimes you buy something online and get it wrong. This was the case with this very large 51 cm charger that I thought was 18th century Chinese given the Chinese figures. But here is the mistake. The figures look Japanese. But actually in all honesty I didn’t spot this I just assumed the women were Chinese. But had I asked to see a photo of the reverse I would have known the charger wasn’t Chinese.
