Not abt French commitments it’s about her wanting to play in Europe during the off-season as she makes more money there now she’s passed her rookie scale contract - sometimes Europeague season runs over into training camp (like Dorka this season) but if prioritization means you have to report to first day of training camp in order to make roster and play that season if ur no longer on your rookie contract! It really alienates a lot of internationals now from playing in the W esp since they make more money abroad

ohhh thank you for the explanation! that is really unfair, especially because the contracts in the W aren't good enough and so many players have to play overseas to make a good living. keeping good players like that out of the league for what.
