Tech1 Racing was having a winless season at EFR '14. For the season's finale, they decide to bring George in as guest driver

George came in and brought home a pole position, win, and fastest lap for Tech1 Racing. He also broke Nyck De Vries and Koiranen's win streak at that time

Gwen Lagrue, who was still in Lotus, was the one who set George up for that one race with Tech1 Racing. He recommended George to the owner of Tech1 Racing, Simon Abadie.

George ended up ending Tech1 Racing's winless streak and defeated the current champion, Nyck De Vries.
