euphoria season finale/kind of entire season?? analysis post

so. the whole stage scene where cassie went up and did . Whatever she did. was well You know. i don't think lexi deserves anything cassie puts her through, i think lexi has a rly big heart and she's spent so much time taking care of everyone else and not herself (even her mom said this in the finale), and i think cassie is so adamant about making sure people think nothing is her fault and she's completely innocent in every situation that she'll deflect the things she's done onto other people and make herself the victim, and that's become especially apparent in this season. i think that maddy has a huge heart, and that she's done more than enough for cassie and cassie has done nothing back for her in return (? not that i can remember, i'm sure cassie has been a good friend to maddy before but maddy is an AMAZING friend to people that she loves and cares about and i don't think cassie has ever Genuinely returned that love and care), and maddy even had the heart to warn cassie ab nate and how it's "just the beginning with him" when she could've just beat her ass and said fuck you. tldr no one owes cassie anything and she did it to herself

NEXT! ^ why is the spacing right here so large.. every time i hit enter on my keyboard it makes like a huge gap...... srry if it looks like that on the actual post Anyway i don't have much to say ab nate or his dad or whatever like to be honest i don't rly care ab nate as a character and maybe thats on me but like. he's irredeemable to me even if his dad fucked him up mentally like i'm glad his dad is FINALLY facing repercussions for that shit but yeah.

finally (?) rue elliot jules. i Think. rue showed a lot of maturity and growth this ep by Thanking elliot for saying smth ab the drugs, and whenever jules came up to her at the end of the play i wish rue would have actually Said something instead of just kissing jules on the head and leaving but. i think they have a lot of growth to do separately and i think that rue needs to get clean, like actually Clean, before she can love someone like that. she needs to learn to take care of herself etc. that being said i think rue and jules should still be friends!! i just think they shouldn't be in a Relationship while rue is healing/getting clean (she did say at the end of the ep when she was narrating that she stayed clean for the rest of the school year! happy for her AND she and lexi i think are besties again so maybe she'll have a nice support system ^_^) but yeah. i think i've said my peace on rue and jules enough on here. btw dominic fike i love you the song you sang was beautiful is it on spotify bcs i want to listen to it forever

also fez and ash......... FUCK! ash deserved SO MUCH BETTER he was a fucking KID!! SERIOUSLY he didn't know anything else but a drug dealer lifestyle and it fucked him over AND NOW HE'LL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE TO HEAL.. HE WAS A FUCKING KID ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ i also hope fez is okay we never saw what happened to him but i'm Assuming that he's fine since we didn't see him die

i don't have any predictions/ways i want the next season to go, there are a lot of loose ends rn so i'm just hoping it's able to pick back up where it left off

list of things rue did in this episode and why it's fucked up (tw for talk ab drugs under the cut)

- hit her mom and her sister bcs her mom flushed all of her (stolen) drugs down the toilet

- lashed out on everyone around her who was trying to help her including jules and elliot

- jumped out of the car on her way to rehab and ran to lexi's house

- rue's mom found her at lexi's house and rue proceeded to tell everyone (EVERYONE . like everyone) that cassie and nate were Well you know so that way she could distract and run away from the intervention/rehab opportunity

- ran to fez's house after breaking into someone else's house and running from the police AND RUNNING INTO MOVING TRAFFIC AND CAUSING A CAR ACCIDENT.

- fought fez and tried to steal drugs from him

- went to the drug dealer's house that she stole drugs from and then did More drugs and slept at her house

ok so Anyway i have a lot of sympathy for rue actually i think it's easy to hate her bcs she's been so awful to everyone around her etc but it's easy to forget that addiction is a disease thats been with her for YEARS and she thinks she wants help but every time someone offers help she lashes out. i think she rly just needs reality to hit her genuinely and i think she misses her dad etc etc and feels like everyone is out to get her but everyone just wants to help. genuinely

sidenote i'm GLAD rue told maddy ab nate and cassie FUCK THAT GUY AND FUCK CASSIE FOR DOING THAT!! hopefully cassie learns a lesson ab being single and her own person etc bcs i do want her to be redeemed
