Чагарниковий бик (лат. Euceratherium collinum) – вимерлий рід і вид ссавців родини парнокопитних (Bovidae), що мешкав в Північній Америці разом із бутерієм (Bootherium bombifrons) та волом Зергеля (Soergelia mayfieldi) до свого зникнення близько 8000 років тому.

I often see musk ox relatives like Bootherium and Euceratherium reconstructed with a shaggy coat like musk oxen, despite living in warmer climates. Is there any scientific support for this?

No. In fact there’s a mummified specimen of Bootherium from Alaska that preserves shorter and less heavy hair than living musk oxen.
