Posted @withrepost • @oryxphotography Gelada Baboons are the only primates that are primarily grazers, and surprisingly very unphased by human onlookers. This allows us to enjoy close proximity as we sit among their large colonies, sometimes containing hundreds of individuals! We will photograph these fascinating creatures and their highly complex social structure in the Highlands of Ethiopia, the only place on the planet where they can be found. It is worth mentioning the co-star of this highly unique African photo safari, which is none other than the Ethiopian Wolf, who has earned the unfortunate title of the "world's rarest canid". These two species, with a supporting cast of other Ethiopian treasures (such as the huge Mountain Nyala, head-butting Walia Ibex, the Bearded Vulture, Tawny Eagle, and Thick-billed Raven) make for a photo safari unlike any other African destination. This is the perfect destination for those who have experienced the wonders of Africa's iconic megafauna, but are now looking to experience the lesser-known "hidden treasures" of the continent. ======================= DM us now to find out more about the last space on our 2020 departure! ======================= Image by © Dale Morris #ORYXliveyourdreams #phototour #seetheworld #ethiopia #gelada #ethiopiaphotography #ethiopiantravel #ethiopiawithORYX #africa #naturephotos #wildlifephoto #naturephotography #wildlifephotography #nature #safariphotography #wildlifephotos #safariphoto #naturephoto #naturephotography #safariphotos https://www.instagram.com/p/B55N0hkCPEL/?igshid=m68uc7od9859
