Lea’s scream fills the air even as Esther breaks from cover, jumping from the top of the climbing frame to the man’s back, sinking the knives she had grabbed from the kitchen into him, taking him down and glancing over at Lea. “Run… Run Lea right now.” It's only once the man is decapitated that Esther rises, flicking blood-soaked hair back and moving to gather Lea from the doorway, leading her home to clean up. It’s not always easy to be a living weapon, but for the moment she doesn’t care, not when it let her save the woman she loves.

Clowning Around Together - Clown Cafe Host (Lea)/Kate Coleman

A/N: Part 2/5 for @julybreakbingo 's Pre-July Bingo.

At first Lea isn’t sure if she should have brought Kate back with her, the woman smiles as she risks another glance back at Esther playing around on the playground that Lea had built in the Clown Cafe.     “She’s fine, she’s happy climbing around...”    Lea’s eyes meet hers and Kate moves closer, backing Lea up against the wall, her lips finding Lea’s ear, her voice soft.    “I want this.”    Lea’s breathing hitches and her hand trembles just a little when Kate guides her touch, her eyes flickering closed when Kate’s own hand slips into her own clothing, her body arching to Kate’s touch even as she settles into her own pace, swallowing Kate’s moan with a soft smile.     “So tense...”    “Been... way too long.”    Kate admits softly and Lea smiles, stealing another kiss before pressing deeper into Kate, curling her fingers as she watches Kate shudder, her voice soft.     “Shame, you respond so beautifully...”    The two will, she knows, in time, find her own release, but for now all she wants is Kate. Once they are both finished they emerge slowly, Esther greeting them both with a grin.     “Finally.... can we all go home now?”    Lea’s blush is quick and Kate laughs, leaning to kiss Lea’s cheek.    “Sure... if Lea wants to.”    Later, once Lea comes home with them both, Kate smiles and welcomes Esther into their bed, both women relaxing as Esther finds peace between them. Kate’s touch soft on Lea’s cheek, content to watch Lea fall asleep. They are, finally, a family.
