So decided to make a dnd character who is a pirate and i was think of a name and ended up the old Spanish word for star and the old greek word for scarab and got estabos only to find out its an actual word that translated means you were which is a hilarious coincidence for a bloodthirsty pirate all of it was Google translate so not 100% sure but still funny gave him 2 cool "swords" too ones shaped like a Cresent moon and made of silver for the glow and a sword shaped like the sun specifically like those Spanish drawings with the cool sun beams named lua and sòl respectively Icelandic not Spanish

No sé si anon sabe but words in different languages can be translated. “Latine” is the Spanish gender neutral word used for Latin Americans, whereas “Latinx” is its English translation.. the whole point of a translation is to make it easier to pronounce in the language that’s being spoken

To give anon a silly example, “football” is an English (British?) sport that when spoken of in Spanish is written “fútbol”
