The music video of "1995", the other comeback single from the ƎHEADS, has been released yesterday. Still directed by Erik Matti, the psychedelic video this time focused on Ely, Raimund, Marcus and Buddy doing their own thing, playing their instruments. It ended with the band playing in front of the UP Oblation. A way giving homage to the Eraserheads' Alma Mater. Lyrics: Saan, saan na napunta Kislap ng iyong mata Maibabalik pa ba? Day 135: An Eraserheads’ Fan Dream Come True

I don’t quite remember when I started liking “The Band” all I know was, back when I was still young I’m already hearing their music. My Kuya is actually quite, just quite a fan of theirs. So yeah, my Eheads history of how I became a super fan was quite a blur to me.

I’m quite sure of something though, I am gradually being drawn to their life or more likely music forces every moment I hear any of their songs. The feeling is just overwhelming to the extent thatI kinda consider it as an addiction. A good addiction.

One after the other I try so much to hear out all their songs though there are some that didn’t appeal to me at first, I kinda learn to appreciate most of them. I love it, that’s my usual expression after every song. I dunno, Eraserheads just have this spunk and witty charm making you more immersed to the music they have, the more you listen to them. It was a spectacular feeling, I must say.

And yeah, apparently, I really love ‘tis band especially their frontman, Ely Buendia. The obssession just gets worse and worst until I just finally give in. It’s very inexplicably alright.

Just then, I realized my love for them was too late a scope. The band finally decided to go on their separate ways, this made me think all of the whatifs I got before they pull the curtains down. Frustratingly, saddening I must say.
