Got Kyper and Bourne on in the background while finishing work, and I’m really baffled that they just suggested the leafs should go after Brock and that Lou should ask for Cowan or Minten in return, they were also adamant that it’s ‘or’ not ‘and’ 🙃. When people say shit like this it just proves to me that they don’t know anything about how the isles are functioning right now or what Lou wants. Two out of three of the hosts also did not know Brock’s goal totals from the past few years…

They did mention that Lou needs to resign. Which is not necessarily wrong. HOWEVER I hate when people don’t understand that Lou is doing what he’s doing for the here and now, he doesn’t really give a fuck about getting draft picks or prospects that need developing. Because frankly, he’s 82 years old, he’s not gonna be around a whole lot longer whether he retires, is fired, or dies. He wants to win one more cup, so while it’s frustrating as a fan of the team and its future, I honestly can’t blame him for being the way he is. He’s doing what he honestly thinks will work even if it isn’t correct.
