Happy STS Laura! If one of your stories was adapted into a different format, what would be your preference (eg. movie, TV series, graphic novel) and why?

Thank you, Nico!! This is an easy one 😅 Metanoia was supposed to be a TV series from the get-go and it only changed to a novel format when I decided to focus more on Mal's inner thoughts, but I'm still very much writing it with the idea of then converting it into a series. I think every medium comes with its own pros and cons when it comes to telling a story, and for Metanoia especially, what I gain in Mal's internal perspective I lose when it comes to other characters' POVs and events I don't think fit very well in the novel as it stands currently, but which would be absolute bangers in a TV episode. Similarly, there are so many things in this story that would come across really nicely visually (especially tiny subtleties in body language which, if written in, would be too in your face as opposed to a blink-and-you-miss-it choice by an actor) or with the aid of a nicely-picked background song. I'm writing this all with a cast in mind already and honestly keep going back and forth between doing it as prose and doing it as script so yeah 😅
