So Zenkichi's awakening scene... Pretty damn neat if you ask me

#persona 5 strikers#zenkichi hasegawa#p5s spoilers#T&S draws!#papa wolf#okay so there's gotta be some sort of symbolism as to why his shadow manifested like that#Zenkichi's arc is partly about him standing up against a corrupt system so maybe his shadow manifesting as a literal shadow is like#a representation of other forces watching and judging him#especially since owada knew of the investigation enough to send a threat to him#Maybe it's also like him thinking his sense of justice and rebellion are sourced from outside of him#like all the other thieves' spirit of rebellion comes from their own rotten situation and standing up against it#but zenkichi's bad situation mostly revolves around akane#hell his whole reason he awakened was because of his daughter#i also like to think that Shadow Zenkichi's The Reason You Suck speech may have indicated we were dangerously close to a Persona 4-style sc#AU where Zenkichi's shadow manifests and acts as another threat to the thieves?#that doesn't make sense given how things worked in P4 compared to P5 but could you imagine#bottom line: this scene was one of the most badass awakenings and you can't change my mind
