I'm sorry mutuals objectively i like Phigros more than Enstars do you still like me
(sort of explanation in tags? (aka me just talking about rhythm games))
#shashi rambling#*cracks knuckles*#so. believe it or not first and foremost *sees url* i am a rhythm gamer#and i initially started playing enstars cus of the rhythm game aspect#but the rhythm game part is kinda. um. for the lack of better words: tame compared to most rhythm games?#like. after a while it's just grinding. it's not that fun anymore#whereas in Phigros every map is unique and the rhythm gamer in me is always in joy when playing#okay i will admit most special maps in Enstars are cool#some days i open the app just to play some Special maps and that's it#so yeah. rhythm game wise Phigros >>> Enstars for me#yeah i know Enstars has lots and lots of lore#especially compared to Phigros#and yes i know how story centric Enstars is#but gameplay wise: Enstars is boring compared to most rhythm games#sorry

Upscores from today cause I felt like it lol
Phigros! I just wanted to play around some 16s (especially retry Cuvism3 so I wasn’t expecting some upscores… still can’t S rank Indelible Scar tho :V
You ever find it ironic that I had more trouble on a 10 compare to a 10+? Actually both 10s in Lasting Eden wrecked my ass pretty badly lol, but still I think UL is a bit easier than RotW…
Also, first WV upscore in MONTHS. The end bit still kicks my ass, tho, probably should practice on stamina cause that end part still sucks…
… oh also Absolute Nihil tmr! Not buying but I’ll read the story (and also catch up on Saya and Lethe’s lore before actually going into it…)

Note
doing my best on d4dj and i can think "oh these notes are so confusing"
"obviously that means i need to master this game. I will feel so cool when I understand any of it"
I'll be completely honest, d4dj seems very confusing at first. especially the damned pink slider i have a love-hate relationship with it.
BUT. rhythm game wise d4dj has to be one of the most fun ones I've played (once you get the hang of it ofc). I've played many rhythm games, and usually gacha rhythm games tend to have less complex mechanisms that other rhythm games (like, compare Bandori or Enstars to say. Arcaea or Lanota or Phigros. only exception i can think of is DEEMO). not saying they are easier ofc. Any Project Sekai level 33+ can easily beat a common level 15 (second hardest level) in Phigros. but i find complex mechanisms more fun to play with.
so complex mechanics wise d4dj satisfies the rhythm gamer in me (haha get it my url) while also providing me what every other gacha game provides. plus all the characters are lovable it's one of the few games i don't dislike ANY characters. so yeah
sorry for the impromptu infodump btw I'm very normal about rhythm games as you can see
