Ngl when I see ppl shipping Jamie and Dr. O'Sullivan I think they're at least a little homophobic and very straight.

well, i disagree with a blanket accusation of homophobia, but I do think it's an opinion that holds a very ~straight appeal~, definitely, lol.

there are honestly a boat load of reasons i hate it but they boil down to:

i kind of get why people (esp. a segment of the general audience) might be attracted to it because it's soooo something (bad) shows/sitcoms would do. Like, my god is it TRITE. Predictable, formulaic...boring as all hell! Of course he's going to get with the nameless sister who has less than five minutes total of screen time, just for a little added spice and drama, sure. That's what happens in (bad) shows. But luckily for the rest of us, Ted Lasso even at its worst is not that brand of bad, lol.

it's completely baseless? Nothing wrong with a baseless ship i guess, but at the same time...literally why this one? lol. Like, Jamie and Roy's sister share one scene together in which I don't believe they even say anything to one another directly? There is no chemistry, no...anything? The entire premise for the ship seems to be Jamie telling Roy his sister is hot. Which was very clearly intended as a way for Jamie to get under Roy's skin. Nothing about the scene makes me want to see those two dating.

the big proponents of it i've seen (often, definitely not always) seem to fit into one of two categories 1) people who don't really like Jamie and/or are upset Jamie "got in the way" of their ship, and thus want him to be written into a corner that pulls him away from their preferred couple/inherently shuffles up their dynamic. they don't actually care to watch a plot between Jamie & Roy's sister, they just want Jamie firmly categorized as Taken and thus Not Interested in Roy and/or Keeley, and this is a convenient and predictable(y stupid) way to do it. lol.

OR 2) people who DO really like Jamie and in fact really like Roy & Jamie, but in a very "no homo" way, who want to see more of their dynamic and have a way to define/further explore their closeness, whilst also justifying their own enjoyment of it, that's well set apart from "they have homoerotic tension." Jamie & Roy's sister dating holds an appeal because it more explicitly puts their relationship into firm "brotherly" territory. And I unabashedly loathe that for the same reason i loathe "Roy is Jamie's father figure!" ...foremost because no really, they can just be best friends!! Even if you do not want to ship roy-jamie romantically, you do not need to slap different familial labels on them (or put them into random other pairings) to make their relationship "more." Their relationship is already "more"...they are canonically best friends!! idk if I'm explaining this in the best way but the mindset behind it often feels very rooted in ~the nuclear family is the most important relationship a person can achieve~ and thus a need to fit everyone into traditional family roles (and in some cases that PLUS blatant homophobia) and it gives me a personal ick. Ew.

If you want to see quirky jamie & phoebe antics or roy and jamie bickering, Jamie x Roy's sister getting it on is in fact not actually necessary for any of that? (and imo doesn't add anything to anyone's arc) Going back to point one...using that pairing to get there feels TO ME very boring and sitcom cartoony.

(i also obviously dislike it for my personal shippy reasons and must acknowledge my bias. 🫡 Jamie dating his best friend's sister when he clearly has a crush on said best friend is a relationship-based mental low point/cry for help i do not actually want him to go through as my fav character, LOL.)

(disclaimer: people can of course feel differently and are entitled to ship whoever they want without even needing a clear reason or explanation! that's totally valid! i want to reiterate I don't think it's inherently problematic as a ship. I just personally think it's a rotten tomato of a plot point and i'm so beyond glad the show didn't waste time entertaining it.)

i really liked this season !! i was so on the fence about it at first bc i was like hmm . did we really need a s2?? but i ended up loving it!! i’m kind of glad we had some comedic moments to break up s1 and all of the sad moments… bc it’s so depressing LOLL.

AS FOR WHO I LIKED … so many characters 😭 that was another thing i enjoyed about s2, i felt more attached to them than in s1. bc i kind of knew 456 would win in s1 so i was like well…. i can’t like anyone LMFAO. whereas in s2 i was like maybe they can all get out of here alive (doubtful but. 😔💪). i LOVEEE dae-ho, he’s such a cutie patootie sweetie pie. i’ve seen people hating on him like ???? SIT DOWN HELLO? i love him pls he did nothing :(( toxic fav is thanos LMFAOO i fear i’m in love w him. he’s so funny, i was dying every time he was on the screen. i also loved jun-hee ( the pregnant girl? i think that’s her name), i really hope she makes it out :( 333 kind of annoys me; i feel like he’s just gonna ditch her again if they get out but :/ and the grandma she’s funny !!! i’m worried her and her son are going to die together or one will sacrifice themselves for the other :,) but honestly i liked everyone at least a little bit!! who was ur fav?

one thing that made me mad was the detective storyline 😭😭😭 i’m sure they’re gonna do something more w it in s3, but it was so frustrating seeing them go NOWHERE with that plot. esp bc the first 2 eps really revolves around that.

and i liked this 001 more in this season … the old guy makes me so mad like why is he so whimsical 😭 but it was interesting to see the frontman play bc i was really like hm…. maybe he is turning nice 🥰 LMAOO. he was too good of an actor </3 i did like the games too!! mingle stressed me out SOOOO bad but it’s been my fav i think.

i honestly don’t know what’s gonna happen in s3. i was kind of thinking 456 might die but …. now im like what if he just wins again and realizes he can never stop the games 😭 i also feel like the vips are gonna be even more sick in this season … idk where they are yet but ik they’re coming 🤢

i think the dad is still alive though!! i’m kind of thinking the pink guard girl (011 ??) shot him in the shoulder or leg or something where he wouldn’t die. and then i think he’ll escape and maybe find the detective ?? i feel like there’s something there with him. if he is really dead i think that’s kind of a dumb plot to focus on for an episode and never do anything with 💀

and …. sigh. i also wish thanos would still be in s3 but i told my sister i was like wow … they really killed him off to let us know we’re getting serious 😭 no more laughs </3 my boy </3 GDHSHSHS

i am SOOOO excited for s3, even though i know it’s gonna break my heart 🥲 but who knows …. maybe it will have some sort of happy ending. we shall see

i’m gonna apologize in advance for my lack of answer around “weakness” bc i dont see the likely traits as weaknesses per se, even if they are lolol even if they have caused conflict between them and i dont know how to explain why lol… i think bc those traits are a part of them just like any other and i feel like its their strong love that causes them to lash out which is… endearing and cute… LOL.

1. Reo: strength is amazing emotional resilience. he fell so hard but bounced back relatively quickly. great emotional reflection and insight, very very impressive to me fr. i’m a therapist so i work w reflection and insight often! its tough shit! esp when youre 17! weaknesssss… probably running his mouth when emotional and pushing nagi away when he rlly just wanted to keep him close but i love.., the drama of it all… LOL… mmm… reo’s denial of nagi’s feelings is also strong but he’s trying to protect himself. he’s truly just like me fr so i cannot judge him LOL. he’s a very beautiful and strong representation of human passion and just.. emotion. i love him a lot!

2. Nagi: strength is single minded devotion and determination even while finding himself during the journey to be the best in the world. i love that he’s sentimental about promises also, he’s very cute… both nare have a great gap moe thing going… weakness plot wise is definitely lack of a concrete ego and struggle to figure it out. but again insight is hard esp when ur 17! and had nobody in ur life before. he’s my favorite chara and feels relatable in the sense of uhhh listless and depressive experiences but rlly loving someone a lot regardless and that love being motivation to live well. he ofc also lashed out at reo and struggled to communicate but i count this as a mutual conflict more so than a holistic personal weakness… he seems to be doing his best to improve as much as he can w his limited insight (like trying to praise reo more) i know ppl often like to take sides in their conflict so i will say i do not believe in choosing a side between them lol. but ive seen nagi get way too much blame so that upsets me more. i know reo blame is out there but i somehow havent seen it as much. i dont think either should be blamed for mutual misunderstanding.

3. Dynamic: oh gosh what dont i love hahah… i just talked abt this in another ask but i love their devotion to each other, the strength of their bond - even if it wavers they cant break it, they cant help but love and need each other… truly spring of youth first love etc etc. theyve gone thru sm! adorable hakuho era, divorce arc, and now reunion… their trajectory is fascinating and they truly fit sm of my favorite tropes lol. also love that theyre silly together and best friends and each others first friends..!!! wails. theyre so cute. and messy LOL but idk that’s fun and they dont seem like, uniquely messy compared to other 17 yr olds. theyre a great snapshot of young love HAHA (i say this affectionately as a former Messy Teenager in Love… i adore them)

4. Canon moments: THE WAIST GRAB + “I’M REO’S PARTNER” SHAHSKSKS that solidified my obsession w them! also “ive always been with you” and nagi running at the sight of reo’s sad face and trying for the first time… those are my top 3! but i lose my mind with every new episode nagi internal monologue looool ch 29 KILLED ME i havent recovered yet nagi is so down bad for his wife… i am seeing now that my top 3 are nagi @ reo moments… oops. what can i say i love a wifeguy!

5. HCs: hmmm this is hard bc i feel like… i dont have a lot… if i want them to do smthn it usually ends up as a fic detail, so im not sure if i have any concrete universal ones besides 1) they get more plants and pets when theyre older. i have two cats im VERY biased so either two cats, or one cat and one dog. cat for nagi dog for reo :) oh individually… i like the idea of reo with beauty marks, both of them with sunspots/freckles… nagi with bunny teeth. :’) sorry if this isnt a lot 😭😭😭 im not a big hc girly but i like spinning ideas with friends about little AUs and what they would do in those AUs so i think that is probably specific headcannoning? but feels like universally canon nare-related… unsure how to explain sorry 😭

6. Other ships: Most similar is probably Reki/Langa from SK8. I like Renga but they’re not my favorite simply bc I’m content with their canon storyline and don’t feel the need to explore them further… but theyre very cute and have the friends/talent comparison/misunderstanding/loss of priority/interest to “better competition”/sport anime flavor of gaaaay going on LOL. I also like Gabimaru/Yui from Hell’s Paradise but that is… less concretely similar lol. More like vibes of 1) fluffy white haired guy who was empty inside until He Fell for His Wife and 2) cute, sweet wife who teaches guy how to Live… precious. i love gabiyui a lot and had to disqualify them from top 7 only bc theres not muuuuch abt them that we get to see but what we see is AMAZING and PERFECT and i would die for a gabiyui domestic happiness spinoff plsplspslspsl hshzhksms and ofc their marriage is the driving motivation for gabimaru in the story…!! Newly into DanDaDan but I think you could spin nagireo as momokarun… but also less concretely… but very fun best friends x dynamic duo x sweet teenage love with a little misunderstanding vibes there :)

Meta thoughts: - I started this fic when I was living in Chicago, in a way it's a little memoir/love(?) letter to my city. maybe ill finish it in tokyo :3 - i wish more fandom portrayals of kyojuro reached beyond his Exuberant! personality to think about his exuberance-as-defense-mechanism/traditional-slash-conservative upbringing/general eccentricity—not just as a fun character quirk, but in thinking about "how did he come to be like this" and "what are the consequences of being such a weirdo in daily life" and "why do ppl like him so much" - kny isn't necessarily a fave anime, i write fic for worlds that are interesting, but I also have to see the opportunity for a story beyond what's already there. an imperfect story often creates room for reader characters to make a difference. - the reader character is probs my most perfect character (not as in mary-sue perfect, or writerly perfection, but as in "this is probs one of the most decent, mature, and moral ppl you will ever meet in fiction or life"). This "perfection" is plot important for [MASSIVE SPOILER] reasons. A theme I'm interested in, in this fic but also in general, is strength and courage and power taking different forms than fantasy but esp anime teaches us to expect. It's not fighting. It's not rushing headfirst into battle. It's not being able to kill and destroy. Strength is planning + leading to victory. Courage is being afraid and angry and broken but making the right choice regardless. Power is building people up and healing and growing despite everything.

Fun thought: - Anyone notice Sanemi developing a crush on reader huehuehue, I'm surprised by so many ppl secondary-shipping reader with Hakuji because I see them more as a boss/employee or older/younger sib relationship

Hashira training arc: Hakuji gets to yell at all the hashira (probs offscreen.) he was the only one who's been an actual teacher. also the hashira suck at teaching.

Swordsmith village arc: Tanjiro + co kill Hatengu + Kaigaku. Muichiro lives! Reader gets kidnapped by Kokushibo.

Infinite castle arc: Reader kills Kokushibo by letting Yoriichi posess her. Screws up the infinite castle with her blood. Then, Muzan captures and eats her.

This is not how the story ends, I don't write sad fics, but I do like a cliffhangers so I'll let y'all guess how reader + co finagle their way out of this ufufufufuf

Are your friends and family into F1 as well? it took me a year and a half of being into f1 to find out that not only did my mum used to watch f1 in the 80s/90s, that my grandfather used to watch f1 WITH her but my UNCLE on the OTHER side of the FAMILY has a SIGNED AUTOGRAPH from SENNA that was sent off like a week before he DIED. i thought i was ALONE in my enjoyment GENUINELY.

i also got many of my friends into f1, and have made new friends both irl and online through shared love of it, so u know. Skillz.

7/ Skee Mask - C (2024) first 2024 album in the list! dusty, crispy, chillout. analogue. deep bass when needed, never too thick of a presence. delightful chillout music. at worst, its a bit varied, as if it were an anthology. probably because it is. highlight: "Bassline Dub"

23/ Aleksi Perälä - Starlight 1 (2018) surprisingly solid, albeit a bit all over the place much love for the smooth sounds of "UK74R1823040" much love for the stepfiltered "UK74R1823090" not as much a fan of the techno flavors this time but still!

it's hard to recommend this artist in general but ive been listening to a lot of AP music. just give those two highlights a try and see what you think.

40/ Tom Bragl - Regainable (2024) a few crunchy niceities, but just a few imo. "Klamra" f.ex. feels very 2007, which IS a delight. for anyone who wishes they made more music from 2007. here it is. funny it's marketed as "80s esque" lol. i hear it tho.

43/ µ-ziq - 1977 (2023) mike has a very distinct style that stands out from a lot of his peers imo. i wasnt sure about this but the reverbed minimalist drum machine in tracks like "4am" and "Belt & Carpet" win me over. I think those two and the weirdly hazy house of "Houzz 13" are my favs. "4am" especially, with those ethereal (newage?) chopped vocals

Hi hi! Here for rambling :D Babysitter being forced to play make believe and realizing, 'ah shoot, do I regress?...' meanwhile their poor caregiver is watching in the background like 'Do I need to be concerned? I think I need to be concerned' because their game of make believe is just a very much what happens when kids play through their trauma. Anyways just been working more on my own oc's and posting stories on my blog for them and yeah take a little sneak peak of my babies :3

“What are you three doing?” Their game is cut off by a disbelieving voice, three pairs of eyes whipping up to stare at the adult who walked into the room. Cassandra stares back at them, hand on her hip and confusion written all over her face.

“Umm… playin’ house?” May says, sounding less than confident. Lawrence nods- and Tristan… Tristan is pretty sure he wants the floor to swallow him whole.

“Dear Lord… I’m not dealing with this… I can't deal with this...” Cassandra mutters under her breath, not that it helps, she’s still loud enough to be audible. “You kids will be the death of me…”

Tristan can watch in real time as the elder woman gathers herself. He joked along with the others that most of the crew enter what they call ‘mother hen mode’. He’s never been on the receiving end of it. Never realized just how soft her features turn.

“Let’s play a different game for a while, hmm? One that isn't so..." She seems to struggle to find the right words. "I just don't think it's a good idea anymore.”

And where he’s fully expecting her to turn, ask for him to maybe help carry the other regressor, clean up the toys, something, even just to leave now that she's here- instead Cassandra's face softens, humming questionably as though to say ‘now how do you fit into this…’

The problem is, he doesn’t. He doesn’t regress, doesn’t need to, doesn’t want to. He’s no caregiver either, terrible with kids that aren’t his sister. There is no reason to be here and no reason that he isn’t saying anything. No reason as to why his heart is beating erratically, no reason why he feels so exposed.

And because his brain decides to betray him further, his first instinct is to tip his head forward, hide his face behind his bangs and the stuffed animal in his lap, not helping his case at all.

“I was forced against my will to be here.” He mutters, because maybe if he could just explain-

“Of course.” Cassandra says not missing a beat. Nodding seriously in a way you might to appease a child.

It's infuriating, because it's wrong, and it makes him feel, feel... small. He doesn't know if he wants her to keep being kind or to quit acting like he's included as one of her kiddos.

Another game with nonbinary characters is an rpg called Ikenfell! It was one of my favorite games to play last year and the music and just everything? Honestly so good I'm def replaying it this year. It also has tons of good accessibility features!

Another game studio I love is @pillowfightio !!! They worked on Later Alligator, We Know the Devil, and Heaven Will Be Mine. I highly recc all of them but esp. Later Alligator cuz like just look at Joanie. They're so cool.  

In the game Everhood gender doesn't exist <3 Literally multiple characters are referred to with they/them pronouns and the gameplay is very enjoyable 

 CW LOTS of flashing lights and I feel like there should maybe be more cws but I'm not sure what else to add :l I guess a warning is that Everhood gets into more serious stuff and I'll be honest when the game first came out I had to put it down for several days b/c I just wasn't ready for a lot of that stuff, but I honestly liked the game a lot!

I was debating on adding this bc while I love this game there's some issues. So Gnosia is like werewolf ( or among us if you will ) but more narrative focused with time loops etc. There's two wonderful nonbinary characters and you can be nonbinary HOWEVER ( minor gnosia spoilers. skip past if you want to avoid it) . . . For some reason finding out the AGAB of one of the characters is mandatory and I fucking hate that. It's so unnecessary esp for the world building that's been done. Also tws for the game: sexual abuse / assault, gore ( in only one scene ) (spoilers end) but yeah I still added it because the characters are so neat and strong for the type of game it is and without that bit I wouldn’t feel so :/ abt recommending it. It’s pretty fun ngl

Wandersong!!! The main character is nonbiney and I love them <33 It's such a lovely little musical adventure with such a nice narrative and!! Some of the devs just released Chicory ( which I haven't gotten to play yet ;v; ) but check that out too!!

Bravery Network Online is super fun!! It's a turn based rpg that feels really good and has two characters that use they/them pronouns ( Fel and Reed ) the character designs are sooo good and the game is currently in early access!

"reboot" is my treasure, I just knew I'm gonna rewatch it A LOT, and there were versions of "watch it like this", but I was like no, I literally love the whole thing, I'm the one who adores the warehouse arc and everything. The only thing I didn't want is the xiaobai implications of romance, even if didn't work at the end, it was still annoying me at times and I wanted the whole experience of my fav epicness without anything ruining my vibe, so I actually worked pretty hard on that one, it's like unnoticable that anything was there haha, plus I added author's pingxie notes that made it all even sweeter. before i get to giffing this week’s episodes..

i normally don’t do write-ups for baht oyunu or ada masalı but i just had some thoughts that i really wanted out of my head. this got a bit out of hand and became longer than i intended oops 😅 and ofc, beware of spoilers!

so this week’s episodes of both baht oyunu and ada masalı dealt with quite a lot of pain and heartbreak, which really put my shipper heart thru the wringer. but that’s what we get for clowning and investing as much as we do, right? 🤡

i really wanted to give a special shoutout to AM for finally having all the cards on the table. a lot of the times with dizis they tend to drag out the miscommunication and lies to no end, but seeing them confront all the lies and deception in one go was so flippin’ refreshing. not to mention, that scene where haziran and poyraz were locked up in that hotel room and just hashing everything out.. that deserves all 👏 the 👏 awards👏 their acting was so well done, i had tears in my eyes by the end. 

and you know what? i also really appreciate that the writing gives haziran a lot of credit for trying to fix her mistakes and still wanting to stick around as opposed to her moping around and leaving the island out of self-pity, which is what we normally see. even just her locking both of them up in the hotel room just so she could have a chance to present her side of the situation was legendary behaviour, but for her to step out afterwards and claim her mark on this island, knowing she would be ostracized and heckled was the cherry on top. im HERE for this queen shit 👑 they really don’t write female characters like this so i'm just so excited that we’re going somewhere new that i personally haven’t experienced before in diziland.

also, thank god that 🐍 hakan got exposed for the lying cheat that he is as well. i was so worried that he would still get away with all his crimes and just blame it all on haziran, but he also got what was coming for him and i’m just so pumped about that. sure he got away by the end of the episode, but that ass-whooping was SO satisfying.

of course, the next couple episodes are gonna be pretty intense and filled with a lot of pain, but they’ve ripped off the bandaid at this point and now everything just has to settle down and heal. which means they can get back to falling in love without any more hurdles and lies!! what a win, right??? like honestly, as a viewer & fan, i feel respected in a sense bc they’re not wasting our time with any more intricate lies and we’re finally getting down to the bottom of things, we’re not beating around the bush anymore.

which leads me to baht oyunu..

trust me when i say i actually enjoyed this latest episode a lot, purely for the angst. but at some point, the can of worms has to come out, right? and the lies just keep piling up, there’s no end to it. the worst is that SO many ppl are becoming involved, right down to ada’s prof - who’s a real one btw - for not clarifying with bora that ada never graduated.

i hate to compare, but after seeing this week’s ep of AM, it’s hard not to wish for something similar to happen in BO bc as a viewer i’m starting to get confused about who’s in on all the lies and who’s not. as far as i can tell, the major lies seem to be that a) ada’s married - happily and b) ada graduated, but because of these lies, a lot of smaller lies have stemmed like selin being married. 

i know with a show like BO where everything is more light-hearted, we can’t expect the same sort of fallout like poyhaz had in AM but man it would be really cathartic. i just want all cards on the table, i want everything cleared up so that adbor can also move on and fall in love without anything burdening them. with the way the show has been going so far, i really thought they would be switching things up and having a confession earlier on, but i’m starting to think we’re gonna have to wait for it just like every other dizi. i hope to god i’m wrong tho. 

also, if we really think about it, why would bora even be personally affected by these lies? like she basically just lied on her resume and got the job, and is amazing at her job. if bora wasn’t already falling for her, would this really be that big of an issue to him? it shouldn’t matter, right? the most this would be is a breach of contract, a breach of trust, but the longer they drag it out, the more involved he becomes (unnecessarily). she didn’t exactly do him dirty by lying and getting the job, she got the job for her own means, not as a favour to him or anything.

the fragman for next week’s ep doesn’t really make me feel any better, but obviously i’ll still be around, esp to see jealous bora lol. idk, i just feel like it’s really unfair to both ada and bora’s characters to have all this be so dragged out, esp considering how much all this is weighing on ada's conscience and how supportive bora has been this whole time. 

bora continues to surprise me with how he's ALWAYS there for ada and notices the tiniest things about her. he's becoming one of my fav characters in any turkish dizi. which is why im equally as jumpy to see how exactly he would react when all the truths are exposed. i highly doubt he'll be as erratic as poyraz, he'll more likely be very emotional and disappointed. and he's been trying to connect the dots since the beginning instead of being totally blissful so when exactly do we get to see the outcome of that? atp im more impatient than he is for everything to be laid out 😅

all in all, these episodes were still fantastic and we better gear up for more pain coming our way before our mains get the peace and love they deserve 🥲 im gonna get to giffing tonight so if you have any requests pls hit me up (that is if any of you are still reading). also if you like these write-ups, i might do more in the future 😊

sydney i trust ur opinions so i wanted to know what you think/how you feel about awsten sharing all those "how to stream parx" things that are usually made by kpop fans/mainstream pop fans to run up song numbers? me personally I think it's kind of :/ i know he wants to be famous like Famous but... it feels like it cheapens something about the music a bit to me.

bleh i really dont care for it and ill explain why, but i also understand where hes coming from...

so like you said those “streaming guides” detailing how to game youtube/spotify to count your streams started in kpop/pop fandom to boost their artists streaming count and all. the attitude morphed to be like “STREAM BTS 24 HOURS A DAY OR UR A FAKE FAN 🤬” which, i hate BUT it started within fan communities as something they could do to support their artists without buying stuff, esp if they werent able to, which is a really good way to help your favs!!!

but the thing awstens doing with the sharing of stream-gaming guides on the band account as well as those “[SONG] x100” playlists and encouraging fans to just let them play constantly and rack up numbers sits.... badly...... with me.......... maybe its no different than begging ppl to buy merch but begging ppl to stream you constantly??? it comes off as desperate!!! maybe thats harsh but youre coopting a fan support method and using it for official gain, which is lame, and also all your fans are like 16 and obsessed with you, and will do anything you tell them to do and accept that as “the right thing to do,” which i cant put into words well but also dont vibe with...........

now, i do get it. this is his livelihood, and stream counts DO matter a lot when they make you chart and get your name on important lists. other artists do the begging for streams thing too, i get that. im sure hed say the industry is ~stacked against him~ and he needs every boost he can get, which is also probably true. but holy shit dude this comes off as so desperate!! youre coopting a fan support method to artificially inflate ur stream count and being so brazen about it? awstens always been shameless about self-promo so i shouldnt be surprised really, and i think artists have it really hard especially these days so i dont think aggressive self-promo is bad per say, but i think we have very different opinions of how much is too much..... hes really on that “no one will ever care as much as you do no one will fight for you blah blah” thing because hes got a chip on his shoulder and also i dont think their labels helping much but idk. im a very prideful person and the idea of looking this desperate to self-promo makes my skin crawl a little. but maybe you have to cast aside your pride to make it in hollywood these days?
