I'm disappointed that Solas having vallaslin at one point was never mentioned in game, and that there wasn't any discussion on the existence of Mythal's vallaslin in ancient society even though she supposedly didn't have slaves

#I'm pretty sure he had it bc Cole's line wouldn't make sense if he didn't #Not being able to talk to Solas about his memories or Mythal is a missed opportunity I think #esp when she plays a pivotal role in the redemption ending #I feel like an implication for why her vallaslin exists is that her followers had it as a symbol of dedication rather than ownership #just based on that one codex where iirc they talk about how to show their reverence for her properly #and that's probably also why Solas would wear it #But if that's the case then it would be very much like what the Dalish do now #which would be an interesting conversation to have with Solas #Dragon Age
