What's your favorite fic you've written for "The Lion" AU?

There's literally only four in existence right now lmao, but if I had to pick,,,

It'd have to be this one, AKA The One That Focuses On Mirtala. We've got three other pieces dissecting how Dion's doing (badly), but I didn't get to explore how Mirtala's coping in depth until that piece. It's definitely the piece I'm most proud of, especially Dion & Mirtala's awful little argument.

#ask zaz #ouroboros au #see bc they were all written in the same month you'd expect them to all be of similar quality #and maybe they are #i like the little paralleled/echoed lines between the pieces bc i felt really clever when i slapped those bad boys down pre-october #but i don't think the action in the first one is super great :|#day14 gives some lore and kind of describes dion's slow fall from grace but like. there's not as much depth as i'd like #and then i don't believe i really gave enough foundation for dion's respect for tammy by the time i got to the third one #i def do want to write more for this au #esp stuff to further flesh out tammy and dion's respect for her #and his reaction to her being psychic. i gotta explore that in more depth #and!! we still gotta get to the rest of the aquatos!! this au isn't finished yet!!#it's not finished until dion & mirtala get their freedom and chance to recover #oh wow i sure rambled a lot #mm. this feels a little braggy #but also i am allowed to be as cringe and self-indulgent as i want so. send post
